Working with Pam and Gary for  the replacement windows for our home was a wonderful experience. When their crew came out to do the install we were more than 100% pleased with their quality of work and mannerism. All debris was  loaded and carried away.....and they cleaned the windows
removing all stickers both inside & out and everything sparkled.

Very friendly and professional. Very knowledgeable. I had an estimate done for a glass shower and they showed up same day gave a better estimate than 3 other companies and made sure i knew exactly what i was getting and was very clear in hearing what and how i wanted it. They gave me a 2 week out date and were ready to install within a week. (A week early) showed up shortly after confirming that they coild do the job that day and had it done quickly. It looks great   i am very glad i chose them. I also will be using them again for a few window projects i have around the house.  Thank you

Easy to contact and schedule appt.  We were redoing a bath and needed a new shower glass door.  They provided exactly what we were wanting a trackless door with additional glass wall.  Very pleased with product and service.

This company is the best. Their pricing is reasonable and the repair didn't  take long at all. My husband brought another car 3 days later.

Didn't call to make appointments just showed up and it was on the days I was closed. Then finally came almost 2 months later. When repairman showed up didn't even introduce himself or speak. Just came in and started working. Can't believe businesses operate like this. So sad!

Premier Pools & Spas

We have enjoyed working with PPS from the beginning.  Amy was our sales person and she listened to our wants and needs and made it happen.   Our Project Manager, Josh was very knowledgeable and had great communication during the build.   If I ever had a question or concern, all I had to do was call.   The entire process was smooth and easy.   We were very fortunate that all the cards fell in place for us with the timeline.  We had great weather that kept the build on track without any delays.  All of the contractors used seemed to be very good and respectful of our property.   I will continue to recommend PPS to anyone who inquired about building a pool.

I could not be more pleased with the end result of our pool installation. The backyard was a complete transformation, and working with a company like Premier was refreshing. The entire staff was awesome but Justin was a standout! He was top notch. He was very attentive, quick to respond and kept the project moving forward. The contractors they hired were also awesome and very hardworking. We had a great experience with Premier Pools and would highly recommend them. Premier Pools and Spas was an Awesome company to use to install my very custom lakeside pool!  With all of the setback restrictions and the unique shape of our lot made for a very precise plan and they nailed it!  Every inch was used and our pool is perfectly placed in the backyard. Everything I wanted was designed into reality. We have an extra large lounging ledge, a nice roomy hot tub, an in water table with stools, lights, custom benches along the sides and the best feature is the stunning infinity edge.
Their contractors were friendly and very helpful with answering my questions. They kept us informed of the work schedule which I appreciated. I knew I was in great hands with Mark, Mike, Josh, Brian, Carlos and the office team. You’ll be so happy when you get to enjoy your dream!  Can you tell we love our pool and spa!

I give PPS five stars from beginning to end . Josh and team communicated without delay to any and all questions or concerns. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a pool. There are always hick ups with any build and Josh handled them professionally and didn’t try to talk us out of what we expected, he made it right . Great company to work with.

Ace Handyman Services

Chris did such a great job installing my new kitchen faucet and another project of removing an old bracket from the front of my house! I really appreciated his mix of approachability and professionalism! Would give ten stars if I could!

Chris did a great job on several projects - the most involved being replacement of a set of steps going down into the lake. He was on time, did excellent work, and was just a nice guy to talk to. I would definitely use them again.

I had my kitchen/living room wall cut out and remodeled by having a 8ft counter top placed on the cut out wall. Wow, kitchen looks totally different with counter top, Nice Job.  Carl did a great job and I will certainly have ACE Handy-LakeNorman for next 3 remodel projects.
Next project.  Move washer/dryer plumbing from kitchen to garage.  Again Carl did a fantastic job.
3rd project.  My existing attic stair/ladder since 1975 needed replacement, Graham and Lance came down and replaced my old wooden stairs to a new Aluminum one.  Wow what a difference. Thanks to both of you - good job!

This is the 2nd time we've called Ace for work. This time was for fence repair that was damaged from a previous storm.  Ace Handyman was just as amazing as the 1st time.  Scheduling was a breeze and Chris came within the week. He was so professional and knowledgeable. He took time to show me the problem and explain the best fix for the job. All repairs were done quickly and efficiently. Ace has customer service perfected all around!

Chris was fantastic. He showed up on time. He was professional and polite. He got the bathroom fan install done quickly and effectively. We will ask for him again on future work!

South Georgia Homes

South Georgia Custom Homes built our house. I am absolutely pleased with the quality and the craftsmanship that they put into our stunning house. From interior design to exterior landscaping, their attention to detail still amazes me one year after our closing. While many new home builders are more interested in getting a home built then they are in the quality of their work, that has NOT been our experience with South Georgia Custom Homes. They were attentive and responsive to us throughout our build, pushing hard to ensure we closed timely while not compromising the quality of their work. They took the time to answer our countless questions as we moved through the process. As with all new home builds there were superficial punch list warranty items that needed to be resolved. South Georgia Custom Homes promptly sent out quality sub-contractors who resolved any issues. In fact, one subcontractor advised us of a small broken exterior vent situated high on the side of our house that none of us would have seen, including our builder. Even though our warranty period had just passed, South Georgia Custom Homes got right on top of the issue to resolve it for us. So often, we deal with companies who do not care about their customers, but South Georgia Custom Homes absolutely does. They didn't just build our house.... they built us our HOME and it is without a doubt, PERFECT, of incredible quality and superior design. I highly recommend South Georgia Custom Homes to any future buyer. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Amazing work South Georgia Custom Homes! Thank you so much!

Almost a year ago we built our forever home with South Georgia Custom Homes. I do not have enough wonderful things to say about the professionalism and commitment to service we received. Darren was extremely prompt and attentive during the building process, and has continued to be so in the year following as minor expected issues have arose. It is evident they take great pride in the work they do. I’m so thankful for our home and appreciate the commitment from these professionals to the work they provided.

I had the honor of meeting with a couple of their supervisors during a walkthrough. Very friendly, great values, and incredible skill both in their knowledge of the job and in communicating with homeowners. I learned some useful information regarding home maintenance and a bit of the building process. If my family ever looks to build a house, they’re the company I would like to work with. We had our home built by South Georgia in the Whispering Pines community two years ago. During the build, Amy and her team addressed any issues that came up (one being missing framing for a door during the framing portion of the home). During our walk through I was dissatisfied with the judges panel in our dining room. After not getting the answers I was looking for from the construction team I reached out to Amy who then came over to address the issue.

At our one year mark we submitted a warranty list of things that needed to be addressed, or at least looked at. They quickly came out and set up the contractors needed to do repairs.

Just this year we decided to sell our home. During the inspection something came up that the buyers were concerned about. We had addressed it while the home was under warranty so I reached back out to Amy. Not only was she willing to provide paperwork, she sent out another contractor to take a look and write a report for the new buyers.

Long story short, South Georgia bent over backwards to help us, even after we were out of our warranty period. They were phenomenal with communication even when they may have had a delay getting someone out. Amy was an amazing person to work with and someone I would feel comfortable reaching out to in the future if necessary!

We purchased a home built by South Georgia Home and I feel like the service has gone down hill as the year have gone by. We purchased in the Acworth community, I have several warranty issues that are not being addressed and I was advised that they would not be. After 4 months I had a drainage causing ice to form on the sidewalk , and I was advised that it is not under warranty. I warned them over and over that someone is going to get hurt, they didn’t care. Working with Amy and Keith was  an useless, dealing with the low quality of products used in a home are definitely not up to par for this price point. It makes me sad to say this but I can’t recommend them as a builder.

PuroClean Fire & Damage Specialists

Puroclean did an outstanding job of drying our our carpet after a water leak in our home. They were fast, thorough, knowledgable and the technicians in my home were courteous and accommodating. They exceeded our expectations and gave expert advice and assisted us with the next steps in the process of getting our home back in shape quickly.

PuroClean went out of their way to explain what they were doing and how they coordinate with the air quality testing company. We had water damage-related mold removal. The technicians were extremely pleasant and answered all of our questions that we had; before, during, and after the process. The owner, Bruce Powell, followed up on work performed and helped reassure the buyer of my house with the company's guarantee.  I am highly recommending this company!

I highly recommend PuroClean. We had water damage in our laundry room and a bedroom. After starting a homeowners claim, PuroClean was recommended by my insurance company. They called me within an hour of starting the claim, and arrived an hour later. That night they took moisture readings to determine the extent of the damage. They ripped out damaged carpet and tile flooring, along with the carpet tack strips and baseboards. They also helped me determine the root cause, and cut the sheetrock to access the plumbing in the laundry room that backed up. I had a lot of questions and they took their time answering everything. They came back the next morning and setup dehumidifiers and fans in both rooms, and they ran continuously for 2-3 days to dry everything out. The technicians stopped by twice to check that things were going well, and then removed all of the equipment. Even the payment process through my insurance company was simple and straightforward. Highly recommended!

We recently used PuroClean for water and mold damage in our office.  I would highly recommend this company.  From the time we met with them until the job was complete, they were totally honest, dependable and knowledgeable about our situation and what we needed to do. They listened to our needs and helped us save money in repairs by the way they handled the clean-up.  They are awesome!!

Thanksgiving Day we came home to a major leak in our finished basement. It was completely destroyed.  Our insurance company contacted PuroClean,  a mitigation company.  James and Doug came to our home on  Thanksgiving evening and answered our numerous questions and tried to keep us calm.  James and Doug worked for days removing water and mold from our basement; including removing ceilings, sheet rock, carpet, cabinets, etc.   When done, the basement was ready for reconstruction.  They kept us informed throughout the process.

Paul Davis Restoration of Augusta/Aiken

Unfortunately these reviews only go up to five stars. I would hands down give a solid 10.  Of our house was obliterated by an enormous oak tree a week ago.  Took two days to remove the tree and initial restoration. Roofers unsure how to tarp it.  Their intentions were to leave it open for a week or two until the inspection cleared, the structure sound to start putting limited bracing in.

I reached out to many companies late on a Saturday afternoon Paul Davis responded within 30 minutes and was able to preposition a boom that evening and start working immediately the next day - literally saving thousands in water damages.

They came with a full crew. They came with the boom they had generators accessible and not dependent on our electricity.  The team discussed how to tackle the project and the safest manner and executed.  It took him the entire day to tarp but at the end of the day I wouldn't have hired anybody else!

For both of our major home repairs Paul Davis Restoration has gone above and beyond with their service.  For your home improvements and more they should be your first choice. In June of 2018, a tree fell on my house during an evening storm and I called Paul Davis Restoration of Augusta to respond.
Overall, the initial response team is the only positive interaction from this whole ordeal. After the initial response, however, it was extremely hard to get them out to perform repairs, taking over 2 months to finally complete.

The sheetrock work and painting came out nice once completed, but will need to be redone due to the atrocious roof work. A week after the installation, it started leaking (2018), again after 2 years (2020), and yet again during the 4th year (2022).  It was at this point Mark from Paul Davis stopped returning my calls.

All repairs performed by Paul Davis’s “roofing experts” have been ineffective to say the least. But after having a second roofing company come out, it was discovered just HOW ineffective.

It was revealed that some repairs were made with bathroom caulk. No ice and water shield were applied to the valleys on the initial installation, causing the decking to be comprised and needing replacement. Certain  points in the valleys had joints being met at the center of valley. They did not replace the old vents on the roof, but reinstalled the old vents, many of which were damaged. The roofing shingles were ripped instead of being cut by the Paul Davis team. Lastly (at least lastly to yet be discovered), the clean up behind them left nails in the yard and damage to the gutters. The quality of the install and repairs on the roof from Paul Davis are amateur at best.

This roof is 4 years old and we’ve already spent thousands on repairs due to the incompetency of Paul Davis‘s Restoration  team located in Augusta. I cannot imagine myself in any situation where I would recommend them to anybody, just recommend to run the other way.

I would recommend this company to my friends.  They were in my home for several weeks and were always very professional.  They always cleaned up and did not leave a mess.  The workers were easy to communicate with. The quality of their work was excellent.  Mark Hutchison showed a genuine desire to work with his customers and make sure they are satisfied.  I would call on them again!

The crew arrived quickly and took all the time necessary to mitigate the water damage and potential mold issues.  We are now waiting for the next phase of the repair (reconstructing the walls and ceiling in the garage, to be followed by repainting).  So far, we have been very pleased with the speed and professionalism of the crew.

Paul Davis Restoration of Rock Hill

After filing an insurance claim for a leak found in the crawlspace of my home, my insurance company assigned Paul Davis Restoration for mitigation and repairs. What I thought would just be a simple repair under the house, was actually a major repair inside as well, involving sub flooring, sheet rock, flooring and paint.
The mitigation team members were polite, courteous, prompt and knowledgeable. They determined water damage inside the house, which I was unaware of. The drying process took about a week and they came to the house each day to determine the levels of moisture to ensure drying was complete.
Contractor, Grant Haskins and his crew, maintained a quick timeframe for repairs. Our belongings were treated with care and they kept their workspace clean. My kids and I stayed home through the renovations and repairs and everyone was more than agreeable to accommodate our school and work schedule. Within a few days, the area was restored just as it was before and I’m more than appreciative to Paul Davis and their team. I would recommend Paul Davis to anyone needing or wanting renovations or repairs. It’s an extremely overwhelming and anxious process, but from start to finish, they provided excellent customer service, quality workmanship and attention to detail, making the process as seamless and as a pleasant as possible.

Grant Haskins (Project Manager), and his crew did a fantastic job on restoring my house after a flood.  He was great in dealing with my insurance adjuster, getting the work scheduled quickly, and keeping me informed every step of the way.  The crews were professional, on-time, and very respectful of my property.  They left my property looking better than when I bought it!  The work done was of exceptional quality.  I could not have asked for a better experience to come out of a miserable situation.  I highly recommend Paul Davis Restoration, Grant, and his team to anyone who is facing the need for restoration or any kind of remodel work.  They are professional, expert at what they do, and a true pleasure to work with.

The work done on restoring my home after a water pipe burst was absolutely amazing. They filed the estimates with the insurance company of the damages and cost to repair. The personnel sent to lay the floors, paint my home, replace counter top, take out ruined cabinetry to repair was hassle-free all done by professionals.  It would have honestly been a 5 star rating had it not been for the lack of communication regarding scheduling of work and expectation of contractors. As such this will not allow 4.5 stars as this one issue was not major, but was of concern as I had a young female in the home [I worked during the day] and wanted
to ensure everyone's care and accountability since we were not required to vacate the home during repair. Great job Justin and team as I am more than happy with the quality of work and professionalism. I have a new and improved home thanks to Paul Davis.

We had a wonderful experience the Paul Davis crews - from mitigation, demolition, cabinets, flooring, movers to cleaning.  We had a water leak from our dishwasher and had to get our hardwood floors replaced.  Everyone we interacted with was super nice and did quality work!  I understand that we had one of the toughest demolitions (removing old floors) that they had ever seen and the team worked super hard to get done on time.  I can't say enough about the team at Paul Davis and would highly recommend them (if you ever need them)!!!

We recently had a pipe burst on our second floor causing significant damage in our floor and the ceiling of our garage. Paul Davis Restoration of Charlotte

We had issues with leakage from our shower.  Paul Davis was assigned through insurance. They assisted us fairly well in the demolition/restoration process.  They were a bit difficult to get ahold of but were helpful in talking through the best ways to address the problem and minimize costs to us, and did an adequate job on the demo.  They assured me they would help with the shower install/replacement as well, however as soon as I signed a "work complete" form for the demo, I never heard back from them.  They would not return my calls.  Finally 6 months later (after living with a hole in our bathroom and having to find another contractor to fix it), I get an invoice (the first one I had received from them) and a text saying "you owe us money or we will call our attorneys for insurance fraud".
They may do adequate work, and hopefully others had better experiences, be we won't be using Paul Davis again.

Highly recommend!! The CLT team is superb! We hired them to refurbish our laundry room.  They handled coverage and pricing conversations with our insurance company, helped us make selections and ordering flooring and paint, and even went above and beyond to make sure all previous water damage was repaired before doing full restoration.  They were transparent with quotes and pricing and were so responsive and supportive throughout the whole process.  They clearly take pride in their work, the end result looks better than when the home was built.  They ensured not just customer satisfaction, but sincerely exceeding expectations.  So glad we went with this company, it made this whole process stress-free!

Our entire condo building was flooded Christmas Eve and I have been working with Paul Davis, specifically Chad for that last several months and they have been great!  Chad is extremely responsive and has gone above and beyond to get my unit back to better shape than it was!  It has been a difficult and complicated project and I have been very pleased with the work that has been done and if something wasn't how I wanted it they were quick to fix/rework.

I contacted Paul Davis to mitigate tobacco smoke odor and residue in a home.  They were a pleasure to work with from start to finish.  They set up equipment promptly, checked and evaluated, and adapted the treatment plan when needed.  Josh Martin was my mitigation manager, and he was extremely customer-focused and attentive.  The final cost was very fair and the smoke issues are fully resolved.  While I hope that I do not need mitigation work done anytime soon, I would not hesitate to use Paul Davis again.
