Ace Hardware

Always have what I need, but went to get a wheelbarrow and there was no price on any of them. It may be near winter but still plenty of leaves on the ground. I needed a price and no employees around to help me. I'll go back, and hopefully, there'll be more employees scheduled to work. Update: went today to get some double-sided tape, young man at checkout told me exactly where the tape was. And they have vegetable seeds, 3 for .99 cents. This is a HUGE bargain. Other stores are selling seeds for 2 or 3 dollars. Definitely a great thing to have Westlake. The only issue I had today was trying to find a small plastic tub to put my used grease in. You have lids but not the tub size I need. Hopefully those smaller tubs with lids will be coming soon

We love this hardware store. The associates are helpful and friendly. Today, after consulting numerous online videos that weren’t able to help me, Bob H showed me how to detangle and reload the line in my weed eater, with which I’ve had a long-standing love/hate relationship. Thank you sincerely Bob H. My daughter and I are delighted and grateful!!

I recently visited Ace Hardware and had the pleasure of interacting with two exceptional employees, Store Manager Jerry and Cashier Mary. Their outstanding service and expertise left a lasting impression on me. From the moment I stepped into the store, Mary's warm greeting made me feel welcome and valued as a customer. Her friendly demeanor and willingness to assist created a positive atmosphere right from the start. It was evident that she genuinely cares about providing excellent customer service. However, the exceptional service didn't stop there. Jerry, the Store Manager, went above and beyond to ensure I found exactly what I needed. He personally approached me and took the time to understand my requirements for a spark plug for my pressure washer. Jerry's extensive knowledge and expertise in the field were evident as he guided me through the store, pointing out the correct one for my pressure washer!

Will not price match Amazon 🫤 edit: owner is either out of touch or doesn’t know what “brick & mortar” means “brick & mortar” ≠ “mom & pop” These are not interchangeable terms. Plenty of brick & mortar stores will price match Amazon, including some Ace Hardware locations.

I needed a T20 torx screwdriver for a car repair, I looked at the regular auto parts stores, Walmart, two home improvement stores, and even Harbor Freight and not a single one had one for immediate purchase, that is until I checked Ace Hardware in Shawnee. I was so pleased!! I went in and with a little search, found the exact thing that I needed. Also, there was a cashier fellow who was so cheerful and friendly, even taking the time to enroll me in the rewards program. Although, the man behind me was irritated by my delay, the cashier was polite and apologetic. I am definitely going back and would recommend, especially if you have a specific hardware item, go to Ace Hardware!!😉
