Generally a great hardware. They actually have a nut/bolt/screw department - which is an amazing thing for we 'do it yourself ' people. Prices are a little high, but it's a very convenient store!

Weird staff. Lady followed me down an aisle , asked if I needed anything, and then proceeded to tell me she had to take my backpack because they'd lost too many items. Implying that I was going to steal. Absolute textbook boneheaded high school dropouts working here. I workout at 24 Hour Fitness and have a bag sometimes. I don't see Karen chasing down other Karens in there with their purses. If I wanted to steal, I'd clear out more than a little backpacks worth of stuff. Awful service. I hope you do get robbed. Also, the store manager is lazy and just stood there watching it all. Awful service.

This is a review of their service center.  They've been repairing my lawn mower for 3 months, every time I call I get the same response, "It will be ready tomorrow, it's in the shop, we will call you when it's ready".  Come on.  Generally speaking I prefer Ace to other big box hardware stores.

Incredible customer service and selection! An employee went out to my truck 5 times to test nuts that I didn’t know the size but couldn’t get off. We finally got it sorted and it kept me on the road!

Went in to get a key copied and the associate at the service desk, Mark, COMPLETELY IGNORED me. 3 other customers came and went and he helped them, while I was standing right there. No eye contact, no words, no recognition of my existence. Another employee entered the service area and he too COMPLETELY IGNORED me. I left and will NOT return. This is a master class on how to loose business. I have never experienced anything like this. Other reviewers have indicated similar treatment. This cannot even be called poor customer service as you must first be recognized as a customer, not an invisible ghost.

Budget Blinds of Fort Collins

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. We've been blown away by the level of service and care that's gone into every step of the process with Budget Blinds. Dalton and Rosemary have extensive product knowledge and did an amazing job sharing about the best options for our needs and answering all our questions. The installation went great and all their staff were friendly, conscientious, respectful, and skilled. We had to install in phases due to some warranty work in our new build and they were patient and flexible with the timeline. The owner, Todd, even came out to make sure we were happy at final install. Everyone on this team is top notch and the product and experience was worth every penny. After a nightmare warranty process in our home, we've worked with countless vendors and subcontractors. Budget Blinds of Fort Collins shined in comparison to everyone else we've dealt with the past 18 months. Highly recommend.

From the initial contact scheduling an appointment,  to Dalton's vast knowledge of their product line and his expertise with measurement and installation concerns , the experience was seamless and beyond expectations. Dalton was exceptionally patient  in reviewing options and answering questions. Installation was flawless. Todd and the entire staff define how all service providers should interact with their clients.

Fantastic service, experience and overall quality! Dalton, the consultant was great (shown on the right).  He spent a lot of time showing us options, color choice and measured about 4 times just to make sure. That is actually one of the owners on the left there helping with the install.  I highly recommend them for blinds, shutters and more.

Initially, we priced out Budget Blinds simply to compare to Lowe's and Home Depot. We were skeptical as the name implies cheap materials and craftsmanship; the super 8 of hotels if you will. However, when we met with Bill, he quickly changed our minds. Bill, the owner, came to the house, with entire suitcases of swatches and samples in tow. He showed us our many options - various types of blinds, shutters, and other window coverings. He helped select the exact paint to have the shutters match existing trim. He compiled clear cut estimates for our different options and made the buying process the easiest of our upgrades. The shutters were built to his measured specifications at an off-site facility. The installers brought everything with on the day they said they would arrive. The install process was smooth, and everything fit perfect. The prices were significantly less than the big box home improvement stores, for the same style and manufacturer. Bill was great in following up to ensure everything was perfect. We only had one issue with the internal gearing going bad; to which they had a replacement ordered and installed expeditiously. After such a great experience, I won't ever go back to Lowe's or Home depot for any future window treatment needs.

Dalton was personable and extremely thorough with his recommendations and measurements.  He even took photos of shutters in his own home to show us how they would look from the outside.  We are very pleased with the products we purchased and will definitely be recommending Budget Blinds to other friends in need of those services.  Highly recommend!

Dollar General

Pretty extreme, phenomenal sunset, water has zero visibility and something big kept bumping my kyack, lake of the Ozark is the third most dangerous body of water in America,

Came here at 8:45 am, they open at 8 am, the store was not open when needed, this is unacceptable for this scale of business, hours of operation are set in place and should be strictly enforced! Other wise it's false advertisement which constitutes a lawsuit!

Stop at this dollar general a few times the lady Angela was so super nice always greeting an smiling very pleasant to be there other then the bathroom being messy an rusty toilet the store is good will shop again

Only issue being that this store is pretty unorganized.  Specific items you would expect to be near each other aren't, and I found myself searching.

The staff at this place is amazing. If they don't have what you're looking for they will try to get it in the store for you

ACE Hardware at Westwoods

Carlo is the man if you need anything in the grill section. He spent quite a bit of time educating me on the grills and helped me pick out the perfect Traeger. Great experience and will absolutely return when I need something here.

An older gentleman helped us find what we needed and he was nice untill he noticed my service animal and reached out to pet him so I told him my service animal was working and he kept trying to pet him after I told him to stop. They do not allow pets so it should be known if there is a dog in there it most likely will be a working animal.

Craig in the paint department is awesome! I went in 3 times today I  think with different problems and he was gracious,  knowledgeable and professional.  Really, everyone working there is friendly and helpful. Kingsoopers next door could use some customer service tips from Ace. Thank you!

Came here to pick up some Milo, grass seeds, and spreader. Tried to use my rewards coupon but manager said Milogranite is excluded. Ace website did not indicate this on their exclusion list. Incompetent manager refused to honor this coupon because he didn’t want to go through the hassle of re-entering my order. Save yourself the hassle and shop at the Golden location instead.

Had to replace 2 windows in a garage door. Cut to perfection in just  few minutes. Good service.

Walmart Supercenter

This Walmart is located in Wonderful Woodland Park, Colorado! It’s a beautiful location!

The staff is friendly. The lines are rarely long. Anytime the lines start to back up, they get more cashiers.

I had a tire repaired and was completely happy with my experience.

They have pick-up, so you can order online and grab your stuff, without the need for waiting in line.

I have been to my share of WalMarts in my life and this is my favorite one. It is clean, very well stocked, and the employees are really nice! They are always willing to help, they greet you in the aisles, and the Walmart Pickup experience is fantastic!!!!

The pharmacy is also great, Todd and Hugh are very nice and attentive, and they are quick to get people in and out.

Update April 2023:

With the new no bag policy Colorado has, I was wondering how pickup would go. So far this year it has gone pretty well. I meet the Walmart employee at the back of the car with my bags and let them know I will bag everything, so this frees them up to help others. Most of the time the employee leaves the bins with me so I can bag everything and then they check back at the end to take the bins back inside. It works perfect and I get to bag things in the order that I want to unload....so it actually helps!

Still a fantastic Walmart, especially grocery pickup and customer service! My go-to Walmart!

The produce is really good- I know that may be a surprise for Walmart but it is!

For a smaller town Walmart- there is a lot of variety of different kinds of food.

And the 6 pack of gourmet cupcakes....oh my....delicious!

Their garden center is a bit smaller than I would like and not as well stocked....hoping this will change next season. They have plenty of soil but I would like to see a larger variety of pots, gardening tools, and plants/flowers!

Have had to return a few things lately, and customer service is so quick and efficient! Great experiences with the return policy and process!

A few not so great experiences lately with employees however still gets 5 stars because managers reach out immediately when there is a concern to address it! Still top line with customer service at this Walmart location!

We went into the pharmacy and quickly found what we wanted! We walked to the back corner of the store for milk and then went to the checkout. We had a good checkout. You have to buy a plastic bag if you want a bag and soon Walmart in Woodland Park will not carry plastic bags anymore.

This is the only Walmart I have ever been to that had actual customer service. The ones in the Springs don't even try. An older man helped me find rope to tie a christmas tree to my roof and I was shocked.

ADR Roofing & Remodeling, LLC

Oscar and his team did an excellent job on my roof. I would recommend this company for your next roofing job!

I am a big fan of Oscar and ADR. We had one small hiccup and Oscar immediately came out to resolve the issue. I am very impressed with the professionalism and quality they provided. I highly recommend the ADR team! I will be using them again on another house soon!

Oscar & his team did an outstanding job repairing my roof. I was in a bind and needed it repaired before the next storm hit and he made that happen. Highly recommend ADR!

ADR installed my roof and gutters. Their quality and value was good. Responsive to issues that they were not responsible for to help me out.

Signarama Fayetteville, AR

I had the pleasure of working with Bobby Jackson and his team on an important project. He was incredibly helpful, finished the pull up banner we needed ahead of schedule, and it looked great! We will definitely be reaching out to Signarama again for our next project. Thank you, Bobby and team!

Signarama were so quick to get our sign up! They made the whole process so easy as well and very affordable for building signage and install! Any small businesses looking for signage in the area should give them a call. They have been a pleasure to work with every time I have had to call them. Not to mention, they printed a vinyl banner for us SAME DAY when our other (pre-arranged) option fell through AND delivered it on the way out of the office! If that isn't excellent customer service, I'm not sure what is!

The best around when it comes to customer service and quality. Chase is a true gem to work with. They can do Anything you can come up with. Truly appreciate having a local company like this in NWA.

Needed to get some graphics quick for a last minute fix for an inspection and Signarama pulled through!  They had same day service and we were able to get the graphics installed and pass our inspection.  Thank you!

The cost was a little more than some places I found online but they got it done quicker and for a better price then other places I called locally. My banner is good quality and I am happy with it.

Golden Ace Hardware

There’s a Home Depot 5 minutes away. Go there.

I’ve been in multiple times, and I think this is the worst Ace I’ve ever been to. I’m used to Ace being helpful and quick whenever I need something, but this one is neither. The first time I went in to buy a surface lead test and the lady at the counter took 5+ minutes inspecting the packaging and almost refusing the sale because she “thought part of it was missing” even though all the items listed as included were there and I was assuring her that they were (as I’ve bought the same product in the past and know what is included). More recently I’ve been in 3 times now trying to get a fishing license printed and each time am met with excuses. Not once has an employee (even the one that other employees claim is the only one that can use the licensing system) even attempted to help, they always dismiss me immediately.

Been going to Ace Hardware. My entire lit's crazy. They moved but I still go to. The staff is very nice. They're always very helpful even if they don't have it. They'll guide you in the right direction.

I went in today to get a bottle jack and wanted to spend some time looking around to make sure I didn't need anything else so I took my product to the counter so I didn't have to carry it around with me because of slipped disks. Mind you, it's me, a small white girl, with two grown men and a teenage boy in the store. The ONLY people in the store.

The owner (I guess?) and the other older employee started following me to the corner of the store and staring intensely and talking about me (to which I didn't realize most of it as I was just trying to browse) and then FINALLY confronted me that he HAD to watch me because he's had a problem with theft lately.

I get it. That sucks.

But don't make me feel uncomfortable when I'm in the furthest corner of the store from the door. Keep it to yourself like normal people who try to figure out if someone is stealing or kick me out. I'd rather chance being embarrassed letting you embarrass yourself for nothing, than completely uncomfortable. I almost bought the mace at the check out counter with some poor advertising about why I might need it.

The lady who helped us wasn't the friendliest & not a very good sales person. I wanted a Toro leaf blower & she claimed they didn't have anything Toro. But when I looked, they had a whole aisle of a Toro products.

Looking for hard to find paint. Spoke with "T" evening before after calling 10 ACE Hardware stores and he was very helpful.

Dillard's

Customer service department is so overly rude for no reason. I was simply trying to make a return and just ended up leaving because of her rudeness. I can certainly see why so many people shop online.

Dillard’s are my personal favorite. This is a huge one with good stocks. Although covid affected all business and shopping malls, this Dillards still looks pretty good in shape. I love going back.

Went to Dillards this week and visited Chanel counter.  Looked at Coco Madamoiselle cologne and brow pencils mainly.  Was told about the promotion of for every one hundred dollars spent, you get a 25 dollar reward to spend.  I took a picture of the display and told the makeup person I would come back and do this.  I went back today and intended to buy the cologne, brow pencil and a foundation to spend 200 dollars and get 50 dollars to spend.  I was informed that I had to buy by yesterday to get that promotion.  I was never told that and I feel the promotion sign was misleading.  They said the sign meant I could spend the extra money before May 14.  I had them put it back and will either watch for a new promotion or buy from someone else.  I have always liked to shop at Dillards and have their charge card but this was just so disappointing.

Visited Dillards and bought some clothing for my husband.  I want to brag on the young man who helped us.  I think his name was Bryce Rogers, a ban from California.  He helped us find exactly what we needed and made suggestions and was very friendly and professional.  I wish all the employees were as good.  Most of the time it is hard to find anyone to help or check you out.  Biden's America I guess.

I have to give a great review for John Lands i'n women's shoes in November 2023.  He helped with an order from the store that saved shipping because the item was not in stock at the local store.  I know Belk did this but did not know Dillard's also does this.  He was great as I took a while finding my charge card and he was very pleasant.  Not all of your employees are as nice.

Great store to find designer merchandise without paying the outrageous high prices!

Yesterday September 03, 2023 I spent a great day with my family at the Dillard's store, we visited the whole store, we made beautiful purchases, we tasted delicious dishes.

Dr. Drain

Five stars doesn't adequately reflect the tremendous job Jordan and his crew did on my project. I had a good sized addition project for my home that required a new tie-in to the main sewer as well as underground water and gas lines.  Jordan developed a plan to directionally bore under my existing garage to run a new sewer line, and directionally drill to run the required water and gas lines.
Jordan and his crew were fantastic to work with!  It was such a comfort knowing that I had the right company for this project.  Everything was completed above and beyond my expectations.  I wholeheartedly recommend Jordan and Dr.Drain without hesitation.

I've been a loyal customer of Dr. Drain for almost a decade, but recently had a terrible experience. I was having countertops replaced, and the company required that a plumber unhook and re-hook the sinks. I had a couple leaky shower faucets and thought I would have it all addressed at once. The quote I received for these jobs was $1745 ($385 X 2 for shower valve cartridge replacement, $400 for bathroom faucet installation, $275 for kitchen faucet installation, $300 for disposal installation). This seemed really high to me so I contacted the owner (who used to be the one to do the work at my house, and I was very happy with him) to confirm the pricing. He said those were standard prices, but kindly said he would cover one of the jobs for me. The disconnect of the two sinks goes fast; we schedule the tech to come back to reconnect them and do the other jobs. 1. The date we schedule turns out to be a day they are not working so we reschedule. Wait all day and the tech never shows. Somehow the appointment disappeared due to a "glitch in the system;" they try to reschedule me for a week later, but I push for earlier and they send the tech the next day. 2. He reconnects the sinks and installs the disposal, but tells me the dishwasher discharge hose is too short so he had to do something handymen but not plumbers would do, that I should make sure to be home when I run the dishwasher, and that they can't be held liable if anything happens -  but "it should be fine." 3. The tech works on the leak in the master bath but can't get the shower handle off. He needs to go get a new set of allen wrenches, so we have to schedule another time for him to return. 4. 4 days later, he fixes the leak in the other bathroom by replacing the cartridge, then is able to get the master shower faucet handle off. He fixes the leak just by cleaning off the parts, but then can't get the handle back on. He will need to get a new handle so will have to come back yet ANOTHER day. After he leaves, I realize he has forgotten to put in the new shower head I asked him to install. 5. The next day he installs the new shower head but then tells me the universal handle he got doesn't work. He will have to look around and see if he can find something, probably online while he is watching TV bc he can't spend hours driving around looking for one. I offer to look as well to try to expedite the process, but of course I have no idea what I'm looking for. We agree we will both look and stay in touch. Also, before he leaves, he asks if I still want to replace the cartridge in the master because if so, he will have to order it. At this point, I am so confused. If the plan the whole time was to replace the cartridge, shouldn’t he have ordered it already? Also, if he fixed the leak, why would the cartridge need to be replaced? I tell him no thanks. After he leaves, I discover that the new shower head that he installed is loose and spins when I take off the handheld piece.
6. I call the owner to discuss what is happening, as it feels ridiculous to me at this point. The tech has been to my house 4 times and the job (which I thought would be straight forward) is not complete. The owner is in support of the tech and says parts can be tricky to find, we might need to replace the valve which is expensive, and that I should be patient. 7. The next day, the tech leaves a voice mail saying he has called all of their suppliers, no one has the right shower handle, and I should call him back. 8. I am so frustrated that I call another plumber for a 2nd opinion. He reattaches the handle and tightens the new shower head in less than an hour, without needing any additional parts or special tools, for less than half the price. 9. I contact the owner to discontinue the job. He doesn't charge me for anything in the master bath and comps me $250. I appreciate the gesture, but the whole experience was such a disaster and so expensive that I won't be hiring them again.

They did a trenchless water line repair for me.  Minor snags were encountered that were not their fault, and were dealt with perfectly.  Jordan, the owner, was on the job the whole time, and is a real pro.  In addition, it's great to know that as a customer you are dealing with the owner directly.

I can't speak more highly of my experience with Jordan at Dr. Drain. My boiler quit working so we were without heat and hot water for several days with a cold snap coming. My boiler is 17 years old. The first two companies I had come out and take a look told me that it would be pricey to repair bc the parts are hard to find given this boiler is no longer being made, and because of it's age, they strongly recommended I invest in a brand new boiler system.  The cost of doing so is incredibly high so I thought I'd get one more opinion.   I had a friend tell me about Jordan and Dr. Drain as he had replaced her whole system 3-4 years ago and she spoke highly of Jordan.  Not wanting to pay another weekend trip charge, I called Dr drain and left a message on Sunday saying I hoped someone could contact me on Monday and come to my house asap.  Jordan actually called me back on Sunday to get a little information about the situation and my boiler and he said he'd come out on Monday. He did and incredibly, he said he thought the boiler was not only fixable, but that he thought with the proper replacement parts and maintenance it could last another 5-10 years!  Now granted, that of course remains to be seen, but the immense relief I felt about a less than $1000 total repair bill to spending over $20k on a new system is almost immeasurable.  Jordan was personable (he likes dogs so that's always a plus), direct, efficient and genuine. I am so very thankful for this experience and I will be using Dr. Drain for all of my future plumping etc. Issues going forward. Thank you Jordan.

We recently had a water heater leak and called the installers from 6 years prior, Dr. Drain.  To make a long story short, the leak  was not caused by a failed water heater, but a failed pressure reducer.  Brett from Dr. Drain, in consultation with Jordan the owner, diagnosed the issue over the course of a few days and eventually replaced the pressure reducer.  This saved us from a potentially much more disasterous home repair.  Brett was an excellent communicator as he worked through the differential diagnosis and competent technician.
I highly recommend this small business.
