SORRY EXCUSE OF A STORE...This store is an absolute joke!!! Been out of some items for months. Who knows if they'll actually have what you went in for. Employees claim they have no control over what is delivered to the store. So Dollar General  just sends random stuff to the store? WHAT A JOKE!!! Shelves are empty more times than not. Almost a waist of time going there. Better off going to a different location.

They only had 1 of 2 items that I wanted.  Told me that they would have it for Memorial Day.  It does me no good when I need it for the grave flowers, for my wife's grave for Easter.  Then they wonder why people go to Wal-Mart.  It is because they!  have what I need.  The only thing is they are a 30 mile round trip/2 gallons of gas as DG is only 6 miles.  But when they don't have what I need it is a trip and gas wasted.

The two exceptional men/clerk's were knowledgeable and very helpful. Unfortunately, the clientele were very rude to them and the clerk handled it well.  Job well done to the both of you!!

Absolutely horrible!!!! It is so messy and unorganized. Half the isles were not even shoppable because of large carts of unopened boxes. Messy, dirty, unorganized.

It is exactly what you would expect a Dollar General Store to be. Often you will find items  still in the boxes waiting to be stocked to the shelves for the most part they usually have all items in stock. The employees are friendly and helpful although on one occasion I did encounter a very rude cashier. There seems to be a high turnover rate of employees for some reason.

Lifeway Mobility

I couldn’t be more pleased with the work that Dave did to build my garage steps!! Every time I go up and down them I am so thankful to have safe stairs now. I also appreciated The pleasant and wonderful communication I had with Dave. You have a terrific person representing your company. Many thanks 😀

Lifeway Mobility refashioned our bathroom installing a wonderful walk-in shower area. The installing technicians were with us 8 hour a day for a week. Dave and Justin were hard working, courteous, kind and patient the entire time. A fine team!  A good job! A nice new shower!  Thank you Lifeway!

The install crew, Matt and Miguel, were just wonderful to watch and my wife and I enjoyed their profession demeanor.  The work site was protected at all times and was flawless cleaned.  They also worked hard to make sure we were comfortable with using the chair before they left.  Thanks also to the office who kept in contact with us as soon as the contract was signed and we appreciated being updated as the assembly took place and eventually delivered to us.  Finally, our salesman , Dylan gave us a very "no pressure" but informative discussion about the Bruno chair system. And although their bid was competitive to one other bid we received and really liked, their were two differences from the other bid that made the difference.  The first was that no yearly inspection by the dealer was suggested; Dylan stated that once the Bruno lift was installed we wouldn't need to see them again unless something broke.  And two, they were the only company that stated, that a State of Minnesota inspection is required.  Due to changes brought about by Covid, the inspection was done through a video visit with the inspector, with the guys showing their work to him through the video link. Finally their warranty was just a little bit better than the other guys.  We certainly, I am sure, would have been happy with the other bid, but I am glad that we used Lifeway instead. We had two things done to our home. We had a stair lift put in and we also had a wooden ramp. We couldn’t have been more happy and pleased with the work and craftsmanship they did. The ramp is beyond beautiful and the stair lift fits perfectly in our home. They did everything in a timely manner and were very professional. We are truly grateful and would recommend this company to anyone and everyone! Our daughter loves it and so do we. Thank you all SO much!

Our ramp was installed and removed today. It was a beautiful ramp, and my dad enjoyed being able to go outside, watch the birds, breathe fresh air. You made his dying days much nicer. Dan and Zach removed the ramp so efficiently. They work as a seamless team, and the front of the house looks just like before. Thank you, Lifeway Mobility. I highly recommend your company.

This place... we have a love-hate relationship. The prices are good. But the place just gives me anxiety. It's so hard to navigate. It's worse than a thrift store. But when you are looking for a 1 off item or they have a clearance sale, you can't beat the prices.

Great prices and decent selection. But in the past couple months quality has gone down and prices have gone up. Still a fabulous store with great deals.

Great deals, good choices, lots of things that are unexpected from a store this size. I like the variety and choices you have when you shop here. I will tell you, if you find something you should buy it though, they may never have it again. It is a true discount place that can run out and you won't see it again. It's a good place to go with no agenda. Just let the items flow over you and grab what feels good.

I absolutely love this store!! How is it that I am just now finding about it?! Tons of options to choose from price, size and variety wise..I could spend all day there.and then some.

All Seasons Wild Bird Store

Love this store! The staff are so joyful, personable, and knowledgeable.They have helped bring so many different birds into our backyard! Highly recommend their seed mixes, poles, and feeders. The higher price is worth it for the quality & experience of the staff!

So much to say about how amazing this store is... Ann, the Manager of just 6 months has truly transformed this store. She knows each customer by name and is genuinely interested in making a personal connection with them. The gift items for Thanksgiving/Christmas are beautiful and affordable. You will LOVE shopping here! And, the bird seed is such high quality. The staff are so knowledgebale (Ann, Lin & Amy in particular). I have shopped here for well over 15 years and absolutely love going there.

They know their product.  They are helpful and pleasant while you shop the many nice things.  I’ve stopped on lately twice and was amazed at the selection of good things.  Cheap bird feeders do not last or do not work.  This store has fresh bird seed.  Their greeting cards are great for bird lovers.  I will be loyal to this locally owned, terrific store.

I was looking for a bird feeder stand and the person was very helpful describing what I could buy. As I said he was very helpful but I decided not to.. They do have a right wide range of birds seed and bird feeders. Prices are a little high, though.

Walmart Supercenter

I go to the check out counter that has clerks. They are always friendly. I enjoy talking with them while they are getting my groceries. It just seems like the world is in too big of a hurry so I enjoy stopping once in a while to actually have a conversation with someone you don't know.

Came in the morning at 5:30 I knew they didn’t open until 6. I seen them letting customers into the store as I walked in at 5:39 they had told us we can shop but we can’t check out until 6. As I am shopping people being seriously rude. Especially the lady in electronics with dark brown hair. Had an attitude but maybe you should be communicating with coworkers. Unpleasant visit and will not be returning. I understand that you weren’t open yet but you let a lot of customers in and you had no reason to have attitude with customers.

The store was clean, I found it well stocked, organized and I was able to locate what I was shopping for. Once connected, the store associates on the floor were friendly. I saw many working the floor and had to wait longer than usual for a locked/secure item. The employee who escorted us to the check-out area with our secure item was very friendly and cheerful. The staffed check-out lanes were minimal (3), I avoid self-checkout because of Wal-Mart's lack of customer trust extra step. It is not time saving to check myself out, only to be stopped, searched and receipt verified. Whether you like it or not, it's a search. Nearly every time I use self-checkout I'm stopped to verify a receipt. No issues have ever been found. There is no real time saved if I'm stopped. Their staffed check-out employee very obviously didn't want to be there. She was just rude and appeared offended that she had to check us out. Not a good visit.

Terrible store. Store department signs on walls and hanging look like they are hand painted and make you feel like you are in a bad thrift store. Pharmacy is in the middle of the store and is very inconvenient if all you are doing is picking up prescriptions for an ill friend/ family member. And like all Walmarts the checkout look and feel like cattle runs for loading onto trucks. Staff standing around directing people to use the self checkout and expecting you to be an unpaid employee and not even receive a discount for being a cashier ad bagger. You will be accused of theft as you leave the store because you are asked to show your receipt even if you have a human cashier work for you and ring up your purchase. Being asked to show your receipt means that they suspect you stole something and if you are not being accused of theft it is a violation of your right to privacy. Ask if they are accusing you of theft when asked to show it, when they say no ask why they need to see it then. And continue on your way out of the store. Terrible business practice by a conglomerate that buys poorly made products at the lowest price, sells them to you at incredible markup and considers you a thief when you leave their store.

Overcrowded, 10 or more employees in various points around the front of the store chatting and telling customers to use the self checkouts, 1 cashier with 6 customers in line. I was directed to use the self checkout and replied "why I don't work here". Customers enter a narrow maze system to scan, bag, and pay for their items themselves. It looks like livestock on a farm. And when you exit there is an employee that acts as if every customer is stealing, because he asks to see your receipt and checks what is in your bags. When I was asked for mine I asked him "Are you  accusing me of stealing something?" He said "No we just like to make sure everything was rang up correctly." Asking to check out receipts and items is accusing us and the cashiers of theft.

Steamboat Ace Hardware

Often visit Ace Hardware in Steamboat and thoroughly impressed. The staff are knowledgeable and quick to help, saving me both time and guesswork. Whether it’s home improvement or just a quick fix, they’ve got you covered. Leaving the store, I felt more empowered to tackle my projects. A well-deserved five stars.

Ace is pet friendly, our dog Jazzy is always running to get treats from Ace. They have a wonderful dog section and all the staff pet her and hand out dog treats. Ace also has a wonderful selection of local items if you're looking for a gift. They offer free popcorn and coffee. The staff is friendly and very helpful when looking for specific items.

Alex was super helpful and went above the ordinary, to help make sure we got the items for our home fix. Much appreciated and great selection of home goods.

They carry the products we love but sometimes don’t have the selection we need.

Ridiculously high prices, verging on obscene. If you don’t mind paying two to three times what you would pay over Lowes retail prices this is your place. They should at least give out free Vaseline at check out.

DICK'S Sporting Goods

I bought ten golf bags for clubs at this store and received excellent customer service. Even though my purchase may have seemed a bit unusual, the staff remained helpful and attentive. I appreciate their assistance and would like to thank them for their excellent service.

It was a busy Saturday...However,  Brian from the Richfield, Mn. store was great! He showed us all the different treadmills in stock and was very knowledgeable about each one...

They have everything for every sport! This place is HUGE! FANTASTIC service here as well!

This was one of the worst retail experiences I've had. I was shopping for fishing gear. 75% of the items are not marked. I was there for an hour and was only asked if I needed help when I was on my way out. I understand why places don't mark items with prices, but if you don't have the staff, they need to provide places for customers to scan items to check on prices. Even if there was an employee, do I really want them scanning every random lure I'm curious about?  Not really.

I ended up using my phone to look up the prices in items, which ended up being a good thing. I scanned the part number and found it from another retailer for 60%. I'll be going there to buy the rod and reel.

Place was full of suburban moms outfitting their kids in overpriced jackets. Staff were not helpful beyond pointing me in the general direction of Carhartt products. Did not have the work wear, only the trendy stuff.

We had good help getting shoes to try on.  Check out cashier was very friendly  and helpful.

Ace Handyman Services Twin Cities

Jason was punctual. He set to work promptly when tasks were described.
He demonstrated excellent trouble shooting skills when installing a tricky ceiling light fixture.
I appreciated his input on assembling & creating a new rack for coats.
Jason also did an excellent job building a storage cabinet.
I'm pleased that all these tasks were completed b4 Christmas!

From stopping by earlier for estimate through the job, Mark was friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to answer any questions I had.  The railing on my front steps was rickety; the person who originally put the steps/railing in used nails in place of bolts where it needed strength; as well as a few steps needed to be tweaked.  I have osteoporosis and the railing the way it was was dangerous if it was needed to assist me  on the way up/down.  He also powerwashed everything.  He only used new pieces where needed,  which you don't see this nowadays.  Everything looks brand new and strong.  Since Mark had a little time after project was done, I got his input as to possible things to tackle next year, which I appreciated.   Thanks again!

From start to finish Ace Handyman and Jason did a great job on estimating and repairing my basement from water damage. In addition, I had them install a sheet rock ceiling.  Jason did a phenomenal job on the new ceiling furring out the joists installing the new sheet rock and doing all the mudding taping, sanding, painting, himself.  It looks awesome and I actually gained some space over my drop ceiling height. He also installed  new LVP flooring throughout and on my stairs. In addition to installing new baseboard in the space and repairing some damaged walls. Jason has an incredible work ethic and doesn’t stop until the jobs done.
I am so happy with how everything turned out!  Highly recommend Jason and Ace Handyman.

Mark did a fabulous job of caulking our bathtub and sink. He also took some extra time to regrout some of the bathroom tile that needed it. This was not necessarily expected but just an example of how he went above and beyond to make sure the bathroom looked its best. After all his work, the tile looks as if it was just newly installed. I can’t say enough about his skill level and willingness to help. He was also a pleasure to work with.

Mark was nice, but didn't really know, at first, what was needed to fix on my toilet.  He then says loudly, THERE IS A PROBLEM HERE.  And when I came it to see, he said my toilet was loose and that the valve handle was missing.  I said we needed to focus on getting my toilet to flush properly.  So, it seemed like a scam to get me concerned about a loose toilet, which I still don't even see this (does not act loose at all for me).  Scare tactics are not professional.

Also, when I scheduled this appointment, I was told all drivers had "fully stocked" trucks. Mark had to leave and go get both the toilet and insulation parts.  It took a longer time to do the work, due to this.  So, I feel duped from both parts of this business.  Therefore, no stars.

In response to Handyman Services response....my toilet is not wobbly nor did he show me that water moving due to this.  THAT is the duped part -- it is not true.  The only issue with the toilet is what Mark only 1/2 fixed...with new flusher and other part, but it is not satisfactory at all as he never fixed that it is SUPER HARD TO FLUSH STILL.  That was the initial problem, which I still have.  So, that is why this poor review.  You just tried to defend everything from your end.  Where is your guarantee and customer service?  It isn't corrected.  I paid you in full, but have the same issue with the toilet.

Ace Handyman Services Minnetonka

Rob is such a great guy and super hard working. Great sense of humor too! He added stairs to our existing deck. His attention to detail is so appreciated. We highly recommend and will use for future projects!!

Rob came out to scope out the job of fixing up our old and hideous basement stairs. I didn’t really know how to fix the stairs — replace all the treads and risers? Install vinyl caps on top of the existing stairs? — so I wasn’t even sure what it was I was requesting, other than “make these stairs not look so terrible.” Rob recommended the vinyl caps. He told us exactly what to buy and how to prep/demo the existing stairs, and then he came out and gave our stairs a beautiful facelift! He also did some extra stuff that we hadn’t even thought about, like driving in some extra screws to get rid of some of the squeaking. He was efficient and friendly too. We will definitely hire Ace Handyman services for our next project.

Chris is courteous and very skilled. He fabricated and replaced very complex trim using PVC rather than wood (which had rotted). He did a fantastic job!

The job was to install a pre hung exterior door. Seemed straightforward but apparently not for our installation. I felt kind of bad for the older gentleman and had to help him with some of the lifting and positioning. I’m not sure if he was given proper instructions by Ace Handyman Services but he seemed a little confused about the job.
I had to leave for work and my wife told me he took 6 hours to get the job done @ $120/ hour! Trash and service charge brought this up to $955. Seems excessive but the going rate. The trim board on the exterior side of door looked horrible like it had been installed by a amateur. It took me a hour plus of my time to make it look acceptable.
We recently had a full sliding glass door installed by a single installer from Crew2 and it took him half the time and the workmanship was amazing.
Another negative of Ace Handyman is they were all over me to pay immediately. Just a overall bad experience.
Avoid them!

I was overly impressed with Chris. I had 3 very unique jobs and he accomplished all three.  He was very knowledgeable, has great critical thinking skills and found solutions, he knows carpentry, patios, and construction. He went above and beyond.    I will defiantly use this service again and request Chris specifically.  Great service.    Can’t thank you enough - being a single person who has no help, this service is amazing.
