I was looking for my husband for a certain filter type thing ( LOL ) for our faucet and it was a young nice looking guy who helped can't remember his name but bless his heart he tried to fit every item in that area but my faucet is weird so I'm not surprised they did have it but he was kind about it. The lady at the register was really nice & welcoming too.

Good hardware selection, and this is the only place we'll go for paint. They stock Benjamin Moore paints but can match any other color, and they're insanely fast (no waiting at the counter for 10 minutes like at the big box stores). Staff is helpful and friendly.

You know, it’s the little things that bring you back! From the little pieces of a broken faucet you desperately need for repair, to the simple “hello” when you walk in the door - they just do it all well. And I can’t remember the last time I was in there and someone didn’t ask me if I needed help finding anything. It’s a local gem - about the only thing that could make it batter was I f they served coffee or popcorn (or both).

Kealie and Brian helped me, and they were awesome 👌🏾 As soon as I walked in, Kealie greeted me so nicely and asked if there was anything I needed. I showed her the nut and bolt my husband asked me to get. She said, "Go down to aisle 7 on the right, and someone will be right with you." I wasn't there more than 30 seconds when Brian walked around the corner and helped me get exactly what my husband needed. When Kealie checked me out, she was very patient and we had a good conversation. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes.

West End Ace Hardware

I’ve always gone to this Ace when I’m in a pinch and need something right away. All of the staff is incredibly welcoming, kind, and helpful.

I had to wait 5 minutes while the only clerk put batteries in a flashlight for another customer. The customer asked the clerk if he wanted to check me out. The clerk said no and kept inserting the batteries for the customer.  Finally the same person who helped me get the things I needed came back to the counter and told me that if I had credit or debit he could finally check me out. I had planned to get some lawn bags but it was too heavy to hold and I saw no carts or  baskets so I completed my $4 transaction and vow not to return.

I am always surprised by the things that ace hardware carries in west in. Usually they have what I need, particularly in regards hardware. You will pay a slight premium however, it’s worth it, not only because the service is excellent, but because we need to support our local businesses.

Sometimes I tend to forget Ace is just around the corner from us perfect when we're in need of a quick fixer item instead of taking that long drive e to home depot or Lowe's  for small items

Love this place staff is always helpful knowledgeable and friendly.

Shep's Midtown Ace

Although helpful, wasn't the type of sales associate l was use to, l felt so uncomfortable l wanted to ask for something else but decided not to, it was around 4..maybe time to get off, lve lived in the area 14 years..this wasn't the first time..it gives an uncomfortable feeling, they're rep representing Shep.

Nice selection of supplies for an in-town home improvement store. You’ll pay premium prices for everything— absurdly so, and not even competitive with other local alternatives. Also, they don’t take United States legal tender. Strange, really.

Zack wouldnt even donate a flower pot. He has no interest in the community who spends their lastin his store. No donations no customers.

School of Rock

Fantastic place to bring kids that want to learn to play an instrument and be part of a band.  From first day picking up an instrument to teenage rockers, the teachers are excellent with every level.  The end of year show is so much fun and I was so proud to see my daughter playing her guitar on stage.  The staff is so friendly and helpful!  Highly recommend!!

We absolutely love SOR Johns Creek! The programs are well thought out, our daughter is thriving! She worked on vocals and drums in one summer camp week and performed in a showcase doing both!!! We were floored. She has learned so much about music at SOR. We absolutely love TJ and the whole team!

I appreciate that my children have the opportunity to interact with different coaches, experiment with various instruments, and play music as a group! The future opportunities for performances will keep them engaged, challenged, and interested.

My 11 yr son has been taking private guitar lessons for almost a year now and attended a week long summer camp. He's loved both programs so very much and it has been so great for him. He finally found his "thing" and I must thank his teacher Jack, personally. My son has only great things to say about him and he really looks forward to his lessons every week.

I walked in unannounced with my family to inquire about lessons and camps. TJ was very informative, patient, professional, and kind. Although from the outside the establishment looks very small , he gave us a tour and Iwas surprised to see so many young people learning music. Everyone looked very happy and the staff was very engaged. I'm looking forward to signing our family up.

East Point Ace Hardware

This replaced the old store. I think I like the older store better. Workers were friendlier and more helpful.

The new staff.. kinda stiff. Seems like their paycheck is their only motivation. I don't like the new store.....zero bargains.  It seems overpriced.

The live garden plants are competitively priced....generally the plants are healthy.

This store is always clean.

Extremely clean, lady up fronts kinda not more than on people friendly. But they have a great selection.

Intown Ace Hardware

One of my favorite plant shops! There’s such a variety, and they’re healthy and big! It’s always so fun dropping by.

I assumed ACE hardware was only a hardware store, so feel my astonished face when I stepped into the plant section! The selections are incredible, the employees are friendly and knowledgeable, and parking is the easiest this part of town. If you have a question about plants, just don’t ask the cats, they are normally in the zone and aren’t helpful.

Really disappointed with the constant false advertisements from businesses. Trying to sale customers in to getting something when advertising falsely the prices. Sign clearly states $24.98 a box. At the register however its almost $60 a box. Please move your sign to the proper product.

Holy cow! PLEASE visit this location and browse the plant section. It’s absolutely incredible. From the arranging of the plants by sunlight preference to the assortment of indoor/outdoor pots, (this) Ace is the place!

Great place to find indoor plants, especially specific calathea and philodendron varieties you might not find in big box stores. They also have a section for air plants ($4.99-$19.99 depending on size). I probably wouldn’t buy the more common houseplants here (monstera deliciosa, philodendron brasil, golden pothos, etc.) because they’re a little more expensive than they would be at a Home Depot/Lowes, but great selection if you’re looking for something less common. Also, found some really cute mini cactus/succulents for $1.99-$4.99.

Paul Davis Restoration of North Atlanta

Great experience and would definitely use again. Tannia and Joe were quick to assist and followed up at every turn. Would use again and have already referred to friends and family. Truly a great experience after the water damage destroyed our basement.

Paul Davis was assigned to manage the mitigation and renovation of our home after a leak inside of a wall. Every person that I have worked with from Paul Davis has been amazing! Very knowledgeable and professional at every step of the process to this point. Kurt, Marquis, and Jordon are the best! I would highly recommend Paul Davis of North Atlanta to anyone.

Nightmare experience working with Paul Davis. We were assigned a PM who was new to the area and he was left to find his own subs (which he didn’t know any since he was new to the area). He said that other PD PM would not share their subs, so it made it a challenge to get a simple job done in a  timely manner. Our project continued for over 4 months. We asked PD not to send a specific contracting group back out (Erick) and they sent them back out to repair the cracked tile in the bathroom. Erick tried to repair the floors 3 times before we caught it on Ring camera that they were sending a guy back that we had specifically asked not be allowed to return to our house. The floor was never repaired adequately, but we cut ties with PD & had a local guy we trust repair the floors for us instead. Would recommend people steer clear from this group unless you’re looking to manage your own project because you will find yourself doing just that but paying PD a high premium to not do quality work.

Paul/Davis Restorations was easy to work with. While there were problems, we were able to work through them without difficulty. Of note, Ana, the pack out and pack in supervisor worked hard and did an outstanding job. When Ana finished cleaning the house was immaculate. Her efforts to get things done right out shown other Managers, including her boss who never returned a call. In the end, the work done to restore my property was acceptable, but in my opinion, not perfect.

The ceiling collapsed in one of my bedrooms because of a leak in the roof. The Paul Davis team was awesome. From the project manager, Richard Rosario down to the final finish. The roof was replaced right away. The cleanup was amazing, Marquis was easy to work with when his team came in and cleaned up the mess. Nick did the drywall, painting and carpet replacement. Awesome job. Thank you Tray Lockridge for your initial consultation. I am so pleased with the work 😊.  Here are the before and after photos.

Ace Hardware of Toco Hills

Excellent product selection, helpful staff, and lots of eateries within walking distance for after I've finished with my errands. They helped me out in a pinch to find the exact color stain I needed for my floors. This is a very reliable Ace, with solid customer service

Thieves with bad advice. Came here at 2PM on a Saturday. Asked front cashier for anyone knowlegeable about Central AC. She directed me to someone at aisle 9.

Told the person I was directed to I needed a multimeter to test for bad capacitor on central AC. She directed me to the multimeter aisle. Was unhelpful in recommending a particular multimeter, told her I would buy the most expensive model assuming it has the most features.

Brought it home and realized the Ace-purchased multimeter cannot measure microfarads which is what I needed for the job. Brought back to Ace and was told "we cannot accept the product return in this condition" as the plastic packaging was torn because it is the only way to open.

Bad advice, frustration-inducing packaging and refusal to accept return of products purchased less than an hour prior. Avoid like the plague.

Edit after owner response: I just want you guys to abide by your own return policy and give me my money back, man. ACE web site states:

Nowhere does the return policy state "return must be returned unopened in original packaging". The multimeter itself was undamaged. Feel free to DM me if you want to make this right, I will update this review if a refund is offered.

Everything here is sincerely overpriced.  And the orca goth check-out person couldn't care less about her job.  She did not greet me when I entered, couldn't help me when I needed to find something, and wouldn't get off her phone to check me out when I was trying to pay. No eye contact, no acknowledgement, nothing. It was like I was interrupting her day just being there.

Very kind people. I walked in and they asked me what I needed. I told them what I was looking for, they told me where it was, and I was out of there with no hassle. Great place.

What a Great Ace Hardware this has become since Mark, the owner has taken it over and I have lived in the neighbor over 45 years now.    Phillip is Mark's  General Manager and is an excellent Manager. Briefly, I want to share a recent very positive experience I had at this Ace, especially  high lighting two valuable associates, Ann and Kim
I had an absolutely crazy project last week attempting to strengthen some legs on three bar stools that my wife wanted to reupholster for our daughter and our two soon to be 6 year old Twin Grandsons who live in Northern Virginia.

When I got to the store earlier last week, Ann immediately heard about my issues with the chairs.    By trial and error, it took several times back and forth to the store to solve the issues but all three of the bar stools are now very stable for two soon to be six year old grandsons to sit at the Kitchen Bar having their Breakfast each morning.   Ann was very patient as I came back to the store time after time.   In the meantime, Kim was also extremely patient in sorting out all the returned items I had.   The owner Mark of course helped me also during this process.   Phillip the Manager was very patient with me as I took time with Ann and Kim   It was truly a Team Effort.

I am absolutely sure  in the future, I will be adding more positive reviews about this Ace.   Many Thanks to this Neighborhood Ace Hardware.

Mountain Laurel Handrails

I enjoyed working with James. He was very helpful and super responsive to all my questions as we went through the process. The quality, beauty, and true uniqueness of the laurel railings he built for my rock stairs in the back of my NC mountain cabin exceeded my expectations.

Mountain Laurel Handrails are gorgeous and beautifully constructed.  The whole process to order was was super easy.  Delivery on site and installation was user friendly. Highly recommend

I can't say enough good things about Mountain Laurel Handrails and James Pader.  Not only are the handrails beautiful and exactly what we wanted, the customer service was also superlative.  James was very responsive when I had questions about measurements and installation instructions.  One of the rails was damaged in shipping and James immediately sent a replacement.  The handrails definitely add the perfect final touch to our tree house.

I submitted a CAD drawing with dimensions and angles. The railings were built to the specs.  We love the way they look in our cabin.

These handrails really set off the rustic look in our cabin.  I shopped around and although there are other companies that make a similar product, they were out of our price range.  I was so happy to find these.

As long as I've lived in Decatur, I can honestly say I've never been to this location before last night!
I few weeks ago, I received an email from Ace Hardware inviting me to their Ladies Night Annual event!
It talked about a swag bag and other items that were going to raffle off with the proceeds going to charity!
There was going to be live music, free food and drinks!
I was really looking forward to this because of a simmula event that I attended some yrs ago at a Home Depot!
I call myself  getting there an hour early to snag one of the swag bags!
To my surprise, it appears that everyone else was thinking the same!
There were so many people there!
This created long lines for food and the drinks!
The live band was interesting and entertaining.
I didn't get a swag bag, nor did I win any of the raffle prizes!
I will admit I had a very good time and I'm planning on going back this weekend so I can really take my time and shop the store minus the long lines and crowds of people!
I did have a fantastic time, and I look forward to next year's event!

These folks are the best! Very knowledgeable and pull in the right colleagues when needed. Love this store. Also, sign up for Ace Rewards- they send you coupons for cash off purchases almost every month. I much prefer going to this store over the big hardware stores and there’s been very few times they don’t have what I need.

If you haven't shopped at this Ace Hardware, you are in for a treat. It is such a pleasant experience. They have so many unique gifts. You can't beat the expansive garden center either.

I get what I need from Home Depot and Pike's. Mostly used this location for Decatur's trash bags and paper yard bags, but have since found another local business to source those. If I must use an Ace, I find the product selection and staff are really solid at Toco Hills location.

I was in the market for a new smoker and Mike and Brad at Ace made the process so easy. They gave recommendations and were not pushy at all. If you are looking for a great atmosphere where you can learn and buy what’s best for you and your family this is the place. I will be going back for any of my home needs moving forward.
