Dusty very very helpful and patient with y shopping, he made sure I try different tope of Birkenstocks so I could find the right pair, I had just left 5th Avenue and their service was poor compared to Dusty.

My Madrid Birkenstocks received new cork, soles and taps. They are so very comfortable to wear. Thanks to your great cobbler and staff. I purchased a pair of Birk’s hiking saddles which are super comfortable walking around Hawaii. Thank you Desert Birkenstock.

I was driving through Las Vegas on a road trip and on a whim decided to check out the store. After speaking with a sales rep she informed me that they recraft sandals. They breathed new life into my 7 year old berks and they are as good as new with fresh cork and soles. The customer service was excellent, they called me when the sandals were shipped out and even gave me a thank you card. You now have a customer for life!

Clean store, excellent customer service. Employees took time to listen to what I needed to help me decide on a shoe and took time to make sure my shoes fit correctly. I’m very happy with the shoes I got & the service. If your feet are bothering you go check them out with their knowledgeable employees! Parking isn’t the best.

McU Sports

We were so impressed by the service with McU Sports. We had a group of 19 wanting to ride bikes. We needed to fill in a lot of gaps in our bike lineup. They were quick to answer the call and work WITH us to figure it all out. Incredible service!

A super solid shop for not only bikes but everything outdoor and sports in general it seems!

I came in to get a frame warranty after multiple unsuccessful attempts at other shops.

These fine folks knew exactly what they were doing and were able to get the frame checked in, perform the warranty process, and get a new frame back in an astonishingly short amount of time. Of course individual mileage may vary but I was very happy with this service!

Great experience over the years here with ski stuff and mountain bikes. Have always had great, honest work when having my bikes worked on - even got a sweet loaner for a ride I had planned. This is a legacy shop that helps take care of the customer and promote the sport for the Boise area. A must support local shop to keep it around.

I commute on my bike... which means a lot of miles. So when I saw my trusty tires were starting to literally fall apart, I realized it had been way to long since I had my bike serviced. Like 7000 miles too long. I met Rob when I was dropping off and his expertise was evident immediately. He understood how much I loved my bike and that I had been terrible to it and wanted to make it up by getting everything taken care of at once.

I just picked up and road for a while and let me tell you, the result is amazing. It is riding better now than it was when I first got it, which I didn't think was possible. I know other techs at the shop worked on it as well as Rob, and they were all so patient and helpful when I had questions. Friendly, knowledgable, and willing to explain simple things that I really should know already.

If you need work done on your bike, bring it to McU and know you are getting value in every way.

I stumbled into the store during my lunch and made great connections with the staff and other shoppers. Ray was a great help and offered great advice. I ended up leaving with a brand new board that I'd been eyeing online and I will be going back for boots and bindings. These guys undoubtedly have the best selection of boards, boots and bindings in the valley and they've earned my business.

Foot Dynamics

I have neuropathy in both feet and went to Foot Dynamics hoping to find some relief.  The staff was very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable.  I ended up getting custom orthotics and new shoes that provide better arch support and a wider toe box so that my feet have more room.  While they can't cure the neuropathy they sure did help.  I'm able to take longer hikes without my feet feeling like they're on fire.  I was so pleased with the whole experience that I went back in to get fitted for custom ski boots which I can't wait to try out.  I'll review those once I've had a chance to use them but It's highly recommend Foot Dynamics of you have problem feet, are hard to fit, it just want great from a store that knows get and shoes.

I suffer from plantar fasciitis and I work on my feet all day. I was experiencing extreme daily foot pain. I saw their podiatrist and had custom shoe inserts made. I've worn them every day for two years now and I've been free from foot pain the entire time! I tried many things before finding Foot Dynamics and none of them worked. I am forever grateful to them. I just referred my son there, too. I highly recommend this place to anyone struggling with foot pain. They can help you.

Amazing customer service! My boyfriend works 12+ hours/day on his feet and needed some help with figuring out which shoes would be best for his job. We were helped right away and purchased much more comfortable shoes in under 30 minutes. Provided great information as well. Definitely would recommend!

Foot dynamics has a very knowledgeable staff who always make sure the shoes you buy fit your feet correctly.  Great selection of the comfort and orthopedic type shoes that help with all sorts of foot issues.  Can make inserts for your shoes and special order shoes if they don’t have in stock.  My husband and I came out with several pairs of shoes and will definitely shop here again.

The were able to do everything remotely which is fantastic since it's too far for me to travel to. This includes discussion of my cycling which is about 100 to 120 miles per week and the numbness I was experiencing in my feet. They helped me with my shoes and also using molds sent to me (easy to do), have crafted custom orthotics for my bike riding.

Shoe Station

We had to come get a pair of shoes for two in my party on this day.
I needed a pair of men's dress shoes for my work, and was satisfied with the selection available to me.  The prices were reasonable, with several pairs on sale in that category.
My son was looking for some crocs, but we found the selection lacking. We ended up not buying anything for him.
We were never greeted in the store by anyone until we got to the register.  A couple of the employees even walked by us without a word.
The store was clean and neat, with the shelves in order.  We did not use the restroom, so we do not know if one is available for public use.
We will probably come back, but would like to have the feeling that the store employees were glad we were there.

Great selection of moderately priced shoes for dress or casual wear and clearance items

Fairly prices shoes and plenty to choose from. The only bad thing is that basically, every single aisle is a trip hazard if you are looking at something on the top shelf because they have all the freight they are stocking sitting in the middle of the floor

I am always glad to come in to shop here, love the employees that work there, they are always kind and curtious to me, also very helpful. The owner is cool, not to mention it down to earth. He is always glad to help if I have a problem or question with a product/merchandise you purchased from one of his stores. That is great customer service, first class all the way.

As you can imagine, it was extremely busy at McU because of all the people needing rentals. However, we received quick and professional help from Nate. He was on top of getting everyone fitted, and did it all with a smile! Great service.

Went here for downhill ski equipment rentals. Was a lot simpler to just go and get sized and head to the mountain. We got there right when they opened, and still didn't end up with ski poles in our size. This place is very popular and I recommend renting the night before as they only charge you for the upcoming day.

I have only been here twice.  I bought a pair of sunglasses when I was in town 5 or 6 years ago and I wear them almost every day, though they are a little darker than I like.  I have been back to Boiseamyntimes since, but my friend and I just napped to drive by on this trip and I decided to stop and get a new pair... finally.  Staff has always been very nice.  This store is fairly small so not a huge selection of anything, but enough to stop in for some basics.

What a deal and what amazing staff! I went into the shop looking for some new skis for my son and man what a great experience. I got a killer deal (it is March ;) ), and had such a great time talking with the people who were there. They answered every question and made me feel really welcome. I will definitely be coming back.

Eagle Eye Outfitters

Love Eagle eye most of all my clothes come from their store. I  know this shouldn't matter, but it does. Being an African American, we shy from going into a pretty dominated white store, but I have ever had a problem there. Customer service has always been helpful and friendly.

Big selection of upscale casual and outdoor wear plus sunglasses and shoes. Upstairs is kept for clearance items at reduced prices. Expect high quality and prices to match.

They have a very nice men’s selection, many different brands. Shoes, clothes shirts, jackets belts. Sometimes you can find some good deals on the clearance rack. Would very much so recommend.

Horrible customer service. Wasn't welcomed in. But stared at. Didn't even get into the mens section and two different people approached us asking what we needed.
Maybe give customers some breathing room. The friendliest associate was upstairs in the children's section. Cashier section was entirely too slow. Ended up walking out.

Rosendahl Foot & Shoe Center

Very responsive and courteous people work there. A very comfortable and good atmosphere. I was taken care of right away.

I contacted Rosendahls because I needed new shoes with specialized orthotics.  I chose to go to the Nampa location, which has a spacious interior and large displays of shoes.  Dillon, who was my contact, was patient, thorough and careful.  He noted all of my foot needs, made molds during my visit, and showed me the type of shoe that would fit me best.  Once I chose my shoes he noted the alterations needed and scheduled me for a 2 week follow up. I received my shoes, tried them on and found that they fit well and were very comfortable.
I will use Rosendahls in the future because I was very pleased with the overall service and Dillon's attentive manner.

Phenomenal customer service, and Brett was so knowledgeable. I walked in after having foot pain for months, and walked out with orthotics that were comfortable and worked with my current shoes. They had a great selection and lots of help finding what I needed. Thanks Brett! :)

Well...it FINALLY happened! Lol. I completely wore out both soles of the Birkenstocks (which I purchased from "Rosenthal's/BOI") and I was slightly into the cork on my right shoe heel (driving foot). So...I had to go to my alt sandals (I have many) and take the trusty 'hippie sandals' in for clean/repair/restore/re-sole attention. Was worried that my feet might get sunburned by not wearing the twin lateral leather stripes (yes I do have prominent 'Birk-tans!') Dropped them off on Monday, July 31st and was told it might take up to 10-to-14 biz days to complete. "No problem."
Brett called me today, Wed Aug 2nd and advised they were ready for pickup. $58 total. 2-days! As usual, an excellent job was done. It's like breaking in a brand new pair of Birkenstocks (sole-wise); the inner customize to individual feet leather's were like slipping on an 'old trusted friend' once again. Greatly appreciated the work, courtesy, and expediting of my work order. I highly recommend either shop (Boise or Nampa, I've been to both over many years). You COULD buy your shoes on-line, it might be slightly cheaper in price; but you'll never get the 5-star local service they provide day-in and day-out. Support them. You don't have to have 'foot or insole problems' either, just feet to put stuff on (they have it all...besides only shoes). I'm very pleased (again).

Tradehome Shoes

Went to Tradehome in the Boise mall this afternoon with my son. I normally keep to myself and try not to interact with people while shopping; but Nathan and the other guy working there were so great! The other guy was super sweet striking up a conversation with my 8 year old son about video games; while Nathan was equally as sweet, patient, and kind helping me pick the perfect shoes. I was so impressed that we even picked up shoes for my son too. 🙂 Thank you!!

Jacob was awesome helping me find the right shoes! He didn't hesitate to help me go through several pairs and knew exactly what to try next based on what I was looking for. While I normally feel awkward and lost in stores like this Jacob helped me feel comfortable taking my time to find the right fit.

Very helpful staff. Eli is super funny, knows great suggestions for what type of shoe would be best for the activity your going to go enjoy. I went in thinking about one brand, he sold me a brand that felt like walking on clouds. My back has never felt so good, I feel like I could be in a 5k and I hate running. Thanks so much you guys! And I can't forget about the socks. Who knew there were so many different socks?

I just left Trade Home Shoes with my mom. We had been looking for Birkenstocks. We came in and had the blessing of meeting Jacob. He not only helped us out above and beyond, but he was the kindest person I have met in a long time. My mom has polio and he was so helpful to find her perfect size on each foot. Jacob is THE BEST. Trade Home Shoes is blessed to have him and we will be back to see him again. THANK YOU JACOB!!

I purchased a pair oh Hoka shoes and the transaction was very pleasant and professional.  I returned the shoes one week later to a different employee that offered too much unnecessary unprofessional unsolicited harassment that made my transaction very disgusting.  I never asked for cash back plus the employee said he couldn't resell the shoes. I only wore the shoes for two days at my job and didn't feel comfortable.  What is the purpose of the 30 day return exchange policy if one will be humiliated and talked like a dumb person if the employee doesn't practice good manurism and understands not to speak unnecessary oxygen/time words that can escalate to arguments.  No bueno.

Wonderful experience! The manager Yordy was super nice and helped me get what I needed quickly! Also brought out some other recommendations that fit my style. Would shop here again :)

UPDATE: Journeys reached out (check response) and asked me to email them so they could further assist me. After I shared the photo (again) they said it was wear and tear and told me there was nothing they could do.

My converse ripped down the side within the 30 day return window but they said it was normal wear and tear and refused to exchange them.

I’ve shopped here for years, but my recent encounter was not helpful at all. I was gifted some burks for my birthday but did not fit me! Mind you I ONLY tried them only on and realized they were too small. So I went in and asked if I can get a bigger size and they told me they didn’t have a bigger size so I asked if I can get a refund but they told me that if I only had the gift receipt I can only exchange the shoes for something else, unless I can get the card that was used to refund. So I started looking around when one of the employees said I could not even exchange because the shoes has a smudge? And when I went  ahead and looked at it for myself  ITS GLUE from the shoe?!!!! That’s a factory problem!  They told me they couldn’t not take the shoe because it “store policy”? I called the person who gifted them to me to let them know what was going on and they told me that the shoe already had the smudge on it, she had noticed it when she was looking at them  but didn’t think I would mind which I wouldn’t have!!! There is also glue on the rim of the burks! So how is this my fault that I get left with shoes that were gifted to me and don’t fit!!!! I will definitely try going in again to see if someone else can help!

Went to today to look for a pair of shoes. We were helped by a young man that has the last name as I. He was very helpfull, professional and very upbeat. Left with three pairs.

Great selection, best in Boise. Staff is very friendly, informative and helpful with any and all questions. Doesn't hover over you while you shop but let's you know they are their to help! Checkout was simple, no lines at noon. And I found exactly what I was looking for. Would recommend to family friends and strangers. I will definitely be coming back in the future.
