Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

Arrived around 5pm. We all had chicken strips and they were so good! The guy that waited on us was very friendly, helpful and nice. It was all very clean. Definitely will go back.

The guy at the drive thru has given the best customer service the past couple times we've been to dq. Absolutely exceptional workers.

Clean facility, friendly service, and hot fresh food. Great stop on the way through town.

Came to the store 5 minutes before closing and instead of all the staff being rude we were there. They helped are big group with kindness and a smile. This is customer service that make me want to keep coming back!

Good treats, as always.  The staff could use a personality transplant, however.  It seems to be a permanent attitude.

Walmart Supercenter

We stop at this particular location every time we travel through the area. We've always find it convenient and stocked with most items we're needing/wanting. The employees are always kind and most helpful. The restrooms are clean and the parking lot is well maintained.

The employees are super friendly and helpful.. my very first Walmart experience with staff that are friendly and helpful. All other Walmarts I've been too has had rude cashiers that don't want to help, but not this one. Everyone of them I have dealt with have been positive and friendl. Clean store. Very well stocked.

I think this is the SMALLEST Walmart I’ve EVER been in. However, it makes it VERY easy to find what you need. The associates are VERY friendly and helpful. I also love that they have gear for fans of the Wildcats and T-Birds.

We stop at this location monthly while traveling. Stopping in to buy drinks and snacks, and to stretch our legs. It's always clean, well organized and usually staffed with friendly employees. I would have given more stars today except that the female employee near the Pokémon/trading card section treated me like a shoplifter. She came over and with a super condescending tone, asked if I needed any help. I told her no, that I was just looking. She then proceeded to stand directly behind me until I left. I guess Concordia has a trading card theft issue with 50 year old white males. So bizarre.

Nick's Gyros

First time to eat at this Nick's. Probably the largest Gyro I've ever had. Good value for the price, can make two meals out of it. Pita was good and veggies fresh and lots of meat. Feta and sour cream were ample.

I have been a long time customer at this location. They never disappoint and deliver a superior product. The Beef Greek Salad is excellent. With the remodeling it really highlights what a great spot this is for a delicious meal.

Normally, I have a very good experience here! Today that was not the case; I ordered the grilled cheese with peppers and onions because I don't like the meat, and they always tell me to order that exact thing to save money and the girl working acted like I couldn't order it that way. When I got home to eat, it was so salty and there were bits of other meat in the ham and cheese.

We had the traditional gyro and they are fresh as well as amazing. You can customize them with lettuce free of charge. We were also offered a small. Taste of the gouda bites. We automatically ordered a full order they are highly recommended!

Papa Murphy's | Take 'N' Bake Pizza

I ordered my Large meat lover’s with creamy garlic sauce. over the phone at 5:56. They said it would take 10 - 15 minutes and they would have it ready. I had to pick up a prescription so I got there about 18 minutes later. I was the only one there when I walked in. A girl was cleaning and not sure what the other guy was doing. She went over to check on my pizza that wasn’t done yet and was kind of mad at the other kid. Then was asking my name and saying the system was down but then she acted like she found it. I told her I ordered a large meat lovers with creamy garlic sauce over the phone. Then some guy came behind me, and he ordered a Papa’s Favorite. Then when they gave me my pizza, I had the creamy garlic sauce but it was a Papa’s favorite and I said this is not what I ordered. I ordered creamy garlic sauce, but this is not the toppings I ordered and they said, didn’t you order a Papa’s favorite and I said no I called or over the phone And ordered a meat lovers. So then they proceeded to make me another pizza. The girl behind the counter made the pizza very quickly so I thought wow that was pretty quick and I took the pizza and thanked her and told her yeah you put on the receipt papa’s favorite When I ordered meat lovers over the phone and then I took the pizza and walked out of the store. And then I turned around and walked back in the store. They gave me the meat lovers pizza, but it had red sauce I came in the store and told them this has red sauce, don’t this look like red sauce to you and two of them said yes and the girl that made the pizza she would not even look at the pizza. I just got frustrated and said forget it. I will take it and left. I don’t think I will ever be going back. It’s nice that the pizza’s a $12 on Tuesday and I would understand if they were busy or something but there was myself and one other guy in there at the time. Some other girl called in for her pizzas and both of her pizzas were ready. This is just very DISAPPOINTING! Because they do have very good pizza.

I ordered online at 7:23pm and pickup was scheduled for 7:56. I got a call 3 mins later stating that they close at 7:30pm and that my order was ready for pickup. Everywhere online says that they close at 8pm. I questioned the guy about that and he said corporate doesn’t keep up with their local hours. I feel terrible about making them wait as I was a 20 min drive away. I show up at 7:42 and the lights are off but I notice the hours on the door…it says that they close at 9. I just grab the pizza and leave. I don’t like being lied to and I hope this problem will get fixed (looks like I’m not alone according to other reviews on here). It’s one of my favorite pizzas but that alone is not enough to keep businesses afloat in todays world.

The kids were running the place. The guys came in from outside as were ordered. The girl didn't know how to run the register. The toppings weren't evenly distributed. Part of the crust was wrapped over the paper pan.

Everytime I go there which is a couple times a week on average the staff is very helpful very friendly it's quick it's easy they take SNAP cards.  Pizza options are breadsticks dessert pizza in wide variety and good price nice to have their specials. Also they have a punch card so for every 12  pizzas, you get one free.

Disappointed. Ordered a large cheese extra cheese with pan crust. I love the buttery stuff in the pan that I pour over the cheese after baking and taking the pizza out of the pan. But today there was no buttery stuff in the pan and the “extra” was missing in the cheese. Sad day.

Shell

Good thing the women's restroom is at the end of the hall, because you can see into the men's when you walk past it.
Other than the poorly maintained building, the cashier was very nice.

Trash cans were full by the pumps.

The bathrooms were disgusting.
The bad smell from the bathrooms filled the whole store.

Place is a trash pit.  Looks like a middle Eastern ghetto.  Building/parking lot/property in general is unkept.  Two (apparently wrecked) campers sitting out back.  Then you go inside to be greeted by the smell of sewer.  Walked into the bathroom and there was more urine on the floor than in the urinals.  Floor was literally wet with piss.Turned around and walked out

I would give 0 stars if possible! This place was awful! The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting 🤮, no proper locks on the door dirty and nasty. I’ve seen a lot of gross bathrooms but these were just neglected! That’s not even the problem though, I went to go check out at the regular desk because the other check out said fuel desk and asked if I could check out here, the lady at the counter literally shouted at me that she was already helping somebody, it was honestly just so damn rude. I literally work customer service, I understand if you need a second but that’s inexcusable to speak to someone that way! She should be fired! I was one of many that she was rude to in the 5 minutes I was there, including her poor coworker at the fuel desk. 9/10/23 at about 4:20. Shell needs to investigate her!

Stopped here for gas and to use the restroom on our way back home to Missouri. This was by far the nastiest gas station I’ve EVER been too! I took my daughter inside with me for us to use the bathroom and we took a video and walked right back out it was so disgusting!! I’ve seen portapots cleaner than this place and those are just terrible in general! So as I’m leaving I asked the he/she cashier if they ever clean the bathrooms? He/she looked at me and said only when corporate tells US too!!! Really??!!! What in the actual hell kinda answer is that?! That has to have been the most ridiculous answer someone has ever said to me! That was just pure laziness and the most unprofessional ignorance I’ve ever heard in my life!! So unless you want to walk-in to a place of business where you would literally feel like you could  catch some sort of disease I suggest going on to the next gas station!!

Pizza Hut

So apparently the deep fryer wouldn't start at 4 PM this evening. The manager called me and told me this and offered to either reimburse the money or give me something different so I chose something different, My order arrived a little late, but that's nothing to be complaining about if their deep fryer is not functioning properly. But it turns out they finally got the fryer working and sent it out. Not only the food that I requested as an exchange for the nuggets that I was originally going to get. But I also got the nuggets as well. Thank you, Pizza Hut, you're in Russell. For not only being cooperative for going above and beyond to support your community.

We were passing thru town on a very long road trip. I was able to make a call ahead order so we could be on our way quickly. The sweet lady who took our order was so accommodating. Our pizza was ready and piping hot when we got there and we were able to eat and get back on the road. Such great customer service and everyone was so friendly and helpful! even gave us to-go cups at no charge.

This is how our food showed up tonight from Pizza Hut in Russell. When we talked to the manager Hannah  she said not our problem since we ordered online!!!!  Also refused to make us a new Pizza. Also refuses to give us general managers name and number

Service was good, we got garlic parm and honey teriyaki bone out wings with cheese garlic knots and my husband and I both got personal loan pizzas. Garlic white sauce with chicken and bacon, and then the bbq chicken pizza. Everything was so good, and fresh and hot. Was right next door to my hotel so was even better. Only disappoint was we thought it would be the buffet but they weren't doing it, only salad bar. Still great time and food tho.

Had a really great dinner! They were late delivering some of the food (we barely noticed) and without prompting kindly comped the meal. Will gladly go back for great food and awesome service.

Colyn was awesome! Very polite and helpful. The pizza he made was delicious. Highly recommend!

Ordered a salad and asked for croutons and was told they have been out for 2 years. And took them a while to find my order and all I had was 2 salads and the person working was very unfriendly!!

Got that combo thin crust and it was wonderful. They have a new item with meatballs and marinara that I plan on making spaghetti for for another meal. And cookie dough because it's the best and I like to eat it raw anyway.  😂😂 And they're open on Sundays and you can take this pizza home to bake it

We drove a round trip of 2 hours for this pizza. It is my father n law’s favorite thing to eat with my husband when we had it in town. So we drove the 2 hours to get for his birthday. He loved it! They were so kind and helpful.  Thank you!!!

The bacon artichoke spinach pizza thin crust family sized pizza and salad with ranch dressing to be a little bit more of a little more veggies to be a good idea for dinner if not lunch time

Ordered and made in front of you and wrapped up the bake instructions on the paper for you to be reminded to be sure that is the same instructions as the person explaining the best possible way of baking the pizza and the same place in the same place that is in the baking instructions as well as they tell you how to get the best possible pizza take n bake pizza

Jims Gyros

4.7 is high on the Google reviews..  They did not offer Tzatziki upon ordering gyro.  They should if they got it.  They use shredded cheddar not Feta. No onions or tomato is used on gyro.  It wasn’t bad but not what we expected; it’s not a gyro.  It’s more like Taco Bell with gyro meat.  We’re traveling through.

The person who took my order was very nice, but felt like they were new. When they asked for help from a coworker the coworker didn't seem very friendly.
Restaurant was loud and wouldn't be pleasant for dine in.
The Gyro I ordered was really bland compared to other Gyros I've had. The fries that came with it were equally poor and indicative of a fryer using old oil.

SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT!!! :( Moved back to GI and Jim's was at the top of our list to hit up, it was our anniversary, so we were excited as usual to go. We went on a Monday evening at 7:30.

They must have switched owners again because I've never seen such poor everything there and I've eaten here for YEARS. First, price. Sticker shock. Yikes. Their usual "combo special" is now $11/$12 and $9 for just the gyro. I don't mind paying top dollar if it's a great sandwhich but that is far from what we recieved. $20 for two chicken gyros. The pictures speak for themselves. There was 8 bite sizes pieces of chicken and near non existant toppings. Also, a menu pic for reference.

Second. Dirty tables and only two other folks eating in there. No more "Frank's Red Hot" on the tables. Only extra large Heinz bottles with nearly anything even left in them and a large portable AC running in between two tables by the wall and a clearly disorganized dry storage area near the restrooms.

Save your money, your appetite, and make the trip to Nick's gyros in Hastings next time. You WON'T be disappointed! Sadly, this was the straw that broke the camels back for Jims for us. If the original owner who takes pride in his food and business returns, absolutely we will be back.

Friendly, helpful personnel made my meal extra enjoyable. I ordered a greek salad, and it was worth the $9. The portion was large and the food was fresh. The dining room and restrooms were super clean.

Great place for a reasonable and filling lunch! I usually get the traditional gyro combo with fries and a drink for just over $11. The only thing that would elevate the gyro would be tzatziki sauce instead of sour cream.

Love's Travel Stop

This Loves does not live up to my expectations when compared to other Loves.

No fenced in dog area. The dog area does have poop bags but it is muddy and full of poop. Lots of poop.

Trash cans were full.

Bathroom was dirty and small.

It does have an attached Dairy Queen.

I would pass and wait for a different travel stop.

So this is the only Loves that I have ever stopped at that I have been told driving a sprinter van that I can not park over night. Been doing this for 3 years. First time for everything so if you drive a sprinter van steer clear of this location they will make you leave.

My husband and I truck and this may be a small loves but it's our favorite. Everytime we come here the store is clean and quiet. The women's bathroom is always exceptionally clean which I appreciate. There's additional parking across the street since the parking lot is so small.

Very nice Love's. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Has 3 different restaurants and nice amount of seating. Laundry is also available with nice amount of machines and space. Shower was very clean as well as the restrooms. Easy on and off to 70. Small amount of parking and fuel bay is tight.

Not that great of a Loves. It’s near midnight and the staff are unpleasant and the store is hohum feeling. Like it certainly was another station, small. Wieners were shriveled too. One to avoid on my next trip.

Nasty nasty nasty, severe lack of cleanliness at this store. Public bathrooms were disgusting and despite being well staffed during the day no one keeping them clean. Store is very disorganized and cluttered. Laundry room is down. Semi parking lot has humongous deep potholes and needs to be repaved. Popeyes is ran by a bunch of kids but they were nice. Shower bathrooms were no better and had prominent dookie splatter. This is why I detest Petro: lack of attention and disregard for its patrons.

I really enjoy Poppies Chicken but, This place exhibited such incomitance even before I ordered that I decided to just leave hungry without placing an order. I was the only customer in the restaurant. The person behind the counter did not seem surprised when I told him I was going to go somewhere else.

Clean environment, very rude staff.. The woman attendant casually ignored me as I politely asked to pay for gas on my pump, only to ask her several more times. When she did acknowledge me, she was short and snippy talking with me ( the only customer)
I have no idea what type of attitude the day staff may have - weary evening traveler's beware, it may be best to visit the gas station across the street.

A great stop for restrooms, drinks, snacks. Has laundry and showers for OTR truck drivers.
