Abraham arrived on time, repaired our front door problem and was very pleasant throughout the appointment. He seems to be very knowledgeable about several types of household issues and I will use Ace and request Abraham when needed again. Great experience!

I did NOT have a good experience dealing with this company.

I don't want to air all of my personal issues to the public but I am dealing with a hospice situation.  The light in my kitchen went out and it wasn't the bulb, so an acquaintance of mine recommended this company.

I scheduled the first available appointment because of all of the things going on in my life right now. So they scheduled me for 8:30am, and I pushed all of my plans for later in the day.

They did not show up at the appointed time and I received no call or text saying they were going to be late.  So I was working on my other issues, I walk back and pick up my phone from the living room and see that and hour and 5 minutes after the scheduled time I get a call from a Denice who didn't leave a message.

I didn't know who that was it could be a nurse or a sales call?  As I was checking to see if they left a message I get a text stating the technician is on his way.

I texted back that this was the first communication that I have received in a little over an hour past our appointment.  I asked, "Do we get a discount?"  Mainly out of frustration and the fact that they are expensive, so I expected better communication with the customer.  If I wanted this kind of service I would have gone with a different option.

Their response was immediate, we always have a window of an hour, please confirm that you want to move forward.  Then texted back, I just stopped the technician.

I explained my frustration and told her what was going on and her response was... I called you and you didn't answer.

I moved my whole day for this and to have no customer service on top of this, just aggravated me, so I told her to keep my appointment cancelled because if this is how their company responds to their customers, I don't want to do business with them.

They responded, Sorry for the inconvenience.  All I wanted was something to be taken off of my plate.  I never make complaints, but I needed to make this one.

Couldn't ask for a better company to work with. Mary in the office was so nice. They always kept you in the loop on the status of the job and always on time. We will definitely be using them again.

Called out to adjust corner cabinets, after assurances from company they could.  Tech could not adjust.  While there had him caulk one bathtub and change one piece of trim.  Charged over $ 200 when the purpose for the call was not resolved.  First and last time using ACE Handyman.

They also installed a safer attic ladder. The previous one fell on my head.

Inst-I-Glass

Had a warranty problem with my windows. The manufacturer went out of business, but they were able to just replace the glass and the window sashes.
I like them so well I had them bid new side lights glass for my front door. They wouldn’t put them in because the sidelights had to be modified, and that’s beyond their scope

We had a large window that was shattered when our lawn care company's weed-eater threw a rock into our window. Inst-I-Glass was very quick to provide a quote, simply by having us send pictures of the window, and very responsive when I texted with questions. They were right on time for the scheduled appointment and the replacement glass installation was quick and very reasonable. Service was very professional and friendly! I highly recommend them!

Insti-I-glass was amazing from start to finish. They were very communicative and professional. They replaced our patio door panes and bathroom window and we are so pleased with how great they look. Joe did a fantastic job and was very efficient and friendly. And they were one of the only places who were willing to service Shepherdsville! Prices were fair and competitive. I would use them again and highly recommend their services!

I cannot say enough good things here.  Called to inquire about fixing the glass in a couple windows. Unfortunately I was outside of their service area. But then Kela called me back and said I could bring it to them if I was willing, which would save a little $ anyway. She then got me taken care of the next day due to the time-sensitive nature of needing the repair.  She arranged for her son to be there first thing in the morning and he knocked it out with perfection.  I am so grateful for the above and beyond that I received and the work was stellar!

Came home one day to find a window broken by a golf ball. The windows are original to the house being built and I really didn’t want to spend a lot to replace the entire window. I called Inst-I-glass and spoke to Kella. She was very helpful. Said she would try to squeeze me in that day. I got a call in the afternoon and Butch came out. He checked out the issue and was able to get my window repaired the next day.  The staff and crew are very polite and accommodating.  This option is much more affordable then replacing the entire window. Great service!!

Paul Davis Restoration of San Antonio

We had water damage done to our home which affected the downstairs along with the flooring upstairs outside the bathroom where the leak happened.  We contacted Paul Davis and they were very quick and responsive.  We really liked them and decided to go with them.  They immediately went to work removing all the damage and drying out the affected areas.  I was told the whole job would take about a month.  I figured double or even triple the time due to unforeseen things that could happen.
The problems then started.  They sent the supplement to the insurance but forgot half of it so it didn't get approved.  *(Their response of unexpected damage is incorrect.  It was brought up and pointed out from day 1.  They just forgot to put it in the original supplement) I didn't find out that wasn't sent until 4 months later.  The first group came in to fix drywall, the ceiling and painting.  After about of month of sloppy and half done job Paul Davis decided to fire them.  Then they brought in a second group to fix all the mistakes the first group did.  Unfortunately they were about the same.  Every one thing they fixed, the broke, or ruined 2 other things.  Damage to personal property and expanded the area that needed to be fixed.  While all this was still going, they decided to put in the new flooring upstairs and down.  In my opinion this should be one of the last things done so the new flooring doesn't get damaged due to the additional works still needing to be done.  Needless to say I have a ton of paint now all over the new flooring and dings in it as well.  The flooring people they sent also did very shady work.  Just as an example; the didn't move some furniture when they put in the new carpeting upstairs so when I did move it there was an existing patch of the old carpet still there.  I could write forever on all the things that went wrong but who really wants to read that long of a novel.  This is already to long.  Summary... not one thing they did, did correctly and didn't have to be redone.  At the time of me writing this, it has been 5 1/2 months and they are still not done.  We are still waiting for them to fix the damage they did, replace personal items that were broken or went missing and waiting for the second supplement they had to do since they didn't do it correctly the first time.

Our misfortune put on us on a path with Paul Davis restoration.  They have been compassionate, professional, punctual.  They helped correct the water damage.  We will entertain using their contractors to rebuild now clean up has been done correctly.

Paul Davis Restoration company took great care of me and my house when I had a bad kitchen leak. They were helpful and kept me posted regarding the progress of the mitigation. Mark was knowledgeable and honest and told me everything I needed to know about the status of my home.

I had the opportunity to have Paul Davis help me with my restoration project. My experience has been outstanding. I’m very impressed! Right from the start they were prompt, communicated well, and got the job done right!

I’m overly impressed with this company. Quick response, very professional, real thorough, and accommodating.  Mark and his team, Jesus and Logan, were excellent. Jesus was especially impressive. He took the project seriously and ensured it was done right.  Easy to work with and trustworthy.
I hope never to have another need for restoration service, but I will definitely call on Paul Davis for help.

Ciocca Cleaning & Restoration

On July 5, 2022, our basement was affected by the 14 inches of rain we received over a 5 hour period. By 8am, we knew our basement was receiving water. After getting a hold of a plumber to help with our sump pump issue, we called Cioccas because we saw the truck often in our neighborhood.

Dave Black lives around the corner for us and was over to our house to do the initial assessment of our house. They removed carpet and padding in our back room and brought down dehumidifiers and fans to start the drying process. He returned a few days later to make a full assessment which required a drywall flood cut in two rooms, carpet removal, new baseboard in finished part of basement, and painting walls.

The work was coordinated well and the basement was finished on time. The work was done to our satisfaction. All work with coordinated with our Insurance so that made it very smooth. Dave also helped us figure out a small remodel project that allowed us to take our a small wall due to the mess in the basement. He assisted us by coordinating an electrician and drywaller to help fix this repair (Done at our cost).

We were very happy that Ciocca partnered with us for our restoration. So many people's basements were damaged during this storm event. We understood it would not be a fast restoration but his met our goal to have basement restored by the end of September in time for family to arrive for a family wedding.

When we came home on New Years Day this year, we found that our basement had flooded.  We contacted numerous companies and only one returned our call immediately and came out that day and that was Ciocca's.  Dave was our main contact and he did a great job of communicating and getting our basement dry quickly.  We had to replace some drywall and carpet as well.  Overall, the work that the Ciocca's team did was professional and thorough.  We were very thankful for their prompt response to our issue.

The staff member assigned to clean our facility is great - very thorough, great attention to detail, great communicator, goes over and above for us. He is definitely part of our Team. Company owner is engaged and accessible. Highly recommend!

Yvette Jenkins and her team do an amazing job for us at the downtown One Summit Square. I appreciate her positive attitude and the attention her team gives to cleaning. Great work!!

The worker drives downtown as we protesting and gives us the finger…. Whether you agree with the cause or disagree you’re driving a company van you should be more professional.

Chem-Dry of Fort Wayne

Brad from ChemDry Fort Wayne was on time, very professional and respectful. He did a whole house carpet clean at a resonable price and I can say the carpet has never looked this nice and with a nice scent. I intend to use this company in the future and would recommend this company for their carpet cleaning needs.

Chem-Dry of Fort Wayne estimated a price 40% less to clean our sectional than Chem-Dry of Allen County. They have different owners and told us they can set their own prices. Both companies had good ratings so we went with Chem-Dry of Fort Wayne. I’m so glad we did! Scheduling was super easy. I filled out a short contact form online and then got a call to schedule. Brad showed up on time and was very professional. He answered all of my questions while he was here and did a thorough job cleaning. The sectional is drying now but looks great. Thank you!

Mediocre at best, I cannot recommend this business. Two stars only for at least calling for being late and he was relatively nice. But I do believe it's time to get his eyeglass prescription updated.

What sets him apart is the care and attention to detail he gives to your carpet and home. He’s not in and out in 30 minutes like other companies—rather, he takes the time to make sure that every inch of your home is clean and beautiful. He’s on time and extremely knowledgeable about carpet and what is best for your home. Yea f you have pet stains/odors, he’s your guy. Trust me when I say that I’ve tried them all—used every coupon, only to be left unhappy and cheated.  His prices are fair and competitive and is an absolute pleasure to have in my home.

Brad from ChemDry Fort Wayne was on time, professional, and very friendly! My carpet had multiple stains from a dog and toddler, that have all been removed. My carpet looks great, and I love the fresh clean scent!

Incredible experience!!! These people treat you like family. Adam and Heidi are very quick to respond to your request, get you scheduled, and get your project taken care of. I have had nothing but great results.

They put in a great service door in my garage that is flawless, and hung garage racks. If you want a job done right trust these folks to do it.

John did an excellent job. He was on time, explained what was going to do, showed pictures of the finished project and even did extra caulking. We will definitely use the company again and ask for John.

This company has gone above and beyond with every aspect of their service. Communication to me is the utmost respect and they HAVE IT! I live in a tiny house that had some water entry issues. Although, they were not able to find or fix the entry point, they did everything they could, throughly, as if it were their own home. Unfortunately, it is a manufacturing issue with the water problem and they made and kept all contact with the builder, who is out of state, and with myself on every appointment and progress.
Tom, who was my main contact on the job site, has been amazing to say the least. He is respectful, honest, informative, always has a smile, and has treated me like I am a member of his family. All the other men that have come out as well, with or without Tom, have also been respectful and knowledgeable. Heidi and her team are a 5 star company! I highly recommend Ace Handyman Service to anyone who is in need of any home repairs!

My first exposure to the company was the person who answered the phone. First of all, they answered! This is a huge plus and a factor that sets this company apart from others I reached out to.

Next, Sarah was kind, courteous, and professional - providing useful information about the company and services they provide. She was prompt in getting me an appointment that met my needs.

Third, comes the actual people doing the handyman work. Todd and Adam were super kind, meticulous and did a great job changing the height to accommodate a washer/dryer to fit underneath.

I learned that this is a small, family operated business that has been doing this for about 10 months. Here's to your growth and expansion! Because your company is just that great!!!

First of all, the owner James Scalf, was most professional in helping my wife and I with understanding the process of restoration of a closet and hardwood floors following a ruptured pipe in our coat closet. He sent out Izaiah Rivera to inspect and then make a plan of what needed to be done. His explanations were succinct and he answered all our questions. I really enjoyed my experience with PuroClean. From the technicians that came to my house (Aaron and Trey) to the receptionist to answer all my calls. I felt very at ease when they came to my house and explained to me step by step on the process of cleanup. Everyone I had contact with were very professional, helpful and kind. For a stressful time with water damage, they made me feel better once they walked in the door!!

I called Puro clean to clean out a dryer vent that birds had moved into. It was a big mess. Sam and Seth came the same day I called and cleaned it out. They were very nice and did a great job. I would definitely recommend their services. Thanks guys!

I've needed PuroClean to do water restoration on my house twice, and both experiences have been excellent.  They are professional and thorough, quick to respond, and their employees are top notch.  I have been very pleased with their work and with the speed at which they responded to emergencies at my home.

If you are considering hiring this company, please read this rather lengthy review. I hate to write bad reviews but given how terrible my experience was with this company I feel obligated to and I would hate for anyone to go through what I went through. I hired Puroclean to do mold remediation. Due to the extent of the damage, my insurance did not cover the costs so I paid out of pocket. I found that because the insurance did not cover my costs, they cut a lot of corners and did not take care of all the mold. I had them come back more than 3 times for subsequent treatments because I kept finding mold they hadn't taken care of. The supervisors appeared to be knowledgeable but unfortunately the workers did not know what they were doing and were often left unsupervised. This was evident when they ripped out my drywall before doing an asbestos test. When I expressed my disappointment, the supervisor did an asbestos test and did indeed find asbestos. Therefore, my partner and I were likely breathing in asbestos fibers for days since there were no containment precautions taken. When I asked they take a look for mold behind another area, they told me it was not needed. I insisted, and they finally pulled out drywall covered in mold that would have been left untreated. Upon taking out part of my kitchen that had to go to get to the mold, they broke my sink and put a hole in my wall. I ended up having to treat the mold myself because I got tired of asking them to come back. I would never recommend this company for mold remediation.

I have used Ace Handyman services earlier this year and again recently and have always had a good experience. Sabien did work for me previously and most recently Scott and Juan did some work on the outside of my house. Scott, Sabien and Juan were each very professional, punctual, efficient and knowledgeable in their skills. I was impressed by their high standards in their quality of the work. I can see that they each take pride in the work they do. They truly care about their customers and the work they do. Samantha was also very nice and helpful and caring in scheduling my projects. I will continue to use Ace handyman services for future home projects and I highly recommend them.

I was looking forward to purchase services from Ace Handyman Services. I was very impressed after reading all the outstanding reviews. However, when I contacted them, at first, they were extremely responsive, until they stopped responding when I needed immediate assistance. My expectations to a job well done were high, but the lack of communication and unresponsiveness did not sit right with me.

Gilbert did any excellent job, was on time, very friendly and honest with pricing….we were quoted double for the same work by multiple companies.  Highly recommend Ace Handyman, and Gilbert.  Thank you so much for tackling our pet project!!

It was our first time using Ace Handyman Services, the individual they sent out here was not professional at all. He first stopped by to look at that repairs and to see what materials he would need, he left to purchase the materials and ended up giving us a call while at the store that the materials were going to cost literally about $200 MORE than what we were initially quoted. I get that it is normal to have a small variance and be off by a little but by $200 is insane, when originally we were told it would be about $89 for materials. To top it off, after the handyman started working on the repairs we noticed that he purchased the wrong ones. They did not match the ones we currently use. He said he would have to go out to the store and repurchase the correct materials and he would bite the cost of the incorrect materials that he purchased but he would still have to charge us for the labor,  we told him we needed to speak to a supervisor because if he initially would have purchased the correct materials he wouldn't have needed to come back so why would we have to pay an additional amount if he was fixing HIS mistake? Makes no sense. He ended up speaking with his supervisor himself and his supervisor said to he would get it fixed for us and they would honor the original quoted amount. To top it off!! Some of the materials needed to be cut and he had the materials laying on top of one of our desks and he must have have not been careful because he cut our desk up, it was a big cut left on it that it did not already have. Not the best first experience.
