Walmart Supercenter

I had a great experience at Walmart at Chambers and Parker. The store was clean and well-organized, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I was able to find everything I was looking for, and the prices were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this store to anyone looking for a convenient and affordable place to shop.

Horrible! D.J. the "manager" looked high on drugs today, the woman working had to keep asking him to come for this and that. He sent her on lunch and then he put another car in when I had been waiting for an oil change for an hour before the guy he put Infront of my car even arrived. As a result I will never use Walmart to get any car service, thanks to your manager DJ. If I we're you I would make the woman the manager, she is the only one in that department who does not look like they are on drugs!!!!!!!!!!

The tire and line sender is AMAZING fast, friendly and compassionate. I drive all the way over here just to get my oil changed. And the drive is worth it! Thanks Kaleb and the rest of the staff in TLE for the great customer service 💕

The older German (?) woman who works in the automotive department is probably one of the rudest people on the face of the earth. Zero people skills, even less customer service abilities. She’s a nightmare to deal with, and I know I can’t be the only one in Aurora who’s been treated poorly by her. Hey manager, maybe consider getting rid of her or send her through some serious training programs so she’s not so miserable to interact with.

Called at 830AM and spoke with Robin. Asked her if she had my tire in stock and she checked and said she did. I asked her if I could make an appointment and she told me that they dont do that and to come in to the shop and wait. I drove all the way to aurora and then DJ (who was extremely rude) told me that they weren’t taking any walk ins today because they had two cars getting worked in right now. I said I didn’t mind waiting for a few hours if they could squeeze me in. He said again no new customers today and wouldn’t allow me to get service today. Well then why did robin tell me to come in? Drove all the way across town for no reason. Got new tires at discount tire and I will never be going to Walmart auto centers again. Good job Robin and DJ!

Shell

Great location. That's the only good thing. The pumps are very old and are set up in a way that certain card users have to go inside and pay with the clerk. It's almost like forcing shoppers to browse the convenience store or maybe it's a debit card scam. There are many other reputable stations a quarter mile down the road.

Very nice and helpful even the security guy is really nice and keeps ppl from bothering costumers for money and stuff

They won’t take credit card, disable credit reader on the pump, and attendant will say it’s your card. Bs because I use that card at the next gas station just fine.

The guy running the store when I stopped in named Alex was super helpful and professional. Also very kind and easy to talk to. The other associates when I’ve been in there other times have also been extremely helpful. This is one of the only GNC stores I’ve been to where I felt that associates weren’t being overly pushy and trying to sell me a bunch of stuff I didn’t need

Had my first ever chip in my windshield.  Freaked out, naturally 😦.  Went here and Alyssa took great care of me.  She was very professional, quick and efficient.  I can't really tell where the chip was.  Not to mention the price was right up my alley!  If ever I need windshield work, this is where I'll go.  Thank you, Alyssa and Glass Doctor of Englewood!!

I've never truly dealt with the company, but today, one of their drivers almost hit me while on the road because he wasn't paying attention at all, and then proceeded to threaten me. Told me to "pull over so he can kick my a$$". I had made a call to the company, but the lady on the other end, her attitude made it seem it was my fault for all of this happening. If they can't admit fault at all, then definitely a company will never go to, but also a company I won't recommend to anyone. Super unprofessional

Bought a mirror from a third party and needed professional installation.  It was easy to make an appointment.  Was told up front the cost and what to expect.  The installer was truly a professional.  He spent time to get the mirror positioned perfectly.  As he told me, he's a perfectionist and boy does it show with the finished product.  Would use this company again in a heartbeat.

I needed a quick windshield chip repair.  They got me in as fast as I could get there and did a great job quickly.

Is the only one that does RV glass repair in the area.  Gentleman was knowledgeable and efficient.  And fair value for a house call!

The Home Depot

I placed 5 online orders here and went in numerous times to pick them up days. Sometimes weeks after the order supposedly arrived.  Mixed Match goods. N out of the 4/5 orders only one was ready to go. Watching the workers while I waited in line literally hours. You can tell that certain shifts have no leadership and they have a high turn over rate with almost no one knowing what they are doing. Really sad. Take your buisness else where.

It is just a few minutes walk away. There are a variety of products at Home Depot ranging from furniture, construction, and a lot more. They're quite accessible and affordable. It's one of the stores in that category to visit.

Donovan!! Great guy! I called in regards to the Halloween boogeyman since it said online it was in stock but I knew their Halloween display was still not put up and this guy saved my day! Been trying to get the boogeyman online but every time it restocks it sells asap! Can't thank you enough for your help! From allowing me to make the purchase even though its still not in display to bringing down the item from the shelves!

Today my son and I made purchases at two Home Depot stores, this one on Mississippi and the Pioneer Hills one on S. Chambers. The staff at this store are helpful, friendly and the store provides military veterans with a 10% discount on their purchases. We bought 4 items today. Then, because this store didn't have the toilet seats we wanted, we followed an employees suggestion that we drive to the Pioneer Hills store for them (he had checked stock online). The Pioneer Hills store charged several dollars more for the items we purchased and the MANAGER told us she was issuing the military discount. When we arrived home, we saw they had given my son a discount for one of the 2 identical items. So half a discount, or 5% instead of 10%. We will be staying with the Mississippi store in the future. Better customer service and staff we can trust.

Great store to come in to shop or pickup items from online purchases. They're well stocked and you can look for folks with orange aprons if you have questions.  I'm very happy with each of the appliances I've bought there over the years like air conditioners and especially a portable washing machine and a compact dryer. I've had to repair the washing machine once and would you know it I went back to home depot to get the parts for that. I'm not particularly partial and look for the best deals on item's and in my experience 9/10 I searched home depot had the best quality items at the best price. That's not a scientific number but it's rare for a competitor to do better than them. The one on Mississippi and abilene has a great flow to it with lumber near the checkouts and exit. I'm just an apartment dweller that dies projects and repairs but the contractors and homeowners are treated well just as everyone is I see. I'll definitely be back for their myriad of item's. Large size cleaning supplies in a good variety is worth looking at while your there.

This car wash damaged my car and the manager is keep telling me his insurance company will contact and he doesn’t want to provide me his insurance policy. I’m going to get a police report and suit them and will also file a report Better Business Bureau (BBB). I have given them enough time (more than 15 days). The corporate (Shell oil company) told me it’s privately owned.

Awful experience walking in to this store, there were 3 cashiers talking in their language not acknowledging customers walking in or in line.  When I’m about to pay the cashier walks away without saying anything until I say hello I’m ready to pay then after a second cashier with the worst attitude not even saying please just giving orders tells me to go to the other side of the corner, he gets mad and tells me give me $2 when my drink was less then $2. I don’t know what he thinks treating woman like this he needs to remember we in a free country where you treat people equality.

Showed up “open 24 hours” and was not. Apparently closes at midnight.. Air Pump was cut. Dude working just stared at everyone while he was counting his drawer instead of acknowledging us customers to let us know they were closed.

On the bright side, you can definitely purchase a tire plug here.

Minuteman Press

We had a great experience with the folks at Minuteman Press with the creation of my pet boutique truck decals. The owners were very knowledgeable and helped me through the whole process and  we couldn't be happier. We already have plans to add to our order to embellish the truck further.  Affordable and excellent service!

I ordered color changing mugs for teachers in my department.  To say they were a hit is a true understatement!  These were made within a week of placing the order and the professionalism of communication was incredible.  I will be ordering more items in the VERY near future.  I strongly recommend them for whatever needs you have.

Anne was amazing, responsive, and so helpful with getting our signage designed for our business. Now we can advertise boldly on the road and on job sites. We truly appreciate the insight and look forward to working together in future projects!

Big O Tires

Called Jorge 20 minutes before they closed asking if they could plug my flat tire. He said “bring it in, we’ll take care of you!”. Brought the truck in, they had it in the air, plugged and done in 20 minutes. Didn’t charge me for the service and sent me on my way. Excellent customer service isn’t common anymore, but it’s definitely a theme here. Highly recommended!

Got a flat and went in on short notice for some new tires. Jorge hooked me up with both his honest recommendations for my car and a discount deal on what I was there for in the first place. Wasn't pushy, just told me what he thought was best and let me decide. Prices were competitive   and service was short and sweet.

Wonderful service from George. No up-selling like some auto places. They were very straightforward and let me know of issues I've been unaware of whilst giving me a solid quote. They got me in and out. I will be coming back for check-ups and all things tires.

Jorge was amazing! Was about to walk out sad with no repairs or upgrade's after big o tires didn’t instantly approve me for financing. Jorge thought of another idea that I didn’t even pay attention to even with advertisement literally in my face, but he told me to try applying for Snap and I got approved!

Got All seasoned tires with a nice discount because of promotion and was able to run a diagnostic to clear out codes for repairs I did myself.

The UPS Store

They were supposed to deliver a package containing some VERY expensive items on a Monday and they had left a note while I was gone saying they needed a signiture and to sign the paper and they would use the signiture if I was not home I had called to ask them the proccess and see if i could pick the packages up at a location and the man hardly spoke any english and after a long time of trying to understand what he was saying he said I was not allowed to come pick up the package. Thenext day they came with the packages in hand and then left a note saying it have to be done in person and said that my package would be delivered the next day at 1030 and I had called to see when my package would arrive and the female I spoke with was VERY rude and disrespectful. I do not recommend ups to anyone. It is my recomendation that either management PROPPERLY manages their people or new management replaces the current management. Also make sure the people that pick up the phone speak PROPPER and FLUENT English. I am just fine waiting for packages but I cannot stand the disrespect and fact that they were lying to me this whole time is time. They showed me piss poor preformance through this situation.

Staff is not as friendly as they used to be.  Seemed to hurry through the process, yet I had to wait for her to wait on me. They have what you need to ship things here, but you can probably buy it for much less before you arrive.  Easier to have everything all ready to go when you get there.

Moved my husband's parents and had lots of glass and memories to ship back home.  We worked with Mr. A Sharma.  He was helpful, pleasant and knowledgeable.  We arrived just before closing and he took his time with us and explained everything.  He had everything packed and shipped within 2 weeks (Holiday week in between).  Everything was well packed and arrived without any damage.  We would recommend this store without hesitation.  Great experience and very nice people.

This is the second time I've been to the UPS Store In Marshalltown. Both times I've was quoted an outrageous price. Yesterday, I took in a 16x24 framed watercolor with glass. I was quoted $49 to package it and $149 to send it to Los Gatos CA. I said no way. She then quoted me a USPS price of $412.00. I said that's crazy and went to my post office it cost just under $33.00 to send it. I will never go there again. Very unfriendly girl.

Will not answer the phone. Also I went to mail a package internationally and the person working hadn't been trained to ship internationally. I made the 30 mile drive just to mail this package and was told the manager would be back after 4 and could mail the package for me.  I've called 7 times and left a message, not wanting to drive and have this happen again.  No answer, no callback. Ridiculous. I do not recommend this location.
