Brownsburg Ace Hardware

After visiting two big boxes and two other hardware stores, I gave Brownsburg Ace a try.  I was promptly helped in a very courteous manner with my custom paint mixing by Jordan.

She was very knowledgeable and willing to try some thing she had not done before with the paint. It turned out perfect!

I will most certainly be back for any future needs. The store was well lit and well stocked and most importantly, offered great customer service.

Thank you Jordan for a wonderful experience at your store. It is quite evident that you know and care a great deal about paint, the store overall, while offering superb customer service!

As always, I was helped finding what I needed. Dusty made sure I had all I was looking for and in the correct size for my plumbing job!
Great place

Small local shop usually has what I am looking for... especially odd things.  Service is usually friendly, but it would be nice if when the cashier greets you walking in, she would actually look up from her phone.

If there is a zero star, I could have give them zero star. Store Manager was very rude and did not know how to deal with the customer. She better stay at home and don't come to work. Such a nonsense people. Worst experience ever I have had in this store.

Rented a Uhaul van. Tires were supposed to be 80 lbs. There was a tire at 49lbs. They said it's on its just a bad sensor. They said they have no way to air up a tire?  No air compressor in the store?  I took it to Belle tire and filed up all the tires. All of the tires were low.  Oh, and the sensor was accurate.  Told them about it.  No credit offered,  just I am sorry.

Ace Handyman Services Bryan College Station

Juan did an amazing job of taking what had been a recessed portion of an entryway/hallway wall and turning it into a beautiful set of bookshelves where I can display all of my favorite books and more. His attention to detail- from measuring to cutting to leveling and painting- resulted in the bookshelves I had been dreaming of. The company was easy and friendly to work with and the cost was very reasonable. I definitely recommend them for this type of work and will be using them again in the future! Sofi

We had a home project to complete and our time frame was running out. We needed a crew that was ready for work and knew what to do as soon as possible. We reached out to Ace Handyman Services and they answered the phone which provided the initial personal interaction we needed to move forward. Teresa assessed our needs and we where pleased to met with Blake, same day, to review the job requests we had. He is reasonably priced to individual needs and accommodating to what you as the customer want to pay for, no grey area. He scheduled two of the most awesome professionals to help my wife and I complete our job. Their work was efficient, quality, and steady as we were able to finish the job. The guys were knowledgeable and easy to work with. We definitely recommend their services to others in need of upgrades or home repairs. Big thanks to Blake, Brandon, and Ron for helping us to complete this project, we’ll definitely be reaching out to them in the future as needed.

Great company, would recommend them to anyone. We had some trim around a pocket door that needed to be fixed/replaced and Ace Handyman was both quick and easy to get scheduled. One side of the trim didn’t turn out quite like we had expected, called them to let them know and they were very prompt and polite about getting someone out to make it look the way we wanted.

Ask for Miguel! We recently hired Ace Handyman services, and I'm beyond impressed with his skills and professionalism. They were very communicative and responsive.  Miguel not only replaced what we needed very efficiently, but he also went above and beyond because it was a more complicated replacement than we expected. He offered suggestions, cleaned up, and made sure everything was perfect. Will definitely use him again. Highly recommend!!

Twenty X Panels

Wish half a star was an option. What a joke, wouldn’t sell a few parts because I bought previously from the competition. Happy to take my business elsewhere and will encourage everyone I know to do the same! Keep up the good work 👍

Great Lakes Ace

Stopped in last week to get softener salt.  The salt was blocked off by a plant display and people selling t-shirts.  Went inside to get checked out and the was no one in the vicinity of the cash registers.  Left and bought the salt elsewhere.  Stopped in today to order lawn fertilizer delivered to my home.  No one in the store knew how to ring me up.  Will get my fertilizer elsewhere.  This used to be a decent hardware store with helpful people.

Great Lakes Ace Hardware in Plainfield Indiana has a good sale for Labor Day the pain I bought was 50% off the second gallon also they match the color perfectly and the price I paid was a lot lower price than Lowe's they also have cleaning supplies paint supplies you'll save money there versus driving the way that gas prices are to somewhere further I would recommend going to this Great Lakes Ace in Plainfield

Go here. Not the big box stores. A knowledgeable person will help you within seconds and very near the same price as the store where you cant find what you need or a person who wants to help you.

Clean store easy to navigate had what I was  looking plenty of sales associates worth stopping wide selection of products

Extremely helpful staff and lots of stock. They can be a little pricey though.

Target

This Target 🎯 store has great floor staff that were working around shopper's and assisting with questions. They're young but on the ball helping shopper's. I will be back!

Typical Target store. Staff talking to each other rather than opening another check out lane was frustrating. Clean, well stocked location.

Have most anything you might be looking for. Like any other department store. From some groceries to furniture and small appliances.

The High Horse Saloon & Eatery

We just went here Sunday night for a birthday dinner. We had 8 people. The food was really amazing, the atmosphere (aside from the drunk lady dropping f bombs left and right) was great. People were friendly and the best part was our waitress was really really phenomenal (no I don’t know her). It was so refreshing to have such a great dining experience. We will definitely be coming back!

The omelet was good and the burrito was enormous! Service was friendly and good. The saloon was half full when we stopped in for a late breakfast.  Tables are well spaced to give a spacious feeling. Prices were comparable to other restaurants. We liked it and will return especially since they serve breakfast until 2 pm. The lunch menu looks good, too.

Had the prime rib and smashed potatoes and my man had the po boy. Excellent job by the chef. He even came to our table to double check our food order!  The atmosphere was really cowboy good. I would have loved to have been there on dance night!

Great food, great service. The coffee is delicious. Plenty of seating. The mimosas are a fantastic complement to any breakfast.

It is our go to breakfast joint.
The parking lot leaves a bit to be desired, but once inside, you quickly forget about it.

We love the High Horse, yesterday was no exception.  The chicken fried steak at lunch time was over the top amazing.  Thank you for doing what you do.  Love it!!!

Walmart Supercenter

Shelves were not stocked on the more common items. The place was not very clean. The bathrooms were down right filthy. The atmosphere was one of suspicion and nosey. Not helpful at all. I think Walmart needs to go back to customer care, putting cashiers at the checkouts instead of someone roaming around worrying about me doing their job correctly and efficiently!

Always avoided Wall-Mart in Flint, because the clientele was 'Sus', and never felt safe. But, visited the Wall-Mart in Billings, Montana and it was 8/10.  Super big complain is they had strange isle caps that went into the isle. It made a HUGE traffic jam. Only 1 cart could fit entering or exiting an isle. DUMB! Bur, I filled my cart with lots and fully expected my bill to come to $400 at least. Was shocked that my total was less than $300! Biggest complaint to offer was the produce I bought was AMAZING! Never had a fresher, more perfect tomatoe. WOW! Will try to patron more Wall-Marts when I can!

Had exactly what we needed. We were traveling and needed a few items for our RV. We were able to park easily in the parking pickup area. The woman who brought out our items was super friendly! All of our items were available.

Had tires done macanic did great job an were rather fast however tried to way over charge like double almost but straightened it all out so was good experiance

Cheaper prices are as you're used to, but items are likely to be out of stock. The pickers do not move and plow through to where they need to be. Not all employees are rude, but very few are helpful and kind.

CK Tech - Security, Theater, Smart Homes

I hired CK Tech to install and monitor the cameras for my business, a daycare.

Last year, week before Christmas, in broad daylight, a thief stole a car from my lot.

Because I had cameras, the parent was reassured.

At least... temporarily.

The cameras did get everything.

But then I had to send the recording to a police officer.

When I try to send the file, I can't. System says it's too big.

Sounds like a simple, 2-min fix for a techie, so I call CK Tech.

Gone for the day at 4pm.

Leave message. No response the next day.

I try later that day, several times. When I do connect with the (nice) office lady, she can't help.

Says she told the owner and he'll get back to me the following week (?).

He never did. It was a moot point by then anyway. The car was probably in Uzbekistan.

Obviously, not being able to assist the student's family undermined my professional credibility.

My building wasn't as secure as we all believed.

Left CK Tech the next month.

Called around to a few other monitoring companies asking how they handle common scenarios.

The one I chose seems to really appreciate how important access to video footage is for sensitive, high-trust businesses like mine.

Craig was amazing getting out quickly for an estimate and fitting us in on a Saturday to install and take over our security monitoring. We are more than pleased with the service and willingness to get us set up fast. Thank you Craig!

Absolutely recommend CK Tech. Called Craig and he came to our house that same day for a quote. He was extremely knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. He was able to come back the next week after we accepted his quote. He and his team were able to cut our costs by completing the job quicker than expected and reusing some of the old equipment in our home. He and his team were professional, personable and timely throughout the entire process. Our family is completely satisfied and loves our new state of the art security system.

St. Vincent Healthcare

We utilize St Vincent hospital for the last 50 years. We've seen it grow and extend services. We love Saint V's. And as I have said before if by some accident I am taken to Billings clinic hospital because I cannot express my desire to be taken to St fees when my husband arrives he has to get an ambulance and take me to St V's. I get fantastic care from them. I've had several surgeries some of them so involved that they lasted 13 hours. The whole time the staff the surgeon or fantastic.

Saint Vincents hospital is the greatest hospital I’ve ever been to have visited there many times for health reasons and also Billings clinic Saint Vincents is by far the best have the best people that are the most kind hearted And understanding of any professionals I’ve had to work with thank you so much for going above and beyond and making my experience more pleasant as a disabled combat veteran with severe PTSD, anxiety and panic attacks. I am not always welcomed as warmly as I am with your hospital. You really do care, and I am so very thankful thank you thank you.

I honestly don't know what the other reviews were complaining about. My experience was 100% positive from beginning to end. My husband and I are new to Billings and I needed emergency refills on some of my heart meds. The staff were all friendly and compassionate. I was seen quickly, and my concerns were addressed even more quickly. In less than 2 hours I seen, treated, and on my way to get my meds. They even set me up with an appointment to get a new primary Doctor. I am impressed 👍😁

Tuesday, December 12th, I had Carotid Artery surgery and stayed in Intensive care for a night and day.  I was so impressed with my ICU nurse, Chris!!   First class care.  Then I dealt with three more excellent nurses before I was discharged on the 13th.  St Vincent's has a marvelous staff in ICU and I could not be happier with the care I received!

I have always been a Billings Clinic guy until about 3 yrs ago.  I had a very bad experiance at Billings Clinic and my boss took me to St V's and they put me in the hospital for 3 days with some very serious health issues and since then I have went to St V's since then!! Everything in that hospital isjust a way better feeling for me.

SKECHERS Warehouse Outlet

Super nice store to shop in. Staff was helpful, without hovering, which was nice. I have to try shoes on, just can't order online like some people. I got a nice comfy pair of shoes. The prices are a bit high, especially on discount items. Still a nice experience.

Knowledgable, friendly staff. My husband has a very wide foot and the slippers he wanted didn't come in a wide so the gentleman working told my husband to try on a larger one and it fit perfect. They have a large selection and the clearance section is amazing. I recommend this store and we will return.

This store is nicely set up and has all the shoes you could think of. It also has clothes as well and the customer service was awesome. Definitely will be back. Highly recommend!

The tennis shoe selection is great! Employees are friendly if not readily available to assist. The store would benefit from a long reaching shoe hook to make it easier for associates to bring down high shelved boxes, and I wish the try-on benches had mirrors on both ends and wish seating was available to help less mobile clientele get up and down from trying on shoes (maybe some chairs with side arms).

Really disappointed. It’s sad with how new the store is the staff already don’t like their job. It’s was my first visit with my family along and we were not greeted or felt welcomed. Spent an hour there. Was kinda confused since a lot of shoes felt triple exposed in diffent sections so wasn’t completely sure if we were in right place to find our needs as far as fits. Two women stood behind cash wrap the whole time gossiping amongst their selves.
I witnessed some senior customers as well trying to find shoes that we not being helped or assisted. I watched people leave with no interaction.
Unfortunately we left due to confusion and lack of customer service. Prices felt high as well for a foam glued shoe that would fall apart in less than a year with normal wear. But maybe I’m wrong, but wouldn’t know since staff wasn’t there to educate the customer.
Will not be returning. Wouldn’t be surprised to find another store there in a year.
