Rapid Glass

I had some sticker shock at the cost of a 13X26 pane of glass. I'm told that they can't use regular glass, it has to be tempored and once measured has to be ordered and shipped. That being said, the glass was removed and replaced on a 57 year old door with undetectable marks on the trim that was taken off to access the panel. It was done quickly, professionally, ahead of projected schedule and left clean and that was important to me as my dog uses that door and I often walk barefoot there as well. I would recommend this company.

Had three windows, all different sizes / styles that had the foggy, broken seals. We had Rapid Glass come to our home and fix them. They did a great job, the replacement glass and seal are noticeably better then the original they replaced and while the cost seems a bit high, it is a third of the cost of replacing the entire window so all good. We will call them first if we ever need any future window repairs!!

Holy hell, a $200 labor bill on a 30-minute fix. I have never in all my years of working with window replacement companies been surprised (shocked) with such an EXPENSIVE bill. The most I have ever paid for a similar repair is $104.32 and that included the materials.

My husband and I have installed many windows but never a window pane. The concepts are very similar. We custom ordered a window pane to install and it came quickly compared to waiting for a replacement window which is taking several months in 2022. Unfortunately, we were never told by any one that one side should be facing the inside and one side should be facing the outside. The sticker that indicates this is smaller than my thumb. We had installed the whole pane and then noticed the tiny sticker, realizing it was put in with the wrong side facing out. By the time we realize it the whole thing is already in and installed. Incredibly frustrating, we took off the trim, silicone, etc. Trying to flip it to be correct and ended up breaking the panel. That's hundreds down the drain, a simple heads up from one of the many employees I spoke to throughout the process would have saved us this fatal mistake. The sticker is stupid small enough so that we didn't notice it....

The stationery panel of my patio door had fogged up.   Replacing the entire door would have been very expensive.   A representative  from Rapid Glass came to my house, measured the glass panel to be replaced and gave me a date for the replacement.  The installers showed up on the date promised and installed the new glass.  They did an outstanding job and did it quickly at a fraction of what a new door would have cost.

Auto Glass Professionals

This is place is great, they are are fast and professional. I had my windshield replaced less than 48 hours after I reached out to them. They were great about working with my insurance. Even the chairs in the waiting area were comfortable.

Had issues with Safelite and immediately was taken care of by AGP. They assisted with transferring my insurance claim to a new company and had an appointment that was convenient and within a 48 hour period. Will never recommend anyone else for glass replacement. Thank you!!

The staff was personable yet professional.  Their quality was excellent, I have worked in the field, and their price was LITERALLY HALF that of another local shop. Not convinced yet? I made an appointment at another shop nearby and waited for over a month for a call to install. I called Jawaski Glass and within 24hrs I was seeing clearly again. Thanks.

I am from out of town , called about a rock chip from that morning to see if they could fit me in. They were able to and I can BARELY see the chip now AND they were less expensive than another local shop! Great service all around!

Midas

Had a smooth and pleasant experience at Midas for my wheel alignment and tire rotation. Mike was very helpful and informative. Will be returning for any auto service needs.

This was my 1st visit to this shop, I was referred by a family member who had thier vehicle serviced here in the past and was very pleased. I initially met Nick, Mike and Chuck who were very kind, knowledgeable and honest about everything. In particular, I want to highlight David, who assisted me when I picked up my vehicle. I was very stressed about the condition of my vehicle and didn't want to be stranded again especially at night after work. He was so kind and very understanding about everything. He reassured me that my car passed inspections and it was safe to drive. Furthermore, there was never any mentioning of additional servicing on my vehicle that was needed, which is a common practice these days but not at Midas! I really appreciate his honesty, integrity and professionalism!  He gave me peace of mind for sure! I would highly recommend this location anytime! Thank you!!

Scheduled appointment ahead of time, worked out great! Very nice and respectful, had them do an oil change and take a look at the breaks because they were squeaking.

Explained why I was going through oil so fast, and why my breaks may occasionally squeak but they're fine and don't need replacing.

10/10 would bring car again, just don't walk in on Saturday morning without an appointment and expect a for sure spot!

Absolutely terrible experience.
I needed my shocks replaced.  I took time off work, and set an appointment at 8am.  When I set the appointment, I asked if they could order the parts in advance so I wouldn't have to wait as long, because I needed the repairs done within two hours.  They said, "sure come in the next few days and we can do that in store." I came in a few days ago to order the parts, they acted surprised and shocked,  like I was asking them to massage my feet.  They eventually said, "sure we'll order the parts."

They spent TWO hours this morning running a diagnostic on my car, and then they came out to me and told me they had just ordered the parts.  I sat in their lobby for TWO HOURS while they ran a completely unnecessary, multi point inspection, and they didn't put shocks on my car.  I left without getting any repairs.

Then to cap of their clown show, when I was leaving they had left another person's car keys in the cupholders of my car.

The level of incompetence it takes to do something like is ASTOUNDING.  This place deserves to go under.

tldr; Non mechanically inclined customers beware, they will try to take you for a ride and sell you on things you don’t need.

Came in for wheel alignment after strut replacement. Shop took only a short time telling me that the OEM camber bolts were inadequate to adjust wheel camber and that I would need to spend $450 on their camber bolts along with labor to install them.

I refused this replacement as the alignment was successfully completed with the same OEM camber bolts at a previous shop.

The manager made me agree to this message: Customer understands without replacing cambolts alignment will not be correct and will cause tire wear.
Which I did. As the alignment was out of spec already as the struts were replaced recently. Thus the original reason I came in for an alignment.

After another 20 minutes of work after refusing replacement the shop magically managed to correct the alignment issue and the rack was reading in spec on all 4 wheels…

The technician reported that after “cranking on it” for a bit afterwards it was pulled into spec despite previously stating it could not be done with the current OEM camber bolts.

Next he stated the vehicle “sits weird when you sit in it” despite being unable to determine this with any measurements due to the fact that the vehicle was 4 feet in the air on an alignment rack.

I will likely need to go to another shop as I have no confidence that the work was performed  correctly.

Big O Tires

Awesome customer service. Was able to work my car in a timely manner, last minute. Friendly staff. No pressure for services I didn't need.

The gentlemen at Big O did a wonderful job installing my new tires. They walked me through what another mechanic made seem like very large issues. They physically took me under my car and showed me the different parts of my car what the other mechanic was referring to, and advised that I would still be good to go for a while, but to keep an eye on it for the future. They didn't try and sell me anything unnecessary and treated me like I was one of their mothers walking into the shop. Highly recommend for great service! I even got a little taken off of the price of my set of tires. Score!

The staff at the Blaine-University location are always very welcoming and friendly along with making sure they’re customers (which includes myself obviously) are taken care of. They are always very upfront and honest about any issues that are found with my car. This is refreshing since I’ve had bad experiences with getting work done that may not have been necessary with other shops trying to make a quick buck!

About 6 months ago I had a not so good experience at the Blaine store.  Today, February 1st, I needed a tire in an emergency and the crew at big o tires of Blaine came through with flying colors. Heather was fantastic, very friendly and an amazing employee. She explained everything from top to bottom. I cannot say enough great things about my awesome recent experience except that I will go no where else for tires or vehicle service. Thank you Heather you have gained a customer. Awesome job and I really appreciate the the job well done.

Took my car to Blaine Big O Tires for new pads and to have my rotors checked and replaced if need be. They did the pads super fast, and told me my rotors we're fine, so the fact they didn't try to sell me parts I thought I needed and they assured me I didn't is huge. They also went beyond my reason for being there and found a wheel bearing that was loose, and called me to let me know. Great service, staff is easy to talk to and supports veterans! I'll be using this tire shop from now on. Thank you!

I was traveling out from out of town and had an issue with my exhaust. I walked in and was helped right away! The shop was clean, in a safe neighborhood, the staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and had my car fixed in a little over an hour! The best part is, THEY SAVED ME $1700.00! Great customer service. I was in for an Uber inspection and I was helped with great service and he explained to me the difference in tires and gave me a quote a decent set and I even got a mug for applying for their credit card. All around great time spent. I’ll be back to get my tires installed Tuesday. See ya then.

Maplewood Midas on County Road was amazing 👏.  I scheduled an appointment through there online website and the site said they would call in thirty minutes to confirm. The manager called less then to confirm and said he can get me in sooner. My heat had gone out in my G6. He told me when I got there what it would cost to run inspection and that he would call once he found out the problem but would do any work until I approved of it. Within in a couple of hours a get pictures and a detailed report of what's going on. I like how simple they made everything and they were fast. I got my car back next day. They have a great Team and they have my business now!

I've been going to Midas for over 25 yrs. Dave, Vicki, and Ryan are the best. They are very trustworthy and only repair what needs to be fixed.

Last time I went to this Midas I spent over a grand on my front end. A day later I had to go to yet another midas and pay them another grand to replace the belt. So much for that 40 point check or whatever they call it. Didnt notice the belt was about to snap? After 46 years in business and they couldnt catch that? Oh well, I let it go. Thankful I didn't jack up the entire engine. A year later I go back to the Clinton Midas and they charged me $40 bucks to do what Autozone does for free. I even offered to buy a $50 gift card so that I might walk away with something while still paying them for the 5 minutes it took to hook my car up to an error reader but nope. Complete rip off. When I spoke to the owner he was completely rude and unhelpful. Apparently they don't want to work on old cars. And that little survey link the owner shared below....Dave already told me he didn't care if I complained because he's been there for 46 years. So nice of him. Great representation for Midas.

Massive waste of my time. Couldn't talk to a mechanic about the issue until they looked at it. Spent over two hours waiting just for them to tell me the exact thing I was going to tell them, and then they gave me as quote for over 1000$.

RNR Tire Express

Everything was good at first getting the rims and payments are very affordable. Then I went to get an alignment and now my truck won’t go no where. My vehicle was running perfectly fine before I took it in for an alignment. The technicians are not certified and they don’t even do a full alignment just toe in and toe out. I am not happy. Technicians are people off the street with little to no experience.They deny doing anything wrong so here I am stuck paying for a set of rims and tires on a truck I can’t even drive anymore.

They were so nice!  I just needed my air checked on one of my outer duals on my truck and they checked and filled them all.  Not an easy task!  They wouldn't take payment... I will be back when I need to purchase something they sell.  Very nice people!!!

So my brother had a blowout on us vehicle and completely destroyed his ram him company was able to help him same day. They were able to replace all of his friends and all is tired. Already knew they were able to set up a payment plan and it was so fantastic especially when you’re tight on money my brother only had to pay seven dollars of the day it happened and then they also follow this out to the location of the blowout and we were able to see were able to help us change the tire. Super amazing. Highly recommend this company. Very very good.
