Quick to show up to tear my home apart. And never show back up to put my home back together. All do to a leaky dishwasher. They tore up my flooring and busted up my tile floors. Took out my cabinets. Ran fans and dehumidifiers for over 2 weeks jacking up my electric bill. During those 2 weeks, we had people coming and going in our home, on their time not ours. And random people at that makes a customer very uncomfortable. Trying to live in those conditions are horrid. After waiting 4 months for work to begin and no communication from them, to put home back together. I decided to hire another contractor to complete the work. After almost a year of my home being in shambles it's finally complete. Here are photos of what we had to live with for over 6 months, due to their incompetence. I will never recommend anyone to use their service.

Had water damage in our main bedroom and bathroom, called insurance and they sent out Paul Davis Co. Steven was our head guy, great guy. Friendly, honest and very helpful throughout the whole process. Has made sure everything was taken care of to our satisfaction and everything is fixed correctly. Highly recommend Steven and the guys out of Bremen for any of your mishaps!!

Do not use this company after a fire. If the company contacts us and makes our issues right, I will update this post. We keep getting the run around. Highly dissatisfied.

EDIT** It’s been about a month since I posted this. We still cannot get anyone to call us back despite multiple attempts and them saying we will hear from someone within 24-48 hours every time we call.

Corporate finally called after my husband made another attempt with them. They listened and said they will reach out to the franchise.

So, we are still waiting.

—We have pictures and videos showing that they did not clean items that they returned.
—They charged us for things we did not even have.
—They “lost” items.
—Their inventory list of clothing items was not good. No pictures, vague descriptions.
—Horrible Communication

Paul Davis repaired and refinished our wood floors, following water damage.  They are the most beautiful floors you’ll ever see.  The team was professional, knowledgeable and kept the work moving and us informed along the way. We would highly suggest them for anyone searching for a contractor.

It’s truly been a pleasure to be able to work with Paul Davis.  Mike and his whole staff have been phenomenal. Good Shepherd Fence Company

JD and his team of fencing wizards did a wonderful job with the entire fence resurrecting process.  After a storm took out our tree, and our fence in the process, Good Shepherd was upfront about their lead out times and what to expect.  When JD showed up the first time, and we all realized there had been some miscommunication going on somewhere during the process, he was extremely professional, kind, and great to deal with during a less than ideal situation.  When JD and his team finally came back to install the correct fence, they were quick, cleanup was good, and did a great job constructing the fence and subsequent gates.  I would recommend them.

We needed temporary construction fence for a special Halloween Area 51 project. Good Shepherd Fence Company answered the call and came through big time. The fence was like new, clean, sturdy and had no sharp edges which was perfect for our our needs. Delivered to our site with time to spare! Highly recommended!

Hugo and his team were amazing!  Quick installation and the end result is beautiful.  I won't go into detail on how anxious I was about installation day.  I have the next door neighbor from hell, and I knew this was going to be a day of craziness, which would include the police.  EVERYTHING was handled in a way that I didn't have to handle anything. I was left to only enjoy the day with Hugo and team then doing their magic.  I am so appreciative and would highly, highly recommend them for any job you are considering.

I was very impressed with the professionalism the crew had. The workmanship was spot on. Both JD's and Tristan's crew did a great job..I will be letting everyone I know that Good Shepard fence can take care of your fencing needs.

Good Shepherd Fence Company was fantastic!  They were fast, professional, and you would never know they had been here because their clean-up was flawless!  They took down an old chain link fence and set up the new aluminum one in just a few hours.

Pella Windows & Doors of Indianapolis

Working with Pella has been by far the worst experience I have had with a home exterior company.  They had issues with no call no shows, incorrect measurements, deceptively hiding damage, spliting/damaging trim and refusing to fix it, cracking window frames and not replacing, smearing caulk all over nail holes and on the interior and extremly poor customer service.  Their 5 day install ended up being a 15 day install and they had no communication on when they were or were not coming.

They have done nothing but call me a liar and fight me on every aspect of the job from the beginning to the end. The incompetence and deceptiveness is widespread in their company. It ranges from Tom the local service tech all the way to the owner (Nacho).

You can get the same products, better service and competent administrative support from dozens of companies around the city and for a better price!

Avoid Pella McComb and any Pella installation service. Their products are good and can be purchased from any reputable window company for a much better value.

Atrocious quality and work!!
Took 8-9 months for 5 windows. That’s after they told me it would take 6 months.
The quality of the windows is awful, Pella should he embarrassed! Dents and scratches on every single window, bad enough that even the local Indy Pella office agreed the windows needed to he repainted (after the install). Think about that! The windows were in such bad condition that every single window had to be repainted because of obvious damage (this is after 9 months of waiting for 5 windows)!  Even after repainting, the windows look bad.  Dents/scratches still visible.  There are still spots of raw wood because the painter couldn’t get the tight spots without causing larger issues.  The weather stripping broke on 1 window when the rep was opening the window in my house.  The weatherstripping literally didn’t even last 1 opening of the window.
There is grey sealant coming out of several joints/seams (larger, rice sized spots of sealant).

The Install: The guys were nice, but 1 person put caulk in every nail hole on the trim.   That is a huge “no-no”.  Caulk dries and cracks over time, so filling nail holes with caulk, is incompetent (you use wood filler). On top of that, that person only filled 75% of the nail holes.  I guess that’s better than filling all the nail holes, but just shows further incompetence.  There was wood/metal scraps left on the ground around my house, and they even left old wood scraps on my roof and on my gutters. They of course never addressed most of the issues.     There are caulk smears on the interior trim, interior window panes and on the exterior window panes also.
I had fun spending a full day cleaning up the junk work of the installers (scraping/cleaning caulk and picking up trash from my property and off the roof/gutters.

The office in Indy was not much help.
I’ll never order pella windows again.   They were good in the 80s and 90s, but now they are junk… and expensive junk at that!
Avoid Pella.  There are too many quality window companies around to use Pella anymore.  Save yourself the headache and avoid Pella!

This team did an amazing job.   We replaced all windows in the house at one time.  Nick Robinson was an incredibly helpful, non-pressure tactic sales rep that helped us find the best solution.  The installation crew was outstanding.   They were polite, tidy, cleaned up their workspace daily and did a quality job.    Great job, team McComb/Pella!

Wish Pella Windows and Doors  actually give/install the quality they promise,

I bought a whole house window set, and the quality is so nasty, black windows seems like they painted with nail polish!!! Worse part is they acting like "oh I don't know"

That lifetime warranty they offer, is not true.

So Pella Windows & Doors of Indianapolis and Lowe's Home Improvement is a real bad combination.

Our salesman Wes was excellent — definitely not pushy or assertive, and he brought some excellent ideas to help us retain the look of our 1920’s single-pane windows. Jack and his installation crew were top notch as well. They finished the installation in half the quoted time, did and outstanding job cleaning up around the edges, and didn’t leave anything out of place when they left. I cannot recommend McComb enough! I know they won’t be the least expensive option in town, but you absolutely get every penny worth.

I came to Indianapolis from out of state to help a relative return home after a long stint in the hospital.  What I found when I got to their house was a filthy hoard of trash that I knew nothing about.  I needed help.  I called Bio-One and they came right out and were able to get to work very quickly.  They were understanding and friendly, easy to work with, and did a great job with the cleanup.  I hope I never need them again, but I can happily recommend them to anyone needing cleanup help.

Blake was sent out to my home the same day I called (due to AC not kicking on). Blake explained everything so well & was very professional, outgoing & polite! The very next morning, Brian & the two gentleman with him, installed a new HVAC system & were VERY professional & did a OUTSTANDING job of completing everything (ALL THE WAY!! Not Half way. That is rare to find a company that takes that much pride in their work these days)! They all were great at explaining things through the process, and left my home a bit cleaner than before they started! They came out to do routine maintenance since that is included in the monthly membership. They determined I had carbon monoxide leaking from my vents. All though it was not a large amount, I did not want to risk anything since I have a new born. They were able to come out, quote my furnace with multiple options, order my furnace and replace my furnace all within a few days. Brian the owner came to my house and did the install. Pricing was fair and the workmanship was A+. Thank you!

There are not enough amazing things I could say that justify the experience I had with Paul Davis. From the time my house was lost in a fire to the time it was completed, Robin and the entire team at Paul Davis went above and beyond to ensure the work was done promptly, professionally, and that I was informed. My home was challenging to say the least, yet the team at Paul Davis made it seem easy and I feel comfortable knowing my home was in great hands during its reconstruction.

Received a quick response when I called to request an onsite quote. The technician arrived witin the given time frame and was congenial and very professional. After getting several other quotes, we did go with Glass Doctor and were extremely pleased with the completed installation of a frosted double paned glass inset in a back entry door to our church.

We had a break-in and needed the window replaced asap.  Glass Doctor was professional and responsive. Fair priced.  Would definitely recommend!

They arrived within 1 hour of me starting the claim, began cleaning/demolition, set equipment, and came back everyday on time to check on equipment. They communicated clearly, set proper expectations, and went above/beyond my expectations for water mitigation. They are pet friendly, courteous, and were very careful with my belongings. As I never want to deal with this again,  if I did, I would use Paul Davis Restoration for their mitigation work! Good job and Keep it up!!

Paul Davis was prompt with the repairs after our home flooded from a water line breaking. 7 months after the floor was installed we noticed the wood grain flaking off. The manufacturer, Ohio Valley Flooring, has reviewed it and claims that it's due to moving furniture and pets, that it's not covered under warranty (they will be receiving a review as well). After multiple calls and emails, Paul Davis has stopped responding. Now I'm stuck dealing with a floor that is falling apart and it's less than a year old. Not happy with their non-responsiveness.

Our experience with Paul Davis Nothern Indianapolis was AMAZING! We had a 60,000 pound tree fall along the entire home. Paul Davis was there quickly to stop water coming through roof and start cleanup. Our lead people: Keith Christopher and Zach Arvin are the most professional and knowledgeable people to work with. They worked so hard to find all damage and get everything back to better then before. We chose to add on remodel items to make the home even nicer and they knocked it out of the park! I had an excellent customer experience and would highly recommend Paul Davis to anyone needing restoration services. Sean and the staff were friendly, professional, responsive, prompt and did excellent work. When my basement flooded, they responded quickly to assess the damage and schedule the needed restoration tasks- moisture remediation, dehumidifying, demo, drywall, carpet removal, carpet reinstallation and painting. They also worked with my insurance to make the process simple and without hassle for me. There were many choices of carpet in the Paul Davis showroom and we picked a style that looks great-  Big City Nights - "Bosie". My basement now looks better than ever and the carpet feels so soft and pleasant to walk on! I am planning on some bathroom remodeling in the future and will definitely hit up Sean @ Paul Davis again for that project. Thank you for your excellent service!
