We had a great experience using Ace Handyman Services.  They were responsive and the handyman was able to repair multiple needs around the house within a few hours.  I would highly recommend this service!

Steve is very professional and did a fantastic job on my bathroom window. We have had some negative experiences with contractors in the past so my husband and I are very particular on who we hire. We will definitely be using them again and telling our family & friends :) Keep up the honest & good work!

Excellent experience with the owner, secretary and handyman (Steve) who fixed our interior swing door promptly and with excellent craftsmanship and value. I will use them again for things that need fixing or updating at our house.

We had a lot of handyman work done here by Ace.  ALL of it was wonderful, but there was an issue hanging with the painting of the front door.  The response was quick and was wonderful.  I highly recommend Ace Handyman Service in Medina/Summit.  The woman in charge is beyond amazing !!!!!!

Glass Doctor of Cleveland

I've had Glass Doctor before which is why I called them for my issue.   The glass ended up being replaced successfully but it took since Sept before the got it installed.  End result was good so I can't complain too much!

In December 2022 I had company out to give estimate on replacement glass of patio door. Rep came, measured door and collected my 50% deposit ($400.00). In May or 2023, tech came out to install glass, only to inform me it was wrong size and would have to be re-ordered. After numerous calls to office, I was informed my order was being handled by the manager. I think his handling of the order was to take the money and run !!  ( December 20, 2023 ) I have called numerous times to speak with Matt Kelly, who is listed as owner, only to be put into a voice mail box. I contacted the BBB and filed complaint. Kelly didn't respond to the complaint. Small claims court would be next step but would cost another $110.00 to file in Elyria and courts wouldn't do anything even if I win judgement. Lein on property would be another $450.00. This cheat knows the system and that people will just "write it off" and move on.  Guess I will read more reviews next time. Only reason he got 1 star is site wouldn't post without it.

I contacted glass doctors in march 2023 for two shower doors. They sent someone out within 48 hours to measure and provide me an estimate. I placed an order  with 50% deposit immediately.  Initially, they were great at providing updates via email. It is now December , and I still am shower doorless. Each time I call, the the person answering replies " it looks like the manager is handling this, I can transfer you to him." Every time I am transferred there is no answer. I leave a message, no calls back. All I want is transparency. You essentially have an interest free loan from me right now. Please return my funds. FYI they are falsely advertising and ARE NOT a part of the BBB.

I paid $500 up front for a window they said would take 4 weeks to replace. It has now been over 3 months and they will not return my calls, and have stolen the money for the window. I will be filing a complaint with the better business bureau and taking them to small claims court.

I have 4 windows with cracks at my home.  On July 23, 2022, a year ago, I received a quote and paid 50% down.  I was told it would be about 3 weeks.  It’s now a year and I do not have my windows fixed.  They do not reply to emails.  I was given the owner’s voicemail and I left a message.  No reply.  I decided to report my issues to the Better Business Bureau.  They closed the case because the Glass Doctor will not respond.  It looks to me that they took my money and ran.  I do not recommend this business.  I guess my next step is small claims.  I’m 65 years old and this is my worst experience ever with a company.

However, Paula and her team swooped in, efficiently repaired our door, and had us back in business within a few hours. I had an old window that several glass companies I called declined to replace. Billy Culpepper was the technician that came on site. He was able to remove the broken pane and replace it without any damage to the frames or adjacent windows. It looks great and took him just about and hour. I will definitely call and ask for Billy anytime I need a window repaired.

We needed glass tops for new wood furniture to protect them. We received a reasonable cost for a quote, then a Member of their team came out to verify the measurements. Once all was confirmed, the glass tops arrived within two weeks. John and Carlos came out to install them. They cleaned the furniture, placed protective discs between the wood and glass and then cleaned the glass to a perfect shine! John, in particular, has the patience of a saint dealing with me. His service is top-notch. This is a rare find these days and much appreciated. Highly recommended!

Paula and Clinton are the best! Both were very friendly and professional! I needed the glass replaced on a gym door at a property Chamblee. I was able to send Paula pictures and I received a bid immediately. Clinton came out the next day to handle the repairs. I will use them in the future should I need glass repairs done on property.

Vincent Jackson was on time and very professional and did a beautiful job!!! I'm so so very happy.  If you want good quality and a good price go to them ASAP

Excellent customer service. Prompt in their response time. Everyone was very professional. All the contractors they arranged for me were excellent to work with and I enjoyed having them in my home during a stressful time.

This group of folks were fabulous. We were able to do the demolition and they came in only 2 days, dried and treated stuff and did a great job. Mitchell was our technician and he was intelligent, thorough in his explanation of the process, complete in his review and very timely. In a tough time this type of folks help in the difficulties of Hurricane Sally. Hooray! 5 star job.

We used them again for a water leak and once again they were awesome. Always on time, always do what they say, always return calls and even give us suggestions if they can't fix it. Just an awesome bunch (8/23/2023)

Excellent job replacing my roof and repairing a wall that was water damaged. Everyone from Courtney who handled the claim to the installers that did the work did an excellent job. Ahmed Andrade was very professional, he communicated everything from scheduling the repairs, to answering any questions I had, to following up on the job completion. I would definitely use Paul Davis Restoration again and I would highly recommend them!

Ana and Ed showed up on short notice after hours and an hour away from their business.  They were so kind to our renters and their customers and did a thorough inspection.  The Paul Davis team worked with our renter’s timeline I. Order to not interrupt business any more than absolutely necessary.  The cleaning team worked tirelessly on a Saturday afternoon to thoroughly clean the building so that our renter would not have to close and lose business.  Jared also did a wonderful job pressure washing the front of our building to clean it while also helping us to locate any leaks that we were not aware of.  The entire team working the many stages of our needs were beyond wonderful!  We would recommend Paul Davis Emergency Services if Baldwin County and Ed Wade Services or all of our friends and business contacts.  Thank you to all who worked so hard for us!

This crew came to Florida from Alabama to help with cleanup from Hurricane Ian. They were very professional and competent giving me great comfort. They were neat, thorough and hard working. They were friendly and polite and a pleasure to deal with. I recommend them without reservation!

Rodney, Mike, and the team are absolutely fantastic. They have always delivered phenomenal customer service. I have had windshields replaced on my personal vehicles and our business also uses them for repairs. They’re hands down the best!

These guys went above and beyond! Came to me for a no hassle fix. Low cost  and kept me from having to replace my windshield. Would absolutely recommend them to all my friends and family.

Called spoke to a lady who made my appointment, she however did not apparently write it down because she stated she stated she had record of my call but no appointment, so took off work for nothing and she stated "you can break rescheduled for Monday at 4, I asked if I needed to call back to confirm the appointment as iam a disabled veteran who has to schedule my medical treatments accordingly, and the lady stated "I'll tell you what go somewhere else sweetheart" thank you for treating your US Veterans and fellow residents like this.

Post remodeling clean up.  They cleaned my ceiling,  walls, air ducts, carpets, everything that had been covered in dust and debris.  Very pleased with the knowledge and expertise they used as I have custom faux painting on walls which requires extra care, and window coverings, which required extra time as well.

EntryPoint Doors and Windows

Great experience with EntryPoint Doors & Windows! We found them through our local Home Depot’s recommendation after getting a quote from another iron door company via a zoom call done by a high pressure salesman, so we were not convinced especially when that company gave us a quote that was out of sight and not in our budget!  EntryPoint sent a knowledgable and personable Design Consultant  (Holly Parrish) from their Atlanta office to our home near Birmingham, AL to present what they could do for us in person and sold us almost immediately after we went over everything; the process, the options in styles, finishes, materials, fixtures, the guaranteed quality, and the timing of manufacture and installation. Someone came out after we agreed to purchase from EntryPoint to take exact measurements for the design and install. We were then assigned an Iron Door Project Manager (Becky Randall) who did a CAD drawing with our choices so we could visualize our custom look just for the style of our English Tudor home.   Both Holly and Becky were always available, responsive and patient with any questions or concerns that we had as we worked together to accomplish our goal.  We could not be more pleased with our new iron door thus far. It was purchased to replace a wooden mahogany door that we always loved,  but the constant maintenance due to weathering on it was laborious and expensive. Having a solid and more weatherproof door giving us more privacy that is absolutely gorgeous and enhances the look the front of our home is invaluable and most appreciated!  The 4-month wait to get the door perfect to our specs was worth it and the installation crew was professional and efficient in removing old door and casing and replacing with our new masterpiece!! I couldn't be happier with our experience.  Our sales rep, Shawn Latimer, was more of a consultant than a sales guy.  I loved his laid back approach, he never tried to push us in any direction.
Shawn provided patient guidance as he walked my wife and me through the complicated process of purchasing 24 windows and 3 doors.  And the installation went just as smooth with Edwin and his crew.  It was a 2 day installation that finished on time, without any issues, despite the rainy weather.  And even with the wet weather,  Edwin and his crew left the house spotless.  And last but not least, I got my first power bill since the new windows and my monthly bill went down from $324 to $212!

Very happy with Entry point Doors and Windows. I did a thorough research before I decided to go with this contractor. And it turns out that I made the right decision. I was hoping to get the doors installed around Christmas this year. But the doors were ready 2 months earlier. The technician Johnny did a fantastic job. He is quite skillful and knows exactly what he is doing.  Our new doors look absolutely beautiful and improves the curbside view so much. And most importantly, there is no cold air coming in from the door gaps anymore. Very happy!

Our door turned out looking great, which is the only reason I did not give this company only 1 star,  but the process with EntryPoint was extremely frustrating. We waited over 9 months for our door to be installed due to poor measuring / manufacturing and poor communication (they did provide a discount for our first mishap). The did not lay down anything to cover our floors/furniture during the install process and left a huge mess. I recommend finding a different company who can likely produce the same door but with much better business practices / processes in place.

Chem-Dry On The Shore

My sisters and I were left to close up our Mother’s house after she died . She had an oriental rug that had been used and not cleaned for many years .I contacted ChemDry on the Shore for advice and an evaluation of whether it could be saved .
Given that I am from out of town , they went out of their way to accommodate my schedule. They went above and beyond in their customer service . The rug was cleaned and it looks great . I had them come clean my couch and WOW! They did an amazing job, got all the stains out, it smells so fresh and clean, and it was at a great price! They also sent me a handwritten thank you letter for using their company. 10/10! Highly recommend!!!!!!

My experience with Chem Dry was top notch from the very beginning. The staff was so kind and professional. The quality of work was great and I felt like the price was well worth how everything turned out. We will definitely use them again in the future!

The crew that came out was very professional and did a good job. I would recommend them to anyone. Although I did find a few minor streaks and called the company and they are sending someone to look at the streaks. I am well please with the work.

We had our entire house with a tile floor cleaned with Chem-Dry.  There were some very stubborn dried areas of paint and dry wall dust.  This team of professionals were amazing and very thorough.  I can't say enough about what a great job they did and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Chem-Dry on The Shore!

America's Home Place - Gainesville, GA

We have been so happy with AHP in Gainesville! They have been so helpful in all stages of the process so far. We are about 4 month in, and can honestly say that we know we made the right choice with AHP. Of course things have happened, but our project manager, Kevin, has been very responsive and has taken care of everything. We have been impressed with the quality of work. We are looking forward to moving into our forever home.

I cannot recommend AHP in Gainesville enough. Greg helped us take a design and make it our own. He was always patient and helpful throughout the process. Koty and his team made that design come to life. He was professional and available all throughout the build. My husband and I met with many, many builders before choosing AHP and are very glad we chose them. Everyone we know who’s built a home is full of horror stories and we were nervous going into this process. But every step was so easy, fun, and stress free. Any time a minor hiccup arose (nothing crazy, just general things that come with building a house), our project manager immediately made us aware, gave us his plan to fix it, and fixed it! Communication was amazing throughout the whole process with updates, timelines, and transparency of every step. We were able to sit back and watch our first home come to life. There were zero hidden/surprise expenses either. The build ended up costing slightly less than expected and WE PAID LESS than the original amount we signed for. Paul Davis Restoration of NE Georgia

Ross was great at communicating, responding immediately to every text and question. And he accelerated the timetable to complete the job quickly after the insurance adjuster dragged feet on submitting final approval. His crew did great work, even redoing the subfloor after they weren't happy with the first effort to patch it. Would definitely call again when we have a project to get done.

The response and bias for action is as exception after my water damage at home. Customer service and professionalism were exceptional as well. The craftsmanship involved in the repair was also top notch.

The initial restoration crew at the Lanier Isles location was great. The clean up crew was excellent and thorough. Bayley, Abraham and Jacob did what they said they would do and were very professional. Highly recommend!

Paul Davis Restorations was the third proposal I received to dry out and treat for mold after Hurricane Ian rained in our condo.  Their quote was detailed and they adjusted the final invoice for services quoted but not needed.  I'd use them again.

Would not recommend. Wood floors were warped and had to be dried out and fixed/repaired. They explained that it would take awhile to dry out the floors. We were not in a hurry, we just wanted it done right. I believe they rushed the process. When the work was first done the floors looked great for about 2 months. Once it got cooler and we turned the heat on the floors started to warp and separate. They came back out multiple times with different excuses. Eventually they repaired the floors again and even brought in new wood to replace some of the boards. Not sure that the warped boards were replaced. Filler was placed and it is noticeable. The boards have once again separated. If you want your floors to look good for longer than a few months look elsewhere.
