We didn't buy gas here, but the cars on display made it a must stop. It is on the way to Eldorado Canyon.

Holy cow.  Needed to fill up tank before heading to Golden.  I noticed $5.27/gallon.  Figured I couldn't fill my tank up with this rocket fuel at this price, so I only put 1 gallon in.  Drove to Golden where I filled up at $3.19 a gallon.  I was always told most gas came from the same refinery, but these clowns must be buying from NASA.

Alright. You all have read what everyone else has said, and it’s all true. Price gouging is unreal. $6/gal or more here. Now let’s address Shell “corporate’s” copy and paste excuse they’ve given to everyone else. Yeah, this place is a scam organization run by dirtbag people, but when Shell claims that they take things like this very seriously what they really mean is “we pay an intern nothing to tell people we take this seriously, but plan on doing exactly zero about it”. Just go get gas somewhere else other than this redneck outpost.

No price for gas on the sign. Come to find after pumping that’s it’s outrageous expensive.  Staff was not pleasant either. This location is wasted on whoever owns this gas station.

Should’ve read the reviews. Never imagine a gas station would be $2 dollars per gallon more than a mile down the road. Talk about price inflation. I hope y’all get shut down.

RNR Tire Express

Went above and beyond to make sure I got into a set of wheels and tires., They were super quick and very professional. Even cracked a rim on a pothole the next day and they went and ordered me another set of rims and installed them no charge and actually saved me 2 dollars a payment. Super cool place to do business with. Would highly recommend and would definitely go back again

The guys at RNR were very helpful in getting me new rims and tires on my car and it didn’t take very long at all. They answered any questions that I had regarding the tires and rims.

Shawn helped me get 4 new wheels put on right before I had class! They work fast and good. I didn’t have one single problem out of them and it was a great customer service experience.

Needed 2 new tires on my car, the price was average for the area. Shawn helped me, he was awesome. They found out the other 2 new tires I got from discount tire were the wrong size for my car (i switched from discount tire to here because i did not like their service). Shawn answered all of my questions about the issue and thankfully RNR was able to match that size of tire for the same price and my car was good to go. Same day service and great customer service.

Budget Blinds of Mason City & Clear Lake

Very nice people! They came out gave me lots of information,  I made my decision, got my order in, it was an easy process. The installer came out about six weeks later, installed my blinds in about an hour. He was very professional, very polite And kind. I would definitely use them again.

I just had the blinds in all of our bedrooms replaced and Budget Blinds made it so easy! From coming to my house to bring samples, helping me stay within my budget, and the quick, expert installation - it was a great experience.  I highly recommend!

The service was great everything from the guy at the register explaining what was wrong and what he recommended as was honest and knew exactly what he was talking about to the technician that done the work and he himself taking a moment to bring things to my attention and explain what he had to do it was just a good experience with honest and very professional people all the way around. I will definitely do business again and recommend to any and everyone!!

the tech i spoke to on the phone was very rude and disrespectful.
my 2001 ford econoline needed to get the spark plugs serviced and get the issue where they blow out of the cylinder addressed before it happens to me while im on the road working. the man refused service and hung up before i had a chance to ask what shops around here would do the job.  if that is how they deal with vehicles which have to have these issues addressed then i would never recommend this shop to anyone who has work trucks and vans. very unprofessional.

Staff was honest where another repair shop had not been. No charge for inspection, many miles left to go with what I have and I’ll def be bringing my car back here…instead of the other place!

I think they are the best repair shop in town. Good with communication, timeliness, and price. I have now been there several times over the past five years and never walked away upset about choosing them.

Big O Tires

I want to give Big O Tires a huge shout out for their customer service.  We bought tires from their Lebanon store.  WE (not Big O Tire) made a big mistake, but when I called Big O Tires to see what I should do, they went above and beyond and out of their way to provide us with the best customer service to help us!  Joey contacted the store in Jefferson City (since that was the closest one to our house) and helped us get what we needed.  Everyone was amazing!  But especially Joey (from the Lebanon store) and Zach (from the Jefferson City store).  THANK YOU FOR HELPING US OUT!!!!!  We are now life long customers!

The staff is super friendly. I ended up needing more than an oil change and Kevin was very patient while explaining the work that was needed to me. The prices are very reasonable and they had me back on the road the same day. I don't take my vehicle anywhere but this Big O.

Big O tires knows how to talk straight and honest business in the interest of your life. It’s a favor they do the town. If you have an issue in there all ya gotta do is listen and then ask a good question. They’re just fine.

Brought my vehicle in for a tire rotation, alignment, and flat repair. When I got home there was a wheel lug missing. I took it back and then they had an issue with a wheel leg not going on correctly. They replaced the lug. They were friendly and quick to repair. I’m giving a 4 star rating because I am the one who found the issue and I had to go back. They did handle it well.

DO NOT USE. They will rip you off!!! I paid for and ordered a window motor through them, they installed said window motor in my car. After they realized the motor was defective they left it in and informed me that if wanted one that worked I would need to order another one through them. Shouldn’t that be on them??? I mean at the very least surely they can send back a defective part to money back for the part???

Brothers Ace Hardware

They're handy being right here in town and almost always have what I need without having to go to a big "box" store.

The manager in the Dept for tools and lawn and garden. They had a craftsmen wet dry vac advertised for 99 with 20 off with rewards card. First he didn’t want to open to check to see if it had the attachment that I wanted. Which it did. At check out rang it up for 99 dollars. Would not try and offer discount. Walked out probably list my business I’ll go to Ace in Charles City. He got an attitude immediately.

Brothers Ace Hardware in Clear Lake Iowa is the best. They have a little of everything. The employees are great and very helpful.

I've bought a chainsaw, pet food, plants and grill there, in the last year or so.  Staff helpful, as well.  Worked out great!

This place is like stepping back a couple of decades in time, and I mean that in the best way. Good selection of merchandise and good old fashioned customer service.

True customer service. They ask if you need help finding anything and will walk you to it. They have a great selection and the new owners and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Probably my favorite store on the planet. If they don’t have an item you probably didn’t really need it. The staff makes you feel like family and are knowledgeable about their products.

You know, I never thought I’d say this about this place but I am. The help flat sucks, aside from the owner few people know anything in this place and they don’t care about helping you either. They have great product selection, but if you can’t help yourself then you’re out of luck.

Very satisfied with the service I received at Big O this week. From start to finish I was kept informed about what my vehicle needed, how much it would cost and great follow up. They got me in and out the same day, at a price well below what I was quoted elsewhere. Josh was super helpful in explaining everything as well as following up to see if everything was driving well 2 days later.  I will be bringing my vehicle in for all my future maintenance needs.

I sent my son to get a tire patched or replaced depending on what they recommended at Big O tire in Fayetteville Arkansas.  They told him it wasn’t patch’able so he said replace it.  It was a tire for 2021 Toyota Camry.  It cost me 260 dollars to replace 1 tire on a Toyota Camry.  They claim it was the cheapest tire in stock for that car.  My son is 20 and has never dealt with this stuff before.  They totally took advantage of him.  260 dollars for a small sedan tire is absurd.  I will not be giving them my business again.  It’s a Big O brand tire.  It’s not even a name brand tire.  So frustrating!

Service is excellent. Employees are attentive and concerned about customers. On my way home from work at 6am after a 12 hour shift something was in the road I couldn’t see and I ran over it. The lights were on at Big O tires but it was before opening. The young man still came out to check my tires and make sure they were safe to drive. Always professional!

I came in tonight and received not only the worst vehicle service experience of my life, but probably the worst experience with any service establishment of any kind period. I made an appointment for 4PM today for a simple oil change, something that should take 20 minutes. They confirmed my appointment, which you would assume meant that at 4 they would have somebody to work on it right? Wrong. I sat in the lobby from 3:55-6:00 and my truck did not even get pulled into the shop, much less get an oil change. I wasted two hours of my life that I will never get back, just for my truck to spend the whole time in the same parking lot that I parked it in. I inquired once about the status of my vehicle; but was given no information. This is unacceptable, confirming a customer’s appointment and then allowing them to sit for two hours and do nothing about it when they arrive on time. To make matters worse, as I waited I saw one of the worker dudes messing around in the parking lot and in the shop in the red big o tires truck. He was laughing while squealing the tires and speeding up and smashing the brakes. This included pulling through the garage door into a bay at a very fast speed, then smashing the brakes, then accelerating again while inside. I was so glad to know that the workers are making good use of their time while I wait 2 hours for a simple oil change. If I could give zero stars, I would. After two hours of waiting, I took my keys and left because I wouldn’t even trust them to drive it from the parking lot. No way these irresponsible, unprofessional individuals will be working with important parts of my engine. If you care about your vehicle, or your time go literally anywhere else. I would probably trust a toddler with an impact to do a better job than these clowns.

Justin at big o tires was most likely the most helpful employee I have ever interacted with at a tire shop. Extremely professional and made sure I was helped quickly and efficiently while getting me the best deal possible. Would highly recommend them for any of your needs when it comes to tires.
