Just had gutters installed on our new house and garage. The crew did an amazing job. Very professional. The gutters look awsome. I would highly recommend  ABC Seamless of Bemidji.

A year ago, a crew installed a new gutter system on our home. We really appreciate the quality of their craftsmanship. Today, I noticed a concern with a downspout. By the end of the day, they had someone out to fix it. I highly recommend ABC seamless of Bemidji

I was referred by a friend to talk with Joe at abc seamless and decided to have them install gutters on my home and my business. Everything looked so nice and I was very satisfied with the installation, and friendly customer service. They were very professional and showed up when they said they would. I would highly recommend this company. I’m a very happy customer.

We hired ABC to replace siding, windows, roof and doors.  Jeremy was awesome to work with.  He was very quick to respond to messages and questions.  He explained everything to us beforehand so we knew what to expect.  Very professional.  The crew always cleaned the area when they left for the day.  Everyone was so great to work with.  We are extremely happy with everything we had done.  Great great job!

Peerless Fence & Supply

From our first meeting with our sales representative, Andrew, to the final sign off with the installation manager, Raul, our experience with Peerless was amazing!  Andrew did a great job of explaining our options for vinyl fencing, discussed advantages of Peerless versus other installers, and was on time for every appointment.  Once we decided upon the style and color, Andrew worked with the operations team to get us scheduled as quickly as possible.  From signing the contract to work commencing, it was only a 3 week process (amazing)!  Once work began, Raul was in constant contact with me to keep me informed.  He and his crew were very professional, thorough, and took great care while they worked to make sure our property was in the same, or better, condition than when they arrived.  While there were a few weather delays, Raul called to let me know of the delays and when he thought they'd be able to resume.

This entire experience could have been just another "cost", but Andrew and Raul went above and beyond to make sure it was an investment we could be proud of.  Thank you both for making our experience extremely enjoyable!

We love our fence!  The service we received from Tim Griinke was outstanding, from the original estimate, through installation, and after. We had a couple caps that came off during bad storms. He reglued one and made sure one that blew away was replaced.  The price was the best of all bids, the installation of the new fence and removal if the old one went very smoothly, the quality is excellent and we would highly recommend Tim and Peerless!

Not looking to slam a company with opinions. Below are the facts of my experience with Peerless:

- They were recommended by Barrington Pools to install a fence around my pool.
- They asked me to fill out the fence permit application. Never been asked to do that by a contractor.
- They proposed and signed a contract for a fence that wasn’t up to code.
- Took over 1 month for them to find and order a fence that was up to code, which was $7k higher than the original quote
- Showed up on installation day with the wrong gates and outdated design plan.
- I was told the installation would take 1 day, it took 3 days.
- Installation was delayed multiple weeks beyond what they agreed to in the contract.

At the end of the day, my project included a new in-ground pool, retaining walls, decking, landscaping, replaced sprinkler system, replaced landscape lighting system, and a fence. Out of everything, Peerless was by far the biggest challenge.

Had a sales consultant come to my home and he was very informative about the product. I wanted a very tall fence for my yard that would help me have privacy. He promised all the bells and whistles that came along with it. Things were going smoothly until they couldn't get a permit or license to work in the city I lives in.  He told me that the company was going through a merger and that they do over eight hundred jobs a year. But somehow couldn't get a permit to work in the city where I live. He explained that the paperwork was late or somehow, some form of bureaucracy was happening with the city and sitting on their paperwork.

So I waited a week as he suggested for things to clear up. But when you go through Peerless Fencing, you either have to apply for a Home Depot card or pay up front. However you can't get started on any work until you have a permit. I gave him a week for his company to supposedly to straighten it out. Then when the week had expired, it was the exact same story he had given me the week before. But he still wanted me to pay.

I would not recommend this company simply because:
1. The salesman I had would talk his head off about his life stories.
2. He would try to convince you to buy a fence against city code. I later found out that it would have been torn down if it reached to a certain part of my property by the city. So he doesn't tell you the violations or what's in code where you live.
3. He'll pretend to be your friend to keep the account open until you pay the company.
4. But most of all, he'll convince you to pay for a service that's pending in legality until it's cleared up with a merger.
5. And he's a sexist. He said that he had young ladies working at Home depot expediting the city permit to begin my project for my home.

I found a much professional company with quality work and legal working procedures. And that doesn't have stock photos to represent their product.

So if you find this compenny go another direction.

Peerless fence did an overall great job! They took down our old chain link and had our new 6 foot wood privacy fence installed in one day.  We had a few obstacles from electrical boxes to electrical lines from a street light running through our lot. However, that didn't slow them down and they didn't seem to have any issue working around those things.  I wish we would have decided to have them install a fence sooner!

RE/MAX Ultimate Professionals

The realtor I was working with was Aaron Tidmore. He helped us with our first house (purchase), which was great and smooth. I had never sold with him though. When we sold, it was a COMPLETELY different story. This man does NOT care about anything or anyone other than his money. He left my family HOMELESS and did NOT care one bit. Didn’t offer to make it right either. I went with a different agent, and I’m glad because she got us into our dream home after A MONTH AND 5 DAYS BEING HOMELESS thanks to Aaron Tidmore. He failed to do one thing we asked him to do, but he claims he “did his job”. If his job is to not list how the sellers want to list THEIR home, and allow his clients to go HOMELESS, then he succeeded. I will NEVER use or recommend him or RE/MAX EVER again. I will recommend the woman that helped us and cared about our situation. This man should have disciplinary action against because of this. If this happened to me and my wife, who he considered “friends”, I’m sure this has happened to others he has done business with. What a professional.

I’m very disappointed in Aaron Tidmore, due to the fact he left my son homeless , and he had no choice but to sell his house, and he couldn’t purchase his new home due to a mess up from Aaron. I was fortunate to help him out in his time of need, but that’s no way to treat people, or make people want to ever use you or  RE/MAX again. That was a mistake you can’t fix. I would not recommend using. Buyer/seller beware

She never returned my calls, emails or texts.
She's a Professional? NOT....

My agent was super helpful through all the paper work. He made it so easy for an older lady like me!!

Ace Handyman Services Shorewood

Jon C. was the perfect fit for us. He was prompt, courteous, thoughtful and knowledgeable. I’m grateful we found Ace Home Services and I’m glad he was the guy that came out. We will definitely be using Ace Home Services for any future need and specifically request Jon each and every time!

I needed my toilet serviced because it was making a hissing noise and taking longer than usual to fill up. I contacted Ace because I used them one time before. My handyman who showed up was Jon. Jon arrived with the replacement part already with him. He was professional and courteous. Jon replaced my part and had my toilet back in operation in under 20 minutes. Ace you did it again, I know just who to call when I have an issue. Thank you!

I am so glad I found ace handyman services. We have struggled for over a year to get our fascia on the side of our home fixed. We couldn’t get contractors to call us back or even want to take on the work. Ace handyman services provided a fair estimate and they did exactly as they said they would. They provided above and beyond services to make sure the color and material matched our existing home. They provided fabrication services to ensure our fascia design matched and followed up with us through every stage of the process. I will recommend this company and the excellent service they provide to anyone I know looking for repair or handyman services. We are so happy with the outcome!

Jon came in and fixed our closet shelving unit that had fallen off the wall. He did a fabulous job in half the time. We will be using Ace handyman services again.

I called Ace one day before to request help having a dishwasher and stove disconnected because another company canceled on me the day they were supposed to come out. The woman that answered the phone went above and beyond to find a way to help me. Justin was our tech and he is awesome! We ran into a few snags getting the dishwasher out but he overcame every obstacle! He even came back later that same day to put everything back after the flooring company left. I couldn’t be more impressed!!

Just wanted to take a minute to let you know how wonderful my experience with Mindi Newman has been. She is simply amazing!
I’ve been reaching out to her any time we have customers with home problems, and she is always quick to respond, showing care and compassion to our clients.
Mindi not only does great with referrals, she has even gone above and beyond to show concern for myself, and has been helping me with many things. I met with Mindi today, and a few minutes of conversation led to me learning so much from her!

I wanted to say a big thank you to Puroclean who sent out a technician to look at our property for possible mold remediation - he told me we didn't have the issue I thought and gave me expert, free, advice on what I could do on my own to solve the problem. We ended up not having to work with a property damage service (and saved a lot of money); I will definitely keep PuroClean in mind if we need to in the future.

Do not use Puroclean at all!!!!  Instead try someone like Servicemaster or Servpro.  Puroclean came out after my basement flooded.  I asked daily for an estimate or cost, wasn't provided anything until the work was completed.  I then discovered they had overcharged me by charging for equipment that was never used and I was charged a higher rate for after-hour hours when it was their employees who had asked if they could come at a later time.  I brought up these concerns with Puroclean and they removed the listing of the equipment, but did not remove the charges and they then adjusted other rates.  It has been a nightmare trying to resolve this billing issue.  Stay away unless you like being overcharged!

Paul Davis Restoration of Schaumburg

Keith was our contact person and he worked with us throughout the 13 months that our home took to be ready for moving back in. When we needed some of our items that were in storage to make our apartments more livable and then he with me the difficult task of pulling the items that we requested. He was gracious throughout this process. He extended the amount of time that they would keep our items in storage and didn’t make us feel that we were putting them out. Going through a house fire, and everything that goes with it. It was a relief that Paul Davis  Never made us feel that we were asking too much of them. The teams that did the packing and the moving and delivery were professional and very kind. I can’t say enough about Paul Davis. I highly recommend them as does my family. Make sure that you call Keith White, Paul Davis at the number that is provided as there are other companies out there with the same business name . You’ll be so glad that you reached out to this company.

Keith, the supervisor and staff ,very professional, shows courtesy and respect. Knowledgeable about their profession. A pleasure to meet them and know our processions were in good hands.

Had a water leak that caused damage to the ceiling in our living room.  Paul Davis team was quick to respond the same day. Estimator came to home within hours to assess damage and remediation team arrived the next day.  Very satisfied with remediation of the water damage.  Mold was my main concern with water damage and they completely addressed my concern.

Engaged other contractors to address finish work (drywall, painting, etc.).

Paul Davis Restoration responded quickly; provided very good communication through the entire water mitigation process; set up clean and effective equipment; scheduled daily Monitoring Visits to take moisture readings and check on the progress; gave an accurate timeline for completion; and the staff was efficient, courteous and professional. I would use their services again.

Paul Davis Restoration truly came to our rescue when we had a significant amount of water damage due to a burst pipe.  The Paul Davis team was organized professional, and communicative.  Jesus and Oscar spent so much time explaining the process and ensuring we were comfortable with the work.  All members of the crew were friendly, polite, and considerate.  After leaving the team to work on our place, we returned to find our home clean and well-cared for!   Not to mention this team worked from early morning to late-night (on a Sunday!) to keep our remediation on schedule.  We are so pleased we chose this team for our service.

Matt and his team were simply amazing! From the minute they first called me to when the last fan was picked up, Matt and his team went above and beyond. From working with the insurance company to ensure coverage to removing wet attic insulation I was fully aware of the process and was communicated to daily! Highly recommend!! We had a water heater spring a leak over the weekend in our office.  When we arrived Monday morning we found that our offices were flooded.  I called PuroClean by Browns.  The owner was at our facility in 15 minutes.  15 minutes later he had his entire crew at our office moving stuff and sucking up water.  By noon he had all the water sucked up and was drying everything out.  They saved our drywall from being destroyed and most of our equipment.  These guys are very professional and know their job very well.  I would hire them in a second if I needed them again.  I was able to continue running my 3 businesses with no interruption because they handled everything so well.  They helped me with the insurance adjuster and has been there for every step needed to get our place back to 100%.  I would like to thank Marlin and Tony for all their help and their crew.  Great job guys!!!!!

The PuroClean team was GREAT to work with.  We were out of town when our sump pump decided to go out and by the time we arrived home,  all the contents from our finished basement were neatly packed into a storage pod and our basement was cleaned and dried out.  Although we weren't able to be at home during the process, the team communicated with not only my husband and I, but also with our family members back at home who offered to help out with providing access to the house in our absence.  Everyone is also very nice and professional.  Thanks again PuroClean!

I used PuroClean for water damage in my basement. Matt went above and beyond to ensure that the job was done right and for a great price. This company is first class.

We had issues with our basement leaking and they were very quick with their initial service. They added another sump pump to the basement and tile in the ground. We THOUGHT that fixed the problem until it started again and we called them again. They added more tile a week later after finally getting ahold of them. We have tried for 3 days to get ahold of them now since it is leaking AGAIN. My fiancé got ahold of someone on Saturday and they said they would have someone call him and still have yet to hear back. I called again yesterday (Monday) to get told someone would call me and I’m still waiting. It’s frustrating paying someone that much money to still have the same problem and keep forking over more money to fix the same problem while trying to sell our home.

It is now Thursday and still no word back. Had another company come in to fix what they did...

I have in fact reviewed the correct company... we’ve tried reaching out. Company located in Wilmington. Spoke to Matt originally who did the work at our home.

Ace Handyman Services Fox Valley

I had purchased a new entry door for my garage. It had no marks or dirt. After install I called about marks and dirt and no caulk around door. Was told they normally do not caulk around doors. They came back out and “caulked”. No attempt was made to removed any existing caulk. See pics. Asked owner to call. Was told he was unable to call me. Sent another guy out that recaulked. I also showed him it appeared brick mounding was removed from the new door and then remounted crooked. Never heard any back. Never again.

From start to finish, Kathy (customer service) and Matt (handyman) went above and beyond our expectations. Communication was always clear and Matt was extremely professional, kind, knowledgeable, and efficient in completing the tasks. We will definitely hire them again!

Kathy is always so helpful and Bud has been out twice to our home now. This time we had a list of several items like banging pipes, shower valve issues and doors not closing properly. He was able to help us with everything again beyond expectations. I will definitely be using Ace again. They are trustworthy and honest. They did our railings in the fall too.

Bud is absolutely amazing! Every job we have had him here for he has arrived on time, been extremely professional, went above and beyond our needs, and has always been extremely efficient. He always answers my multitude of questions with respect and encouragement. I cannot recommend Bud enough! He is absolutely wonderful to work with.

Awesome job repairing wood floor gaps and touching up after the repair to make it look great. Provided guidance and recommendations on future work. Really happy over all with Ace Handyman.
