Contracted for Six door installs. Four are not correct (by the naked eye). Didn’t clean up after themself and tried to leave with a door that couldn’t be opened. No QA. Took extra parts with him from site (did not ask). Screws aren’t even in straight and didn’t have proper tools with him for job.  The scope of work was to hang six ore hung doors (framing was fine).

They fixed/installed doors that we thought were impossible to fit right! We had bought some older French style doors for our home office and they would not fit correctly even though they measured the same as the original ones for the home. I am pretty handy when it comes to home repairs and such but this was going to take a professional in order to make them work. I was able to schedule an appointment with Heartwood several weeks out due to me having a very busy schedule. The lady who scheduled me was very polite and courteous and the hourly rate was reasonable for the expertise you get! The gentleman arrived for my morning appointment and was able to adjust, trim and reinstall the doors absolutely perfectly and cleaned up with a shop vac, which I did not expect but was very appreciative of.  He did this in less than 2 hours and worked steady the whole time constantly getting the measurements and details just right using his on site tools. I could have never installed these doors and made them fit properly like Heartwood did. I am very impressed with the craftsmanship and their high level of experience. I will be using them again for any future needs. I highly recommend them!

I called for a quote to replace a few glass of the windows on a flip property. The lady on the phone told me they cannot work on a distressed property.

I had used Heartwood Enterprises before (10+ years ago) to repair 2 windows that were fogged, and they did a great job. This time when I've asked for estimates, the guy that does the estimates seems more annoyed and downright condescending when I asked questions. I also had to wait for a reply for a follow-up answer over a week. I'm  disappointed to say I won't ever use them again, it may be because of short staffing but rude behavior is a non-starter for me.

I appreciate Heartwood enterprises because they were the only company that wanted to fix my door vs.  trying to upsell me on a brand new one. Our sliding glass door had a bad roller. Bill Patch helped evaluate the door to ensure it was still in good working order. He was helpful and I could tell he was the type to tell me what I needed to hear versus what I wanted to hear. Kevin came a few days later and helped get us in Tip-Top working order. Heartwood was very fast well priced and efficient. I look forward to working with them again in the future.

This company is amazing. Their cabinet doors are the absolute best quality. If you reached this page because you googled to find inspections or repair to exterior, garage, or interior doors, it was in error. This company does trim/general woodworking, tables, headboards,  and cabinetry.

Ace Handyman Services - NW Austin Cedar Park

Mario came out to quickly help with an emergency repair. I had a pickup truck drive through the living room of my house. Within only a few hours, Mario had all the materials bought and the side of my house boarded up and secure. He even went the extra mile and helped me tarp up the sides to weatherproof it until a more permanent repair could be made.

Mario was fantastic, punctual, a great communicator, kind and respectful. Any more work I need done, he’s getting my first call. Thank you so much!

John did a very nice job of communicating by calling the night before the job to confirm what needed to be done. On the day of, he called me to communicate his timing between jobs.  He was polite and did a fantastic job.  I had someone going to paint it so it isn’t painted at this point but the new post looks great.

Using Ace Handyman Services was a great overall experience. They quoted me the best pricing to have my storage shed built. The price remained the same no matter if the build went over the suggested amount of time. Mario was the professional that I worked with. He was on time and very personable. We discussed the scope of the project, build plans and timing. He reassured me that id love the finished product..and I do! Project finished on time and without complication. Indianapolis Carpet Repair

Rodney was very professional and explained the process before and during. He was friendly, efficient & quick. I enjoyed his knowledge & could tell he takes pride in his work. My carpet look brand new after stretch & clean!

Rodney was awesome to work with! He was super knowledgeable about all of our carpet repair and cleaning needs! He repaired several small issues for us and a huge issue (see attached photo) and I would have never known they were bad! He also told me he owns Absolute Carpet Care and Repair so he was able to get my carpet repaired and cleaned in one visit! We will definitely have him return!

Rodney did a great job. He was prompt, effective, and very good at his job. I have before and after pictures and I cannot tell the difference. He fixed multiple holes very quickly and was ridiculously effective!

Rodney was great to work with and walked me through everything. Had a stretching and cleaning done in multiple rooms. All the ripples are gone, and everything is neat and tidy. The deep clean was excellent and everything looks and smells incredible! Was easy to schedule and arrived right when scheduled after letting me know he was on the way.

Glass Doctor of Niles, MI

Unfortunately had a communication issue, was told the technician was going to call me and come repair my glass by the end of the day, I called several times only to be told the tech had my info and would be calling me, I waited until 630pm as the vehicle needing repaired was at another house of mine, so I had to call the next day to reschedule, so next scheduled day comes the technician calls to inform me that the glass he received was defective and that I'm going to have to reschedule again and that someone would reach out to me the next day, here we are days later and no response and a truck window still broken rendering the truck useless. I don't recommend these people they are standing behind the words they say. Large company or not its not an excuse.

Super nice guys that did a quality installation in good time. Covered by insurance so I don't know the price.

I redid an antique vanity and the original mirror had damage and due to the shape of it it was not easy finding some one to cut one in the  same unique shape. Not only were they able to do it but had it ready in two days!

After contacting several companies in the area, these guys said they were able to come out and replace our windshield within 4 days.
I was contacted the day prior to be told we would need to wait another 9 days due to them not having the product in stock... not sure why it took them 3 days to figure that out but sure.

The day they were supposed to come out no one showed up, wife called and we were told they would come out the following day.

I am highly skeptical of their professionalism and ability to track work. I suggest going to another company as I will be doing the same in the future.

Glass doctor is awesome.  They came out replaced my windshield.  The technician was friendly and fast. Plus they were about a 100.00 cheaper than another company who comes out to do your auto glass.

Ace Handyman Services North Indianapolis

Needed to have shades taken down from one location and placed in another. Everything was installed well and in a timely manner. I’d use this service again and refer friends to use as well. Didn’t have to wait weeks for an appointment which was amazing because I was in a time crunch.

I actually have had to edit my review.  When Caleb left I realized I forgot to get an estimate for another job we want done.  A call, text and email later and he called me back.  Maybe 5 minutes.  He turned around and was back at my house less than 15 min from when he left!  Wow!!  Excellent communication leading up to and then after the work. Fast and courteous service.

This is my 2nd time using Ace Handyman services and this time Kyle was sent to assist me with my project.  Kyle's work was meticulous and detailed.  He paid attention to things; for example, as he was hanging up one of the blinders he noticed the tape residue left on the packaging and ensured he removed it.  It's the attention to detail, the small things that people do that indicate their training and professionalism. Kevin was exceptional! Attitude and kindness means a lot to me. Kevin was patient and knowledgeable when I asked questions. He remounted my Ring Cam light near my garage, which was one of the very important items on the list of things I wanted done. Great job!

Glass Doctor of South Bend, IN

Such a professional and polite staff to work with. They returned calls right away, came out to the house and worked quickly and were able to have our window replaced before the snow!  So grateful for such a great experience.

I had four floor to ceiling double pane windows replaced.
Four men arrived right on time and went right to work. Three of the windows were on the second floor so scaffolding had to be put up. They finished the job in three hours and I'm thrilled with the results. I'm going to schedule them again for four more windows. When you look through the new windows, they are so clear and beautiful that you can't tell that glass is even there.

I had four more floor to ceiling  windows replaced in October.  They did such a fantastic job last spring, that I called them again. I was concerned because the temperature was so low in the morning, I thought my whole house would be cold when they removed windows. But they work so quickly you couldn't even tell
if there was a change in temperature. I'm delighted with my new windows!

When it hailed recently in South Bend, IN, one of the panels on the storm door on the back of the house broke. Glass Doctor of South Bend sent out a gentleman who took measurements of the panel and two weeks later two technicians came to replace the panel, which has been perfect. The three gentlemen who came to the house were very professional and did an excellent job.

Was quoted 3x the amount to replace a windshield and repair another one at another business. Very happy with the price at glass doctor and they get you in asap.

After another popular glass company needed more than a week to replace my drivers side window (in the middle of winter), I decided to call Glass Doctor.  They fit me in the next day!  I was pleased with their kindness and respect over the phone.  Upon showing up for my appointment, the business was clean and my car was taken in on time.  They had a wonderful, kind dog in the lobby with the receptionist.  So, that's an added bonus.  The whole process took about 45 minutes and they vacuumed out my entire car and included a bottle of glass cleaner.  Very pleased with the service I received.  Thank you

Franklin Window and Door

First off, I’ll start by saying I would not recommend Franklin Door & Window to anyone. The ordering of our door was pretty seamless but the installation has been a nightmare. We were originally scheduled for a Thursday install and they called and rescheduled for Friday, no big deal. On Friday they came out to install their door and realized they were missing parts AFTER starting installation. They would have to order parts and we would have an opening in our house over the weekend. They left without sealing the opening and I had to call them Friday afternoon to get them to come back and fix it since it’s November and cold out. The following week, I was told I needed to call their person that schedules everything to make another time for them to come out to install. I would have thought they would come out immediately to remedy the situation that they messed up. The door was installed the following Friday but the they couldn’t get the latching mechanism on the door to work. So still not finished. Every time they come to try and fix they leave the door wide open, in November mind you, when they leave. See pictures I’ve attached. And now here we are the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, weeks after installation was supposed to be finished with a door that won’t close. I haven’t heard anything from them in over a week. I’m guessing our door still won’t be installed through the holiday. The lack of communication from this company is astounding. Find someone else for your door and window needs.

Shopping for new windows was an exhausting and dreadful experience until we came in contact with JR at Franklin Window and Doors. I was concerned FW&D was going to be out of our budget but they were understanding and more than willing to work with us. There are so many window companies that make so many different claims and it's tough to decipher who will do the best job and narrow down what is needed. JR came to our house and helped us understand the meaning behind the specifications, helped us pick a window that met those specs, and helped us stay within our budget. We also visited the showroom to view different options and we settled on the Marvin windows they offer. JR took time to answer all of our questions before our purchase, and cared about our experience. The windows were installed in a timely manner, they are the best looking windows on the market and they operate wonderfully. Their installers even sealed off a few doors for us free of charge, among other things. We had a great experience with JR and because of this we would highly recommend Franklin Window & Door to any of our family and friends. I contacted Franklin Window and Door to do a small installation.  Normally I'm the guy guilty of hiring low price contractors, however, I wanted to make sure this project was done correctly and with a high level of detail.  I  wanted transom windows installed in a dark living room that had no window openings. In order to install, FW&D had to remove the exterior brick veneer, frame for the new openings, and install the windows.  I could not have been more happy with the result, and attentiveness of the field techs.  I was shocked by how clean they kept my home and the jobsite.  The project turned out 5 stars.

Landmark Plumbing & Heating

We spent $208 for 20 minutes of work for a “sink cleaning.” 3 weeks later, we’re having the same issue with our kitchen sink/drain. We asked if they would come back to look at it and they quoted us another freaking $200!! Their response was, “well just try vinegar and baking soda then.” Avoid this company!! They’re a joke…

The basement drains plugged up and Landmark was able to come the same day to fix them.  We have had trouble before and it is always between the house and the street.  The employee said the plug was right outside of the washer.  I told him of our problems over the years and said  the drain needs to be pushed all the way out to the street.  He reassured me he would would snake through the drains to the street. He completed the project and reassured me he took the snake through the drain to the street.  I asked him if we continue to have problems, is his work guarantee.  He reassured me it was guaranteed.  The next morning when I started the wash, the drains backed up.  We called Landmark and was immediately informed there would be additional charges. Even though the job was a failure.  I had paid them almost $200.00 the day before.  Needless to say we did not have them come back to fix the problem.

If I could give zero stars I would! Called around 7:30 on a Monday night due to my pilot light on my furnace going out and not being able to light it again. They wanted to charge $150 to come out that night or we could wait till 9-9:30 Tuesday morning for only $85. So I decided to wait and just run my space heater to keep my home warm for the night. Well 9 am the next morning and they were no where to be found. Waited till 10:30 am (an hour after they were supposed to be here) and nothing. Called to cancel because I found someone else and they were very unprofessional and rude over the phone. Didn't even ask a name to find out who was canceling. Would never recommend them to anyone!

They came out to my house quickly when I had a broken pipe. My water was turned back on within a couple hours. They even referred me to an excellent cleanup service for the flood that happened. Would hire them again for any  plumbing or heating needs.

They came out last minute and rushed over as soon as they could. Had plastic lodged in the toilet and was fixed in only an hour. Super friendly, and nice. Will call for them again in the future.
