PuroClean Canada

PuroClean was hired by our insurance adjuster after we suffered a fire in our storage unit. What I didn’t know, was they contracted our job out to a local entity that ended up causing more damage and heartache than the fire itself. In fact, they went out of their way to destroy some of our possessions. The fire occurred at the end of September 2023 and to this day, despite being continuously promised one, we still have not seen any report regarding what was done to our possessions. They destroyed items that were not even in the fire, or damaged by water. They indiscriminately threw out personal Zip drives with irreplaceable photos, actually broke into my briefcase and cleared the contents. Again, these items were not damaged in any way but they badgered us to let them take everything so they could “wipe clean the outside of these items to remove any cross-contamination”. We complained to our insurance company and PuroClean outright lied over and over again. We are absolutely devastated. I would steer well clear of PuroClean.

Some of these a puroclean Companies are great but I thought I would leave an honest review regarding Puroclean Markham Scarborough and my time working there .I was the lead Technician there for 2 years before I left and I never had any issues with customers at all witch I’m sure puroclean could agree with . My Reason for leaving was the owner Gregory Efstathfeu , You couldn’t trust a word that came out of his mouth. My complaints were never addressed. First and foremost he’s racist and we all know with this business you deal with a number of different clients from all over the world , The things he would say the message I got use to make me think he shouldn’t be in this business at all . I couldn’t do much because at the end of the day he signed my paycheques. The final straw that got me to leave tho was the fact I would see him to fraudulent mold results after charging the customer for tests knowing the fact there were no issues or misdiagnosing issues and reporting to insurance companies that it was the customers fault . That was never the case I thought maybe if I leave this review here someone can actually look into him but I doubt that . There’s lots of good purocleans out there but puroclean Markham Scarborough is definitely not one them . There more then welcome to reach out to me , and maybe for once you guys will take care of this issue and have a good honest owner especially with a franchise like this . I may sound bitter but I kept lots of things and proof and I told him many times what he was doing was wrong all I got was laid off with nothing be addressed.

Excellent I would highly reccomend. Sadly this is our second time with a clean up service from water damage. When I rang our insurance company I told them that I would not allow the the company we used a few years ago Into my home. They sent Puroclean and the service, experience, promtness, courtesy was amazing. Remember if you are in an emergency and you call your insurance you do have a choice of who to have in your home.

Didn't even want to give it one star but had to in order to comment. We were going to go with a different company but PuroClean assured me that their price would be in the same range as them. Assured me on at least three occasions actually. Estimate given to do emergency cleanup was doubled when submitted to my insurance company and when I phoned to question them about it they denied having ever said that! St. Catharines branch.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wow-what can I say!!! Thank you so much, Todd Wilton in the Durham Region, for coming by our home and helping us out with a mold issue. I emailed PuroClean to help us out with the damage from a leak and Todd responded right away and once I sent him some pictures he offered to stop by to access on his time. We were so amazed that he would do this for us. He made great recommendations. We HIGHLY recommend PuroClean (Todd)!!!!
