Eads Fence Company

Eads installed a three board Kentucky Wood Fence for me a couple weeks ago. It was almost 300 ft. and in 6 1/2 hrs. I had my backyard fenced in with two gates.
The crew arrived on time, very professional, clean up was great and they made sure I was satisfied with my project before leaving.
Eads has very good communication also. They projected a time and it was actually done a couple weeks sooner than expected. Yea!
Good quality, great price and good workmanship also.
I chose to NOT have them remove the dirt that is by the posts so I can use it to fill in some holes in my yard.
I would recommended Eads to anyone!

EADS installed our beautiful fence in the spring of 2015. We have been extremely happy. Over the course of the 8+ years some settling has occurred and 2 of the 4 gates needed re-aligning. They took care of it pronto. I highly recommend EADS if you are considering having a fence installed.

Billy was fantastic! Started the job and didn’t stop until it was finished. It took a little longer than estimated but he worked straight through without a break or anything! So impressed and love the time, stress, and probable martial spat that was avoided by using this service! Already thinking up my next project!

Great company; the Staff is always pleasant and the men who work on the jobs are very professional and do a wonderful job.  I have used their services for a number of jobs and have always been very satisfied (drywall, painting, fixing fence posts and cleaning gutters, putting up shelves, installing a new range hood are some of the things the crew from Ace Handyman has done.  Christy,, in the Office, is always pleasant and does a wonderful job.  I highly recommend this Company for any job you may have.  Will definitely use them in the future for any job I may have.

If I could give a minus 10 I would. Nice people. Yes very. Professional. Absolutely not. Quality of work. Unknown since I had to fire them. I received a bid for my job of $4800. I felt it was more than I could afford so when the contractor came we talked about it and I cut back on some of the work. The next day I became very ill and decided I wanted them to finish the work defined by the estimate given me.  On day 3 I received a text from the office stating at the end of the day I would owe a total of $6300. Knowing it was going to take longer than today o finish, I spoke with the contractor. He told me my estimate was based on pictures, they are paid by the hour and they ran into problems. I told him that estimating off pictures was his problem, not mine.  Paid by the hour. Not my problem. When a quote is given you don't get to double it after the fact.  By the end of the job I would have probably owed close to $4000.00 more then the estimate. Buyer beware.

Gary was very polite and professional as well as a first class handyman. He was on time and communicated with me every step of our repairs. We will be using Ace Handyman for all of our work in the future.

Glass Doctor of Lexington

After two failures with contractors to install shower door correctly, I contacted glass makers. Glass Doctor came over and assessed the project which required to uninstall the shower door and stationary panel and reinstall it correctly so that it met building code and lined up with each other.  So grateful that I will never again trust any contractor with an endeavor such as that.  They completed the job in 3 hours and I was ecstatic .

I have had the opportunity to work with Glass Doctor for many years now, and I have to say that I am never left disappointed. From speaking with Blake to get the items ordered and scheduled to working with their field team, they truly are a great company to work with. Their customer service is on point! The Lexington Glass Doctor team were great to work with on our window and rollers replacement project! Aldahir and Justin went above and beyond on their on-site evaluation and installation and did a great job! The side lite window looks great and, although the sliders’ rollers couldn’t be replaced due to other issues, they made every effort to remedy the problem. Blake and Jessica were very responsive and professional in their communications with us…traits which seem to be often lacking these days. We could not be happier with our experience with the Glass Doctor and will not hesitate to use them again!

I’ve had more than 20 contractors at my house making repairs from a wind storm, and the two gentlemen with Glass Doctor were at the top of the list for professionalism and kindness.  They explained what they were doing and cleaned up afterwards both inside and outside my house.  The new window looks better than I could have hoped.

Absolutely blown away! I called Safelite because they had done the windshield in my semi truck twice last year for ~$430. Today when I called, they quoted $1665. That was for just the passenger side. I called the Glass Doctor and they quoted ~$300 out the door. I was very skeptical, but I went to their location to verify. I was asked to sit in the waiting room, presumably for a technician to be available. Less than 10min later, a technician came in and said "you're done". I questioned that and even walked outside to my semi to see a brand new windshield already installed. From the time I walked in, to the time I drove off was 11min. I'm absolutely amazed at the speed and quality of service. You have earned a customer for life. My total was $306, tax included. I'm still in shock.

Called for a quote. They responded quickly and gave price. Very reasonable. Ordered and received when promised and installed when promised. Very good experience.

Very professional.  Theyy were the only glass company I could find who would replace the glass in my existing window frames as opposed to wanting to replace the entire frame, with resulting damage to my walls and need of repainting.

From the time i called about a quote until the time I picked my truck up was very friendly. Very professional,  reasonable,  and  quick.

Paul Davis Restoration of Lexington

0/10 experience for water damage restoration. Their communication was terrible . The contractor that came to my house didn't explain anything. Just had me sign the work authorization telling me it was just an approval for him to work in the house. Ran multiple machines in my house for 4 days before he realized they weren't doing anything because water was still coming out through the drywall. After the leak was fixed the machines ran a couple more days. Costing me hundreds of dollars a day for the "rental" of the machines. They were supposed to be working everything directly with my insurance. Didn't hear anything from them for about 2 months after the water damage mitigation was complete asking for payment so I let them know I needed to contact my insurance company because I was under the impression that they had been talking between each other. I kept Paul Davis up to date with the whole process of me getting the insurance money and all discrepancies I had with that part of the process. I told them exactly when I was going to pay and they told me it was fine then days before I was going to pay everything they call threatening to place a lien. The day I am going to pay they call and tell me the paperwork has been started for the lien. Absolutely disgusting service all the way around. I will never recommend this company to anyone and I will direct anyone I can to other companys such as Big Red Contracting, who showed me how a good contracting company acts.

Ken Gray managed our home repairs after water damage. He was personable and effectively communicated throughout the process, listened and answered any questions we had as things moved forward.  Alex Franco did outstanding repair and painting work and Rick and associates at Eli Plumbing were flexible in scheduling and conscientious and thorough in their work. All those involved were friendly and courteous and respectful of our home. They helped make our "return to normal" as stress-free as possible.

I highly recommend Paul Davis Restoration. The work was excellent, great communication and very professional.

If I could give zero stars I would. Worst company possible that my insurance provider called in to work on our house after a bad storm/tornado. Didn't tarp our roof, didn't board up our windows and didn't dry up the flooring correctly.. we now have bowed flooring. Oh also, we were on vacation when this happened and came back to NONE of the work being done properly. Had to call and have them come back to board the windows. We received roofing paper instead of boards and our own roofer had to come tarp the holes in the roof because Paul Davis said the roof was fine. But, just guess...we owe them a ton of money for "working" on our house. Just appalled by this company. However, if you are stuck with them because of your insurance. Josh, is the only person at the company who is willing to have an honest conversation.

I had a very bad experience with Paul Davis. The work to restore my kitchen after water damage took almost a year, and I was disappointed by the results. The lack of communication delayed scheduling and made working from home challenging with workers coming and going without notice. There was little oversight, and I don’t feel that Paul Davis was concerned with quality or timeliness. I hope I never have to do a renovation again, but I will make a different choice in contractors if I do.

Clint did an amazing job!! We had him clean an entire house including furniture and it's all like brand new! Clint really knows his stuff and makes sure the job is done right! His pricing was also very fair and he got right to us! Highly recommend his services!

Clint Jones did a fantastic job.  He was able to clean our carpets the day after I called.  He quoted a price that did not change.  He is very knowledgeable of his product and how to clean problem areas.  He is very personable but not a hard sell for add on products or services.  I would recommend Jones Chem=Dry
without hesitation.

Clint did a great job on 5 of my rugs.  All different sizes.  He cleaned a deodorized them and they all look and smell great.  However, the best part was that Clint was very honest.  My biggest wool rug had dog stains on it and instead of trying to clean something he knew would not turn out well, he told me up front that it would be very tough to clean.  He still tried to clean part of it and did not charge me a dime for it.  It was nice to actually work with someone who is honest and you can trust.  I would recommend him to anyone.

Excellent customer service! Clint was very professional and went above and beyond to make sure our Bed & Breakfast was taken care of. He worked around our schedule and was happy to accommodate us. Our carpets look like new again! We will definitely be using them again in the future.

This was my first experience with Jones Chem-Dry and I couldn’t be more pleased. Clint assured me that he would be able to clean my 20+ year old carpet and remove the stains, and that he did!!  I also had my sofa cleaned as well. Again, I was very happy with the thorough job. I would highly recommend Jones Chem Dry to all of my friends and neighbors, and will certainly use them again. I have just been through a home remodel and this service was about the first time I have been totally satisfied with the task completed. They will forward your calls. My dad is an older man and cannot set appointments, so I had to call them get prices then call my dad let him know, then I told the woman I was going to call back and now all they do is forward my calls. VERY unprofessional!
