Madison was very easy to work with. Casey did a great job installing and giving instructions on remote control to open blinds. Blinds arrived in a timely manor. Would highly recommend this company.

They made the process as painless as possible. The consultant comes to your house with a bunch of styles and samples, and most importantly knowledge, so you can make selections based on your own lighting. They kept us informed throughout the order and installation  scheduling process. And the installer was friendly, courteous, clean and quick. Great people to work with.

Madison and Steve were just absolutely amazing. The product is also fantastic and the instalation was very quick and the technician that installed it was incredibly nice, and cleaned up everything once completed. I absolutely love my blinds and highly recommend Omaha Blinds and Shutters / Bumblebee Blinds.

When the time came to purchase blinds for our home, we did what almost everyone would do, a Google search to see what's out there, read some reviews and take it from there. Omaha Blinds & Shutters was one of the companies that came up with a bunch of positive Google reviews. I read through the reviews and then went to the Omaha Blinds and Shutters website to read a little bit more about the company. I liked the backstory of how Omaha Blinds and Shutters came to be a family company and with all of the positive reviews, decided to have them come to do a quote.

Stephen came by the house for the quote and he was courteous, efficient and passionate about making sure his measurements were accurate but also in ensuring a great customer experience. Stephen listened to what we were hoping to achieve in look, style and price (blinds can be expensive).

After having a few more quotes done by a few other vendors, the choice was clear, we were going with Stephen and Omaha Blinds & Shutters.

Stephen was in constant contact with us throughout the ordering process and addressed any concerns we had. Once the blinds arrived, the install was quick and they looked excellent. We did end up having an issue with one of the binds and Stephen replaced it in no time, at no cost with no questions asked.

I can't say enough about the excellent customer service that Stephen and Omaha Blinds & Shutters gave us along with some fantastic looking blinds! If you are in the market for some new blinds, you owe it to yourself to have Omaha Blinds & Shutters come out.

Elkhorn Glass, Inc.

I hired Elkhorn Glass to replace five windows in my 100-year-old home. Before you hire this company, read this review. The owner, Rick, told me during two separate estimates that he would be replacing rotten wood on the trim outside the window. He did not. I also was given the impression that aluminum coil was included with the window replacement (or at least that the old one was going to be left in tact and extended somehow). Rick knew this was my first home and first time buying windows and failed to tell me that wood would be exposed if window was not wrapped. He never told me that Elkhorn Glass does NOT wrap the window on the outside when installing pocket windows. All four of the other companies I received estimates from wrap the window with installation. This is industry standard, and therefore, that coupled with me being a newbie, he should have emphasized that they do not wrap and should have advised me that if I went with Elkhorn Glass, that I would ALSO need to find a siding company or different window company to wrap the window once done. Now, with bad weather coming, I am in a position where I am scrambling to find a contractor who has time, meanwhile knowing that we are supposed to get rain storms all week.

Elkhorn Glass omitted this info and left my coil (previously in good condition) hanging off my house!! (see photo) Wind blew it off that night leaving wood exposed and water intrusion. They also did not caulk properly, and it is already cracking, leaving my windows vulnerable to cold air and moisture. They slopped caulk on my antique woodwork.

One of their installers smelled like weed when he arrived and argued with me when I spoke up about the rotten wood trim not being replaced. Rick left me to handle the crew because he left halfway through the day for lunch and refused to come back when I called him to let him know his worker was getting argumentative with me refusing to replace the wood we had discussed. Rick should have stayed until the job was done.

When I complained to Rick later that day, he got in my face, told me weed was not a drug, yelled at me, & refused to leave my property, ringing my doorbell repeatedly and then reversing his truck to my garage and dumped all the windows on my driveway (in the rain no less) that he promised to haul away. Then he parked outside my house to intimidate me. Before he left he called me names. I had to call the police because I felt unsafe and at that point, he was a trespasser. EG is unprofessional, sexist & dishonest. I plan to file a claim against their insurance company to obtain reimbursement for damages and have filed a BBB complaint. Steer clear of this company.

We had a transom glass above a 9’ door crack. We asked for recommendations then called around to find the best value. We thought Elkhorn Glass fit our criteria. We were right. The glass is correct. The installation team of Joey and Mike were polite, professional and did a great job. Everything about Elkhorn Glass was top notch and we would call them for any glass needs in our future. We highly recommend Elkhorn Glass.

Had them re-screen several screens for me in April. They took over a month to get them done. When I went to pick them up they were all cut and the screens were terribly installed. The owner refunded me the total cost and said she would have them all redone and she would not charge me for the screens due to the delay and the fact that they were all damaged. I waited another month for them to get done and picked up my screens. They all looked good. I get home and the new screen that I had them make was the wrong size by six inches. Her employees came out and measured and still made it the wrong size. I took it back and provided another screen as a guide for the size that I needed. She again apologized and said she would make it right. I told her I would like to pay for her to re-screen the frame I provided as a pattern. Two months go by and I never hear from her. I stop in today to check on my screens and they are ready. She proceeds to now charge me for every screen that she had previously refunded me back in May. Her original outstanding customer service turned into a terrible situation. I told her that she had already refunded me for those previous charges due to the incompetence by her employees that led to it taking five months to get my screens back. She said it was too long ago to remember what she had told me originally. Needless to say when I drop $25k on new windows for my house this fall I know who I will not be using.

My windshield took a golf ball sized rock on the highway yesterday. It was pretty well cracked, even throwing shards into the cab. I searched for a glass shop close to home and found Elkhorn glass. I’m glad I did! The very next day I’m driving behind a brand new windshield. The price was really good. The people in the shop were all very pleasant and professional. I highly recommend them!

Great service and quality work.  Nice of them to give me a lift home while they replaced the truck windshield.  Excellent price and job was completed right on time.  I'll go back whenever I need glass work on cars!

Aire Serv of Elkhorn

They installed a new coil and condenser for me in the summer of 22, Summer of 23 The AC stopped working, turns out there wasn't any coolant in the system, it had leaked out. Call AireServ of Elkhorn and AireServ of Omaha picked up. They stated that the Elkhorn franchise went out of business and that they don't come out to Waterloo for service...(It's 9 minutes from Village Pointe to the property in Waterloo).
I called and had two different HVAC companies look at it, the first one refused to work on the equipment, said that the install was a butcher job and that all the equipment should just be replaced (Apex)
A second opinion found that the line set had to be replaced due to poor installation and the coil had to be pulled out to correct another issue,
AireServ is a franchise, and Omaha is separate from Elkhorn I'm told. That being said, I wouldn't recommend using AireServ based off of the poor experience I had on the phone with the Omaha franchise, they indicated that there had been other problems with more installations from the Elkhorn franchise, It was made pretty clear that they wanted nothing to do with it. Not even an offer to drive the extra little distance for a driving or fuel fee. You can tell by the picture I'm sharing that it goes to show that you always should go physically look at the completed work and don't assume professionals always do a professional job.

I was referred to AirServe by another company, and O, what a Blessing that was! From start to finish everything was done with integrity and great customer service.  From inspecting  my home to see what unit would serve me best, and picking out the unit, to completed installation, my new air conditioner was installed in about a week!  The follow up was great too.  I appreciate the entire staff of Airserve and I highly recommend them!
I was their first customer to get credit for a payment plan!

The annual maintenance on our HVAC system was professionally performed.  Communication throughout the entire process could not have been better.  We would highly recommend Aire Serv of Elkhorn!

The company returned my call in a timely
manner and set up an appointment for the same day. They then called and texted that my technician was on his way. Craig was my technician and also called directly to say he was on the way. He arrived on time, was quick and professional, explained what was wrong in a way that made sense, all while not judging my messy house (because let’s be real, doesn’t everyone worry about that, or is it just me?). I’m definitely happy with their service and grateful to get my heat back on before the weekend.

Greg and Kevin at Aire Serv were professional and answered all the questions I had. Greg was very knowledgeable. After install and set up, he made sure I understood how to use my system. I had a great experience and I highly recommended them.

Aire Serv has always been available for regular as well as scary moments. The furnace developed a rattle and a train whistle on a Friday night and the office was closed on weekends. An early Monday call scored me a Wednesday appointment but after a cancellation, Melissa called back and Greg came out that same Monday. He assessed the situation, rushed to procure the part before the facility closed and installed it that same Monday evening. I truly appreciate the extra efforts and follow through! I have finally been sleeping well knowing that I and the premises are safe. Thank you, Melissa, Greg and Aire Serv!

Minus the miscommunication by the office staff Melissa (we didn't see eye to eye on our situation and so it took an extra 5 days to get our home serviced) it was great! Once our tech came out he fixed our AC in 3 hours! Super nice guy, especially working on a unit outside in the awful heat and humidity.

Chris Andrews was the service professional who came to do our AC routine maintenance check, and he was professional, knowledgeable, kind, courteous and  informative. He didn’t push anything on us that we didn’t really need, but he also represented his company well by letting us know how our unit was doing and what we could likely expect from it in the coming months. Chris felt like having a friend in our home instead of a stranger. Hopefully Aireserv will do what they can to keep this guy.

Oma Rail Inc

Omarail just installed railing on our front porch and we love the look! I shopped around and their quote was the best. Customer service and professional installers were awesome!

Initially our fence was turned down for a permit because of our house location on a circle. Not one company in Omaha said they could get our permit approved but Adam said that he would get it approved and he did. We needed a 6 foot tall fence for a future pool this had to do with being within 3 miles of  the city limits of Omaha and still had to go bye their rules. This was an easement issue and utilities. Adam went in front of the planning board and was approved with four other contracts as well. you read this right not company said they could get my permit approved. We are very thankful to Adam and Omarail. Our dogs love the yard as do our kids.

I highly recommend using Omarail for your porch railings and gate. We recently hire Omarail for our new house project.  Tony the installer was awesome. He did a fantastic job with the installation!  In addition, the owner, Adam was courteous and friendly. The receptionist was also very polite and helpful with all my questions. We absolutely love our new porch. My dog is super happy and enjoy spending time with my family at our front porch. Thank you so much Omarail!!!

We had an A+ experience from start to finish! Everyone was very friendly and professional,  resulting in an outstanding customer experience.  We have had many compliments on our new railing.

Had a railing put in over 3 years ago by Oma Rail.  They did a wonderful job.  We really liked their showroom, so we could pick out the color that was best for our front steps and porch.  Have recomended them to all of our neighbors.

Aksarben Fence & Gate

We had a board on board, 6 foot fence installed and we are very happy with it. From the estimate to the install they were helpful, patient and professional. I asked them to come out twice for the estimate because I had more questions, which they were able to answer everything and find solutions for our problems. The wait was long (which I understand) but the install was smooth and the fence looks great.

We just had our 4ft black chainlink fence installed by this company and I can't say enough great things about this company. From day one our sales person Mark was not only super personable but very professional. The end result turned out great and it didn't break the bank. If you want a great company to get your fence installed I highly suggest you give Aksarben Fence & Gate a call.

I normally wouldn't leave a bad review unless it was really bad.  I asked for a 4' gate but they put in a less than 3' gate. Mark acknowledged they screwed up and offered to make it right.  He asked if I could work with them and I agreed, Instead of having them redo the whole side, I asked if they could just put the gate to open from the inside and make a spot for the electrical box to attach to the fence.  He told me no problem, but all they did was reverse the gate.  I called about the electrical box, and the owner said they won't do that.  I let it go, whatever.  But then my gate latch will not close so I ask the owner if he could take a look at it, considering I saved them $$$ by not replacing the whole side with a new gate, and possibly a simple fix?  Explaining how my gate was screwed up at the time, he was still very standoffish and said he'd look at it next time he was in the area.  I guess he was never in the area because I never heard a word from him about it.  Also there are gaps between the wood planks so you can see into the fenced in area.  Large gap between the gate and post.

Edit to respond: you are right I should have had you redo that side, I definitely regret that!I you specifically said you would check it when you were in the area and if it was a simple fix to get the gate to stay latched , you’d take care of it, which you never did. You completely misrepresented our conversation. I was not “complaining “ as you put it, I was trying to explain the past issues to see if we could work something out. You were quite defensive and said you didn’t know anything about the wrong size gate.

This company failed me. Install in winter come spring things went wrong. Told them my gates are installed so poorly. They came out and replaced one but told me the other was going to cost 400$. They did put a piece of wood over the gap but it looks so bad and doesn't help. (photo added) But why should I be paying another 400$ to replace a gate not even 6 months old at the time.

Called them again cause my dogs were opening the gate now. They told me it’s probably my dogs pushing it open with their head. Weird, since i pushed it open with my hand. Whatever I’ll put a lock on. Yet again, the gate door keeps coming open. Called again told they’d be out in two weeks. Never to be seen or heard from.

They also said that gates can have a gap of 3 inches but my gap is so big that it’s able to open with the lock!!! (photo added) There is no privacy or security with this fence.

Finally, to add to the mess. We had them do another property that has no animals but does have a pool. Surprise, surprise the locked gate cannot stay shut. Drive by you will see the rock that is put to keep it shut.

These people have a 5 star rating for a reason. We had our fence done in the middle of winter (couple days before Christmas). They were quick and clean. Then we had them do my fathers house, again quick and clean. With the weather being nicer we started noticing issues, boards with missing nails and other small things. We called and they fixed the issues that day. Couldn’t ask for a better company.

They were awesome! Had a 6ft wood fence installed in back yard with gate, done fast and very nice. Robert is a super nice guy, and the price was right! I will definitely use them again!

Ace Handyman Services Wichita

Wow! Nick was professional, efficient, and his level of skill at everything he did was second to none!!!! He tackled and addressed issues even professionals in that field struggled with! Painting, drywall, door adjustments, deck refinishing, bicycle suspension in the garage and more! I think if you asked (and paid) him he’d rebuild the titanic for you, no problem! Basically there wasn’t a problem I asked him to handle that he couldn’t address and address with excellence. If you decide to go with Ace handyman services you won’t be disappointed. I look forward to utilizing their services for years to come. It’s refreshing to find a company and workers who still care about the customer and the quality of their work.

Nick showed up on time and did and did an excellent job! This job was for a commercial property with an exterior mounted lantern that had been stripped out of a stucco exterior. I had great communication from this company and Nick who did the work. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for commercial work or residential work.

They came and did siding work.. removed and replaced more than originally thought. Very professional., on time and i felt like they went above and beyond to please.. i was very thankful for their help! I would recommend.

Scott was very knowledgeable and professional. He worked very efficiently and did a fantastic job. Very satisfied and definitely will call again when I have a project. This project was to clean all my gutters and to make everything perfect which he did. It was worth the money a quality job always is.

I was very happy with the work that Ace Handyman Services did. Robert arrived and went right to work on my clogged downspout. He was professional and friendly and did high quality work. I will be calling them again when I need work done.

PuroClean Restoration Services

John and Chris were hands-on along with their whole crew when we had a major waterline break that flooded our fully furnished walkout basement. Water soaked carpet and drywall was immediately removed. The number of driers and dehumidifiers installed the first day was impressive and no doubt shortened the cleanup phase. Constant moisture testing ensured repairs were made when ready. Their team of employees and contractors made expert repairs, and diligently protected surviving furniture. They had a good relationship and reputation with our insurance company that resulted in our being paid incredibly fast. We were so satisfied with their insurance work we used them to do extensive enhancements resulting in an upgraded environment at our own expense. Well done to the whole PuroClean team!

Writing this review a few years after we worked with Puroclean. As with many homeowners, we have our fair share of challenging stories working with contractors, including ones that installed a faulty pipe, leaving us with water damage and mold. Recently, while reflecting on the various challenges we've had with contractors, we wondered if we'd had any really excellent experiences with a contractor and PuroClean were the first to come to mind.
Chris and John were incredibly responsive, reassuring, and thorough in addressing our concern. We reached out to them after our original contractor refused to address the faulty pipe and resulting damage. We knew we might have to involve lawyers, and PuroClean was very helpful in documenting the damage, the cause, and the needed fixes, helping us make the case to our contractor and their insurance company that they were ultimately responsible. Even if we had ended up covering the expense ourselves, we found PuroClean very reasonably priced, especially considering the quality and timeliness of their work.  Even their subcontractors were fabulous. The restored wall looks better than before.
I hope we don't need restoration services anytime soon, but PuroClean will be a very easy repeat call if we do. We've recommended them to many friends finding themselves in a similarly difficult situation.

I reached out to multiple companies for water damage/possible mold. PuroClean reached out and helped me find a solution before any of the other companies even responded to my initial email. John spent the time to look at my concerns, gave me honest answers, and respond to all my questions, even though I ultimately did not need their services.

PuroClean did an excellent job with water damage at my house! They were friendly, responsive, offered a very competitive price, showed up on time, and shared photos of the before and after work. I would 100% recommend PuroClean Omaha.

Puroclean is a good company and Dave in particular was super responsive and had excellent communication during the cleanup process regarding a sewage water leak in the basement. The work was done quickly, efficiently and for a competitive price. They were also very flexible on scheduling. I will be using Puroclean next time I need a service like this! 10/10

Glass Doctor of Omaha

WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!
I needed to get my windshield replaced due to a small crack. I had an appointment scheduled and they didn't even take my car in until 3-4 hours after that. Trish said they couldn't do it because it was raining, if they did it at the scheduled time it would've been done.
Trish rescheduled me to another day, and again it was raining so they couldn't do the repair. However, the technician touched my car/windshield (although they couldn't fix it that day) and made the crack larger AND created a new 6-8 inch crack (See photo). They didn't even bother to let me know, I realized when I picked it up.
At this point, I asked Trish for a refund and wanted to go elsewhere. Trish told me that isn't necessary and that she'll get manager approval to give me a partial refund. For some reason I agreed to this.
They installed the new windshield and Trish said I'll be receiving a $200 refund within 5-7 days. It's been 1 MONTH and there is still no refund. I call consistently and ask the status, Trish keep saying it's pending, it'll post in a couple days, and that they've switched vendors so it's taking longer than normal. No one in their right mind, knows that it takes over a month to receive a refund. It's now to the point where whenever I call Trish sends me right to voicemail and Matt, the owner, won't even speak to me.
THIS BUSINESS IS PATHETIC AND HAS NO INTEGRITY. STAY AWAY!

I went to the shop.  They gave me an appointment to bring my car in to be seen and discuss the repairs
I came at the correct time.  The gentleman came to my car. Looked at it for less than a minute and then asked me to make another appointment when he had more time to look at it.   Neither of these employees seemed to care much about getting my business. I won't be making another appointment.

I had my window compromised when somebody tried to break into my truck. I needed the window repaired somewhat in a timely manner as I had a job, whereas, Glass Doctor had me scheduled the very next day. In addition, they were considerably less in price than three of their competitors that I called. They were very professional and courteous and would definitely recommend them.

I had a rock chip in my 2021 Gladiator Mojave and called Glass Doctor of Omaha.  The service was fantastic, stopped in first thing in the morning and was out the door with the repair completed in 30 minutes.  The staff was super helpful and got me in quickly even though I technically didn’t have an appointment.  I will be back for all of my future glass needs!  Thanks again!!

I couldn't find a new sunroof for my vehicle anywhere. I called here and the receptionist Trisha found my glass in 15 mins and had me scheduled within 48 hours. I was thinking it would take an hour or 2 but they brought me my keys in under 30 minutes. FANTASTIC FOLKS

Pure Maintenance Omaha Mold Inspection and Remediation

Jeff Neeley with Pure Maintenance is very knowledgeable and professional! He came to my home and did a very thorough inspection and had very helpful tips and recommendations. He spent time taking samples and even cleaned five vent covers while he was here. I was very impressed and I highly recommend this company!

Jeff was patient with us as we weighed our options in fixing our house, and we appreciated that he was careful to ensure that his services are what we needed to fix our elusive problem -- we never felt rushed.  He also gave great advice for mold prevention and was all-around easy to talk to.  The treatment was quick and surprisingly effective.  We’re really happy to be back in our house again!

My experience with pure maintenance was better than I could have ever asked for! Jeff was very knowledgeable and explained everything thoroughly before, during, and after the whole project. Jeff kept in contact to make sure everything was up to par. I cannot thank him enough for the great work he did.
