Blake and Nick did a fantastic job (at a very fair price) of renovating our ancient deck -- carefully inspecting the support structure and verifying that it is in excellent shape, replacing the railing with a beautiful, more modern railing (with hidden solar-powered lighting), refinishing the existing deck boards and outward facing support elements, buttressing support where needed, installing a gate, etc.  I will repeat their names because they deserve it -- Blake and Nick are professional, friendly, highly skilled and very hard workers.  If you get them for your project, you will be quite happy with the result.

The supervisor and company owner, Nate, is expert and -- like Blake and Nick -- is a seasoned problem-solver.  One of the attached pictures of the deck is through an open door -- Nate showed up to check on the project, became intrigued when I told him that door had been frozen for 22 years, and then somehow got it open in about 90 minutes!  It has a FUHR triple-point mortise mechanism that is complex and very hard to find replacements for, so basically Nate saved a very nice door for us, just off the cuff.

I want to mention my first appointment with Nate, where he came to price the job and evaluate other items on my to-do list. As we walked through the house, he spotted a number of things, gave me tips on how I could fix many of them myself, and then quoted a very reasonable price for the large deck project.  Blake and Nick did similar things -- freely giving me tips concerning some home repair projects I am working on.  These guys are very good at what they do!

Blake will be coming again next week to do another project, and at that time I will tee up further work (replacing exterior lights, repairing exterior doors, etc.) with him or Nate.  I certainly hope that Nick gets assigned to some of this future work as well!

My name is Richard McCoy, I live in Wexford, and perhaps by now you get the idea that I recommend Ace Handyman, Blake, Nick and Nate very highly.

P.s. a month later. . . . the deck continues to be fantastic.  Meanwhile, since then Blake came out and: (1) cleaned and sealed the driveway and sidewalks; (2) replaced ten exterior light fixtures; (3) fixed the mailbox (new concrete footing, painted box and numbers, etc.); (4) fixed the lamp post (similar steps); and (5) set our 20-foot-high entry hall up for painting (erecting scaffolding, covering floors, carpets, stairs and railings with drop cloths, etc.).  (And, as usual, Blake was very generous in giving tips on how to do certain projects I want to try.) Nick then came out and painted that entry hall -- trim and walls, including some very difficult trim work on a huge, very high window. And the result is that the entry hall looks fantastic -- a 100% professional, outstanding job.   All of this work was done at very reasonable prices -- in fact, I did not even ask for a quote, because I have come to know that Nate (the owner) is honest and fair. Anyway, once again, Blake and Nick are great -- probably soon I will ask them to come back out and fix up all my doors and windows!

I have been looking for contractors who could do a bit of remodeling, be it accents walls or wainscoting or trim work. I had no luck until I googled about Ace Handyman. Nathan reached out and gave a very reasonable estimate and we easily agreed. Then Nick came in and did all the magic. Extremely cordial and flexible people with the right expertise. Mary has been very efficient with the scheduling. They did a wonderful job and we will soon hire them for more work. This work has definitely added a new feather to their hat.

Blake has been a huge help to us through two visits. He’s super prompt & extremely pleasant to work with! We will gladly work with Ace again. They were able to tackle jobs others in the industry have not wanted to address, such as the repair of a pocket door. It’s really nice to know we have someone reliable we can call the next time a small house project pops up.

Nick was wonderful, set up new TV and spent time to walk me through everything, then installed a large mirror perfectly. Very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable.  Also appreciated that he brought indoor shoes and took care to clean up. Ace Handyman has been an awesome resource.

We used Ace Handyman for the first time today. It was for a minor siding repair and an estimate for some drywall work. We were happy that a workman could come out just two days after we called for the quick repair. Liam was very professional and seemed to be very knowledgeable about the work that needed to be done. We appreciate the quick repair.

PuroClean Restoration Specialists

Insurance sent out PuroClean for water mitigation, and they were great. They were considerate of our space and time, and they seemed to be minimally intrusive when it came to removing flooring/ceiling areas to allow for drying process.

Not willing to be flexible with getting a crew to come back to finish work that was not completed.  Try to schedule a review at 515 pm and the company does not have anyone that works after 5pm.  Not very flexible to the customers needs the job that they did in my house.   The job was not done properly and a return visit was needed with no luck of scheduling

After a burst pipe and two floors of our home having water damage PuroClean was recommended to us and they did an amazing job!  Throughout all my stress and worry they responded timely to my calls and questions providing detailed answers even taking the time to repeat themselves, likely multiple times, with professionalism and patience.   We even had a contractor come by and comment on what a thorough job they did removing all the areas damaged.  They were in our home almost a full week and all of us - even our puppy - were comfortable with them doing the work while home or out.  On days not home Chris called and sent messages with updates.
Sadly I know this happened in many other areas and having seen that progress versus the progress in our home I know we were lucky to secure PuroClean as our restoration specialists!

I contacted Chris at PuroClean to help with drying a portion of our basement carpet after it became damp.  He was out quickly with an industrial sized fan and dehumidifier to remedy the issue.  Within days, the area was completely dry! I highly recommend Chris and PuroClean as they are fast, friendly, and knowledgeable!

We were put in touch with Puroclean through our insurance company as a result water damage caused by a local appliance store's negligence in installing a new refrigerator.

Mike and Vince have been great to work with offering great suggestions, prompt, professional and thorough service, following through with what they communicate including appointment times.

Ace Handyman was able to reattach the fascia board under my roof and the repair man did an excellent job! The whole job was finished in 30 minutes and the price was reasonable! I've used Ace over the past few months for services while enclosing my porch.  Ace installed new panels on my porch roof, new carpet, sealed the drain openings and mounted a TV.  With each visit, they were on time, professional, and they did a great job.  They also offered advice & suggestions on some of the work that I planned to do on my own, so that I did the work correctly.  I definitely would recommend Ace, as I'm sure that I will use them again in the future!!

Carrie Hutchinson is amazing!  She has helped up us through the purchasing of a commercial building for our business, as well as the recent purchase of our new home. She goes above and beyond, always had our backs and steered us in the right direction. Always made sure we were smart in the offers we put in and taught us a bunch along the way. Highly recommend if you are in the market for purchasing any kind of real estate! She will put in the work and not stop until you have found what your dreams are made of.

Very unprofessional, first the agent wants to list our house 20,000 below market value. Then she takes horrible photos of the house not to mention when the house was first listed details about the house were missing. So after a few weeks we were fed up with how the house was listed we decided to take it off the market. It took them 6 months to pick up the lock box and sign. I do not recommend using them at all.

I have listed two homes with Vickie Griffin at Re/Max and I was totally satified with the service I received. I also purchased a home thru Vickie and it was a very smooth process. I would highly recommend Vickie or any of the other Reactors that work there (I am familiar with most of them) because they will work hard for you to insure your satisfaction. If I could I'd give this company -10000. We're from NY state and bought our home from a listing on MLS with listing agent as JEAN KENNEDY SHIVER We came down for a week looking for homes and found what we thought was a perfect home. We looked at it and it was absolutely beautiful...it was professional staged, which is no problem except when staging is used to cover pertinent flaws.( After researching the listing agent I found that she has a certification in staging.) I did have a house inspection done by a certified home inspector and also a termite inspection. There were no issues. So even though I offered 12,000 less than the listing price they accepted the offer which was a cash sale and 15 day closing. And I accepted it as an as is sale since the inspections showed no issues. Between the totally unethical actions of Jean Kennedy Shiver and the sellers Charlie and Shelly McBurnett I was totally taken to the cleaners and the home was misrepresented, I walked into my new home 1/2 after closing to a filthy disgusting home with dog feces, urine and vomit on my carpets, the home was covered in filth from the disgusting fridge to the absolutely disgusting bathrooms. It took me five hours alone to scrub the master shower. They broke two large windows in the front of the house, took EVERY landscaping rock on the property, removed the storage shed, left garbage all over the property, cut the electricity before the closing, lied about the condition of the pool knowing full well the foremost reason I purchased the home here in the south was because I have MS & RSD and my neurologist recommended getting away from the cold climate, getting a pool as hydrotherapy which would bring up my quality of life, only to find out that the liner of the pool leaks and will cost 4000 to fix. We were made aware that the lining is older and will need to be replaced at the cost of 1200 within 12 to 24 months and  $1200.00 wasn't a deal breaker BUT  both the agent JEAN KENNEDY SHIVER  and owners CHARLIE AND SHELLY MCBURNETT  knew the pool needed an immediate liner replacement and didn't disclose that. JEAN KENNEDY SHIVER  knew the owners have their own pool business and didn't disclose the true conditions of the pool and equipment (which when we moved in they took every piece of equipment and the pool was green, not a pellet of chlorine was left ). PLUS CHARLIE AND SHELLY MCBURNETT  LIED ON THE IRS FORM, THAT STATES NO BUSINESSES WERE RUN FROM THE PROPERTY AS THEY HAD TWO BUSINESSES RUN FROM THE HOME. CHARLIE POOL SERVICES AND C & S LANDSCAPING. JEAN KENNEDY SHIVER said in the listing, per batum, patio overlooking glistening pool, a blatant lie and misrepresentation. We notified JEAN KENNEDY SHIVER  immediately upon walking into the home 1/2 hour after closing to be ignored completely...even after several attempts. As the previous owners CHARLIE AND SHELLY MCBURNETT  were moving two of my new neighbours called her and told her they, CHARLES AND SHELLY MCBURNETT  and their crew were taking all the landscaping and shed and she did absolutely nothing about it totally ignoring those calls too. I did buy the home as is but that is exactly it...as is not what they left it. I have gotten no help nor empathy from REMAX of ALBANY, JEAN KENNEDY SHIVER  only a letter that denies any allegations of unethical practice. Please for your sake, the sake of your wallet, your physical and mental state...DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE OR THIS COMPANY TO BUY YOUR HOME. YOU WILL BE SO SO SORRY!!! THEY  ARE UNETHICAL, will stage a property to look so beautiful only to find, the staging was done with the intentions of covering up pertinent flaws. I am so disgusted at the lack of ethics and honesty that this company has.

Certified Roofing is definitely my number 1 go to company for any future roofing needs. They were friendly, prompt, professional and courteous from the first phone call I made to Adam B, thru the last email confirming my job was complete, (Bryan). Even tho my job was a small one, they treated me as tho it was their number one priority from start to finish.

Unfortunately, I opened my mailbox to the dreadful cancellation letter from my insurance company for my roof being 15 years old. I called Certified Roofing for an estimate and they sent out Adam Brack to walk my roof. I could tell Adam was honest because he actually told me that my roof was in great shape and basically he hated that I have to replace a perfectly good roof. He also offered to write up a certificate saying that my roof was good to provide to my insurance company to try and buy me some time. This wasn't acceptable to them, so I proceeded to get my roof replaced. Out of the few estimates, Certified wasn't the cheapest, but they weren't too much more, and I got more for my money. Certified Roofings quote gave us more vents than others plus they use all of the parts from the same company to make the warranty process easy. Adam was very helpful through the process and always got back to us in a timely manner.
After getting the roof done, we had a bit of trouble getting the wind mitigation through their vendor. Michelle was always helpful and seemed to try to get the vendor to do their job, but they never contacted me. Thankfully, I gave Michelle the name of the last inspector of our home, she set it up with him, and he was out the following day! I proceeded to send the information to my insurance company and they renewed my policy. Obviously my experience wasn't perfect, but I give 5 stars since they seem fair, were up front with me and always seemed to do what they could to make things right.

He and his crew did an outstanding job installing our new Worthouse Roof and responding to our questions. Great experience ! Best company to deal with in entire Orlando .. hands down ! If you need a full replacement to your roof at NO COST to you, you have to call this gentleman , he's the one who got me approved ! Great customer service , he handled the whole claim since the first phone call, and was present when the insurance sent their adjuster and he made sure to point out all those damages he found while the first inspection .. oh did I mention it was for free ? Yes, free inspection , I couldn't even believe it when he told me so, especially that he knocked my door and asked me if I ever had my roof inspected before .. also, I didn't even bother myself and went to the Building Division to apply for the permit after I got approved, he did that for me as well . The crew was perfect, less talk and more work , started around 7 am and finished the job same day , cleaned the area and left the place neat like if they were never there ! I HIGHLY recommend them and will use them again in case of any damage related to my roof .

Zack, Greg, Roger and Sam have all been great and extremely helpful. Zack and Greg went up and beyond with a recent repair and ended up staying (very) late until the job was done! They could’ve very easily stopped what they were doing, as it was past 5pm on a Friday night and came back the next day, but they did not….they worked until 9pm until the job was done. In my experience, you’d be very unlikely to find this level of professionalism and courtesy anywhere else. Nate is likewise, a valuable asset to the company and has been very helpful and personable whenever I have called. I highly recommend this business.

Terrible customer service. They promise to return call to give an estimate but there is no effort to get in touch. Previous on site tech repair was efficient and fast. Very pleased with their service, but customer service is a joke.

My heat pump was freezing up around the outside about 3/4 of the way up. A tech came out from Air Services on Thur.  I needed Freon and he cleaned my filters.  So he said everything else looked good.  So $259.70 latter he leaves.  It was on the warmer side for a day and it ran great.  Once it got below 36 it froze up again but this time it froze up the whole way.  I called back on Sat and left a message.  I got a call back and was told he could come out but it would be overtime pay!!! REALLY!!!! It's not my fault your tech guy didn't fix it right after he charged me $259.70.  He told me they were opened on Monday Christmas Eve day until 12 PM  and they could come out then. I get a call on Monday morning and I'm told that even though they were opened there was no Tech there to do service calls and if someone did come out it would be overtime.  Really!!!! I don't understand this logic.  I paid $170.00 labor and it is not even fixed.  I made an appointment for Wed after Christmas. The more I though about the situations the more upset I got upset. I have cancelled my appointment on Wed and have called someone else to come out.  I gave one stars because  it wouldn't allow me to post with zero stars marked.  What do you all care if I have to run my electricity up by running on emergency heat setting.

From the the first visit they were friendly and helpful, giving me all my options for a new furnace. They even went out of their way to help me remove an old water heater. They cleaned up and went over everything with me. Most important, they were honest, courteous and timely.

Our air conditioning went out on the hottest week in summer. They fit us in & replaced our coil. When it still wasn’t working right they came back on a Friday night and worked until it was cold in our house. Cant thank them enough. Excellent techs, service, & pricing! Thanks guys!

These guys absolutely know what they're doing. Fast, efficient, cost effective glass repair. Needed a sliding glass door serviced and in about 15 minutes (or less) they had the door off, rollers replaced, tracks and parts properly lubed, door re-installed, and it was done. Completely painless. 5 Stars all the way.

Gave me an accurate time frame for when my patio door would be fixed. Called me the day before they came and gave me an accurate time frame of when they’d be able to come over and do it. Came in got it done quick and make sure that everything was fine before they left. Definitely recommend

Had a broken window.  Initially I thought the whole window would have to be replaced.  Found out that the portion of the broken window could be replaced without changing the whole window itself.  Chris came out and replaced it within 30 mins.  Looks like new.  Appreciate you guys.  Will recommend to anyone that has a similar issue.  Awesome job.  😎

Randy helped us with our glass replacement in our condo. A seal had broken and fogged up the glass. He was very easy to communicate with over text and telephone and email. First rate customer service! We got our glass ordered and replaced within three weeks and we are thrilled. Definitely call Randy to help you. Thank you so much for all your awesome service!

Guy showed up, did quick clean work replacing 3 window panes and it’s been a month and I havent noticed anything amiss. Would definitely recommend them

PuroClean was hired by our insurance adjuster after we suffered a fire in our storage unit. What I didn’t know, was they contracted our job out to a local entity that ended up causing more damage and heartache than the fire itself. In fact, they went out of their way to destroy some of our possessions.

The fire occurred at the end of September 2023 and to this day, despite being continuously promised one, we still have not seen any report regarding what was done to our possessions.

They destroyed items that were not even in the fire, or damaged by water. They indiscriminately threw out personal Zip drives with irreplaceable photos, actually broke into my briefcase and cleared the contents. Again, these items were not damaged in any way but they badgered us to let them take everything so they could “wipe clean the outside of these items to remove any cross-contamination”.

We complained to our insurance company and PuroClean outright lied over and over again. We are absolutely devastated.

I would steer well clear of PuroClean.

Some of these a puroclean Companies are great but I thought I would leave an honest review regarding Puroclean Markham Scarborough and my time working there .I was the lead Technician there for 2 years before I left and I never had any issues with customers at all witch I’m sure puroclean could agree with .
My Reason for leaving was the owner Gregory Efstathfeu , You couldn’t trust a word that came out of his mouth.
My complaints were never addressed.
First and foremost he’s racist and we all know with this business you deal with a number of different clients from all over the world , The things he would say the message I got use to make me think he shouldn’t be in this business at all . I couldn’t do much because at the end of the day he signed my paycheques.
The final straw that got me to leave tho was the fact I would see him to fraudulent mold results after charging the customer for tests knowing the fact there were no issues or misdiagnosing issues and reporting to insurance companies that it was the customers fault . That was never the case I thought maybe if I leave this review here someone can actually look into him but I doubt that .
There’s lots of good purocleans out there but puroclean Markham Scarborough is definitely not one them .
There more then welcome to reach out to me , and maybe for once you guys will take care of this issue and have a good honest owner especially with a franchise like this .
I may sound bitter but I kept lots of things and proof and I told him many times what he was doing was wrong all I got was laid off with nothing be addressed.

Excellent I would highly reccomend. Sadly this is our second time with a clean up service from water damage. When I rang our insurance company I told them that I would not allow the the company we used a few years ago Into my home. They sent Puroclean and the service, experience, promtness, courtesy was amazing. Remember if you are in an emergency and you call your insurance you do have a choice of who to have in your home.

Didn't even want to give it one star but had to in order to comment. We were going to go with a different company but PuroClean assured me that their price would be in the same range as them. Assured me on at least three occasions actually. Estimate given to do emergency cleanup was doubled when submitted to my insurance company and when I phoned to question them about it they denied having ever said that! St. Catharines branch.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wow-what can I say!!! Thank you so much, Todd Wilton in the Durham Region, for coming by our home and helping us out with a mold issue. I emailed PuroClean to help us out with the damage from a leak and Todd responded right away and once I sent him some pictures he offered to stop by to access on his time. We were so amazed that he would do this for us. He made great recommendations. We HIGHLY recommend PuroClean (Todd)!!!!

I had my winter service maintenence on my ac/heat unit today.  Cody the technician was very professional, knowledgeable and helpful.  He explained what he planned to do on my unit before starting the job.  And when he finished the job, he explained what all was done.  He answered all my questions I asked.  I Would highly recommend Cody and Aire Serv to everyone.

I called Aire Serv this morning as soon as I realized my unit was not cooling. They said it would be late in the evening but around 2:45, two awesome young men were at work. My house was feeling great 🥶❄️😰around 4:00.

I want to give a big thank you to airserv. I wanna thank Matt and Doug for coming out early in the morning to look at replacement of my old unit. They were very kind and were able to give me estimates for everything I would need. They offered a financing option as well. I am also thankful that we were able to get parts and installation done in under 1.5 weeks. Jason and Mikey came out on install day and did a wonderful job explaining what the plan was and configuring the best set up for my home. These guys are awesome! Had my outdoor unit go out and had a part replaced. The technician was super nice and informed me of what had happened.
