Big O Tires

Edit: Appears the experience you have depends on whom is working. I had a front tire leak. They determined it was a cracked rim, but in the process, they destroyed my TPM. On the phone, they agreed to sell me a TPM that I would hand carry to the rim welding shop. When I arrived, I was told they don't do over the counter sales.

Previously: Great experience. I have a high-performance car that finding all season tires is difficult. Mark did a great job finding tires that were perfect and in stock at the warehouse. The crew was very careful with my low car (using a jack, not the lift) and with my wheels (they were unscathed).

Realized I had a flat on my X3 and needed to get the tire replaced because it was a run flat. Called Brennan and he was able to get the tires available within 24hrs. Spent a little under 2 hours and was drivable again. They offer fair pricing and are competitive with other tire shops in the area.

New update: Had to come back sooner than expected due to a flat. Thankfully, I purchased the warranty and they patched my tire for free! Will always come back here as long as I'm in the area! Great service and quality work.

Absolutely perfect. Now I have two trusted locations that I believe are honest. Danny saved my arse that day, I was minutes away from missing my Rx for mental illness RyDanny. You actually cared, if I miss those particular meds, might as well drive to nearest police station to protect me, from me.. I'm full blown viral on Google w 15 million views. My reviews always go to most relevant. They will say I did it because we know of each other. Nope, you got me back on the road in time. My pharmacy closes at 3pm. Thank you for the exceptional customer service. Not because I know and like you, because you literally got me out the door so quickly it saved me. Despite the way too long of time wasted by the tow gal, her first week and the blow out was in a tow drivers hell.

My Big-O Legacy tires only had 25k miles on them vs the 75k mileage warranty. I had to visit the shop twice and argue with them to honor the warranty. They tried to talk me into "Buy 2 get 2 free" which is only 50%--according to their warranty I should be getting 66% off. But ultimately they did the right thing, and had my tires ready by the end of the week. Total it took 3 visits and some back-and-forth, but ultimately I am happy. The old ones that only lasted 25k were made by Cooper, so I'm hoping the new ones made by Toyo last closer to 75k. Keep your paperwork!

My car broke down near this big O tire in Olathe around a 119th and black Bob. Everybody in there was super friendly. The prices were more than fair. I strongly recommend them!

We had a service person to our home last week to give us a quote to repair/replace our bedroom blind.  He parked his van in our driveway.  After he left, we found two (2) large oil spots on the driveway.  When we contacted Steve (owner) to complain, he said that he talked to his driver and that his driver told him that he did not park in our driveway. From that, Steve assumed that we must have lied to him about what we knew to be true. With the help of a neighbor's video camera we sent Steve a copy of webcam confirming that the van parked in our driveway for over 1/2 hour.  After seeing the video, Steve apologized, however, the damage was already done.

I contacted Affordable Blinds & Shutters about window coverings for a new home.  We were very pleased with the process from initial contact and first reviewing online the different products available to assist with selecting blinds to meet our needs.  Meeting with a very knowledgeable design-sales-install representative Jenny, she provided awesome expertise on options and we quickly narrowed our selection down to move forward with the installation date. The installer, Greg, arrived with all shades ordered.  He was friendly, professional and knowledgeable.  Completed the installation throughout the house quickly, answered questions and did a great job.  There were a few issues identified that required reorder, but these were taken care of within a few weeks and the job was then completed satisfactorily by Greg and Rick. We love the new shades on our windows. They are very versatile, provide a clean look and are a quality product. Would definitely recommend and use ABS service in the future.

I love affordable blinds and shutters. They have delivered and installed some beautiful honeycomb shades in our house! I loved them so much I'm doing our bedroom also! They are very promt and affordable. The blinds actually came in a few weeks early. I would highly recommend this company to anyone!

Shell

These cheap jerks charge $0.50 to use your card inside. Who  carriers cash nowadays! Seriously a stupid 16oz soda should not cost $3.85. The price to start with is ridiculous but then charging me to pay! No other station does this. I will never return to this cheap store with their rude employees and low maintenance store.

Pump wouldn’t recognize my company gas card and it’s like an over priced dollar store inside $15 for a can of Pringles and 12 pack of soda. I wouldn’t make that mistake again

Brand new gas station, but the normally locked bathroom is "broken"? Yeah right. Just like several other places around town with perpetually "broken" restrooms. Don't support GARBAGE service.

Also featuring the slowest gas pumps that force you to watch ads. This is one of the worst types of gas stations you can stop at.

Becareful with your purchase.  They like to over charge.  For example  the Arizona drinks are .99 they would will charge  a 1.29 plus tax and if you use a card the will charge you and  addiontional  .50 I can nor wait till the Atorney General consumer protection unit gets called in for this.

This is a good gas station, good service, but DON'T buy roses there. I got one for almost 6$ and it fell apart by the time I got home less than a mile away.

European Wax Center

First time in! I had Maggie for my visit and she was fantastic! She made me feel very comfortable and made my experience wonderful. She was very thorough and I left feeling so much confidence i haven't felt in years! I'll definitely be coming back!

A few months ago I started going to European for my wax needs. By luck of the draw, I was assigned to Maggie. She has been great. She’s truly very professional and lucky for me she’s a perfectionist. European also carries many products and offers a variety of services. I can’t imagine having a better experience anywhere else. I highly recommend them.

Westlake Ace Hardware

They where as I was told going to help me with my mothers funeral with a loan or a fund called the " Hope Loan or Fund " and now I am stuck with a funeral bill I can't pay and the funeral home won't put a headstone on my moms grave. My mother worked for Westlake in 1988, 1989 and 1990.

It would be great if this location clearly indicated in Google Search that it is an office, not a store. It popped up as the nearest Westlake and it was a wasted trip.

As an employee of the Livermore store, terrible management, they tend to favor other employees, one assistant manager was always harassing the cashiers, watching us like a hawk, telling us to stop standing around doing nothing, or our hours will be cut... I don't know about anyone else, but he made me feel very uncomfortable. He was never nice, customers would call or you would ask him a question, and 90% of the time he would yell at you and not want to deal with it... I'm sorry but that's no way to make your employees feel, or the customers.  Do not know why he is still there.

Westlake is the best there is in hardware retailing today. True professionals and excellent stores. More than 120+ locals coast to coast. Find one near you.

Shear Madness Haircuts For Kids

This place is amazing! Cut my sons hair exactly as I asked and were super patient and quick. They even offer a “first haircut” special where they cut a lock of hair and print before and after pictures for you! Will be coming back!

When we first walked in, they gave us a friendly greeting and checked us in. There is a little toy store so we could entertain my nephew while we waited, which was useful! The sweet lady that gave him his FIRST haircut was fast and knew all the tricks to get him to sit still! Overall, we had a great time! I definitely recommend Shear Madness!

An outstanding staff. They’ve done a great job each time we’ve taken our kids.

We usually go in with pictures of the style of cut that we want and they rock it.

My only complaint is the over priced toys up front. I get it, they’re making money, but you have to go through a room full of toys to get your haircut.

Definitely a good experience and a great staff though.

Harbor Freight Tools

Friendliest people you could ever meet help you with tools have knowledge on tools and know how to keep inventory have pretty much anything a man or woman can want when it comes to tools and if they don't have it they can get it

Love this place, good products for a good price, friendly and knowledgeable staff, very nice shopping experience.

Went in for 9 mil nitrile gloves and found all of the pre-black Friday deals so picked up a few extras while I was there!

There's always something fun to buy that I didn't know I needed. Like a candy store for grown-ups. Update* If like me you buy a lot of tools, spend the $29 & join the Inside Track Club, I've saved 5 times my annual membership fee in just 6 months .

Got a finishing nail gun... first one broke after 2 panels where hung...

Exchanged it for a new one moments ago and it won't even work out of the box....

So done with that place. I'll happily spend double the money on a tool that works and not have to drive to harbor freight more than once to keep exchanging tools till I get one that works!!! In fact I probably spend as much on harbor freight tools through wear and tare on the car through exchanges let alone the hour each trip doing the damned exchange!!!!

Budget Blinds of Prairie Village and Olathe

Jennifer is very friendly and so fair to her customers. I had her out a couple of years ago and was so pleased so had her out 12-13-23 to ask her about some things and she was so very helpful 😊

This budget blinds location deserves 10 stars.  We used Budget Blinds to do our windows and outdoor patio when we moved into our house. Jenn was fantastic to work with and is excellent at communication. We were also pleasantly surprised with the quality of our shades. I prefer the Roman blinds we ordered through Budget Blinds over the custom ones we had made through our interior designer. After a year, one of our Roman shades started fraying; I contacted Jenn and she immediately took care of it. The excellent customer service and a company that is willing to back up their products has my loyalty. We will definitely use them again for any of our window treatment needs!

If you need blinds, shades or drapes, look no further.  We reached out to Budget Blinds of PV and Olathe based upon the positive reviews we had read.  Jennifer came out and measured our windows, made recommendations, and coverings were installed shortly thereafter. We had a couple of glitches after the installation, and they were resolved immediately at no extra cost. This company and owner are a rare bread; they stand by their work and value their reputation. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.

I am thrilled with our new window treatments! We recently purchased a new home and were at a loss with how to cover so many large windows (something we love but also needed some privacy from neighbors). Jennifer was friendly, helpful and honest. I truly appreciated her guidance and patience as I explored all of the possibilities. Throughout the process, Jennifer or Trudy quickly answered all questions and talked through different options. AT&T Store

Went into the store yesterday to discuss upgrading my phone and the options I had. I had already went to a different location and looked online, so I thought I knew what I could do, but I was hoping they had the phone I wanted in stock. Noah, the employee that assisted me was very helpful, even though I didn't think so at the time. He was telling me that what I had been told wasn't the case but that we could see what could be done. I was not happy so I told him that I was going to go somewhere else after he said that he was sure that he was correct on these issues. It turns out that Noah was 100% correct and the others were not. I have always had luck @ this Singing Hills location and after yesterday will continue to go due to their knowledge.

you can really tell that the employees that work at this store enjoy their jobs. they are friendly and knowledgeable. Noah was absolutely fantastic at helping me out and was extremely quick!

Noah was amazing help fixing the problem I had from the Hamilton location where the District Manager was no Manager at all or professional. He did what should have been done there. Thanks Noah for taking care of that horrible horrible experience I endured last night and making it right today.

Midas

I was highly satisfied with the service provided. I went for an oil change and of course they complete a new quick check to see if there is anything that needs to be done. Two filters were recommended for replacement. The service manager was straight forward and told me that Midas would charge me quite a bit for the parts and then of course labor. He said that I would pay less going to an auto parts store and purchasing the filters there. I appreciate when auto repair techs are honest with me especially since I’m a female. Too often male auto repair techs will “find” all types of things wrong and tell you services should be done right away when that isn’t necessarily the case because you’re a female. That irritates me so I was very happy with the honesty and customer service I received at Midas. I will definitely go back.

I had a wonderful experience with Midas. Danny and Alison explained all the options to me and helped me feel supported in my decision. I appreciate the help and care from the whole team.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about this Midas location! I originally had an appointment for brakes bc I thought I needed them. Turns out I had a completely different issue that I was unaware of. The mechanic, Cooper, I believe his name is - younger guy was sooo helpful! He was the one who fixed my car. He actually took me into the shop and showed me my entire car from a mechanic’s POV and explained everything so thoroughly. He answered my original questions I had regarding my vehicle and the new questions I had about the issue I was unaware. Not to mention what he had to fix demanded a lot of labor and time and he managed to get it done in such a timely manner. Throughout this whole process, Danny the manager I believe was so helpful on the finance side. He explained their credit card program, he broke down an entire quote on everything my car needed, and answered all my questions and didn’t pressure me at all. They’re all so friendly, personable, and authentic here and that is appreciated from a customer pov! I will be coming here for all my car concerns now!

Excellent car care by Jake. Courteous service with easy to understand explanations of the service needed or required. This is my new go-to auto repair shop, even though it is over a half hour drive into the next state! Thanks Jake.
