Walmart Supercenter

Typical Walmart trip. New to the area and needed groceries. The relative location to public transportation is great. People were friendly. A bit busy but I assume this is typical for this location.

Amazing back to school lunch concepts! They have these adorable Walmart brand individual chicken salads that comes in two flavors!! I pair them with either the Ritz stackable, celery sticks, or the club smart stacks.  They are a perfect lunch for my little one!

I realize it's kinda ghetto around here but it's still VERY annoying when they see me walk away from checkout and still try and stop me on my way out the door to make sure I paid for everything. They probably hate me because when they ask to see my receipt I hand it to them and just keep walking and tell them they need to keep up if they want to look in my cart.

This employee behind the desk (photo attached) gave this customer an absolutely hard time for no reason at all!

Claiming that the man had stolen the item he was trying to get a refund for.

The employee had such a disgusting attitude and look on his face the whole time too. Like sir, if you hate doing your job so much, then quit or get another one!

The world is already a crazy place as it is. People don't need your disgustingly negative energy.

Absolutely horrible management. They never honor the mess in their store ever. My daughter works at a walmart she knows better. They are supposed to honor their mess when they make mistakes on prices or put things in the wrong places. They have people they hired just for that reason. I spend all my time in their shopping when I get to the register. I expect to get when I'm paying for and what it says at cost.

This Walmart was clean and professional. They had the product I needed at a good price. The product also worked perfectly for my HD TV

Placed a small online order the day before I went to Walmart, so I could do quick curbside pick up. I was notified a day ahead of time that my order was ready.

I checked in on the Walmart app when I was heading to Walmart. When I got to Walmart about 10-15min later I checked in a second time on the Walmart app. Marked what space I was in and the color of my car. The app confirmed my information and said my order would be out shortly. After 30 minutes went by and no order, I called the phone # on the parking spot sign. Asked curbside pickup what's taking so long. They told me they were busy, and a little backed up, but "they are getting your order right now".

As I waited another 20 minutes, I saw 2-3 other customers park near me, check in with Walmart, get their orders, and drive off. So I called the # again and voiced my displeasure with the long wait time, and told them " people who got here after me, got their orders in 10 minutes!" They gave me more excuses, apologized that they were low on people, and said "they're getting your order right now".

After another 20 minutes came and went with no order (70 minutes total), I locked my car, went into Walmart, grabbed my 3-4 necessities and paid for them in under 10 minutes. On the way out, I voiced my displeasure to the store Mgr on duty, standing near Customer Service. She apologized and said she would talk with Curbside Pickup. As we spoke, I noticed nearly a dozen employees standing in the Customer Service area doing NOTHING! (No wonder they don't have enough people to fill orders at Curbside Pickup.)

By the time I got back to my vehicle, now 80-90 minutes total wait time, my small order finally arrived. I politely voiced my anger /frustration over "the worst service I've ever had" to the delivery person, showed him I already had my order in my hands, and told him he can take everything back and cancel my order.

Usually I would give Walmart 4 or 5 star rating on any given day. I've shopped there for 20+ years. But after this ridiculous waste of my time and lack of customer service, I may just start going elsewhere.

We ordered a cake online. Not only was it to the T of the picture. Everyone was asking where we got it. Top notch on the cakes! I wish I was paid for this review. But how good the cupcake cake looked was worth 10 times more. #orderhereatwalmart Thank you so much to the bakery! #yallrock

Wal-Mart continually shows their lack of pride, lack of customer service and lack of customer safety... which does trickle down to their employees, I might add. Leaky roofs (creating slippery floors), trash left in shopping carts and aisle after aisle, blocked with boxes. Most notable, after Covid. The 24 hour Wal-Mart ceases to exist these days, in my neck of the woods, anyways. Employees boast 📢🔊 over their loud speakers that they'll be closing soon, typically 11:00PM. Further stating, "for the benefit of shoppers, so shelves can be re-stocked and the store cleaned". 🤔 However,  this is something I've witnessed for well over a year and have taken pictures of, randomly... morning, afternoon and evening. Day after day.

My review is to, hopefully, speak up for us. Not just as consumers, but also as people who won't let these big box companies pocket all of their profits. They need to put their earnings, our dollars, back in to their stores and their employees. Then, we might see some positive change.

I wanted a socket set that was located at aisle I6. However, for some reason, Walmart decided to lock the sets inside a showcase locker with no push button to call for assistance. So, you need to navigate through the aisles and look for help. After walking a couple of times, I saw an associate, I believe his name was Miles, and asked him for assistance. He mentioned he would call someone. I waited for around 15 minutes, but no one came. I noticed that Miles was just wandering around and not looking for someone to help me. I approached him and mentioned that I was still waiting for assistance. He replied, ‘Yes, I’ll be right back,’ and walked away again. I waited another 10 minutes, but no one came to help. I would suggest adding push buttons on these lockers and reminding associates to be attentive to customers instead of playing on their phones.

Store was very busy, but everything was good. I didn't see anything that was sold out, so it looks like everybody had a chance to get what they offer. They offer a lot, I go here at least two times a month. I've never been dissatisfied. Employees were very helpful when I asked questions. I will be shopping at this Walmart for a long time, unless things change.

I took my 5 year old daughter to Walmart yesterday. She was SO excited that Halloween costumes were already out for sale. She, of course, thought that that meant Actual Halloween was in a day or two lol! Anyway, we both loved all the different costumes. Shoes to go with, and all the Halloween themed fake nails, and other Halloween makeup. She literally wanted all the Disney princess costumes with all the matching accessories, all the shoes, and makeup. Lol We absolutely love Walmart, we can easily spend an hour, just looking at cool stuff. However, we tend to actually spend between 1 1/2 hours and 3 hours at Walmart everytime we go!

The worst part of them locking things up is that there is no one to come help. I get it. You want to protect your stuff, but I shouldn't be waiting 20 min for some soap. Get it together guys.

Its a WalMart so the prices are decent, the people are plentiful and they have these weird moments called hours and sometimes these numerical moments (remember, they are called hours) correlate with massive influxes of human body count.  CONSPIRACY THEORY: I believe that at times it isn't just mere correlation, but causation as well.  Get in and out as quick possible or feel the Wrath.  Occasionally you do see a Top 8 Booty and it calls for a audible to Walk Slow N' Steady and pretend your car is on the same side of the parking lot (Coincidence!!!) as hers so you can watch her get all the way in the car and drive away.  Reality is, you took the Train but so does She.  Just not the City one.

It's a Walmart with a bit rougher edges. You will find that a lot of products are locked behind glass and you will need a staff member to hand them over to you. Staff is nice, but very highly worked. I was hoping to get a shirt but the conveyor belt at the cash register was so dirty that I didn't want to put it on it -- which, apparently, was not cool. Oh well... 🤷‍♂️

Wonderful Food! I stopped for lunch on the way home from an interview. The place is clean and tidy, and staff is polite. 5 stars for great service and 5 more for the food. I ordered the mild spice, and it was perfect. Bursting with flavor!

The Chicken Tika Masala is amazing.

After today’s experience I will be making the drive over to the really nice Walmart in Mesa.

There’s never anywhere to park here unless you want to park a mile away, no matter the time of day. Most of the employees are rude. Half of the makeup section is closed off with its own register and you HAVE to pay there, even if the item is only worth $2. Half the time that section is closed with no employee in sight????? There’s always substitutions in my pickup order (meaning the app isn’t accurate with the store’s stock). Today I waited over 30 minutes for my pickup order. Thats fine, but every single pick up spot was full and there were only THREE employees putting orders in cars. One was more constantly going in and out (still very slowly I might add) and the other two only came in and out occasionally. Where are all the employees???? Again, today I had substitutions that I didn’t approve of, so I went in to look for what I needed. I was able to find the exact item I ordered to begin with. They just don’t look hard enough. I messed up when saying I didn’t want the substitutions. The app says to just let the employee know when picking up if there’s anything you don’t want anymore. The employee told me that’s not a thing and I would have to come back another day to return what I don’t want. Again, that’s fine. Just too many inconsistencies.

It was the largest in Arizona. I did see a similar sized walmart in Texas though. Even on the rural side like waco, walmart is huge over there. I don't know why most of the walmarts in arizona are small. This one is good and has collections though.

I have been to several pharmacies and Emily has by far made this my experience the best pharmacy ever. She went out of her way to provide me with the care I needed as well and being very informal and professional. 10/10. She’s was amazing. Thank you for your help and for caring so much. It really does mean a great deal.

This walmart is always clean, well stocked, and more often than not, the emplyees actually know wher ethings are in the store, despite my suspiscion that they just updated and rearranged the store. lol. I could be wrong tho. Sometimes Im just crazy. I never have issues finding what I need, be it in store, or online pick up. I find the most amazing clearance deals online as well. Not that that says anything about the store itself. But it is nice. I actually skip the walmart in my neighborhood to come to this one.

Came to this Walmart to buy some food and essentials while we were Tucson before beginning our road trip. The store kids very well stocked and well maintained. The staff is very helpful.

Update from 10-21-23
Here we go again! This time,  when I checked out with a cashier (glad to see one available),  both digital screens for customer viewing as items were rang up,  were either slow or not working. I even made the comment that it was pretty bad when the human was faster than the computer! I will say that the cashier was very friendly and understanding about the ordeal. They also have a nice selection of Halloween candy and other items.

This visit was for a couple of returns, which took a while because they only had 1 employee working in that section. Another employee arrived to help, and the first employee finished with the return she had and left for lunch, leaving those in line with the same scenario as before of a long wait in line for service. This Walmart seriously needs to make a few changes to better serve the community. I unfortunately had to drop another star for this. When I see improvements,  I will upgrade my reviews and add stars as I see they are earned.

Disappointment from today's visit:
I'm still amazed that all the open checkout lines are self check here! Another customer and I each had to request that we be checked out by an actual cashier! As much as Walmart makes and they want customers to check themselves out! I feel I should do my part to help cashiers keep their jobs and not add to the homeless rate, which just seems to be steadily increasing. I'm seriously disappointed in Walmart for this lack of care for the labor force and am subtracting a star for this.

I must add that the clearance items I found today were worth the trip.

I'm adding a star back on... the store is cleaner,  the cashiers are always so sweet to me,  and Victoria, who runs the ladies' dressing room, is a pleasure to talk to.  The other employees all seem to be very helpful and in good moods. The only downside to going in or coming out of this Walmart is the number of homeless people that are around, and someone always hits me up for some change, which I rarely have.

I guess it's just since the pandemic that it's a little harder for stores to keep full stock of some items so it's probably not Walmart's fault that part of the few of the items that I wanted were out of stock. It was fairly easy to check out, and the employees were very helpful.

Update 12-16-22
I took off a star (originally a 4-star review) because the ladies' restroom really needed attention, and the store seems to have gone down a bit since it's opening.

I was at this particular Super Center to purchase last minute gifts. I found everything I wanted to. However, I couldn't find just one of the things that I was looking for on my list. I knew it was there somewhere, but I had to go through several sections just to find an employee that could guide me to where I needed to be. If it weren't for that little bit of irritation, I would give the store a five star rating.

Today I went with one of my plushies and was scared they were gonna think I stole the silly but the associates did not! There was also a lovely lady named Deborah ( not sure if I'm spelling that correctly) that was positively polite! Wonderful experience!!!

Very Busy this time of year and with all the dirtbags and cranksters lurking around, honest shoppers are treated like thieves and have to show a receipt when leaving. Get rid of self checkout! Last week I saw a guy walk out of the store with 2 arm loads of stuff. Right past 2 Pima County Sheriff's deputies watching the rear self check out lanes. Actually they were leaning against a display and talking to eachother instead of watching... The door man asked for a reciept and the guy just kept walking. I understand the added scrutiny with massive rise in theft. But I am not a thief and don't like being treated like one.

It sure was crowded yesterday;it's expected being the day before Thanksgiving, but we did our shopping in record time, got everything we needed.there was so much variety of items to chose from and the fresh groceries abounded. 😀 The best part we didn't have to wait in line, nice. DO NOT COME TO THIS WALMART!! An  HOUR WAITING FOR BABY FORMULA!!! I spent an entire hr here waiting for someone to come answer the call light for me. I pressed the button several times. I asked workers coming by, no help. I tried calling the store. Well guess what?? Walmart doesn’t believe in answering phone calls from their customers. l tried the store operator and tried to reach electronics. I ended up having to call the pharmacy to get help and they paged out to people. GET IT TOGETHER AND START HIRING PEOPLE WHO CAN DO THEIR JOB!!

Made an appointment to have my battery changed and Alexander advised me once there that it would take him 25mins and that he's not doing it. Never ever on God's green earth will I ever return to any Walmart because they are incompetent. If only Target would offer an auto center.

Store is overall clean and nice, but the staff is rude and not helpful. I had to ask 4 members of the staff where the screwdrivers were before 1 of them was remotely helpful. One of the people I asked said "I don't know" and just walked away. It's very clear most of the staff don't care at all about their jobs or the customers.

Better stocked than the Walmart Supercenter near my home. Layout of the store is not apparent. Aisles not marked like they should be. For example I wanted an item that was on aisle K1. But the only K sign was K22. No clue where K1 thru K21 are. Still staff are way more helpful than other Walmarts. Even when I know I am interrupting their work, they are courteous.

🤦 It's Wal-Mart. 🙄 I've been to enough Wal-Mart locations over the years to understand that nobody goes here for the atmosphere or customer service. It can be a challenge to find an employee to help you in the electronics department... any department, really. However, if you arrive 15 minutes before they close, you'll be told by several employees that they're closing in fifteen minutes. 😫 I took the pictures 11/2023... they demonstrate the lack of care and safety for customers and employees alike by blocking many aisles. This is a common occurrence. 🤷 (I have mentioned this to Wal-Mart in the past).

Great staff,  needed help getting a bike from 3rd rack. Jen, was helpful and funny. Made the shopping in holidays easier

DO NOT HAVE YOUR TIRES DONE HERE. I thought I had a good quality tire service until I got home and noticed my tire caps were missing. The screw to my actual cap of my rim was missing. And my rims are all scuffed up and scratched. I called Troy to explain that my rim was scratched and all he said was," it's expected to happen. Because our machines are plastic." The lamest excuse I have ever heard. I have went to many other tire places and never had my rims scratched. AGAIN. DO NOT GO HERE FOR TIRES. THEY DO NOT CARE. And honest I would not go here for any other car services ever. WALMART DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. My rims are not cheep either.

I was a little frustrated with the fact that they have almost all of the cosmetics locked up and no good way to call an associate there to unlock it for you. I anticipate they will probably lose a lot of sales. I understand they want to cut down on shoplifting but for those of us who follow the rules don't make us wait so long and have to chase somebody down

Ace Hardware

There was a little feminine man at the register that was too busy jiggling beans into his mouth to try and check me out. Employees can’t do simple things like click buttons so be weary when coming to this location.

Very nice they try meet your needs to the fullest. It has a very at home mom & pop feeling while  having the selection of a big box store.

This is one of the best hardware stores I’ve been to. It’s always extremely well staffed with people who are knowledgeable, fun to talk to and willing to help. The prices are a high on certain things compared to home depot but it’s well worth it for better service and neighborhood feel! Support this place!!!

Ace is the helpful place, unless you need to return something they don't stock (even if it's an Ace branded item!). Then you're expected to return it to the original store, no matter how far, or find another one who stocks it. This is supposed to be a benefit of a franchise - a uniform experience. But no, they are all "individually owned and operated franchises" (as are all franchises, as anyone having taken one business class can tell you) and will heavily lean of this false premise to deny your return. Be smart, go to a store that has uniform and sensible policies across all locations like Home Depot or Lowe's rather than be expected to know the ridiculous rules they set up at each store without telling you until after the fact.

I came to get a hose here with my baby today and the customer service staff and cashier were so welcoming and kind. Complemented me and helped me because they saw I was carrying my baby. I highly recommend this ace. I wish I knew the staffs name that assisted me but you guys are awesome!!

This place changes there policies daily. Was not allowed in with a clear small backpack. As other customers roamed freely about the store with backpacks.
Also women with large handbags are allowed??

You have to ask for help because EVERYTHING is locked behind security glass and then they want to walk me all the way to the register for my $9 ear buds. Seriously?
Treated like a criminal. A petty thief. And if I wanted to steal your ear buds I could just walk off after you left me at the self checkout. I promise you would not stop me if I was determined to take your cheap little ear buds. I would not let your rent-a-cop 5' tall woman or the old man touch me. But, I digress.
This Walmart feels like you are an inmate. I will not be back to this location.

Man I'm telling you that shopping is stressful enough without needing to worry whether or not I'm going to get bitten or attacked by someone stupid dog. You guys let some lady in with two chihuahuas who aggressively barked and growled at every single person that walked by. That's freaking ludicrous. Those dogs are survived a long time without shopping in Walmart I'm pretty sure they can get by today as well. I attached the video for your viewing pleasure are you kidding?

Went here after the walmart on Bell refused to change my oil. This walmart had no issues. They were busy, so we did have a 3 hour wait. But honestly, it's because other walmarts are being lazy. So good job, Northern walmart, for working hard on a heat wave warning.

I found out at the last minute one of my grandchildren needed a Secret Santa gift and a VERY SPECIFIC gift... right before Christmas! And to our great fortune, this Walmart had one... AND did curbside pickup.
Easy peasy. Ordered online for curbside. Got the Marshmellow "thing" and I didnt have to stand in line (I am handicapped and long lines are not an option for me.)

We felt singled out. The guy was literally hovering over our shoulder as we were checking out. We have no need to steal. As we were exiting there was two ladies checking our receipt. One lady said there's only 1 juice listed. I showed her we paid for 2. She said she didn't see the jug on the receipt, I had to point that out as well. If you all are so concerned with theft, you should hire more cashier's to do the job.

We are native American and felt that we were singled out because of the color of our skin. As my husband loaded up our items. I went back into the store and there was no one at the door to check receipts. Our friends didn't get there receipt checked either.

This is the most uncomfortable visit we've ever encountered at any Walmart. I feel it was racial profiling. So NO, we will not recommend this Walmart to anyone.

On another note, half of the lights were out. We had to use our phone light to look for items. Very inconvenient. And they had no more jugs of water.

This is probably the best stocked Walmart I've ever been to.  They have EVERYTHING!!  Wide variety of items.  Very clean store. Best selection of Blackstone products here too.  I even found a few clearance items that were too good of a deal to pass up.  This is certainly the place to shop in sierra vista.  Nice selection. Of local items from U of A too!! This Walmart hits all the marks for what you’d expect from the retail giant: wide selection, decent prices, and overall convenience. Early mornings can be a bit of an adventure, though, with some questionable vehicles in the parking lot that seem like they’ve been there all night. Just something to be aware of. But inside, it’s business as usual with stocked shelves and helpful staff. Solid four stars for consistency and reliability.

Today I went at Walmart at sierra vista to do a phone return, and they wasn’t able to do it even in the receipt you can read return or exchange, terrible customer service, I bought the phone on April 19/2023 and the receipt you can read phone may be returned for refund or exchange with receipt within 14 days guess what I try to get my refund today may 1st not even 14 days yet they don’t do it. I ask an associate in electronics he try to help and then a couch came over she said there is nothing she can override and the the guy from T-Mobile said he I’ll do it, he was helping other of his customers and it take long, but patiently I waited at the and he try to do my return and he can’t do it neither. Totally i waste of my time.

To many automated machines and no personal services.  They seem to like customers doing the work and not hiring people who need jobs. Also, the team shopping for online orders you can't get around. Last week the Employee wouldn't move cart for a customer in a wheelchair let alone help her get an item off of a higher shelf tan she could reach, so yes, I helped her.
