I recently had an experience with Agnew Door and Window, and unfortunately, it left much to be desired. I had placed an order for a set of doors with the expectation that they would be ready within a two-week timeframe. To ensure accurate measurements, I even provided them with the original doors. However, the entire process turned out to be quite disappointing.

Initially, I reached out to inquire about the progress of my order on day 9, as I was told they would be ready by then. To my surprise, no communication was initiated from their end. When I finally called, I was informed that the completion would be pushed to the following Monday. This delay was rather frustrating. As promised, I followed up on Monday, only to be given yet another rescheduled date – this time for Wednesday.

Upon collecting my order, it was disheartening to discover that they had only prepared 11 doors instead of the 12 I had originally requested and been charged for. Even when confronted with the discrepancy, their attempt to convince me that I had ordered only 11 was both perplexing and disappointing. This necessitated placing a new order for the missing door, further elongating the process.

When I proceeded to install the doors, a staggering six of them were wrongly sized, despite the fact that I had given them the original doors to ensure accuracy. This prompted me to return the misfit doors, leading to another two-week wait for a corrected order. Astonishingly, even the doors they delivered on the second attempt were incorrect in size.

Perhaps the most baffling part of this ordeal was that, out of the 12 doors I ordered, a significant six required modifications to their mortices just to fit properly. Seeking resolution, I contacted them to discuss a refund for the adjustments needed. Regrettably, the response was rather elusive; I was assured that someone would reach out to me, but that never transpired.

In conclusion, while Agnew Door and Window might be satisfactory for standard, non-custom orders, my experience with them was less than satisfactory for custom orders. If you are seeking customized doors, it might be prudent to either acquire a blank door and handle the modifications yourself or explore other reputable shops in the city that can better meet your needs.

Refuse to honor their own work.

Door hinge they installed lasted 3 weeks, fell apart after normal use, and they charged us AGAIN to fix it.

The woman on the phone was very nice and super helpful but the gentleman I spoke with was quite aggressive and unwilling to listen. He immediately blamed us with no possible thought that his product or installation was possibly just faulty.

Don’t recommend.

Reply to business: Yes we would very much appreciate you honoring your appointment commitment that we have already agreed to pay for. Especially since that was the only scenario we were given to get you to agree to fix the work in the first place.
If a warranty was voided by the removal of the product then meeting half way would have made for a different discussion. It was not mentioned by any of the 3 employees we spoke with multiple times today.
There is video footage of every time the door was opened until the moment the hydraulics stopped working, and then again when the arm came apart.
We did remove the piece after it broke off simply in order to ensure the safety of our guests as they entered.
The shop is closed on weekends when the issue took place and we had to take precautionary measures was all.
We truly wish you could have simply evaluated your product and installation before becoming irritable and unwilling to listen to our issue.

Used Agnew for a new front door and french closet doors.  Everyone was great and followed through with timelines and promises.  A spotlight on our door wasn't right and they made it right for us.  We are using them again for interior doors and another exterior door.  Highly recommend.

I am very disappointed
I do not recommend this place when they left I checked out side and The window was cracked on the corner. They did not install it correctly. When I called the guy said that they can't do anything. If I could I would give it 0 stars.

Won't use them again. Now won't return my call after 7200 job.time for court.

PuroClean of Aurora

The unexpected water damage was stressful and stinky.  I was emotionally reactive because I had NO IDEA what to do.  Chris was knowledgeable, decisive and calm over the phone.  He got a crew out quickly that made my home livable again right away! They answered ALL the many questions while they were working, really educating my son in the process. They were fun AND got the job done!! Chris helped me have conversations with homeowners insurance and general contractor to put the house back together. I've since sought his opinion on other homeowning decisions. The water damage was a disaster but meeting Chris & crew has made my life better,  both immediately and in the long run. My neighbor had flooding that leaked over into my condo. Chris Z. Was helping my neighbor and check to see if I was being affected. As soon as we realized that I was being flooded as well, Chris was able to help mitigate the damages in a quick professional manner. The team then promptly came out and removed all the water damaged flooring and drywall. I greatly appreciate all of their help.

We had a leak in our 2nd floor bathroom that made it's way down to the basement. Rocky was able to come out quickly and assess the initial damage. Along with his team, Zeke, Isaac, Chris, they were able to demo everything and set up fans to help get everything dried out quickly. Rocky was great about texting arrival times, and Zeke did a great job communicating the damages through the demo process. Everyone was very professional and kind. I hope I don't have anymore damage in our home, but if we do, I know exactly who I am going to call.

Rocky was our representative and I must say, he was amazing!! He was always on time for every visit, he was communicative of exactly what we would respect, he connected us with great partners to help and I’ve been super impressed with his positivity and professionalism!!

If anyone has leaks or any issues, use PuroClean and ask for Rocky!! We have already recommended him to others in our community that had issues and they rave about him too!! Great company and great people!!

Our finished and fully furnished basement flooded. Our insurance company had PuroClean contact us to assist and I am so thankful for that as companies we were calling were booked solid. Even though they were too, Chris still came out same day to start the mitigation process. Rocky and Zeke came out next morning to remove the rest of our items in the basement, removed all the soaking wet carpet and pad and set up fans and a dehumidifier to dry out. Later came out to do flood cuts (remove some insulation and dry wall). They worked tirelessly and diligently to get the job done well and with care!
During the process they were so compassionate about our situation and happy to help any way they could. They were very knowledgeable and willing to take time despite how busy they were to answer all my questions. Rocky even found a leak we were unaware of coming from our bathroom sink water line. I cannot say enough good things about this team and the company overall!
Highly recommend them if you are ever in need!

This door is not a factory pre-fabrication - not even the door handles! All the details are perfect, he created our vision to perfection!  Not only did the door come out amazing the creation of the iron work above the office doors add beautify and customization.  It was certainly an easy and quick decision to order an additional back door, and matching door handles for the our office doors incorporating this custom handcrafted work of art adding beautify and value to our home.

We had Sergio create two doors for us and they are exactly what we asked for. Majestic Iron Works is very easy to work with and they make beautiful, well constructed doors. We have had them for a few months and have been very satisfied and recommend them.

Sergio did a fantastic job refinishing our iron doors and transom.  He was on time each day and left our entryway in immaculate condition.  He did all of this in 40 degree weather.  No stray paint anywhere.  He protected the inside entryway and the glass and door hardware.The doors look better than they did when they were new.  After the snow melts,  I'll post photos.  We highly recommend him.

We shared our ideas for a front porch rail and Sergio created and delivered exactly how we wanted it done.   We highly recommend using Majestic for your iron work.

A pin hole leak beneath,  and behind, our hot water heater was how we started the New Year!  We talked to Joe, and he put our minds at ease.  He kept us updated on everything along the way, and was very easy to contact with questions or concerns.  Cason, Alex and the "new guy", did a great job cleaning up the mess and getting all the mold gone - while keeping us laughing the whole time. Mike worked on putting our house back together, and finished up an excellent paint job just the other day.  Hopefully we won't need to see them ever again...lol.  But if we do, we know we can count on them all to take great care of us.

I cannot say enough good things about this company. We have had multiple sewer water floods in the last 5 years, that was all supposedly fixed 2 and 1/2 years ago 🙄. It has cost us an enormous amount of money and time. Alex was absolutely amazing!!! They took into account the fact that we had small children and couldn't be around feces covered drywall that was being cut (aerosolized). They made sure to do all of that first and we got back in our home MONTHS sooner than we did with any other restoration company. Alex was up front from the beginning, and saved as much money and time as they possibly could. Not only that, they were personable, and did an excellent job. The owner himself came out to meet with our insurance adjuster. For someone who's been through this more than one time, actually more than two if we're being honest, this was far and above the best experience we have had.

We cannot say enough positive things about this company. From the time of the mishap to the closing out of Perfect all the repairs, they were nothing short of phenomenal. The entire staff top to bottom is top-notch and answered any and all questions we had throughout the process as well as met all of our requests with the upmost professionalism. Cannot recommend them enough!!!

Neighbors side flooded & overflowed into our side of the duplex. The guys were fantastic in their explanations of the process and came back daily to check for dryness! Super nice folks, 10 outta 10 would highly recommend!

I’ve had water damage repair done by other companies in the past and have always been left feeling taken advantage of or desiring a quicker response time but never have I had the quick and prompt response and the ease of working with a company like PuroClean. Tiller Fence and Deck

I cannot say enough about the work Luke's team at Tiller Fence and Deck did on our deck .   It is very rare that you hire a company for a project and they EXCEED your expectations.    I highly recommend these guys and will definitely use them again.

Our covered front porch had wood rot in the foundation and decking. The end of the porch is built with a gazebo style roof. Mr. Tiller made sure the roof was supported so the whole structure did not need replacement. His crew worked quickly, competently, and professionally. They cleaned up everyday and we are thrilled with the results.

The wooden fence on one side of my property finally failed this Spring.  Luke Tiller came out, looked at the falling down fence, gave me options, let me decide, then had his crew remove the old crooked fence, and build a new one straight down the property line.  He gave the most reasonable bid for a high quality fence, then he DELIVERED - in a timely fashion.  I highly recommend Tiller Fence and Deck.

I went through Home Depot and got an estimate from Tiller Fence and Deck. They had the best price and everything went great! It was refreshing to work with a contractor that communicated well and delivered a good final project. I would recommend them to anyone.

I bought a beautiful midcentury modern styled garage door through Top Quality Doors and they installed it quickly and with precision.  A year later, I'm embarrassed to say, I accidently backed into it bending the bottom panels.  Others wanted to replace the whole door but Top Quality Doors came out with in 24hours, bent it back, and repaired the bracket the same day.  They saved me a lot of money and time.  Thank you!

Budget Blinds of the Ozarks

A project quoted for 5 weeks took 9 weeks, only after I called endlessly to get updates and accountability. The office staff is rarely present and uses an answering service, so when you call, the person answering literally has no information. When I finally did receive a call back, the staff was rude and not one bit helpful.

I eventually had to call another Budget Blinds store to get someone to help me with the lack of communication from this store. After multiple calls requesting a conversation with the owner, Karie, I did finally get a call and apology… however the service was all around awful. I’ve given my business to Budget Blinds in Kansas City for years and have never had problems as I’ve had with this franchise. I promise you’re better off going to Lowe’s.

I’m so thankful I didn’t put any money into this Westside business.  After I made an appointment that they didn’t show up for and no call to reschedule and an answering service that is 200 miles away. Then reading some dismal reviews that mostly get deleted I will shop on the other side of the lake probably saving money in the long run.

So disapointed in this company, I had an appointment for 3 and 1/2 weeks. I'm new to the area, have a new home and multiple window treatments needed including 4 sliding patio doors. On the day of my appointment, they called and cancelled because the lady coming for sick. I understand that, but when they called to reschedule they said it would be another month and 2 days!!!
I need my windows covered and cannot wait another month. I thought they might at least fit me in sooner since they cancelled me but I guess they are too busy and don't want our business.
I called their local competitor that my real estate agent recommended and they will make time for me next week!! In addition they are going to help me with some additional decorating and design!

Customer Service was amazing! Karie always helps our family with our blinds and curtain needs! I would recommend her everytime for all your window covering needs!

We purchased Blinds for our entire lake house from Budget Blinds of Laurie. The service and quality of the blinds is NOT up to standards. The people who own/run this don't have anyone to do the repairs and they obviously are not able to do the work themselves. The blinds cords on the blinds are all broken and will not raise.....IF YOU PLAN TO USE YOUR BLINDS DAILY DON'T BUY THESE BLINDS THEY ARE MADE FOR VERY VERY LOW USAGE.
The blinds are so bad that we are taking them down since they are all broken (won't open)and budget blinds will not get things serviced.
They even put a wrong colored blind up.  The blind was side by side with 3 other blinds, she told my wife and I it was the right color even when sent pics from the outside and inside....
In short I wanna save other the 50+ phone calls and all the broken promises. Blinds are an expensive investment and I made the wrong choice learn from me.

They are good at what they do. Prices are reasonable and they finished my glass replacement before expected.

This company has no warranty on rock chip repairs. I got a chip that was less than the size of a nickel fixed. 6 days later, I have a crack the width of my windshield. When I called to ask about any warranty, I was met with a very flat “sorry”. When I asked if there was a discount if I got a new windshield through then, I got offered $25 off of a $1000 windshield. Oh, and another equally for “sorry”. 10/10 would NOT recommend.

After inquiring with 7 window replacement companies in Greeley, then, meeting, walk through, measurements, Glass Doctor’s bid was not the highest or the lowest.  But when I took into consideration they are nationally recognized company and they answered every question I had in depth and to my full satisfaction, I chose to work with them.  They replaced one very large picture window and 6 other residential windows in my house.  The work was quick, efficient and excellent.  It as been a month since the work was complete and i cannot believe the change in cooling in my house via air conditioner, and noise reduction from the front street.  I cannot doubt that the winter’s gas bill will be far reduced in the years to come.  They did a superior job.

I accidentally locked myself out of the house on a snowy day with food cooking on the stove.  Neither one of my "spare keys" worked and I had to break the kitchen door window to get back inside.  I called Glass Doctor of Greeley and they sent someone to my house during a snow storm to get the window covered until they could send someone else to my house the next day to put in new glass.  Everyone I was in contact with was very quick to respond, professional, and did good quality work.  Thank you Glass Doctor!

I've never truly dealt with the company, but today, one of their drivers almost hit me while on the road because he wasn't paying attention at all, and then proceeded to threaten me. Told me to "pull over so he can kick my a$$". I had made a call to the company, but the lady on the other end, her attitude made it seem it was my fault for all of this happening. If they can't admit fault at all, then definitely a company will never go to, but also a company I won't recommend to anyone. Super unprofessional

Bought a mirror from a third party and needed professional installation.  It was easy to make an appointment.  Was told up front the cost and what to expect.  The installer was truly a professional.  He spent time to get the mirror positioned perfectly.  As he told me, he's a perfectionist and boy does it show with the finished product.  Would use this company again in a heartbeat.

I needed a quick windshield chip repair.  They got me in as fast as I could get there and did a great job quickly.

Is the only one that does RV glass repair in the area.  Gentleman was knowledgeable and efficient.  And fair value for a house call!
