David worked hard and installed our closet doors beautifully. We have an old house and nothing is level so it was a challenge. Ace Handyman Services performs excellent, high quality work and the technicians are always friendly and very knowledgeable. The inspection/estimate process is quick and easy. Great value for the services performed. I am so happy that I was referred to Ace!

I can't say enough positive about Ace Handyman Services. Dallas came out with days of my inquiry to look at my needed repairs. Kevin spent 4 days at my house working through a long list (dry wall repair, door trim replacement, tile repair, attic insulation and more). On top of the great work Kevin did, I found myself in a real bind because another workman was giving me the run around for over a month to do some facia repairs. I told Dallas about my issue and he sent David out a few days later to fix that. The work done by both of them was terrific. Even better, they all showed up on time every time and communicated all the way through. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I've already referred my parents to Ace Handyman and absolutely recommend them.

Matt was great. He arrived on time and was very knowledgeable. He even made my dog feel comfortable! What I appreciate most is that he was very honest. He told me that my problem is more likely a roof issue and therefore not something he could address. A more unscrupulous person would have taken advantage of my ignorance, but he told me the truth. Since it was a consultation, he didn't even charge me anything, just told me what next steps I need to take. It was so refreshing to not be scammed or cheated and I'll definitely be reaching out when I do have some tasks that he or his team can accomplish.

Dallas as usual was prompt and took care of the repairs efficiently and professionally. He is friendly and patient and made a good friend of our young German shepherd who remembers him from prior visits. appreciate Dallas’ patience with her puppy enthusiasm. Great work.

This a great honest company is your looking for small work to be done around your house.  I needed a lock installed on a storm door that had been off since Katrina.  The technician came to give me a estimate and advised me to return the lock and purchase a different one.  The ease of scheduling was so great as they were very understanding in me having to make several cancellations. I was so happy with the job performed and the clean up after .  The technician knew what he was doing and experience.   As a female I didn't feel taking advantage of with the pricing.  I love that they are employees of the company and not sun contractors I will definitely use them again!

PuroClean Restoration Services

Sump Pump Failure,   Steve Marceau came out and surveyed the mess,  water everywhere!   Troy and his wonderful workers came out and began the restoration,   They were all so polite and friendly and made me feel a bit more calm.  The Best group of guys and gals,  they were efficient and worked very hard!!!  I would recommend this company to anyone.  Thank You PuroClean for your wonderful work.

Our sump pump failed and we ended up with over 4” of water in our crawl space. Puroclean responded quickly. Jesse and his crew made a quick inspection and began pumping water out immediately. They installed several large fans and a huge dehumidifier to dry the area. It took several days of the equipment running but it worked! Great job and we highly recommend this company. They where also considerate of the traffic area leading to the crawl. They where very protective of the carpet and walls. Steve the company owner even called several times to check on the progress and to ask if we had any concerns.

As soon as we noticed water in our basement, we reached out to Puroclean and they arrived at our house in less than an hour.  They started the restorative process immediately.  I was very pleased with their professionalism and courtesy.  Drew was the point person and was in constant communication with me throughout the process.  He was a pleasure to work with.  Our basement problems began on a Sunday morning and we were back to enjoying our basement on Saturday (less than a week).  Great company, great service.  I would highly recommend working with Drew. The main water pipe entering the house ruptured  flooding our finished basement with 3 inches of water throughout. Puroclean arrived within a half hour of the city water department shutting off the water and the plumber repairing the broken pipe. Puroclean immediately got to work pumping out the water and beginning the clean-up. They were totally hands on, involving us very little other than answering questions and helping with a few decisions. The project lasted 2 1/2 continuous  days, then parts of 2 more days until all the blowers, dehumidifiers, and air filters were removed. They were very diligent about mold prevention and removed or cut away all materials with that potential. They worked seamlessly with our insurance company. The same team worked the entire project, and arrived promptly at 8:30 am each morning. The team was very friendly and easy to work with. We couldn’t have been more pleased with their work. We highly recommend Puroclean-Shelby to anyone in our area with a similar emergency.

Due to a sump pump failure in early May, our finished basement in Rochester took in a great deal of water. I contacted 3 restoration companies to which I was referred. Joe from Puroclean was by far and away the most professional, upbeat,  and reassuring person to whom I spoke. He visited my home promptly, surveyed the damage, helped me understand the process involved, and estimated the restoration cost. By the next morning, he had a team of 4 men, including himself, working in our basement to manage the problem. He uncovered a few other issues in the process, and pointed us in the right direction towards addressing those concerns as well. All the guys went above in beyond in helping us.   While the sump pump failure was very unfortunate, I do feel really lucky that we happened upon Puroclean to restore our basement.  Thanks to everyone who worked on our home - I'm really grateful for your help!

The Stairway Shop

I ordered 2 large box newels and both were very good quality, as described on the website, packaged well, arrived in pristine shape and more quickly than I expected.  I have no complaints at all.  Really pleased overall.  The price wasn’t the absolute cheapest, but I felt more confident in what I was getting vs. some of the competition.  I was pleased that my 2 different sized newel posts did end up matching styles perfectly.

We bought the kit with the stairs.  All components were substantial, made well and high quality.  We stained and poly'd the stairs.  The whole thing came out great and we love it.

the Stairway Shop had precisely the hand rail I needed. The existing garage attic stair railing does not extend past the attic floor. took some poking around on the site to find, but 'the Skylark Balance Rail" option was the right one.  sturdy, not too difficult to install. didn't want a full cage, just the rail. Perfect!

It looks like The Stairway Shop is no longer offering factory-built library ladders, but only ladder kits now, so I don't know how useful this review will be:
Overall, the product is good quality, and the price was excellent. Choosing the factory-stained option was a mistake. The choice of wood stains was very limited, and the walnut stain arrived looking very different from the picture on-line, so I wound up completely disassembling the ladder, sanding it, and applying 4 coats of a different stain.
There were only 2 rung supports for the 9 steps, and the supports float about 1" below the rungs, so those seem pretty useless.
Though the big cast iron hardware like the upper & lower rollers were black, all the screws and accessories in the ladder were all shiny stainless steel. Since I had taken the whole thing apart to restain it anyway, I also took the opportunity to paint all those screws and other metal components black to match, but I feel like when you choose black as the hardware color, everything should be black.
No wood screws were provided to attach the top shelf, and the pre-drilled holes were not countersunk, which you would need since the top shelf would necessarily need to use flat head screws to create a flush surface.
Upon reassembly, the ladder is slightly warped. This may be because of the whole disassembly, stripping, refinishing, and reassembly, which I kind of feel like I shouldn't have had to do in the first place, but still, that's on me.
It may sound like I'm complaining a lot, but for custom size library ladder with an extra-long track, the price truly was amazing, and I had been shopping around for a good couple months weighing the various options, and this really was a fantastic deal despite the extra work I had to put into it in to get it looking exactly the way I thought it should.

The stars are heavy duty as advertised.  They work well and the instructions for installation and use were accurate and easy to follow.  Our only issue was with the shipping.  One of the lips that seals the hatch to the ceiling wall must have gotten bumped.  There was a significant bend at the corner and part of one side.  It wasn't worth it to us to return.  We gently returned it close to original shape.  When we repaint we will use some touch up paint where the bend chipped the paint.  Great stairs though, easy to use and very sturdy.

Got a windshield replacement on my Honda Civic LX. Very nice gentlemen, super quick service and at a very a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back if I ever need their service again!

Great price, excellent work.  Tiger Glass replaced side panels on my front door and a broken insulated window.  It saved me from replacing the entire window on my house and looks original.

Glass Doctor of Rome

Technician very nice, friendly and knowledgeable.  Came out and measured, ordered the window and came and back installed it.  Cleaned up everything after and no surprise on pricing.  Great job

Wife went there to get an estimate. She waited after talking to the person and...hey after 45 minutes the front office person said I thought we were done and they will call my wife back. She did not even get my wife's phone number.  Anyway, it's just 45 minutes of wasted time. I never review any business establishments but this one is for the record.

I had an appointment but called early to reschedule. They wouldn't give a time for a reschedule, only a tentative date of July 6th, saying they would call at a later date with a time. Never got the call, so I called them for an appointment time, and they said they lost all our information in a system update and that they weren't even working out of Rome on the 6th but rather Chattanooga, AND that the price suddenly went up by about another $40 with no explanation. I'll take my business elsewhere.

They kept me informed and the service guys were friendly and professional at all times.

These guys were wonderful! They were communicative, timely, and professional. The shower doors are beautiful and they matched our hardware perfectly. When they hit a roadblock, they went above and beyond to resolve the issue for us. Grateful for them!!!

PuroClean Certified Restoration Specialist

They did work in my home after Ida after settling with my insurance companies for over 100K they are now trying to sue me for an additional 26K. Not only that but they claim to have done work that my family and I did and have proof of doing. We also never got the certificate stating that they has done the mold thing that they do after flooding. It's a complete joke.

Puroclean helped my family when we recently had our refrigerator line break. Water was everywhere, but to my amazement, they were able to dry EVERYTHING! Michael Keppner and his crew did an excellent job of mitigation and remediation on our water damage. We had damage to all of our flooring and a lot of walls. Puro Clean came in and totally helped us out. Communication was excellent, whether with Michael himself or his very professional work crew. I had a roof leak at my property that flooded my closet. I called and had someone show up to my house to assess the damage and then never heard anything again. I called multiple times and kept getting transferred to someone that would not answer the phone for multiple days. When I finally got the project manager on the phone and told him of the situation and how the water was sitting there and that my electrical appliances had now stopped working In my bedroom as well, I received a “yea sorry ‘bout that”  by Mike. I would leave a review of their work but I have nothing to show for it because they simply don’t show up and they don’t answer. The people that work the phone line and very responsive and helpful but the project manager has answered only twice over the multiple calls and multiple days.

The PuroClean team did a fabulous job cleaning our Aunt's home! They worked hard and nonstop to do the job efficiently. The owner Michael was the picture of professionalism. We appreciated his compassion, empathy and genuine concern for our family. I would highly recommend the company to anyone! A special thank you again to the entire PuroClean team for everything!

Ohio Mobile Glass LLC

Anytime you have to call a company like this, it's not a good day. A rock kicked up from a car ahead of me and chipped the windshield on my new car. With a 1K deductible on my insurance, I was freaking out about the cost. Not to mention that the weather change and frost this week could cause it to spread. I called 3 places for an estimate and only 1 called me back within the day-Ohio Mobile Glass. He came to my work the very next day and sealed it up so well that you can barely see where it happened. Im going to post before & after pics but I couldn't even get an after pic with the spot visible. He done an excellent job.  He was also very friendly and professional. I'm the most awkward, introverted person ever, but after talking with him for only a few minutes, I felt comfortable & at ease. The price was more than fair and affordable. I would definitely recommend him to all. An added bonus that this is a small, local business versus a large corporation.

Had a great experience with Ohio Mobile Glass. I was going to use the big name Safe guys, but wanted to support a local business. Made a great decision because Ohio Mobile Glass was quick, professional, and did an amazing job on my jeep! The trim around my Glass was messed up so it was leaking a lot of water. They had a solution to fix that up and the Glass looks amazing. All done within 1 hour at my location for a better price than those SAFE guys.

I would highly recommend this company. Jeremy texted the whole time. He arrived right on time. We had just bought our Acura. The dealership said it was my word against theirs. They said if there was a chip in my window it would had been repaired during the certification process. Jeremy came out and confirmed that the chip indeed had been repaired. It is always a good thing to have a professional make sure. He even inspected everything to make sure all windows were good. He did not even charge me since he did not have to repair anything. I offered to pay a trip charge and he would not take it. The smaller local companies are always better. I highly recommend this company. Great experience with a porch post replacement. I had a difficult time finding a contractor to help with this project until I contacted this outfit. Andrea was very helpful & responsive with the scheduling process. T did excellent work replacing a damaged post on my back porch. He also found a rotted board below the gutter that needed replaced which he fixed as well. I feel the work was great value and reasonably priced. First time using ACE for handyman services and will be working with them again on future projects.

I've had nothing but great experiences with Ace Handyman Services. Most recently, I needed help leveling a light switch panel to be flush with the wall. They came out once and couldn't quite figure it out, so a field supervisor came back out to make sure it got fixed in the most cost effective way.

Andrea made scheduling so easy! And Tim was extremely professional and skilled. I gave him a varied list and he tackled everything from cleaning two windows 20+ feet above a staircase to hanging a curtain rod on one of those windows (and yes, he creatively hung the valance for me too), replacing a wired in smoke detector on a high ceiling and replacing a garbage disposal. I've already started a new list for when we schedule Ace Handyman Services East to come back! Thank you for the great work and great attitude from all! Chris came out and did some work at NextDoor at LivingProof Recovery as park of their give back project, and to say he did amazing would be an understatement. We had extensive water damage to the try wall next to the tub, and not only did he repair it but he provided a solution to keep it from happening in the future. We are so grateful!

Ace Handyman service is an excellent company to work with for doing odd jobs around the house. Christian and Chris were at our home for 3 days doing various jobs. (Replacing a door and frame, replacing boards under kitchen sink from a leak, repairing a ceiling after a leak)  The work was completed quickly and correctly. One of the things I liked most was the communication. The men texted every time they were on the way to the house. They were professional at all times.
