Pure Barre

I tried one free class and I loved it! Almost 6 months later I'm still loving it and going 4-5 times a week. The instructors are all great and super motivating. I also appreciate any correction to prevent injury and get the best results. It has a great vibe with a judgment-free zone. Everyone is so friendly. I'm so glad I found Pure Barre!!

I joined Pure Barre Lincoln four months ago and really enjoy all aspects of the classes, especially the results! I feel more toned and stronger because of the great workouts. The studio is very welcoming and all of the staff is encouraging and enthusiastic and supportive of each member. It’s a great workout and I highly recommend Pure Barre Lincoln!!!

The instructors and the attendees are so encouraging and enthusiastic. I never looked forward to working out before coming here. The best part is the workouts are what you make of them because it’s so easy to simplify or raise the difficulty within each class! Highly recommend!

I thoroughly enjoy these classes, and as one who has taken multiple fitness classes I can say the workout, the instructors and the attendees are all inclusive, uplifting and wonderful! The atmosphere of the class is positive and the class is challenging but fun. The enthusiasm is also encouraging. Overall very excited to use my unlimited monthly classes and eager for the results to speak for themselves.

The instructor and fellow classmates were super nice and helped me a lot. As for the workout, I would recommend trying it. It's not for me, but it was worth a shot, and you might like it.

Lincoln Pilates Method

I have back issues and am so thankful my friends recommended Pilates method. They have carefully worked with me to strengthen my core which protects my back. The close supervision and adjustments to the workouts for my body have me much stronger and more active than when I started. Love these instructors and the friends I’ve made. Highly recommend!

I have been going to Pilates Method for over 20 years and have worked extensively with both Monica and Connor.  I am handicapped and they are able to tailor workouts to what I am able to do.  I have worked with many physical therapists over the years and have found Pilates Method to be more helpful for me.  There is no doubt in my mind I am in much better shape do the help they have given me over the years.

Monica is my Pilates instructor and she is amazing, knowledgeable, professional and she has many years of experience. I definitely feel and see results. I have more core strength and less back pain. I highly recommend Pilates method I like the environment and all the staff are very friendly and welcoming. I look forward to every session!

Working out with Monica has been life changing. I am a hairdresser and because of Pilates I will be able to retire from doing hair instead of having to switch professions due to the wear and tear on my body. I feel challenged, and when my body is tired and not cooperating Monica understands how to help me  get the best work out for where I’m at that day. Thank you Monica for keeping our group sessions to three people, allowing for individual modifications when needed.

Best pilates instructors in Lincoln! small class structure allows instructors to pay attention to each individual. also very flexible with scheduling. everyone is welcoming and fun to work with!

Scarlett Pilates

I love Scarlett Pilates! My body has gotten much stronger since I started taking the virtual classes a couple of years ago. Katie is great at giving clear instructions and helping adapt to each individual’s unique needs. She had helped me to become aware of and engage core muscles, which has helped alleviate chronic pain patterns. Her experience in fields like aerial dance and her vast, intimate knowledge of the musculoskeletal system make Katie a Pilates instructor in a class of her own.

I have been taking Pilates classes at Scarlett Pilates for over a year now.  I couldn't be happier with the classes.  I have several long lasting injuries that Kate is able to work with, expertly modifying exercises to suit my needs.  Further, she builds routines to go to the core of some of my issues (sore hips, bad back, bad shoulder :)) that provide relief while also building strength.  She is very caring and attentive to each of her clients and I wish I could give Scarlett Pilates 20 stars.  She is fantastic!

I’ve been working with Scarlett Pilates since 2020. Her private reformer sessions are fantastic - highly personalized and my favorite method of cross training. I feel stronger and more capable than I did in my 20s! I rely on her virtual mat classes when I travel or can’t make it to the studio. Not everyone can successfully guide people through a workout remotely, but she can. Highest recommendation for Scarlett Pilates!

Immaculate studio and equipment, very peaceful and welcoming. The teaching is excellent, certified, professional, patient,  encouraging and very knowledgeable and helpful in diagnosing and working with one's weak areas. I have been greatly helped here at Scarlett Pilates with my core strengthening, and problem pain areas. Out of all the classes and therapies i have undergone, this is the one with the best results for me. I definitely recommend Scarlett Pilates to everyone.

Pilates with Katie Scarlett is my favorite part of the day.  A moment to focus on myself and get into my body in a smart healthy way that makes living feel better.

Club Pilates

I signed the contract on November 9, 2022, after being informed that the studio would be done in February 2023. I signed the contract because the representative that I spoke to kept assuring me that the studio would be open by February, even though he knew that it would not be ready by then. After February came, the studio was not ready yet. I then decided to take my business elsewhere after finding out that concrete was just being poured when April came. The representative knew that the studio won't be ready by the time that was represented (very deceptive), which voids this contract. A contract is an agreement between two parties. I only agreed due to being told that the studio would be ready by February, which was false! Permits were not even obtained until around April. I have not used any of the facilities since they opened and shouldn’t be charged, especially when the representative deceptively informed me that the studio would open in February. This can be backed up by an email I received on April 10th, with the email stating that they just finally got concrete poured and obtained city permits (he knew that it wouldn’t be ready by February). The representative should’ve never deceived me with false information! I called them to ask why I'm still getting charged, and he just verbatim said, "Well, you still have to pay," even after I told him I hadn't even stepped foot in the studio once due to my busy schedule and that I had been deceived into signing up with the wrong information. The month I was informed was February, and I did not get an update till April. I should’ve known they didn’t have the right timeline when I was initially informed that it would be ready by February, and the next scheduled payment after initial sign-up (11/9/2022) was 3/1/2023. It is not my fault that the representative I initially spoke to used deceptive tactics to recruit!

I have wanted to try Pilates for many years. I am so grateful for the opportunity to have a high quality, focused, safe, and great experience here in Lincoln. I encourage anyone interested or curious in what Pilates can do to check out this experience.

Wow! The slow and steady movement is an intense workout that is great for the mind and body! Highly recommend it for anyone looking for group workouts and something different.  This is coming from a thicc and not in the best shape,  yet,  guy.

Instructors are great and you get an amazing workout!

A lovely experience. Was definitely not expecting to love pilates as much as I do now. Felt amazing after!!

Fire House Gym

There is only one major downside with this gym. When you have to move away you will never ever find a gym like this, I was able to do any workouts I needed and if I needed help or had questions there would be a fellow gym member that is willing to help. If you’re just getting into working out this gym is the one for you because it is the most friendly staff and members I’ve ever seen. I never noticed it til today I had to go to a different gym and the members at gym to not be named were sour. Like I said best gym ever I miss it everyday and hope to move back to the area so I can start coming back again.

I was in North Platte for a month working at the hospital and needed a membership somewhere. Firehouse was very responsive and they were right on top of getting me set for the month. The gym is very clean and the people there are super friendly. A great gym and a great place to workout!

Excellent gym and people. Highly recommend this gym .

Since I have been there bunny has been disrespectful to me. My card has been shut off twice with no explanation or phone call. What a shame I loved the people in this gym.

Burn Boot Camp

Hello! My flexologist was CJ. He was very knowledgeable and gave me a great stretch. I liked how he educated me with what he noticed I had going on and what he would suggest to help me out. I will definitely be returning.

Have been to Ali and CJ. Both awesome to get my stretch on!! Really helps to stretch after having sciatica earlier this year.  Try it—you’ll love it!

Wonderful first stretch!  Stacy was great at explaining everything, the why and what she’s doing.  I can really tell I’ve been stretched and can feel it.  Would recommend Stacy.

My main flexologist is Chris and he is absolutely fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable and able to communicate that to me as his client in a way that is understandable. I’m addition to improving mobility through my scheduled stretches, Chris provides homework for me to do when I’m not there and this has significantly helped me to stay healthy and prevent injury. I do the 50 minute stretches due to the amount of work I needed done and this is a good amount of time. There are 25 minute stretches available if you need something quicker or more affordable. All in all, I’ve enjoyed my time at Stretchlab and would recommend people to try it out.

My daughter just turned 8 and is a gymnast, dancer, swimmer and tumbler. But her biggest struggle has been flexibility because it just doesn’t come naturally. So, we came across stretchlab. I thought we have tried everything, from paying hundreds of $ for private lessons, to me trying to help to YouTube videos.
Anyway, we started just over 1 month ago for 1x a week for 25minutes. Since then she has gained a better left (good leg) split, got her right (bad leg) leg split, and gained a lot on her middle splits. Her hips have gained more mobility as per the scan. She loves coming, it never hurts, she raves and has been literally begging me to leave a 5⭐️ review. We have had a few different flexologist and they have all been great, friendly and helpful! 10/10 recommend.

I love this place! I’ve been coming for a few months now and have really noticed a difference in strength and flexibility, not to mention my pants fit better! ALL of the instructors I’ve had are wonderful and bring something unique to the workouts. The owners are lovely and the staff are very kind. Shout out to RuthAnne, who did my intro class and makes us laugh to get us through the tougher exercises. Thanks!

I love the small class sizes and personalized instruction. If I ever have a problem, the instructors find a way to modify the technique, in a way, that I feel comfortable. I used to work out all the time; however, I lost my spark some time ago. Club Pilates has been helping me to reignite my spark once again. It has also been a great mother/daughter bonding activity. Although all of my instructors have been fabulous, I highly recommend you to take a class with Jodi Bartling.

The actual Pilates experience was awesome, loved the workouts and times available. The reason for 3 stars is I had a problem with the membership part. What I didnt like is that they want you to honor their policy but they do not honor you're request when it comes time to cancel. I told the lady that I was going to leave out of town for a month and would like to put my act on hold, she said great she would do so. Well when I returned they charged my card for that month and never put it on hold and when I tried to tell them what happened they said I never had requested it. I decided with that I wanted to cancel, when I requested a month in advance to cancel my membership they told me I couldnt till the month was over due to their 3 month honor policy which was fine I respect policies. I waited my time and canceled when it was honorable for them. Well when the time came it took me 3 days of calling to get a hold of someone who is qualified to cancel memberships. Told me over the phone it would be canceled and sent me an email confirming it as well. Well as I was going through my bank statements I noticed another month charge from Club Pilates. I called Club Pilates it took 2 days to get a hold of someone who had authorization to help me with this. I had my card cancelled right away to avoid anymore unwanted charges from them. After speaking to the manager I got my money returned and an apology. Club Pilates is great for the work out love the enviroment I just dont like it when companies mess with their customers to try and get some extra month.

Club Pilates is very welcoming to all ability levels.  Their friendly and knowledgeable staff will customize your experience to make it the best possible workout.  The facility is very clean and bright.  You can’t help but leave with a smile on your face after your session.

Amazing place! I started out coming to help my sister get committed to working out since I already workout at home. But I have gotten so much more out of the classes for myself and my body. It has allowed me to use different muscles in way I never thought possible. I love Club Pilates Lakeside and am so blessed I can come every day or multiple times a day if I want.-Jamie Jamison

Fit Nation is a great place to workout!  Offering many class times to choose from daily, makes it easy to fit into my schedule.  The 30 minute workouts are different every day. This 30 minutes is the best part of my day.  I have been attending Fit Nation for a little over three years.  I have tried several different workout options.  This is by far the easiest to stick with because of the people and the workout is different every day.

I love all the classes. Each one is different and always modifications available to meet anyone’s level of fitness. Always a positive and encouraging atmosphere of people there to get better without any judgement! Tried my first class for free and knew immediately I was ready to sign-up for my membership.
