From measuring and placing an order through final installation all of the staff have  done a great job. They kept us informed of the timeline on how long it would take for shutter/blind assembly through delivery. They installed around our renovation timeline and came back to remove and replace shutters when glass had to be replaced. True professionals, Great value and quality products!

Have used Budget Blinds twice.  They have a great selection and good service.  When they installed shutters in my bathrooms, they looked great and they left no mess.  They will be installing faux wood blinds in the remaining windows in about 4 weeks.  Their selection of colors, etc. was great.

Mrs. Brigit Young was fabulous! She was prompt, courteous and extremely professional. Brigit answered all of our questions and was exceptionally helpful in our decision making. We were highly satisfied and would recommend Budget Blinds of Tallahassee. Also, Chason Marshall came when shades came in. Our master bath floor needed to be re-tiled and painted after a sewer pipe break under the slab was repaired.  The workers did a great job with demo, tile, and paint.  They cleaned up thoroughly when finished.  The estimator, Ken Townsend, was very helpful through the process.

I had a water claim that was previously handled by another restoration company who I was not impressed with due to their poor customer service and workmanship. I decided not to let them complete the last phase of my bathroom project and I hired Paul Davis Restoration of East Charlotte to do the remaining repairs. Paul Davis was a referral from my insurance company. My project was assigned to Ken Townsend who was my Project Manager.  The very first day I spoke with Ken on the phone he was able to come out to inspect the repairs and I had an estimate within a day or so. What made this project easy for me is the fact that Ken was very responsive to my needs. He communicated with me in a timely fashion and promptly scheduled the work that needed to be done by the subcontractors. Ken also listened to the few concerns that I had along the way and made sure everything was addressed before project completion. I recommend Paul Davis to anyone who may be experiencing a water restoration claim and I highly recommend that they request Ken Townsend as their Project Manager.

I had accidental damage that needed to be fixed. I was given a few options by my insurance. I invited quotes from a few and met them in person. They put sign up 4 miles before the area that they were working on I-26 that the right lane was closed. It took 20 min to get to the place that they were work. 1 min to get by. Worry about traffic management.

Fired a veteran who worked hard  bust his tail was very unorganized, never met anyone in HR .. veteran was fired through another employee for no real reason the boss told the employee which made less than the veteran to call and fire veteran with no real provided reason, broke a lot of safety codes didn't address a lot of issues that were brought up. Pay was great many unfair practices and favoritism.

Aggressive highway driver with no regard to others. Company vehicle driver cutting people off and throwing his hands up up at them while driving 20mph over legal limit. If their gvt contract work is anything like their driving... scary.

PuroClean of Martinsville & Danville

I had a water line break and had standing water in the lower level of my home. I called Puroclean after business hours and they were here within an hour and a half. Bill & Romero were amazing to work with! They are very professional & got to work right away tearing up the saturated flooring and drying everything out. As a new home owner, I had never been through anything like this and obviously had lots of questions; Bill took the time to explain everything to me and walk me through the process step by step. I cannot say enough about this company and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of services whether it be with fire, water or mold. They definitely made this process a little less stressful and I whole heartedly appreciate that!

I had a house fire. My insurance co. Sent them.   They were unprofessional.  Money and prescriptions drugs went missing.  I complained  I was brushed off.   I had all my tools taken from my locked house and put in my unlocked basement instead of putting them in storage as promised. Then all of a sudden the tools were gone. Stolen. I ask for pictures of the tools he put in the basement he told the police he had.  The pictures were all of a sudden missing too.   I was lied to. Many new items that should have been saved were thrown away.  I wouldn't trust these guys i I am still waiting g for pictures that were never sent.   They started the job. After the initial job they quit working. Promised they were working but nothing was finished. I finally had to threaten them to get my stuff back. Since they never put them in storage the took them to the shop.  4 weeks later I got the stufffback inpeices. None of my furniture was clean.  The clothing was in a bag still smoke damaged.   It was a nightmare.

I have had several issues occurring in different properties (mold and air quality) that required the expertise of Puroclean to clean up. They were extremely professional and timely in their response to the resolving the problem. I would strongly recommend them for any type of clean up work as I found them to be extremely proficient, professional, and reasonably priced.

Paul Davis Restoration & Remodeling of Greater Columbia

Just today we finished a multi-year, non-voluntary, insurance covered house renovation for water damage caused by an attic HVAC leak. Paul Davis(PD) did ALL of the repair portion for my renovation.

There were several issues I encountered along the way due to certain PD employees. Due to these issues I left a low previous review on a different platform. Ultimately PD fired these individuals and the crew that replaced them has been Top Notch. The Bill and Nick team were AMAZING!

I have stated several times that if I’d had Nick working my house from the beginning things would have been PERFECT! He even went back and fixed soo many of issues left by the previous crew.

I unfairly stated that I would not recommend PD to a friend (I stand by that with the initial crew). However, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND the team that Paul Davis has working for them now and give thanks to them for seeing an issue and taking appropriate steps to fix it. Props to Lucia for the handling of my previous review!

PD completed the following:

Full kitchen remodel and it looks amazing! New cabinets, new Flooring, I went with a custom counter top but they installed all the appliances. Everything from pull out shelves and soft close drawers. Nick nailed all of it.

Full bathroom remodel. New flooring, new tub, new vanity, new sheet rock. Again, it looks amazing!

New flooring throughout 90% of the house. All looks perfect! I went with a Rigid Vinyl Plank flooring and it is exactly what I hoped for.

Ceiling install in 90% of the house. I decided against popcorn ceilings for ease of cleaning and definitely should have gone with a higher level of ceiling finish (I didn’t even know that was a thing).

New walls in 90% of the house. All well done and painted quickly. Paint crew was amazing as well.

New attic access, new light fixtures, new fans, new appliances. Everything good to go.

All things considered I WOULD HIGHLY recommend Paul Davis to a friend and am glad that Nick, Bill, and Lucia were able to finish this years long saga.

Paul Davis came to the rescue after another restoration company decided to abandon the job. PD was professional, their subcontractors were on time, treated us like family, and performed well. The workmanship was excellent. Oh, Paul Davis didn't hound us and threaten to take a lien out on our home during the negotiations with our insurance company; we actually felt like the clients! It was truly a pleasure working with them.

I am very pleased with the prompt response and service I received from Paul Davis Restoration. Within an hour of my call to my Homeowners insurance I had a call from a representative of Paul Davis Restoration, three hours after that I had technicians (Justin and Ned) in my home starting the mitigation service. Thank you.

Remodeled bathroom to include a vanity.  Nick was very skilled with carpentry, electric, and tile work. Recommend this company enthusiastically.

The Paul Davis in Lexington, SC is a complete scam! They use cheap contract services and cut corners with supplies and materials. Collecting profit from both sides, customer and insurance, in an back-handed way. My advice, choose another repair estimator service, or you will be paying more than you should.

Royal Aire

Thank you five stars. Quality product. Professional installation, the crew worked together, everyone demonstrated skills to quickly complete the work required. Excellent problem solvers, kept me informed and respectful with my property, using drop cloths to protect floors, including vacuuming any dust. They worked as a team.
I wish I would have installed these heating and cooling units earlier. I expect having installed these units it will increase my home value, including resale, and will making the house warmer and cooler. I recommend Royal Aire

Royal Aire and more specifically, Elijah, are now our go-to HVAC folks. They came within a couple of hours and Elijah dug into our geo-thermal system and diagnosed a short in the previously installed thermostat wiring. He was friendly, patient, meticulous, and is definitely an expert. The "experts" that installed the system originally neither wired the thermostat nor hooked up the emergency heat feature of the system. You can tell from the before and after wiring pics displayed. We will be calling Royal Aire from now on. Highly recommended!

Royal Aire installed central air in our home and they were extremely professional, polite, careful, hardworking, detail oriented, quick, and knowledgeable! The entire team worked very hard to get our air up and running and still took the time to listen to specific things we wanted done to our historic home. We are very pleased we went with them and we feel like they will be there to support us over the years with any needs we may have. It was so nice to feel at ease with having them in and out of our house working while we weren’t home. They even took the time to be careful not to let out our pets and they always cleaned up very well. We had such a great experience with them!
