Glass Doctor of Harrisburg, IL

Took my kitchen window in for repair in October 2022. I have still not gotten it back. I have left weekly messages and have had no return calls. Horrible company. As soon as I can get my window back I will take it somewhere else. Don't use this company.

While doing grounds maintenance for a nursing home in Metropolis, I shattered a glass door weed eating on a Friday afternoon. I temporarily fixed it as I was leaving for vacation. I called the following Monday morning to every business I found online in Western Kentucky that would repair doors. I had several that said they would be out to give an estimate on repairs, and never showed up. But most said they were 4-6 months out for any repairs as they were consumed with storm damage repairs. Upon my return I got online and started looking for someone in southern Illinois or Missouri and Found the Glass Doctor out of Vienna and Harrisburg. The receptionist was extremely helpful. I didn't know if I was going to do the repair on my own or let one of their techs do it. As I needed it repaired as soon as possible. She found the glass I needed, and had a tech out within a few hours for replacement. My bill was about half of what I anticipated. The tech allowed me to watch and showed me exactly how to make the repair if I needed to in the future. I will highly recommend them to anyone that asks, and they will be my first call in the future.

Shout out to Megan at the Harrisburg location for helping to get glass I had previously ordered.   The Mt Vernon location is currently shut down and we had no way to pick up our glass.  After what seemed like a million phone calls to find someone to help  - I finally heard back from Megan who helped find the glass and scheduled people to meet me to pick it up.   She was always responsive and got the job done!

Absolutely would never use again...Customer service great but the work was not even close to correct after 2 tries

Glass Doctor of Bemidji

Glass Doctor of Bemidji was fast and accommodating. They rearranged their schedule the week of Christmas to get my daughter's windshield fixed before she had to travel. There were no hassles with insurance, and they were excellent with communication too. Very impressive!

Glass Doctor did a fantastic job on my back window. It was really windy one night and a huge tree branch went through it. I called Glass Doctor and quickly got an appointment. It took less than an hour for them to fix my window and completely clear all the broken glass out of my car. They are a great bunch of people, very friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you!!!

I wasn’t able to drive my car due to my windshield being broken, but they were able to send a mobile tech out to my house and do it all within 45 minutes. The windshield is great quality at a lower price compared with other companies and the tech was easy to work with and very nice. I’ll be sure to recommend glass doctor to anyone who needs glass repairs!

Called about needing two windows placed.  They went to the house measured the exact size.  Checked with me on what I wanted.   Then went to the house and installed the windows.   We were out of town the whole time.   Price was very reasonable and John and others were great to work with.

We have had terrific service from Glass Doctor repairing a window that fell out from the second story and replacing Ram truck front window.  They went beyond our expectations on the window.  The service on both has been very quick and we are very pleased with the final products.  The office assistant kept us well informed and very friendly.

I have called and attempted to schedule an appointment for almost 4 weeks now and they can never provide a day or time that they have available.  I indicated that I work close to home and so I can make almost any time work, but still have yet to receive a call back.  I hope others are having better luck with this company, as I like to support local, but tough to do with no response.

Very professional organization.  I would definitely use their service again.

I can't say enough about the wonderful experience we had with our local PuroClean. Stephen responded immediately to our call and was able to start our damage removal right away. His staff came on the days and times expected. Everyone was friendly and professional. It was like having your friends and neighbors help you out! Our experience with PuroClean was perfect. Had a basement flood after sump pump died.  Water sat there for weeks (oops!). The owner of PuroClean came out promptly to inspect and provide a quote.  Their quote was fair, especially compared to other places whose rates seemed almost predatory.  They got the job done quick and well.  No more mold, it's very clean, and they were very professional, I would highly recommend.

I called to get a quote and was told by the after hours answer service rep not only could they not quote me but they have no idea when this companies regular hours are or the next time they will be open for me to speak with a regular representative for a quote. I called at 2pm, hours read 24x7.

After a not so great experience with another  restoration company (Rytech), I was relieved to be in the professional hands of Nick and Jordan.  They arrived on time, explained exactly what they were going to do, and then quickly got to work on restoring my home after a faulty water supply line wrecked havoc to my entire main living floor, basement and garage.  They were trustworthy, detailed, and customer focused.  They cleaned up and hauled away all the of the damaged materials that were removed, and left my home in good condition for what is expected after water damage. These people are wonderful! They come is and take care of everything. We have dogs, so it can get a little smelly. When they left, the house was beautiful, the furniture was moved and put back by their team and we just has a clean house! I recommend them for all of your cleaning needs!

Puroclean was hired to clean the ductwork of the HVAC system of my house. They were extremely thorough and clean. I wasn't able to be home the entire time they performed the cleaning so I had asked that they call me when the cleaning was finished. Not only did they call to let me know the cleaning was finished, but they also moved furniture back that I had moved to allow them space to perform the cleaning. I am very happy with the results and they were very professional as I had to re-schedule my original appointment. I highly recommend them for this duct cleaning service.

Ace Handyman Services Northern McHenry Western Lake Counties

I won a 4 hour service that I was promoted on Facebook. I was able to use a handyman service around the house. We needed some painting done. Manny did a fantastic job! We needed a pretty large wall repainted ( i had moon mirrios that totally took off the paint) and he painted an accent wall. He also painted the railings. They look very fresh. Thanks Ace Handyman Services! It was so easy to contact you and everyone was very friendly!

Jimmy installed lights over our island. Not an easy job. He is very experienced - lifelong in the trades. Also a super sweet guy.  Would definitely hire Ace Handyman again!! So helpful!!

David did a phenomenal job completing our dry wall repair. He was able to add the insulation back up in the wall by removing only a small amount of drywall to be able to pull the insulation up the wall and was able to give clear instructions on how to prep and paint. He was always on time, respectful of our home and most importantly, our dog liked him. She enjoyed supervising 😀

Manny is great. This is the second time I’ve had him here to do things and he does a great job! I will definitely request him again. He is knowledgeable and patient and does excellent work!

This company is top-notch! The owner has chosen only the very best craftsmen. I had a list as long as my arm with over 20 various tasks I needed to have done. Jimmy and Manny tackled and completed all of it in a single day! They moved pieces of heavy furniture from upstairs to downstairs and vice versa, carried unwanted items to the street and hauled it away, replaced a bathroom ceiling with drywall, fixed a toilet that wouldn’t flush, and did 16 additional tasks as well! It was hard to believe they could accomplish so much. They were tireless, kind, friendly, professional and thorough. It would be easy to write a 25 page of praise about these men and this company! Do not hesitate for a single moment with trusting them to do a fantastic job for you, no matter what you need to have done.

Our handyman, Irvin, was dispatched to install two outside electrical outlets. Irvin arrived early, assessed the problem, and fixed the issue quickly without any hiccups. The safety of my family was on the top of Irvin's mind while conducting his work. He thoroughly explained what he did and showed us that everything was fixed and all the outlets worked. He was very personable and cleaned the area before leaving. You can tell that he takes pride in his work. I highly recommend Irvin and will work with him again in the future.
