Menards

I purchased a propane patio heater.  Upon opening the box, this is what I find.  I called the store and they can offer a refund, but I need to drive 2 hours one way, back to the store to get the refund.  What a joke.

I was shopping last month at this Menards with my toddler, and while distracted my $16.XX rebate check apparently fell out of my pocket somewhere. I retraced where we went and couldn't find it and figured it was lost - someone probably picked it up and used it. However, a couple weeks later a Menards envelope arrived from this same location and inside was my $16.XX rebate check! Even the post-it note list I had put on it was still there. Apparently, someone found my rebate check on the floor, it made it to management, they used the info to get my address, and mailed it back to me. Thank You to all the good people at this Menards whose hands that rebate check went through! I/we greatly appreciate your act of good will and integrity!

All I need is more money to spend here. Home improvements and the 11% rebate sale has me coming back for more. Sandpaper, bulk candy and dog food. What else do you need in a store?

Attempted to purchase a pergola at the Fargo, ND but there was more one around so we went up to the register. The clerk suggested we talk to the lady at the front service desk. She refused to help. She told us we had to walk all the way to the back of the store to have someone there write it up. She refused to ask anyone from the back to bring it up. Mind you my mother is 76 years old and struggles to walk that far. The clerk was asked nicely to call back and ask if someone could come up to help but again she refused. I am appalled by how Menards treats the elderly. Never again will I shop there.

Never coming back here again. I had West Fargo PD pay me a visit at my home asking me about fraudulent purchase worth $700 - 800. Apparently, you guys listed me as one of the POI?! I was there that day in a wheelchair to pick up my ONLINE order!! I had 1 item to return and 1 item to pick up that day!! If any of you would just look at the camera footage, you’d see we were in and out of your store. Are you guys that incompetent or just RACIAL profiling?! Do you not have cameras outside the store? The officer told me some of the items included in this fraudulent transaction, a purchase of that size and that many items, you would think that person would be in the store for awhile and you guys went after me, who picked up an online order worth $30! Shame on you guys.

Journeys

If I could give 0 stars it would be more fitting. Terrible experience. We love journeys and have shopped here since our 8yr old started wearing shoes. Today we experienced the most disrespectful, rude, and childish customer experience we’ve ever experienced at Journeys. I did not get the proper help to purchase shoes. In fact, all of them sat behind the counter and provided zero help. I needed a size 4 in kids and the short lady with dark shoulder length hair behind the counter said they didn’t carry that size and turned around to proceed to show her coworkers something on her phone. Obviously I knew they could offer me a size in women’s that would fit my daughter but they failed to do so. I had to complain of their lack of good customer service to get help. A new employee offered to help me while the rest hid in the back and giggled at their disrespect .. we got the shoes in women’s and left. Terrible. Had I not promised my daughter shoes TODAY,  We would have waited and ordered online to avoid this nonsense. Takes 0 efforts to be kind and deliver exceptional customer service.

Tyler, I think it was, gave us a laugh with his pitches, but he's a keeper. Wish them the best there, even though we did not purchase anything, no not even the shoe protector... haha

I was in there to return some shoes my husband decided he didn’t like. The lady was rude to me as she asked why I was returning them. She just had a yucky tone of voice and didn’t make me feel very good. I really didn’t get a positive, welcoming vibe in that store.

The female employee that was working the register this evening is incredibly rude and has a horrible attitude. She wears glasses and has blonde streaks in her hair. When we asked if this store had a certain size in Hey Dude shoes for toddlers, she was very snarky and snippy. She didn't listen to what we said when rudely asked what size after being told more than once. When she brought out the shoe boxes, she rudely and aggressively handed them to us.

I understand it's the holiday season and working in retail can be crazy and stressful, but don't work in retail if you have a nasty attitude and can't be nice to your customers.

Not friendly and no idea of what basic customer service looks like. Not one worker behind the desk looked or asked if I wanted to try anything on. I had to go out of my way to ask them to grab a size for me. Felt like I was inconveniencing them by asking they do their job. It was awkward and eventually I just left. It really sucks because there is not that many shoe stores in fargo and now one less I will visit.

Famous Footwear

We got an awesome deal and found great shoes for my daughter. It wasn't that much more expensive than going to a cheaper place with cheap shoes. I'm glad we went here and got name brand shoes and I'm happy to know it will lend her the foot support she needed. Highly recommend!

I had never been to any Famous Footwear store before. The manager, Erin, took excellent care of me. While they didn't have a lot of options for me, she knew exactly what my options were and had me out in under half an hour. And I left with a pair of shoes I love. :)

used to do all our kids shoe shopping here. advertise buy one get one half off, but the half off does not apply to Nike, converse, hey dudes, or I believe addidas..............so 95% of the store does not count for the advertised sale. will shop someplace else from now on. would have been better to not advertise the sale at all

On Your Feet

Stopped by to get shoes of a brand recommended by my podiatrist. The saleswoman cheerfully spent about an hour trying to find a pair of shoes to fit my very long, narrow feet. When we decided they didn’t have anything that would work, she called their other branch store and told me what sizes and models she thought I needed to find. She was obviously interested in seeing that I got the right shoes even if I didn’t buy them there. They’ll get my business again!

Me and my mom walked in and thought the selection was great. But the customer service was awful. We felt like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman. Were we not the standard of what typically walks into that store? Is there a bias there? Maybe. But judging by other customer reviews I’ve come to the conclusion they just don’t care about customer service.

This shoe store has a wide variety of high quality shoes and socks. The staff are nice to talk with and are very knowledgeable about the products they sell. Patrick helped me find the right shoes for me, which isn't easy since I have wide feet and high arches. If there's anything bad I can say about On Your Feet is their products are expensive.

I have purchased from this store in the past, during covid, and the staff were not what I would call friendly.  They will assist you, but act as though they are doing you a great favor by doing so.  I chalked it up to the pandemic and possibly the employees not really wanting to be there.  I went back this past weekend and the vibe was essentially the same.   I ended up being assisted by a lady who brought me shoes in the size I thought I might need.  As it turned out I needed a larger size and this is when it went south as she rudely told me she didn't have that color in the other size but would look, and I asked for an additional color just in case.  She huffed away and brought back a pair of shoes in the additional color I requested, tossed them on the floor, and then went off to ring someone up.  I decided to see if I could just find the same pair of shoes online and did see the same brand through a well known online store that starts with a Z, and ordered the shoes there in the size I needed.  I was happy to support a local store but honestly don't care to be treated disrespectfully, by people who don't seem to be happy in their employment.

Besser Ace Hardware

So happy they are still kicking it here downtown. I go all the time due to convenience to the house. However prices have increased so much on mulch and a few things I have always locked up here…I’m seriously priced out and going back to Lowe’s in North Little Rock. Wish they could drop prices 20%.

Got my window screens replaced. Very affordable and done super quick! Will definitely go there again.

Tanner and Dustin saved my family's road trip from Texas to Michigan. One of the straps to our roof top luggage carrier broke while pulling into hotel in Little Rock. Tanner helped me find a ratchet strap to serve as a replacement and Dustin came out to the parking lot and helped me install it. This Ace Hardware turned a high stress situation into a huge relief. Thank you for your A+ customer service.

Employees there are so so very helpful. Good prices, they have allot of good items. Great place to shop. What makes this location good is the Employees. Nothing is perfect, but I give "this" location 4.5 out of 5.0.

I got oil change done today! What happened to communicate with the customer? I didn't get report on my vehicle or told if anything was wrong or had to tap and other fluids. Would be nice to know what going on with my truck! Any other place tell you about your vehicle and give you report on your vehicle!!

The employee stated it was there and I had asked can you come and get it for me he said it should be right there and I asked again can you get it for me and he said right there  and it was not there even though he looked it up on his device  and it said it was there so I just got my child and left. Today have line’s closed were are the workers

This walmart is like no other. It's almost scary.
Stock is not present. Folks aren't as helpful @ this location.
I added a star, they have remodeled, it seems better. However.. the front bathroom is already kinda rundown. It had so much potential!!

Let’s be honest, this is not the wal mart of old.   They want you to check yourself out, and then check you at the door.       I don’t work there.      Why should I have to check myself out??  25 lanes for check out with one or two open. And then be scrutinized when I leave if I’ve paid for my stuff.   Wal mart sucks.

SCHEELS

Usually pretty good service.  Was in today and was told an item I want was no longer available for purchase so I bought something less desirable, only to find out when I got home that it was still available.  Worth buying then making a separate trip and dealing with the return process?  Probably not.  Advice to others is to check yourself while at the store since you can’t always rely on what’s being told to you.  Gave 4 stars because it was likely an isolated incident.  Hopefully..

Had such a wonderful experience last night! I needed 14 gallons of paint which I know is a lot of work for the employees. They were happy to help! They grabbed all the paint for me, even offered to help load it in my truck for me!!! Exceptional service from Colleen and Josh in the paint department! 100/10 recommended going to Scheels Home and Hardware for your painting needs!

Cafe Robert inside Scheels Home and Hardware is phenomenal!! The ladies working there are fabulous and SO friendly. The customer service world doesn't deserve them 🥹

Spent a ton of time trying to find a 40 ounce blue stanley tumbler. I called this branch and talked to a Laura and she knew what i was talking about before i even finished explaining it. What a bubbly personality. She helped so much. Hang on to her!

I didn't go far enough into the store to base my rating on anything other than the employees. Across the board, all my interactions with staff have been positive. From the way you are greeted, to being thanked on the way out. 11

Tradehome Shoes

This place is wonderful! They customized my shoe to fit me , I have flat feet and they showed me an insole that has worked wonders for me ! They’re all so kind and each individual person is treated to fit their needs. All this place needed was new management! Huge thanks to Payton and kaden. The return policy is stress free too! I had to return a pair for my son and it was so smooth! They put the funds back into my account within 2 days just like they said.

Peyton was great and so was the rest of the staff! Got myself a nice pair of ON Clouds and my dad got some Hokas.

This is the place to get your Ecco shoes! I just had to retire my 9 year old shoes and was in and out with a new pair in 10 minutes! Why pay $50 every year when $180 gets you almost 10 years.

General negative experience from working with the sizing process to returning shoes that were too small. After returning home, found that the shoes purchased didn’t fit properly with the inserts provided and after I returned to the store, found out that the store didn’t have a larger size. I tried to get my credit card credited for the return but they would only provide an in-store credit, which was eventually changed after much time and effort. Credit (“bonus credit” for previous purchase) from a different, previously purchased pair of shoes was nullified and could not be carried over to future purchases after returning the pair of shoes that didn’t fit. Tried to explain my situation, but sales man kept talking over me and wouldn’t allow me to speak.

They are thrives  at this store  my son set his wallet down to try on shoes and forgot  his wallet  when he  left so he  went back in to get it  and  they sd they  tried to catch him as soon as he left but didn't see where he went so tjey looked  threw it  to find his info  and they were going  to try to find him on Facebook  but hadn't  had gotten to it yet. When my son opened  it to check his 100 bill was missing  when he asked them about  it they sd they weren't  sure  then sd if it was such a problem  they could  give him back 50. Which he didn't  get either.  This place is awful  that they will steal from young kids and customers.    I will  be telling  everyone  I know  about  this. Also wouldn't  let him see the cameras. Great employee  owed company  . If you can't make a.sale just steal there money.

Diggle Ace Hardware

Very helpful employees.  Great selection for a small town hardware store.

They have a lot of items, even some fishing stuff which is pretty surprising. Usually can find something that will work if they don't have the exact item I need.
I gave it three stars because the staff is less than friendly and the prices are higher than going to Menards or somewhere else.

So you can get most of what you need for repairs here. And the prices are just slightly higher then big stores, but way more convenient.
If you need assistance for anything remotely complicated ask the more "mature" staff. The youngsters are nice but not super experienced.

This is my first stop when I need hardware and fasteners, especially specialty bolts. I can usually find what I need, and the friendly, local faces are always ready to help 😊

Was very professional and meticulous in hus work. Pointed out issues before proceeding.  Christopher was great. He even called to let me know the previous job was taking longer than expected and that he would be late before his scheduled arrival time so I knew he would be late instead of me wondewhere he was. I very much appreciated this.

Patrik came back again to fix more items. He's very knowledgeable, kind and helpful. Goes above and beyond... Listened to me and my wants. I am very comfortable with him in my home.
