Bryson was a pleasure to work with. I had scheduled nine dryer vent cleaning’s in our condo community, and in the end, it turned out to be 12! He was flexible and easy to work with. From the minute he got here he got to work! it took him nearly 3/4 of the day, but he got everyone done and everyone is extremely happy with the results! I highly recommend this business!

I needed my dryer vent cleared out, and I was able to schedule online (I love that!). Bryson arrived promptly with a friendly smile, and he got the vent cleaned quickly and for a reasonable price. I was able to pay via Venmo, so the whole process was very convenient. I will definitely call these guys for any issues in the future!

Bryson was all things great, super responsive. Couldn’t believe how fast I was able to get in, I was able to squeeze in the next day which worked perfectly for exiting my rental. The carpets looked great, super happy from start to finish. Highly recommend.

My carpet is fresh and free of the previous owners cats and my dryer vent yielded handfuls of yucky stuff! The best part came with Bryson’s ethics when he offered to return if I should notice any further animal odors!

We feel lucky we found The Maids. They have been extremely helpful for us on a recurring schedule, and have even helped out on short notice. They are dependable and show up exactly when they promise!

Purple team is great! We like that we have the same team in our house each visit, it really helps with them knowing our focus areas and gives us a chance to get to know them. I can't say enough good things about the Red Team lead by Abigail!!  They are pleasant, hard working and efficient. Always with a smile. We were so impressed by these women that when we resumed the Maids' cleaning services after a 6 month break during Covid, we specifically asked for the Red Team.  The office staff is very service oriented and responsive. The day before a clean they call with a 30-45 minute arrival window and only once in 7 years has this time been missed (not their fault) with calls alerting me to the situation and apologies.  With advance notice, additional areas can be cleaned which is really nice.  Price is competive and of excellent value.  Highly recommend The Maids of Durham-Chapel Hill!!!!!

Good company offering fair prices. Teams do an excellent job of cleaning up my messes and, compared with an individual cleaner (Maids team is 3 or 4 people), they’re in and out quicker. As a retiree, I appreciate that. The team of women are friendly and delightful.

The 'Blue' team with leader Saneth has done a great job cleaning my condo today. They worked fast but were thorough. They always on time, they work hard and they are also friendly and professional.
The Maids of Durham have been cleaning  my condo for at least 10 years and I am happy with them.

Paul Davis Restoration and Remodeling of Suburban Virginia

As a Regional Manager for a Class A property in Northern Virginia, I recently faced a daunting challenge: a substantial flood that impacted 60 of our apartments. In this crisis, we experienced truly outstanding service that deserves a glowing 5-star review.

From the moment the team arrived, they exhibited a level of professionalism and expertise that instantly reassured us. Their quick response was just the beginning. They immediately devised a comprehensive plan for remediation, showcasing their depth of knowledge and efficiency.

What stood out the most was their exceptional people skills. They were not just friendly but also displayed genuine care and understanding towards our residents, who were understandably distressed. Their ability to communicate effectively and empathize with the residents during such a difficult time was remarkable.

The team's daily reporting and updates were nothing short of stellar. Overpriced Company that used Sub-Contractors of Sub-Contractors, who tried to fraudulently charge me for non-existent work.

This is my experience with Paul Davis.

The cost estimation process was very professional, they a gay came to my home and took very clear pictures of the damage which was very fortunate for the insurance company. (This alone would have earned them 2/5 stars, but they/ their sub-contractor tried to cheat me)

Everything afterword's... 👎👎👎

When the project manager first came to the house I told him that I was expecting guests in a little over a week and that the work needed to be done by then. He said "Yeah, we should be able to do that"

Work starts on a Thursday, I have a ceiling painted and the painter leaves a nasty bubble in the ceiling. When I point it out he says:

"Oh itll dry out" (It didn't),
"Ill be be back tomorrow" (He didn't), matter of fact NOBODY SHOWED UP. I made it clear we were on a tight schedule and absolutely no work is done Friday, day wasted.

The Project Manager became very difficult to reach, turns out he disappeared because suddenly I have a new project manager half way through the project 😫.

Ill summarize up the final week:

- It was not explained to me the Luxury Vinyl Tile does not come with cushioning underneath, no they glued tile directly on uneven basement foundation, leaving an uneven floor. (I payed additional out of pocket of this!!!)

- They didnt tell me that it didnt come with a transition piece so one was picked for me!

- I had tile placed unevenly, which affected transition pieces, again it wasnt until the tile was already purchased that im made aware there is no transition piece and one is provided. (Damaged), now I have a damaged transition piece in my newly renovated kitchen

- The toilet was replaced but wasnt removed and left in my living room

- The shoe molding around my kitchen island was horrendous! HORRENDOUS! and had to be redone.

- They put back original shoe molding damadged

- My fridge and oven was not assembled and put back together - both were in my living room when guests arrived!!!😫😫

- Spots were calking was missed

- At the end the sent two barely old enough to drink kids to fix mistakes from previous workers and they left wood chipped pieces all over my front driveway that I had to clean up

THE KICKER - I was ready to just call this a learning experience and walk away. But then, the sub-contractor reached out to me directly saying I still owed $1,600? My insurance company inquires into the extra amount and there is no response for about 4 work days. This tells me they have no reason. (Because who doesnt want to get paid in this economy)

Turns out they blatantly and fraudulently asked me for $1600 for some work THAT WAS NEVER REQUESTED OR EVEN DONE. Either Paul Davis or the Sub-Contractor figured they could squeeze more money out of my insurance because APPARENTLY THIS IS COMMON PRACTICE FOR VIRGINIA CONTRACTORS!

DISGUSTING

I cannot recommend Paul Davis' services and cannot remain quit after such unethical behavior from a company that promises PROFESSIONALISM, something i did not experience outside the project managers themselves.

TLDR: DO NOT HIRE PAUL DAVIS unless you are ready to pay extra from sub-par performance and are willing to sit, hover, and watch the contractors with before and after pictures. My experience was frustrating, stressful, terrible and they tried to cheat me. 👎👎👎

Paul Davis did an amazing job on some repairs due to limb damage.  Tommy was great at coordinating the work and was extremely fast in getting the crews out to handle the repairs.  He was a great communicator and made sure we knew exactly what was going to happen and when.  I hope to not need restoration services again, but if I do, I'll be sure to call Paul Davis back to handle them!

I was very impressed with the mitigation services provided by Paul Davis. The communication was incredible; whenever I had a question or concern, someone from the team responded right away.  They were through and careful with their assessments and handling of my things.

Look no more, their mitigation services are top notch and the most professional and courteous we’ve ever seen. Special recognition to Kenny and Sean for an outstanding job controlling our situation and to Tommy for managing the circus that is all things related to water damage repairs. We’re not done yet but we’re delighted to have found Paul Davis to help manage our residential crisis.

The Maids do a remarkable job! My house always smells so fresh when they leave, with sparking floors and counter tops. I like how they clean the floor right until the moment they exit. They are very efficient with their time. I also appreciate the easy communication beforehand, especially if I need something extra cleaned last minute. 100% recommend.

We have used the MAIDS for over a decade and would recommend them without hesitation.  As you can imagine, over the course of this many years, there are times when our team has changed, but we they have always done outstanding work. They are on time, cordial, and efficient.  The main office is also very easy to work with an extraordinarily accommodating when there are last minute schedule changes.

The Maids have cleaned our house once weekly for several years now. The cleaners are personable, efficient, and thorough – also tolerant of our pets! I do recommend them.

The Maids team has visited my home for over a month.  They are thorough, friendly and do an excellent job  vacuuming, washing my floor and cleaning my kitchen.  I am going through cancer treatment now and their help is greatly appreciated.

We had a great experience with The Maids!  They called the day before to give us an arrival window and they arrived in that time frame.  We had Team 7 and they did a great job cleaning!  The house looks so much better now!  And they were all very nice and polite. :)

Team of 4 cleaning ladies came on time. Team #4 lead, Yovi, and I spoke about our cleaning priorities for the house for the day. She shared the plan with her team. The team did a great job and payed extra attention to the items discussed with the Team lead ahead of time. The house (5 bathrooms, 5 bedrooms, large kitchen) looked great when they were done. The final bill even ended up being a little lower than their initial estimate when we setup the appointment! The team was also very respectful of our 2 cats and 1 dog that were in the house. Very happy and recommend The Maids!

I had used the Maids precovid and started again in  March with Monthly service.  Yovi (team #4) have been the best. They clean perfectly and take care of all the little things others would skip.  I highly recommend Yovi and her team.

The same team comes every week, they are reliable, professional and friendly. We trust their quality work and their ethics. I give the general service 4 starts but  Team #8 Lorena goes above and beyond to understand our family’s changing needs and deserves 5 stars.

The Maids in Manassas

Service was amazing! The team came in and didn't waste time in jumping in and getting things done. They left my entire house looking sparkly and smelling great. Fans, blinds, baseboards, etc... things I haven't been able to get in a while were taken care of. Kitchen looked amazing and I would certainly hire this company again for their services. The ladies were very respectful and considerate of my work from home status.

The Red Team is awesome ladies I would ask for them again next month. I just wish that the owners can come up with a price that solid. The first time they clean my house it was a confusing to which to clean after I have spoken To Robert. And today is the same thing. Overall the ladies did a wonderful job.

We have been with the Maids for almost twenty years at our original home in Arlington, VA and then engaged with them to help us with our second home out in wine/horse country in Delaplane VA two years ago when we found out they could provide service at this home. This house is much larger and more modern than the other in that we completely renovated every room in the 3 story country home. They, like at the other house, were superb. We couldn't have asked for more. Highly recommend. :O)

I scheduled a deep clean and essentially got a regular cleaning. They didn’t put things back in place (throwing shoes in the corner instead of where it was neatly placed), left some trash on my floor and didn’t throughly clean the bathroom). For the price, I was quite disappointed in the quality.

Edit: I received a call from Robert who showed great concern for my issues and profusely apologized. He also ensured this would be resolved. I can definitely appreciate the customer service!

Edit 2: I have received two additional calls from them, still so apologetic about the service I received and they are ensuring that my concerns will be addressed next time! This is one of the best customer service I’ve received! I can tell they genuinely care and go above and beyond for their customers! I have to go from 2 stars to 4, just for that!

He is timely in responding, extremely professional, and gives excellent customer service from start to finish. We are in the process of renting our home of 7 years. As an owner of a cat who LOVED to scratch carpet, we were in desperate need of replacement through most of the home. We have one set of stairs and a room that didn’t need to be replaced, and we wanted to save money where we could. Eric was amazing at matching our current color and offered higher end and renters grade carpet. I never once felt pressured to go in a direction I wasn’t comfortable with. I was ready to change my carpets but a friend in Maryland recommended Custom Cleaning Pro back in 2019. I used their services to clean my rental property after renters moved out leaving the carpet in very bad shape. The before and after was out of this world.

In 2021 i converted my property into an Airbnb and Eric is now my preferred vendor to keep the place pristine. He does a great job with carpets, tile, upholstery and just keeps the entire property spic and span.
I highly recommend this small and local business.

Water Damage Restoration - My house's basement was severely flooded and a friend did referral me to Custom Cleaning Pro. I can't regret having called them. They did such a great job. They came after hours to take care of the first steps. At least, the damage was not bigger. They were able to contact my insurance company and work with me during the whole process to get everything in place. The process was smooth and my basement was back in business in three weeks. The reconstruction was also covered. I am pleased with their service—100% recommended.

Erick came and cleaned our carpets and they’re like new again!!   He’s so nice and polite and cares about his work!  I would totally recommend his company!
