Intermountain Ornamental

After looking at a couple local businesses for hand-railing replacement, I decided on Intermountain Ornamental because they checked off all the boxes while emphasizing "no job too small" and I considered ours a small job. After contacting them for a quote, a friendly employee came out, took measurements, and we discussed replacement options.

The next day I had a quote in my inbox. I also received a call from them letting me know to reach out if I had any questions. My first reaction to the quote was that it seemed too low cost for the overall project. Maybe installation wasn't included? When I called to pay half and get things started, I was reassured that the quote was the total cost indeed. Also, I was told 3-4 weeks for the railing to be made.

Honestly, it was at the back of my mind until one day I came home and it was done. I had been at work and hadn't seen the voicemail which indicated they would be by that day to install the new railing.

Normally I'd prefer to be around for something like this, but seeing how seamless the new railing was installed made me happy. It looked great, including the sheen of the black powder coat and overall simple style. Other than the railing being replaced, I would have never known anyone was there, and I appreciate that level of respect to the surroundings.

Overall my experience with IO is that my expectations were met and exceeded.

All I can say is -  If it wasn’t for the installer’s they would have gotten a one star review from me. Thankfully the installers made it better so I gave them a 3 star.

Long story short after a long 8 week wait due to Covid- (understandAble) We were supposed to get our railings installed on the 15th. ‘MID JULY so they said.

When I called a couple days prior to see if we were even on the schedule for installation  one of the ladies that work the front office- The same lady that took my money and gave me a receipt had NO idea where my railing order even was because the guy that did our estimate retired.

After 6 phone calls and a couple emails later, They promised to do an express shipping and have them installed a week later on the 21st. Which was Much appreciated-

Unfortunately the communication from consumer to customer sucked,  The associate we worked with used the terms I don’t know a lot & Not to mention had no idea what was even happening in that office. Seriously disappointing.

So be for warned.

This is where they are getting a better review from me. The installers were Fantastic! They arrived on the 20th which was one day sooner then promised. They were quick, Friendly and very professional: Unfortunately one of our railings were way too long -which just added fuel to the fire, but they made sure to let us know that they would have it installed by the next day.

However!

They went way beyond there job title and they actually had them installed a couple hours later that night. So They were AMAZING and I’m very thankful.

I’m not sure I’d recommend this place to anybody, but in the END I am satisfied with my product because it really is Beautiful.

I had a very pleasant experience with this company. The sales man showed up on time and was very friendly, even helped me decide what would go best with my exterior. Once I paid my deposit I was given a timeline for my railing, and they delivered a few days early. it is stunning on my deck. I love it. I will for sure use this company on my upcoming spiral stairway and fence project! They do great work, and have great customer service!

At first we were excited to work with this company. However they ended up taking months, as in 5 months, to install our project. Then when they did it was partly wrong, as in not what we asked for. I called many times and asked for updates and often they didn’t get back to me. We were nice and respectful through all of this. Then when payment was due they were very demanding and rude. How ironic! I would never recommend.

In 2018 we had a new back porch put on with new hand rails and they came out and gave us a quote.  They installed a beautiful hand rail matching it with the rail we had in the front which was installed by a competitor.  The rail in the front was already showing signs of corrosion so I asked them to re-powder coat our rail around our front porch.  They did a great job.

I had a great experience with ABC seamless. All the way from consultation to the installation. I'm very happy with the way my gutters and gutter guards look and function. Everyone on the ABC team was very friendly and easy to work with, I highly recommend them!

Recently had our new siding installed. The installers were on time every day, and always very professional and efficient. My wife and absolutely love the way our house looks.

Glass Doctor of Columbus, MS

After cutting the glass to small the tech tried to fill the extra inch in with caulking and spent 45 minutes trying to convince us that the window looks good. He then told me it would cost me more for them to cut a new piece of glass and redo the window. After taking to his supervisor, who he requested I not call, the techs came back and put a new piece of glass in. The pictures speak for themselves when I say they did a horrific job.
Another window that they replaced is in a wood frame, they cut out my wood frame and caulked the window in leaving my window frame damaged. 5 windows in total were replaced for $1225 and the quality of work is consistent on all 5 windows.

Renee is great at the front desk. She explained any delays and kept me updated on progress towards finishing the window replacement in my car. The atmosphere is pleasant, and service was very fast. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended.

Had a stone chip that I needed to have taken care of. Went through my insurance company, USAA got the authorization, quick fix at the time that I needed it. Great team

I only use Glass Doctor. They do great, clean work with top materials.

Windshield replacement took less time than expected, curtious staff and overall great facility.

Amazing - on time, personable, and quick! Had everything up in about 30 minutes- has the right tools and explained where I might have issues and made recommendations. Had a TV put up and my key drop box outside hung. Would highly recommend and WILL use in the future!

They hung a 8’ x4’ garage metal shelf from the ceiling.  They quoted 3 hrs to be on safe side but it only took him an hour! Very happy! Thank you! I will be using them again!

Mitch did a wonderful job on our sun room. He  the replaced the rotted wood and painted it. He also suggested that we replace the rest of the baseboard next spring. I will be placing an order next spring to replace the rest of the sun room baseboard.

Very impressed! I messaged on a whim to see if we could get a sectional and carpet cleaning within a week, and they were able to come out the same day! The 2 person crew arrived on time with a text prior, which was appreciated. They were professional and efficient. I was amazed how quickly they worked while making our couch and carpet look great! Highly recommend and will definitely use you again in the future.

This was our first  time using Steam-It. The young men were on time, polite, personable and very fast workers. They were thorough and answered my questions. They also gave me an estimate for the rest of my rooms before they left. Communication prior to my appointment was great.  I appreciated the text telling me they were on their way. Aire Serv Heating & Air Conditioning

Without any warning our water heater went out late on Friday afternoon. We thought we would have to go the entire weekend with no hot water, but we called Service Experts just in case. They came right out and saw the problem. Matthew Chard was our Service Technician. He was so kind and thoughtful the entire time he was working. He went out of his way to explain things to use and give us counsel on how we could take better care of our water heater and water softener. He had to redo all of the lines into the water heater which took a lot of work with pipes, fittings, etc. He was thorough, tested everything, and made sure we were in good shape. He even checked the gas valves on our fire places. Matthew did a great job. Would highly recommend him. We were very pleased with our experience with Service Experts.

Broke 2 appointments and my husband took time off to meet them. They stopped responding. After soliciting for business from us. Unprofessional.

I hate to ever leave a bad review, but I also don't like to see businesses take advantage of people. I called these guys and the first technician, Luis, tried to upsell me pretty hard. Charged me $450 for a cleaning of my central air unit that took him less than ten minutes in a rain storm. I could have blown the cotton off of the radiator myself for free. Brandon was great and I would recommend him. He told me he wouldn't have charged me for the cleaning because I was having the motor replaced. Glad I didn't do all of the other things Luis said needed to be done. They only get two stars because of Brandon.

I am long-time customer going back to when this shop was called Thompson and Sons Service Experts in 2000. Over the years, they have installed multiple AC and furnaces for me. Jeremy and Mourn installed a new AC unit in my home on 28 May 2020. They were both efficient and respectful and did a great job keeping my house clean during installation. I would highly recommend them!

Once again (my 2nd time) Ace Handyman Services delivered!!The Craftsman Tod was excellent!
This time I needed double curtain rods installed for 9 windows, a tool organizer installed in the garage, multiple heavy pictures hung & the HVAC air filter replaced in the attic. The time quote & the price quote were exactly what was expected! Thank you again! I will continue to use this service and recommend to my neighbors & friends!!!!

The quality of the work was good and the craftsman was very friendly. I had a couple drywall repairs and a brick repair. I was suppose to have my built in frame with lights removed from the ceiling and replaced with a new fixture. That part didn't happen. The craftsman said it would take two people. Before the visit I sent pics of what to be done and was told they would take care of it. So, it took five hours to do the other things and paid $$$$ but still not all the work done as requested. So disappointing.

I needed a ring doorbell installed, the challenge is I currently have no door bell or chime because my house was built in 1975 when intercoms were the mainstream. Not only did Ace provide guidance on finding the right size face plate to cover the 5"x7" space and it had to support the new Ring. Once Ace determined the intercom wires weren't hot we went to plan B to buy the rechargeable Ring unit. Tod installed the backplate and I was charged $75 for the trip and when I received the correct Ring, they were able to come back the next day and finish the job, the total cost was as quoted, $200, no $75 travel fee for coming back to finish the work. I've used Ace services twice and both times were great experiences, skilled and friendly people and reasonable costs. I highly recommend using them, I'm very happy!

We just moved into our home in Fulshear and we had ACE Handyman Services come to our home for several projects. Tod removed cabinets to prepare for the installation of a Murphy bed in our office. He then hung a banner rod in our exterior stucco and did troubleshooting of three ceiling fans and their switches. In addition, he checked our gutters and roof shingles to prepare for winter. We loved having a service that handles all of these different tasks and we felt their pricing fairly represented their value. We highly recommend ACE Handyman Services and look forward to working with Tod again once the Murphy bed is installed.

Bryan did a great job installing a exterior wall mounted flag staff, changing out batteries in our smoke detectors and lubricating our garage door wheels. He pointed out that the garage door wheels are somewhat misaligned, and we will follow up with a garage door company now that we know about this.

Bryan is a real pro and was a pleasure to work with.

I would use again and recommend in a heartbeat. Noon appointment and I arrived a few minutes early for a star on my windshield. Fixed and out the door by 12:11 PM. Wonderful to deal with.

We needed someone the next day and got it! The guy was there at on time actually earlier than we thought but that was perfect! We have some indoor/outdoor cats who are overly friendly especially the one who love vehicles and my cat was totally all over and he didn't seem to care a bit! I was just hoping they didn't bother him in anyway and he did not seem bothered a but! He was very honest with us and the windshield looks great! The prices was way cheaper than other in our area! We will be using this place again for our truck. Thank you!

Waited on another company for over a month, still not installed. Other company canceled on me twice. I asked for a quote from Glass Doctor online Wednesday night, got quote Thursday morning via text, scheduled, and installed Friday afternoon. Quick service AND saved over $80 compared to other place with a discount. Martin was quick and polite. Great tech. Took less than 30 minutes. Definitely would recommend again.

I had a great experience from start to finish!  Aisha, who answered my call, was incredibly knowledgable, kind and got me all set up for an appointment.  We had a commercial request to hang a gigantic whiteboard.  Their pricing was competitive and they were able to come out within a few days.  Mr. Randy and Mr. Nick arrived on time (actually a little early, which was refreshing), they were professional and completed the work quickly and relatively quietly, without disturbing our employees. A great experience. A huge thanks to the team at Puroclean. We had a car seat that we either needed deep cleaned, or new seat.
