I had a flood in my house and the work done by the Paul Davis team was exceptional. The attention to detail, professionalism and responsiveness to my requests and needs was excellent. I would definitely recommend Paul Davis to anyone.

Do not use this company! Would give zero stars if I could! This Bay City location is terrible! They took 3 months to finish a job they told us would be done in 2 weeks. We would take off work to be home when they said they were coming, and no one would show up. We would call but no one seemed to know what was going on or took charge. No one ever apologized for all of the times no one came. Every week day they said we will be back tomorrow, they showed up for about three hours a day for two to three days weekly. Never covered huge holes. Each different employee that came would talk terribly about the other employees and their boss about how awful they were. The company does have a 'secretary' but she's completely unorganized and never seems to have any answers. I talked to owner about my issues with company and he was upset that I bothered him personally. His name is Jason A. Horrible people skills. In it for money only and doesn't care about the service his company gives. We weren't sure they were ever coming back to finish. We had to jump through hoops just to get work what we had paid for done. We later found out one of the workers was hospitalized with covid. I was told by Aubrey (the secretary) that he should have been calling me personally to tell me he wasn't coming. Even while he was in the hospital?! In the contract, and we were charged for, we were told there would be a clean up crew at the end that would come in and wipe down our cupboard and clean up the drywall mess. Never happened. They did sweep before they left each day, but that was the extent of the cleanup. This company is a joke. I hope this review saves someone the stress, time and money we went through. They don't do half of the stuff you will end up paying for in contract.

I love this company. They have been nothing but extremely helpful. I feel they are more on top of their game than the insurance and much more caring. I have been using them to help my mother and feel anyone in the same boat, should do the same. I am still in the process of getting help so have to wait to see the finished product still. Going by the way things have been so far..I'm eager to see the finished product. Jeremy, Austin, and Nick are all great.

We’ve used Paul Davis for a multitude of things in the past, and most recently for our flooded basement. Each and every time they do an EXCEPTIONAL job with whatever the task is. Jason, Nick, and the rest of the Paul Davis team did an amazing job helping my family through a not so amazing situation and making sure we had nothing to worry about on our end. Thanks again guys!!

Paul Davis is top notch! When you are in a panic you know they are they for you. They have very nice people working for them and they all take pride in their quality of work. It shows! Sunroom broken window part promptly ordered and replaced. Friendly, efficient installers.

We had a huge window that got broken. I called them and was greeted by a friendly and helpful staff person.
The process was simple, they sent out a person to take measurements and gave me an estimate within 2 days. I accepted the estimate, paid half down an approximately a week or so later had a call at my glass was in and set a date and time to put it.
This was an extremely smooth process and I highly recommend them.

Even though these guys were busy they still took the time to work with me and made me feel like I was priority.  And on top of that they did great glass work.  Thanks Glass Doctor!

Great service all around.  Office personnel are friendly.  The techs that came out were great despite having a full day of last minute appointments.  They installed my windshield at my home.  Arrived and finished within the window given.  No complaints here. I highly recommend their service!

A dog that I previously had literally broke a window by jumping through the glass in my enclosed back porch. I was worried that replacing the glass was going to be expensive or someone would try telling me that the entire window needed to be replaced. I called The Glass Doctor and they came out quickly to take a look. Fast!! I called around and got the best quote and soonest appointment time. The Glass Doctor is a LOCAL shop willing to talk about the process. I left the keys and payment in car, a great job was done while I was away. The work area outside was left clean.  TGD worked with my insurance and everything is back to normal. Will call again and recommend to anyone needing glass work.

I had such a great experience with Glass Doctor of Highland that i thought worth sharing. It took a little over a week for the glass to come in. I was able to schedule the installation the following week.  They arrived on time to the scheduled appointment and they even called to say they were on thier way.  Once they arrived, both of them took their shoes off immediately which I greatly appreciated and they did this every time they went in and out of the house to get the glass pieces.  They were professional. efficient, and knew exactly what they were doing and the whole job was over in less than an hour to replace 2 galss doorwalls and a window.  They took care to clean up afterwards as well.  I would highly recommend this company. They do great work! Thank you.

Glass Doctor fixed my windshield in 30 minutes. Looks great. Two technicians showed up on time and were professional. Amazing job!

Made appointment, they called to change appointment to a sooner day. I was glad and agreed. They called on the day of installation and had to reschedule because someone was sick. I agreed but was unhappy. I was asked if I wanted between 10am-2pm or a later in the afternoon appointment. I chose the 10-2 time and Was told someone, a tech/installer would be calling me to clarify the time they would be able to get here. Never received a call so by 1:15 pm I called the office and the manager/owner told me he wasn’t sure where his tech was and would have to find out and call me back. I never received a call back so I called again and was placed on hold for at least ten minutes. I hung up and called back when I did they told me the tech would be calling me soon. Well it was already past my appointment time by almost 30 minutes. I tried calling back again to tell them to never mind and to cancel the appointment and they immediately put me on hold. I hung up and called again and they answered and immediately hit the hold button once again.Therefore, once the tech finally did call me I kindly canceled the appointment. I wasted my whole day waiting around for them. I was kind but direct on the phone! Very much lack of communication internally to take care of the customer. It’s a shame for I like using local companies but this one I will not use!

I called 3 window companies to replace my car window. I was told it was weeks to months of a wait. Glass Doctor of Grand Blanc had my window in less than 24 hours and installed it in 2 hours. The staff was courteous and I appreciate their service.

They did my repair quickly and for a very fair price.  Everyone I dealt with was extremely friendly, including the lady who scheduled the appointments (Cole), the tech who did the estimate, and the tech who did the work.  I would definitely recommend The Glass Doctor.

Brian the installer did excellent on installing 4 passenger windows in my GMC Sierra. Did a thorough vacuum and left the site clean. He was early and finished before his given time. 10/10

Ace Handyman Services Chattanooga

Randy did a great job for me. He was very professional and contacted me to set up the appointment and arrived promptly. He installed a PVC pipe on my A/C condensation pipe to take the water away from the foundation. He also put up some brackets in my garage to hold ladders. I will definitely use ACE Handyman Services in the future and certainly recommend. Thanks Randy! Great work and conversation!

Mike was the contractor. We felt he did a fair job but did not hang the ceiling fan or add the thermostat, which were both included in the price quote. He hung a light but there was a gap in the ceiling which he totally disregarded. He painted the walls and left paint on the ceiling. He did offer to come back to hang the ceiling fan after we bought another one but when we tried to reach him, he would not respond.
I called the company and spoke with Randy, who said he would send a check to reimburse us for the services that were quoted but not done.
I tried calling Randy after waiting more than a week and my message was not returned.

I would NOT recommend this company due to the poor work and lack of integrity demonstrated.

Mike G. of the Chattanooga office completed a number of jobs for me including gutter cleaning & repair, entry door installation, soffit and trim repairs, porch column replacement, pressure washing, and exterior house painting. The work was started and completed in a professional and timely manner. I'm very happy with the results and highly recommend their services.

randy came out last week to swap out a leaky kitchen faucet and replace a couple shutoff valves that no longer work. did a great job and overcame some issues that he ran into like a pro. we've had him do work for us for years now and his work has always held up great. fast service that you can rely on and and it very fairly priced.

I called in and talked to Randy.  He asked for a couple of photos of my problem. I sent him my photos and within minutes he called back to discuss my issues!  We worked the problem over the phone, and he saved me a ton of money on how to fix it myself!  I didn’t know how to start and he was gracious enough to let me know I could fix it simply and cheaper!  Not a lot of businesses will do that these days! A huge thank you to Randy!  I would definitely recommend calling them for any of your handyman needs!  I will use them in the future for sure!  Hope this helps others looking for an honest handyman in the future!

We have used this company many times over the last 10 years and have never had a negative experience.  They are professional, skilled and reliable.  They are always our first call when any project arises.

My friend's house flooded while she was on vacation, and from out of town, my friends were able to coordinate with first Morgan on the phone, and then Daniel. I was able to meet Daniel and let him in the house. He updated me every step of the way, and showed up right when he said he would. Despite my panic while trying to handle things for my friends, Daniel was calm, knowledgeable, thorough, and explained everything to help put me at ease. He video chatted with the homeowners, made recommendations of how to best proceed, and brought in all the right people to take care of things. The truck he had come in was here within an hour and they didn't leave on day 1 until aftwe 8PM. Chris and his crew were also great. All the guys were friendly, kind, and made sure to help me feel comfortable as I literally waded through this uncharted territory. Very grateful.

You are always involved, I think, with people who are undergoing loss and disruption. But your agent, Mr Varnell, and your workman, Mr Shipley, are calm and efficient, and good-natured. They represent your organization very well.

When one must call on a restoration company, it obviously means some disaster or tragedy has happened.  It isn't a good time.  Our damage resulted from about 16,000 gallons of water (according to uti8itie readings) being released in a house we were remodeling, destroying new cabinets (installed less than 24 hours prior), new flooring, and drenching some existing carpet.  It was devastating. It took close to 3 weeks to "dry-out" the house before restoration could begin.  Our Homeowners holder referred us to PaulDavis Restoration. John Ruebusch, Vice President headed up our restoration project.  Although there were some bumps in the road, John promised that he would "fix it" and that it would be restored to the state it was in ,or better than,  before the incident.  He was true to his word.  With the job complete, we are not moving forward with the remodel and occupancy of the house we purchases in December, 2020.

Northville Lumber's Novi Home Design Center

They ordered and delivered the wrong size windows.  There refused to pay to resize the rough opening to use the windows that were ordered too big.  They said the reorder and delay our occupancy by 6 weeks. Will not do business again.

Tim and Kyle were very professional and very accommodating. They installed a large second floor window that required the opening  to be enlarged considerably. They did a great job. The price was competitive.

Excellent experience.  Ray worked hard to find us options to replace some non-standard windows.  Dan and his installers, Tim and Jim, did great work.  They were professional, polite, and cleaned up completely.  The new windows have made our 60 year old house feel like a new place.  Thanks everyone.

We regret working with Mike Hart and Ralph Lobaito to get our door and lock.

First, they ordered the wrong door, and held it in their store for months before letting us know. Then they tried to give us a shoddy work-around. Then they tried to gaslight us into thinking they gave us back the full refund. They were discourteous, and deciteful. This is the first one star review I have ever given and it is well deserved. Buyer beware.

We had a front door replaced on 1969 home. Our old door was ancient. We picked out a door and door handles with the help of Ray the salesman. He said it would take about two months to come in due to the custom nature of the door. The door came in and two excellent installers did an outstanding job. Took their time and meticulous in the install. Really appreciate good business practices and excellent care of the installation. No hiccups,no problems. Excellent experience.

Our floor drain in the furnace room overflowed, soaking a carpeted section of our finished basement, some drywall and molding.
Our plumber recommended Daron Underwood’s Company for restoration services.
He checked the affected areas  and told us how  to dry everything and possibly avoid mold.
He made a return visit after the carpet dried and recommended that cleaning the carpet with a disinfectant and resetting the dehumidifier would be all we needed.
Daron was described by our plumber as honest, fair, professional and trustworthy. I agree. I highly recommend him for professional restoration services.

Darron and Brandon were great to work with.  Communicated well, came promptly once I discovered the scope of the work, and incredibly professional.  In a much quicker time than I expected, they had my room cleared out, demo'd, and cleaned.  Mold testing came back negative on the first try without any additional remediation required.  Can't recommend these guys enough.

Last May, Daron, and his crew showed up the same day I called to remediate some water damage caused by my leaking dishwasher. Not only did they correct the cupping in my hardwood floors, but they also sprayed environmentally friendly mold preventers. I could not have asked for a better restoration job, plus I avoided costly home insurance claim.

Can we talk piece of mind? Daron and team did an amazing job drying out my basement quickly, efficiently and educated me along the way. After my restoration was complete, Daron came back to do the final cleaning of my carpets and I can't believe how well they turned out. Having his expertise in a difficult situation definately put my mind at ease.  Knowing that he took care of everything and my basement will continue to be a safe place for my family to enjoy is priceless.
