Tim Hare and his team did an AMAZING job of replacing four tires on our Subaru Ascent.  Tim did an excellent job the day before of going over the different tire options and pricing over the phone and an order was placed.  The tires came in today and I was in and out of the shop in 2 hours.  He also handled the claim for us with our extended warranty company.  I would HIGHLY recommend this Midas shop for all of your automotive needs.

The people at the Midas Olathe location are professional, reliable, and honest. The price they charge is reasonable. I have been taking my two vehicles there for years for repairs. They quickly diagnose any problems and make thorough repairs. Also, they do not try to sell me anything I don't need, which is what an automobile dealership does.

I cannot say enough great things about the Midas in Olathe, Kansas.
They are honest, patient, and ALWAYS do an incredible job with all of my cars needs.
I tried a few other places in my area over the years that "allegedly" specialize in different car maintenance needs ( such as tires, air condioning, etc...) and afterwards ended up back at Midas to fix the issues. They are thorough and have never tried to push me into anything over what the actual problem is.
I highly recommend them and suggest that you save yourself alot of time and hassle and just go straight to Midas. They are the only group of guys I trust my car with. If your vehicle can be fixed they will get it done fairly and honestly.

Joe and his team are awesome! They even gave me a ride home after I dropped off my car! It is a wonderful feeling to have a service shop that you can trust!

First, I asked a trusted friend who she takes her car to when it needs work and such. She  said she would take her car anywhere else but to Midas  as they treat their customers like family. Done! I took my car to Midas, asked for Tim and was happy I did. of course the sound I heard wasn’t there when Tim was listening for it but Tim didn’t let me leave until he put oil in for me. I had let it run lower than usual. And at no cost. He was so patient and professional. I’ll definitely be taking my car back!

Big O Tires

Jacob was so great to work with! I am not local and had a blow out on the highway. He assessed the situation when the tow truck brought my car in. He contacted the tire company that sold me the tires to see if I could get the roadside assistance. He was very kind friendly and made sure my car was up and running in a short time.. I would definitely travel for 45 minutes away to use him again! Great experience with him, and Big O Tire. I would definitely use them again.

Great experience.
My day started with a blown tire on the freeway at the beginning of a 9 hour drive. I called Big O Tires to see if they could help me out with my situation. They got me a name and number for a tow truck service and quickly got me to there shop. Where they assessed the damage and gave me my options. They were reasonably priced tires so I bought all four and got my brakes replaced. Very fast, and friendly. I was back on the road in just a couple hours.
What a great experience

I had two new tires installed on my airstream trailer, not an easy job.  The installer had to move his gear outside to install them.  He torqued the wheels to specifications and then helped me put the spare back up in its cage, again not an easy process.  He recommended and replaced the valve stems with high pressure stems, something I would have not thought of.  Just excellent service all around.

Had appointment for 4 new tires at 10 am and even being short staffed they had my vehicle in and tires coming off at 10. From the time I walked in the door till when I left, everyone was great help and friendly! Was out the door little after 11 and that included getting alignment done. The technician that replaced my tires moved quickly and walked around my vehicle to make sure everything was just right. When the so much not favorite part came (paying the bill, lol), everything was explained well to me and honestly the prices were great! They have definitely earned all my business from now on! Thank you for the great experience and getting my vehicle in and out in a timely manner!

I was told by the dealership that I needed to replace all air filters each costing $200 on my truck that I never drive, Big O Tires said the filters were fine, and should last for a while longer.

Thermal King Windows

Very happy with Thermal King and our new James Hardie board siding. Davis was great to work with. The subcontractor did fantastic work. Quick, professional, skilled, hard workers, and cleaned up well after themselves. Highly recommend. The siding looks wonderful and we have had so many compliments. Thanks Thermal King!

Thermal King replaced all 11 of my windows and my patio door. Eddie gave a great product demonstration, much better than the other 3 companies I got bids from. I am very happy with everything and the installers did a great job. The whole house seems brighter. The only drawback I experienced was the time to start the installation. I was told 10-12 weeks, but it ended up being 16 weeks, which they said was due to a back log at the warehouse. I would recommend them to others to at least give them a chance if you are considering replacing windows.

UPDATE. They replaced the worst of the leaking bowed windows as promised. These seem to be good. When the winter winds hit we will know for sure. If they are fixed, the rest will be replaced with this fix.

Have had them out several times. They have stuffed enough fuzzy caterpillars in some windows are impossible to open. Wind blows through between their window and their frame. Their screens turn to powder after a year. They came out today. Said they are going to replace the windows that were bowed.

Thermal King Windows has amazing service, employees and finished products! From our salesperson Andrew who was beyond through, transparent & friendly to the hardworking and super efficient crew who assembled our beautiful new 8 windows and Steve who made a house visit to adjust our screens the very next day. They are great about communication, pricing was definitely worth it and the quality is so great! Would highly recommend them.

Thermal King did a fantastic job with removing our bay window & putting in a custom picture window. They also did a new large custom slider for our patio remodel which is gorgeous. There was a delay due to custom factory pieces but, they kept in communication throughout & got it done perfectly! There team is also fantastic & knowledgeable!
We are super happy with the end results & would definitely recommend them to family & friends!

Device Pros - We fix iPhone, iPad & Android Repair

This place is the real deal. Don't even bother looking anywhere else. I've had a cracked screen replaced on a Galaxy, (best price in town with quickest turnaround) and also bought a used iPhone for international travel. Both 100% fantastic experiences.

The owner and I chatted for a bit too. Great guy! He loves what he does, and it shows through his work and business ethics. Never once felt rushed, pressured, or uncomfortable in the least bit.

Absolutely unreal job by these guys. First of all, I called for a quote on a back replacement for my iPhone 14 Pro Max and Derek (sorry if I didn’t spell your name right!) gave me 2-3 different quotes that helped me fit in to my budget.

Then, once he ordered and received the part, he called me back to let me know just how delicate the process was going to be and all of the possible outcomes, apparently it’s a bit of a hassle to replace the part. That level of transparency really goes a long way with me.

Finally, from the time I dropped off the phone to the time I picked it up was about 5-6 hours total, which I’d say is more than satisfactory.

Hands down I recommend Device Pros if you’re looking to go 3rd party repair and save some money, especially if you have an Apple product. Well done guys!

Derrick is the nicest guy in the world and does an excellent job.  I had a badly cracked screen on my phone he did an amazing job.  My phone is brand new!  You can tell he really cares about his customers and doing a great job for them.  Very genuine person.  I highly recommend DevicePros to anyone!

Great customer service. Very knowledgeable.   Extremely helpful and fair pricing.  Did not try to sell me anything extra.  Actually only charged for the part.  No install fee ect.  Super pleased.  I had dropped my 3 month old Galaxy  note 23 ulta phone from the 15th deck/floor  to the 7th on a cruise ship.  Only thing that had to be replaced was the battery.   A few wires repluged in.  Boy was I great full it was only a battery replacement.

My iPhone 14 Pro got shattered back glass.   Apple quoted me $500.  These guys were able to do it for a couple hundred less, very professional and fast.  Phone looks brand new now and I'll use them again.

Ace Hardware

Always have what I need, but went to get a wheelbarrow and there was no price on any of them. It may be near winter but still plenty of leaves on the ground. I needed a price and no employees around to help me. I'll go back, and hopefully, there'll be more employees scheduled to work.
Update: went today to get some double-sided tape, young man at checkout told me exactly where the tape was. And they have vegetable seeds, 3 for .99 cents. This is a HUGE bargain. Other stores are selling seeds for 2 or 3 dollars. Definitely a great thing to have Westlake.
The only issue I had today was trying to find a small plastic tub to put my used grease in. You have lids but not the tub size I need. Hopefully those smaller tubs with lids will be coming soon

We love this hardware store. The associates are helpful and friendly. Today, after consulting numerous online videos that weren’t able to help me, Bob H showed me  how to detangle and reload the line in my weed eater, with which I’ve had a long-standing love/hate relationship. Thank you sincerely Bob H. My daughter and I are delighted and grateful!!

I recently visited Ace Hardware and had the pleasure of interacting with two exceptional employees, Store Manager Jerry and Cashier Mary. Their outstanding service and expertise left a lasting impression on me.

From the moment I stepped into the store, Mary's warm greeting made me feel welcome and valued as a customer. Her friendly demeanor and willingness to assist created a positive atmosphere right from the start. It was evident that she genuinely cares about providing excellent customer service.

However, the exceptional service didn't stop there. Jerry, the Store Manager, went above and beyond to ensure I found exactly what I needed. He personally approached me and took the time to understand my requirements for a spark plug for my pressure washer. Jerry's extensive knowledge and expertise in the field were evident as he guided me through the store, pointing out the correct one for my pressure washer!

These are not interchangeable terms. Plenty of brick & mortar stores will price match Amazon, including some Ace Hardware locations.

I needed a T20 torx screwdriver for a car repair, I looked at the regular auto parts stores, Walmart, two home improvement stores, and even Harbor Freight and not a single one had one for immediate purchase, that is until I checked Ace Hardware in Shawnee. I was so pleased!! I went in and with a little search, found the exact thing that I needed. Also, there was a cashier fellow who was so cheerful and friendly, even taking the time to enroll me in the rewards program. Although, the man behind me was irritated by my delay, the cashier was polite and apologetic. I am definitely going back and would recommend, especially if you have a specific hardware item, go to Ace Hardware!!😉

Olathe Trading Post & Pawn

Great staff here usually up for intelligent conversations, especially when your interested in talking about something you wanna buy for them. Lol most quite knowledgeable and helpfull. I stop in here frequently to see what new "STUFF" they have. Reasonably good prices on everything I have looked for here. I've bought TVs, binoculars, chargers, and guns. Everything was a good buy.

Completed an out-of-state FFL transfer for a Hungarian PA63 pistol- transaction was quick/simple, shipment was very fast, taking ownership in my state was easy.  True professionals- highly recommend!

Wouldn’t recommend this place. Worked with a lot pawn shops and this place refuses to give a quote for an item over the phone to maintain control and was rude from the jump.

I explained I had the specs, and he still wouldn’t be transparent. I am in in sales and understand the business. Though the call could’ve been handled differently.

Talk about a shady business. I’m sure there’s other associates that are more friendlier in person. I really wish I heard the guys name I spoke to over the phone. From a consumer perspective in the digital age, this place is trash.

I recently purchased a Glock on-line from OTP&P. I purchased this item based on their description and pictures alone. Their customer service was amazing! The firearm was carefully packaged and mailed to my FFL. The Glock condition was better than described. I made a fair Offer that was accepted by OTP&P. Dont waste your time trying to sell them anything. The old guy that i talked to on the phone said they would look at my speaker. I go in to have it looked at and he wouldn't even look at the speaker. Seemed uninterested in doing business completely from the beginning of the interaction. Dont know how they are able to stay open with such a rude person working there.

The Honey Baked Ham Company

As a business partner, I am disturbed to see employees gleefully demanding 3rd party drivers deliver multiple orders for free to customers 10-15 miles away which they place personally bypassing the companies ordering systems. The disregard for My life has been noted. May all other professionals find Other restaurants to do business with who do not use humans to rob other humans wages especially those paid the lowest possible wage already allowed in America. Disgusted and will definitely remember the faces of those who work here. 🤮

Their sandwiches are great! When you order your holiday meats make sure to prepay save alot of time. Delicious ham and their mustard is good!!!

Great food and service was good. It was first time there and I was trying to figure out my lunch quickly. They offered Mac and Cheese as a side and it seemed like it was no charge. But when I got the bill, it was like a $4 upcharge. That was a bummer. And the drink was small. I should have done just the sandwich. It is really good - little expensive but worth it in my opinion. Just avoid the combos. Drink isn't anywhere near worth it and sides are upcharged unless you just want chips.

Nice place to get a meal.We get this every Easter.Their ham is delicious.If you sign up for the app,you can get bonus points for items.A change from fast food.They have many sides and desserts too.

I'm so sorry to have to say that we paid at least $60 for a fourth of a ham that was almost entirely fat! Am I crazy to expect at least 50% meat?

The UPS Store

Wyatt made sending some Christmas presents to several different addresses a total breeze! Everyone in the store was friendly and a couple associates knew repeat customers by name, which isn't something I'm used to seeing. Despite it being busy I never felt rushed and will absolutely come back to this store when I'm needing to ship things. Thanks so much!

I'm a boxholder, a shipping customer, and, most recently, a print customer at this store. In each of these roles, this store has extended incredible service and gracious customer care. Especially in the more recent print job, they were patient with my questions and encouraging in their recommendations and practice prints. I'm incredibly pleased with the final products and was met with extra-mile care in the bundling of the prints for safe transport and the chivalrous offer to help me to my car with everything.

I'm extremely grateful for the excellent professional services with the added bonus of local hospitality and customer service that "feels like family" this store provides. I will continue to look to them for help with these services and will recommend them to my friends and business colleagues in the area!

The employee in this place always looks like he just had a drunken weekend with wrinkly clothes and the worst attitude possible. This guy has the personality of something dead. God forbid he greet you when you walk in the door or not look at you stupid when you ask a question. Will not come in here again. Hire people that don’t have personality issues!

Gregg is the worst customer service rep ever! Do not go to the store!!! I regret it every time I forget to order stuff. He is slow in everything he does, he acts like he hates his life and everyone who walks into the store.

If I could give this store 0 stars I would. The employee completely ignored me when I walked in and didn’t say a word to me the whole time I was there. It was the most awkward encounter I’ve ever experienced. It took about 5 minutes for him to even check me out.

My experience was horrible. My friend had suggested a meal replacement shake and had shared a picture (should have been easy enough to show to a sales associate and have them point me in the right direction to find it) but no... We walked in and the sales associate was with the one other customer in the store. My friend and I made three laps around the store looking for the right shake and not once did the sales associate acknowledge that we were present, not a hi, hey, or hello. I made a comment to my friend "well, since we haven't been helped here maybe we should go somewhere else" and started walking toward the door. Only then did the associate say "Can I help you find anything" while standing right next to the guy he had been helping. I said no and walked out. Ridiculous service. As a former retail associate I was surprised not to be greeted upon entering the store. This occurred on June 21st at 8:30 p.m. Whoever the sales associate was, you drove out what could have been an easy sell. Will not be returning to this store.

Don't appreciate when I return a product and get a lecture on how to use it. If I don't like a product and bring it back with a receipt for a return I don't need you to try and convince me to keep it. I also don't appreciate the attitude because I refuse to keep the product because your opinion didn't change my mind.

AutoZone Auto Parts

Great place always friendly staff and generally have everything I need, except the engine air filter but that thing is just a pain to find anywhere. But yeah I walk in and my boy Rodney says “welcome to the autozone it’s the automatic zone where we take you to the bone zone like fro zone from incredible two zone, can I interested you in a back rub?” Gets me every time Rodney. You dawg. But I’m all seriousness this is a great place and generally my go to for the things I need for my vehicles.

Logan was awesome. He changed my battery and refused a tip. I will definitely be back for my auto parts needs. Really liked the St Jude voluntary donation offered at check out!!

Bought a new battery from this location almost two years ago. I have 2016 Accord and apparently they eat through batteries. The battery was still under warranty so they replaced it for free. The tech was kind enough to install it for me as well. Not a hard job but a relatively dirty one when you’re in work clothes. I appreciate their quickness and professionalism. Back on the road with no issues.

What a great place!  I came in with a sluggish battery and Jonathan tested it, it came back as bad, he sold me a battery and put it in within a few minutes.  The price was better than what I looked up online for my car.  It was so easy!

In January of 2023, I purchased a battery (group size 26) for my Subaru.  Fast forward to June and I start having issues.  Mechanic says the proper size is group 25.  I return to AutoZone where Logan helped me with a hassle free switch and install.

The other staff member was super helpful as well.  The store is clean and well-organized.

Of note - the story is VERY busy at 5-6p during the week.  Logan and his team did a wonderful job with everyone.
