PuroClean was there within minutes and just jumped in to assess the mess and never skipped a beat. 123, They were cleaning water up and then adding major fans. They discussed with us each step, letting us know the flooring was buckled and needed to come up. I was a mess crying. They were so empathic of our feelings. The whole team just really cared. Even coming back home after a week at a hotel, I was overwhelmed with the cleanup from the dust. I called and they came to help with sweeping and mopping again even leaving an extra deodorizer for my piece of mind. They were just a phone call away and I felt like I was there most important customer. The whole staff was great and encouraging. Thank you, PuroClean for taking such good care of us!

Over the Labor Day holiday we had water back up in our basement which was fully carpeted.  At the recommendation of our agent we called PUROCLEAN and they came the following day (Sunday). Spent 3 hours setting up equipment and doing some water extraction.  Left the fans & dehumidifier until Thursday. The carpet was never lifted and the padding was still saturated.  Highly unsatisified especially after receiving the bill and being charged for more extraction than was actually done.  They did adjust the bill somewhat when I told them I didn't think it was fair.   We removed the carpet and padding after they left and bought our own dehumidifier to finish drying out the woodwork.   I guess I am wrong to think that people should get paid for what they do not what they think the insurance company will allow for a particular job.

Paul Davis Restoration of Utah - Kaysville Office

In early February, Northern Utah had experienced below freezing temperatures. One of my pipes froze and busted in my basement. Causing a tremendous amount of damage. Almost 6 inches of water covered the entire basement. So I had reached out to my insurance and they had recommended Paul Davis restoration. At first I thought the communication between Paul Davis and I was a positive one, they assessed my house. They got started as soon as I paid a deposit they quoted me a time frame of 4 months that it would take to finish the job. They said around the end of May early June is when they could be completed with the job. Once May had approached, I realized that they would not be completed by May. When I talked to Riley Sparks (My site manager) he quoted me end of June early July as you may have guessed things got backed up even more as Riley Sparks slowly fell off the face of the Earth in communication and they were not completed with the job  until mid August. I have spent almost 7 months. Out of my house when he finally sent the text that the job was complete. I went over, and got the city to turn the water back on. The city had reached out to me to expressed concern that when they turned the water on at my residence, it was coming out at 50 gallons a minute which is abnormal for a home. They immediately turn the water back off when I had visited my home, the basement was flooded yet again. Paul Davis never fixed the pipe that had caused the problem to begin with when I reached out to Riley he told me that he assumed the pipe had been fixed and that it was my responsibility because I did not call the plumber. Looking back over my estimate from my insurance it shows, plain as day, that they had paid Paul Davis to fix the pipe/hose bib. And now, as I’m writing this review, I think to myself what did Paul Davis actually do? The whole point of them was to fix the pipe and restore my Home back to its Original state. Paul Davis is being paid for a job they did not complete. While I’m stuck like a teenager in my mother basement.

Paul Davis Restoration of Utah is a Great company. Please allow me to share why I feel this way. Prior to my recent experience with them I had no exposure to this company. I did see their marked vehicles while driving through my community, but really didn't know what types of services they provided.

Well my wife and I were within four hours of leaving on a out of state trip when we discovered we had an issue with a broken plumbing pipe in our home. We cancelled our trip, contacted our homeowners insurance company who gave us a list of preferred providers, which Paul Davis was one of them. We chose to go with Paul Davis and let me just say, that was the best decision and choice we could have ever made. From the moment that we received a call back from a member of the Paul Davis Team we were nothing short of amazed at the level of their responsiveness and customer service.

Each and every member of their team treated us with the upmost respect, they kept us informed as to what they were doing, why they were doing it and what the outcome would be.  We literally sat back and watched them work very hard at getting our house fixed and put back together. And the finished product has left us in a state of awe.  Thanks Paul Davis Restoration. We highly recommend this company to anyone who needs a job done correctly,

For being a mold and restoration company, they did a terrible job at removing all of the mold. They removed a portion of the wall and then sprayed some solution on the mold. I later went downstairs and removed a portion of the wall just 1 inch away and found the black mold to span 2ft past that area. They weren’t thorough. I ended up doing most of the cleanup myself. Then, the project manager had promised he would give us a quote about restoration for the basement… we waited for weeks. He told us he was waiting for insurance to contact him but when we chatted with our insurance agent, he said he was never contacted by Paul Davis. The project manager finally had contacted us and said he would be out that week to begin working. After calling back to see what day they planned to come and start work, he said that this job was actually not worth it for their company to do because my insurance wasn’t going to pay out more than what the job was worth. Terrible communication which led us to sit around for weeks waiting around for someone to help fix our basement when we could’ve spent time getting quotes elsewhere. The project manager also said he would help us ‘fight’ the insurance company to get us the best outcome, that did not happen. Terrible quality of work done by mitigation. I don’t need a follow up by the company apologizing or making excuses. I’d go elsewhere if you’re looking for someone to handle flooding, mold, and restoration for your home.

Paul Davis has wasted about a month and a half of our time due to poor communication, lack of follow-up and broken timelines on the restoration process after we had a flood from a bathtub. I was clear and honest with the work I needed done and the work I wanted to complete myself from the start and now it just isn't worth their time. If they had an issue with this from the beginning, I would have managed the project myself.

Morgan Griggs, my Paul Davis project manager, was a delight to work with.  He was most courteous and professional and very responsive to my phone calls and texts.  Morgan assembled a wonderful team of sub-contractors who, under his supervision, did excellent, professional work. Brianna Cortes in the Kaysville office sent me flash updates on a regular basis and was always available to walk me through the finances. This is the second time I've worked with Paul Davis, and they are amazing.  I've already referred Paul Davis to a friend!

Really, it's the easiest update you will do and relatively economical, considering the cost of other updates in your home!  The doors fit perfectly and look super!

My experience with Puro Clean has been amazing. Coming home to a major water loss in my home was devastating to say the least. My damage is considered a large loss. I was out of town and when I made it back to my home, I was greeted by (amazing Sam) the gentleman in charge of the medigation part. His concern for me and my property put me ease immediately. He got his team working fast to pull out everything wet. That first day was very important and Sam was organized along with his crew Hunter, Logan and Andrew. Every staff member was on point and very kind to me. They all had my best interest at heart. They promptly removed all wet debris and set up tons of fans and dehumidifier’s. Their process took them about 7 days to get my house completely dried out and ready for rebuild. They always arrived early each day Another key factor to my calmness was the owner Shawn Ernest!! When our home suffered from water damage, the team at Puro Clean took care of our family: from drying the walls/ceiling/floors, removing the damage, packing up our home professionally and making all the repairs - they did a great job. Everyone kept us updated and we were able to see the amazing work while it was being done. Especially the transformation of the 1970s master bathroom was incredible. There won’t ever be enough positive words to describe how amazing PuroClean is. After the first phone call with Jasmine, the receptionist, I knew this company was a good one- outstanding customer service! Jasmine quickly connected me with Crystal to get a project estimate completed. Once I received the very detailed estimate from the estimating team (Jimena and a few others, I believe?), Crystal answered any questions I had and was able to get a few things adjusted and added to the estimate in a matter of minutes- Including honoring a military discount! We were working on a very tight timeframe and PuroClean was able to get our project on the schedule quickly and cleanup began the following workweek. Cleanup is where Vanessa and her team came in. Keep in mind, this was an intense clutter cleanup (hoarding situation, if you will) for my 88 year old grandmother who has suffered grief and illness over the last 20+ years. This was not a project for just anyone. I prayed for God to send me the right people for the job and I know, without a doubt, Vanessa and her team are proof that He answers prayers. On day one of cleanup, I was amazed at how fast the process was moving and it continued that way for the duration of the project. Vanessa made sure she understood what we wanted to do with specific belongings and relayed the detailed instructions for each room to the team- they took direction like champs and got to work. Vanessa would review with me at the start/end of everyday and let me know what would be completed that day and the following. I can’t explain how intensely she and the cleaning team worked and ALWAYS with smiles (everyone was so kind, gentle and focused). From across the home, they would come find me to hand me important keepsakes—anything ranging from large antique items and photo albums to a single tiny diamond stud earring. During the process, PuroClean was able to provide specific trade technicians as needed and even brought a team in to perform another estimate for structural repairs and interior painting. After packing and cleaning was complete, we opted for the Ozone Treatment to address any remaining odors in the home and that thing WORKS! Like I said, there will never be enough great things to say about this company, but what I can say is that my Grandmother’s home is now clean and clutter free. It’s solely because of PuroClean that she can now ENJOY her remaining years in her beautiful home! None of this would have been possible without this company. I hope I didn’t forget to mention anyone who helped with this- just know this company as a whole provides OUTSTANDING service. Apparently the most stars I can give is 5, but they deserve 100.

PuroClean was absolutely fantastic!  Ivan Oliver and his staff were very professional, polite, and proficient. I had Terry and his team from Ace Handyman Services in Grand Rapids, MI, do a variety of tasks around my house in Caledonia, MI including fixing various boards on my deck, fixing gates on my deck, putting up vinyl boards where woodpeckers had caused damage, drywalling and sanding where a room heater was in the wall, some small electrical work in my house, and adding some barriers to keep my yellow lab out of certain areas around my house.  Terry and his team did a great job and he is willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything is satisfactory.  He is very honest and trustworthy.  I highly recommend him and his team.

Ace Handyman Services Grand Rapids assisted my carpentry and balcony deck projects: bookshelves repair; wood boards replacement and railing repaint.  Both projects seemed straightforward, yet the tasks ended up challenging due to my loading capacity needs and the height/weight of balcony unit.
