This company did more damage to my belonging's then the flood did. They left all my belonging sitting in water for weeks and never finished the job. If you have a choice choose somebody else anyone else.

JR and his crew— Jon, JUaNa, Jacob and Gustavo were very professional. They came in And assessed the damage and the work required in a very expedient manner.  Once they got the go signal from the insurance company they came in right away with the proper equipment and personnel to do the job.. JR also answered some of my questions and concerns even after hours.. they did an excellent job and were very considerate of our time as well as our desire to have the water damage mitigated.. Thank you so much JR and crew !

We had a leak in November, our insurance sent this company, they cleaned up the water, removed insulation and cut a hole in the ceiling and that was it. It's April now and I can't get them to come to complete the restoration. I have called 8 times and it's always, "We'll call you back to schedule" except the last time I called when I was told they lost files and the guy who handled things doesn't work there anymore and the manager will call me back, well, that was March 20 and still no call. If you want something done halfway then use this company.

Paul Davis helped us when our roof leaked, causing a portion of our ceiling to come down in our master bedroom. They provided an estimate promptly and starting the repairs quickly. The gentleman who fixed our ceiling was polite, on time, did a fabulous job and cleaned up when the job was complete. I highly recommend Paul Davis.

These guys did an amazing job! We had category 3 water damage and they responded quickly and very professionally! Ashley, the estimator, was my go to person and made everything so easy for me. I like to be more involved and updated probably more than most, and she was on top of filling me in and is such a great communicator! Luis, the water mitigation manager, was fantastic! He was also a great communicator and checked in before they left each day! They cleaned up all debris and mopped up the floors before leaving every day so the house was a little less chaotic than it could have been considering the circumstances! We hopefully will never need them again, but if we do, we will certainly be using them! Highly recommended!

Ace Handyman Services Fayetteville

Needed 5 old outdoor lights removed and replaced with new ones on our house. The handyman showed up right on time and started working within a few minutes. Come to find out the brackets on 3 of the lights would not fit to my house. Brian went to lowes with me to make sure I got lights with brackets that would fit. He also opened the boxes to make sure. Once we had everything needed Brian quickly replaced the remaining lights. He was professional in what he did. I,m pleased with the handyman service and would use them again and request Brian.

Had this service build a handrail up 2 steps and onto porch. They use a 4x4 a couple of 2x4 s and about 10 spindles. They charged $1200. I was told it would be $895 plus supplies(which I already thought was high). Well I know there is not $300 in supplies on that porch and the invoice is not itemized to show supplies. The woman who answers the phone was very rude and kept talking over me. When I asked her to stop talking so I could finish what my concerns were she told me not to tell her to stop talking. Great customer service there!!!  Your pricing is very misleading but nobody wants to hear that or how that could be fixed by giving in person estimates so that people know what their end cost will be. I will not use this service again and do not recommend it to anyone.

Very courteous, professional and efficient. Arrived on time and did not waste any time. Repaired the two doors we had problems with in less time than originally thought and saved us some money. Knowledgeable in his work and valued our belongings. Very pleased with this experience with ACE Handyman Services.

I had shoulder surgery and I ended up having all kinds of things go wrong in my house. I needed a kitchen faucet aerator, ceiling fan installed, toilet flush valve replaced & some caulking & grout for my bathtub area. I booked a 4 hr block & Brian came out. Very nice & professional gentleman and he knew what he was doing and was able to complete everything in the time allotted. What also impressed me was he wore covers over his shoes and did a great job cleaning up after himself. Definitely recommend Ace Handyman services!

PuroClean

Puro clean appears to be knowledgable and well meaning, but due to my experience with the insurance company and having both present in my home at once, I feel some deception occurred. Firstly, I was told by my insurance agent to identify where a water leak was coming from in my home and have it confirmed. The initial plumber who came to my house spoke with my insurance agent directly stating the plumbing was the cause of the leak. Puro clean/ Aaron spoke to me seemingly privately* telling me after a plumper company put unnecessary holes in my walls that he blamed the water leak on my daughter and from not having the curtain closed. He also stated to me that he believed the issue was pre-existing.

Note- I have lived in my home since 2018 and never needed repair work to this extent, and wouldn’t know how to cover up previous damage. I also have gotten repairs on my plumbing a few times but for seemingly minor stuff. I do not appreciate the blame being placed on my daughter.  Not to mention, confirmation about the cause of the leak was given to Elizabeth first hand from the plumber! This evaluation was over $100 to complete. And if Aaron felt the cause was something else, he could have said so the first day where both the insurance agent and his team were in my home doing mitigation, but he did not. So why ask me to pay someone to confirm the cause if Puro clean is just going to make up their own reason and blame the owner?

After this, I experienced more
Trouble and delay with my claim which leads me to believe some triangulation occurred and false reports were given to my insurance company. My claim was initiated August 31 2022! And is still being evaluated and it’s almost February 2023.

I also feel that the hole Aaron put into my daughters closet was unnecessary. The plumber had already identified the issue, and Aaron drilled even more holes into my home that I had to pay for in the end. This hole was not small. It was extremely huge square drilled into my closet.

Also the insurance agent said in front of puro clean that no repairs are to be done until finding and resolving the water leak, so it made no sense for me to have to contact and pay another person when Aaron was just going to try to find the issue on his own and report to my insurance company what he THOUGHT was the issue and then putting excessive demolition on my home that I had to pay for.

Puro clean charged $3000 dollars to essentially destroy my home, and the insurance company paid me $51 for repairs.

Outstanding crawl space remediation service from PuroClean!  Aaron was extremely helpful in explaining the process and he always returned my phone calls in a timely manner to answered my questions.  Customer service and pricing is the best.  I highly recommend PuroClean for any crawl space clean-up issues.  PuroClean will definitely beat the competition in cost estimates and customer service.

Aaron Davis was very proactive during the evaluation and remediation of our crawl space.  He was able to relay information in a way that I could understand and eliminated a lot of unnecessary worry and stress.  I really appreciated Aaron's willingness to work within our time frame and his customer service is top notch.  Aaron was always timely with returning phone calls and emails.  Our crawl space issue was inspected by four different experts and overall, we got the best service at the best price around with PuroClean.

Puroclean was the first call I made, they were very fast and efficient. They explained everything very clearly and simply in terms I could understand. It was so nice to have such an easy going technician, especially when dealing with water damage. I would highly recommend them. I hope to not need them again ,but if I do I know they're a phone call away, and ready and willing to get the job done!

Aaron was very responsive and arrived minutes after my call. He was very professional and was able to answer my slew of question and reassure me of all the ins and out of water damage and what was needed for my particular occurance. We went over the action plan and worst case scenario. Really was a pleasure working with them. I would recommend them to anyone and hopefully this doesn't happen again but if I need to have something done in the future I will be giving them a call.

Paul Davis Restoration of Northern Virginia

They cleaned their paint supplies on our back patio leaving paint splatter everywhere, on the siding, on our door, on the patio. They then blamed us, and said it was already there. Our insurance used this company, so there wasn’t much we could do about it. They did, however, pay this company MORE to fix their mistake, and months later, Paul Davis restoration still haven’t fixed their mistake. It’s been 3 months. They took the insurance money and didn’t finish the job. AVOID.

New Review: The Team at Paul Davis Restoration, stellar/amazing!!!! Extremely professional!!! Extremely friendly!!! Highly knowledgeable!!!! Fully transparent!!!! After the initial, amazing, work they did after water damage in my home, I knew I had to have Paul Davis help future upgrades…cabinet and banister upgrades.

I informed Rebecca Brown about the look I wanted (1940’s vintage mahogany) and she colored matched the staining of my cabinets perfectly. Dave Honaker along with Rebecca got their team geared up to start within 24hrs after my approval of proposal (fair pricing too I must add!) My cabinets and banisters are beyond perfection today. Project is still on going but what has transpired thus far is a tear jerker for sure!!!

The work I see so far today is EXACTLY what I imagined. When contractors do great work and it’s worth every penny I give kudos. And everything is perfectly clean when they leave for the day…OUTSTANDING!!!! KUDOS Paul Davis Team!!!!!

Previous Review: Paul Davis came and addressed issues that were caused by a separate contractor. They swept in within an hour of being notified by my homeowners insurance. Addressed the water damage issue set up equipment walked me through the entire process of water, mitigation and what would need to occur with renovations. It was continuous communication with the project team and management. I have never seen a contractor in 20 years provide this level of customer communication. I will definitely be utilizing Paul Davis for future remodeling on my home that I proactively want to initiate. It’s just in this one instance it was fixing damage by another contractor, so not something I anticipated doing. But overall I am very happy with Paul Davis restoration (their communication, material available to pick from for restoration and overall craftsmanship for installing said materials). I would highly recommend them to not only other homeowners, but I will be recommending them to my clients that are in the engineering construction industry.

I was very pleased with the service I received all around from the Paul Davis of Nova team to help get my home back in order after a washer overflow situation. The scheduler, estimator, and project manager (Jeff, Eamon, Trevor) were all very responsive and followed up in a timely manner and made it super easy to get insurance approval by handling the process. The crew who repaired my ceiling and floor were were organized, thorough and respectful of my property and the workmanship was top notch. Not all contractors are reliable like this and it made the experience so much less stressful for me. Would def recommend PD for your water damage restoration/repair needs.

The Paul Davis team was exceptional.  They replaced my roof and painted the entire house.  They were very thorough and knowledgeable...Answered all my questions...and did so at a very reasonable price.  Great, quality work performed by the Paul Davis work crews.

10/9/23 - The most inept organization I've ever witnessed. Major scammers. I needed a simple bathroom re do, but they damaged 2 different replacement tubs, didn’t screw in plumbing all the way which caused another leak to occur and thus had to order a second replacement vanity, terrible paint job (got paint on my personal belongings, hammered in nails and painted over them), chipped my ceiling with a ladder… the list goes on. Go with someone else if you need timely restoration. I’m out of money for hotels and they can’t even send a plumber same day to address an ongoing leak!

Update 11/10/23 - They are officially offering pay me out because they can’t do anything right.

Update 11/21/23 -   Still no bathtub, vanity, floor or toilet.

Update 11/30/23 -  Still no bathtub, vanity, floor or toilet.

Update 12/14/23 - Still no bathtub, vanity, floor or toilet. Project managers refuse to take their jobs seriously. Careless contractors who continue to break things.

Update 12/21/23 Work is still not complete. It has been 3 months. PDR is denying cutting holes in my walls and has not returned to finish work. Many fixes to be made still. Project managers are now stating "I'm not their client" and the Owner of PDR emailed me asking to take down my review. Beware of this business!!

We are so thankful for the management and staff at Brite Glass, Reno. From the owner Mike, to the residential specialist Marissa to the installers Clint and Ben, each person we encountered worked to help us replace our boat's center walk-through windshield. There are very few glass shops who deal in marine glass. Thankfully, we found Brite Glass. They were friendly and professional and were able to create a custom templet for the piece we needed, order it and install it--all for a very reasonable price. We are happy to be back on the water. Quick, easy and friendly. This place was recommended to me by a friend and I'm glad I stopped by for a windshield chip repair. I'll definitely be going back.

I had two minor pits to my Windshield that were repairable.  They were very busy on the day I came in for the repair, however, they were very professional and courteous.  Brite Glass was recommended by my Agent and he uses it for his windshield repairs. They stand behind the repair and others recommend them  My Thanks to Alex Forman and Lizzie Ferdon for handling this.

I went in with a cracked windshield that nobody wanted to touch.   They gave me many options and we so helpful and nice people to work with.   I HIGHLY recommend them!!

Silver State Fence & Stain LLC

Silver State did a great job on a new fence  install at my residence. I was happy with the bid and the installation was completed in a couple days once they started. I had to book pretty far out (3 months) but that’s how it is going with most contractor work these days. No complaints and very happy with my new fence.

Ron and his crew did excellent work extending our vinyl fence 2 sections. Ron made sure we were completely satisfied before he left. They sure know what they’re doing👍. Would definitely use again and recommend👍.

Silver State Fence & Stain did an incredible job - bringing my original design from concept to reality. They are great to work with, easy to communicate with, and don't stand around. They work, and work hard. From the job boss, to the daily crew, to the stain guy ... professional all the way. They were on time, each and every morning. They gave us a fair price, and stuck to it.
This job involved replacing the non-property line fences and gates that faced Drew Drive, and South Hills Drive. I was determined to use mixed materials - the corrugated steel, steel posts and cross members for the vehicle fence for durability, and then wood to soften the design. I think it's a more dynamic overall design. It took longer than either I, or Silver State, thought, but the end result is sooooo worth it.

[Please see Yelp for more critical reviews from a variety of recent Silver State customers.] We paid $14,000 for a fence + multi-gate project with Silver State several years ago. The main gate to our property, which they installed, was mis-measured and welded terribly, and for months would not properly open OR close. They finally - after countless phone calls and emails on my part - came back and "repaired” it, but it was still so poorly constructed that it's now permanently closed, unusable and barely rigged up with wire, as the welding has sheared off entirely. This is a nightmare in winter, as the gate is extremely heavy and must be open in snowy weather so cars can pass through. Worst of all, it leaves us without a safely fenced yard for our kids, and is itself a safety hazard.

I have called Silver State countless times. I have emailed. I have met with nice people who assured me they'd run this up the flagpole, only to never get back to me again. I have tried and tried and tried, as has my husband. We are at our wits end here, and can honestly say this is the most unprofessional,  negligent job we've ever hired out as homeowners. It has also involved a HUGE amount of recapping and reviewing a contract/design plan that was probably never even feasible to begin with. (As in digging up archived emails to have yet another conversation with yet another Silver State person who will disappear yet again.)

It. Has. Been. Terrible.

Now when people come over and say, "Wow, ugh, what’s wrong with your gate?" I tell them all about Silver State and ask them to tell their friends. Now I'm telling you.

Gross as it feels to leave a bad review for a local family business, this is truly next-level and something we tried to remedy many, many times. We also screwed up royally by paying these guys in the first place and not filing a complaint with the state board.

PS: I loved their stain guy. He has absolutely nothing to do with this.

I am extremely happy and pleased with the whole process.  Highly recommend this company.  They gave me a much fairer price compared to the other quotes I got elsewhere.  The bidder picked the perfect door to match the old one and the install was A+, the door is totally sealed and they did immaculate work. It honestly turned out better than I thought it would!

Ace Handyman Services Tri-Cities WA

Currently I have a big project with ACE handyman services... To rebuild our deck.
Jason and Kyle really took their time in answering my endless questions.
Now the old deck was out of the way, and the team is working on the structure underneath the new deck.
I have been very pleased with the work done so far, and can't wait to see the new deck when it's done.

Josh did a great job attending to a number of things around the house. His efforts included, repairing the cabinet door, replacing the handset on my front door, assembling a piece of furniture, and hanging floating shelves which turned out to be a very challenging job. Because of his ability, I am bringing him back to take care of more things. He is a creative, thinker and great to work with.

Josh's first visit went so well, I had him come back for a second time. Again, he efficiently installed a number of thing that allowed me to cleanup my garage and laundry room, made repairs to the house and installed a couple of fans. He even helped me remove a dead mouse from under the kitchen range.

John did a great job of installing a new toilet.
He was efficient, nice, and knowledgeable.
John was at my place Wednesday to install a toilet. During the install he noticed water damage. I then made another appointment to have him come back and replace my floor. When he started ripping up the floor he showed me there was a lot of water damage and he had to remove part of the sub floor. John worked on the floor all day Friday and half the day on Saturday to finish it up. He did another great job. John is very Thorough , he showed me what was wrong, and what would be needed to get the job done. Thank you for a job well done.

Steven did a terrific job! With the scarce amount of siding on hand he really had a challenge, but he made it work. After it is painted it will be perfect. Worth the premium to get this FINALLY done !!!

What a fantastic job Kyle did. He replaced 6 or 7 laminate wood planks, that were in the middle of the floor, that were peeling in places, which we tried to disguise, doing a terrible job! Put floor trim board down and did all of this rather quickly! My husband and I are extremely pleased with the work done and would HIGHLY recommend Kyle from Ace Handyman. Starting a new list of other things we need to get done. Thank you Ace and thank you Kyle!!
