VERY RUDE SERVICE!!! Held my 52 year old mother at the door over a receipt that didn’t print against her will with her belongings without a security guard, in the middle of covid, flu, stomach bugs, etc while her husband who has seizures was waiting in the car for her, they made a whole deal about it and watched cameras to make sure she didn’t steal 5 items (tape and wrapping paper) and wasted over 30 minutes of her time just to find out that she did in fact pay and they were holding her against her will with belongings that no longer belonged to Walmart but in fact did belong to HER. She tried to show them where her bank took it out of her account and showed it paid to Walmart and they told her that wasn’t good enough! And then when I called to speak to someone the lady transferring me to the manager could care less what I was calling about, argued everything I said to avoid getting me a manager and used the term “whatever” after she argued that we aren’t in the middle of Covid. This store is TRASH! They treat people like criminals when the store doesn’t even own the items after the fact of you purchasing them, what they’re doing is illegal.

The  cashier I had tonight was very sweet and did a great job with a few huge multiple families transaction for a program that was giving Christmas Gifts to Elementary School Students I was the last person of those transactions and  had a few items I had to get while I was there Shopping for my kiddos and she was still nice and very polite after all of that most cashiers are short and rude after that many people have been through the line like that

Lots of parking near lowes and home depo, off the main road so not to drive into or out of traffic. Parking lot was a great place to park.

I pulled into curbside pickup which was quick and easy. 10 minutes later I was headed home. BUT as I unloaded from car I found my two bread items, wheat bread and flour tortilla had been eaten through the packaging by what was possibly a rodent. Disgusting. Several food bags were placed into trunk and upon removing I noticed the damaged bread. how could Walmart not have noticed when they put it into my car. It must have happened in their pickup area as they awaited my arrival. Terrible. Gross. I must admit, overall I have a good experience with Walmart and the pickup

Prices are high, if you're shopping on a budget this year where you want to shop. My friend thought he rang up a fishing pole the guy didn't stop him to check his receipt before it got out the door and when he got on the other side of the doors then the staff came running because he had failed to check it himself correctly and accused him of shoplifting. They offered to go and pay for the fishing pole but they still called the police on my friend. If you want to make sure things are paid for appropriately then perhaps you should support the city that you're in and hire people to actually work cash registers instead of expecting us all to be able to bring things out all on our own when we're in a hurry and we have places to go and things to do. We don't have time to always stop and wait for your guy to run check our receipt, we don't appreciate being accused of shoplifting or seeing other people accuse the shoplifting because they failed to ring something up appropriately because your computer didn't catch it. This store is rude it is unfriendly it is not family oriented it may have lots to offer but if you're shopping on a budget it is not economical and you can never find the help you need unless they think you're trying to steal for something from them and then they're all over you. Absolutely hate shopping at the Walmart in bartlesville. Will continue to go to the one in Coffeyville Kansas and in Tulsa as you're not treated like a criminal there and they have so much more stock on the shelves that are budget friendly including generic foods.

Hooray, my first Walmart in Kansas and my first time back in this state since 2019. This was a quick stop for a bathroom break and to pick up some snacks. I found the store to be tidy, well stocked and clean. The cart corrals outside were mostly clear on a Sunday morning.

Inside, a few registers open but like most Walmarts they have swapped out more registers for self checkouts and "scan and go" checkouts. Clothing section was tidy and displays were folded properly. Front checkouts and islands were tidy and properly stocked. I had no problem finding what I wanted in the cold section. Self-checkout was quick.

Overall, a good experience at this Walmart.

Everyone knows my service dog Molly or at least make it a point to say HI!! Or they try to help me everytime I walk in.

Saw Mary today. Always love seeing her. Super sweet always helpful

Called up there asked if they could do a oil change for me dude says "yes not a problem im completely empty no ones here" i am literally less than 2 min away when i call then i get there i see 5 cars i go inside the other guy says he just got back from break and the guys been full all day no one knew what they were talking about i hate when a place cant just say we are busy  it wouldn't even matter if they were full but the guy said it would be about 3 hours before he could get me in what a joke

Very unsatisfying. There is no interaction between employee and customer thanks to self checkout, a lot of the price tags are inaccurately placed, and the little employee interaction you do get is a person asking to check your receipt. It's not what it used to be. It's honestly sad to see so little care for the customers. This is at most Walmarts, not just this one.

Love going to Walmart bc I can get food from the deli the prices are great the staff are so nice 10/10 experience

Shopping experience was good. Several employees said hi and good morning. Only thing I don’t like is when employees are stocking they place their carts in ways that cause you to have to go around or to different aisle. Not so much ch a complaint as a “something to consider” when dealing with flow of customer traffic.

This location has all sorts of problems. The theft tracker on the self checkout goes off for any rapid movement. Then of course it takes a while to get an employee. Then the machine struggles to accept a card which inevitably ends up working later. But being accused of theft and getting shown a video of you scanning the item that you were accused of stealing is enough to chase me away from any establishment. Not returning.

Relative to other walmarts, this one is pretty good. Their curbside pickup is extremely handy, and they've been helpful when they've made mistakes on our orders. It's one of the only places for groceries on the northwest side of town, and it's relatively clean for a walmart. Overall glad to have it nearby!

Went in for 2 new tires and an oil change. (Only 1 car in the bays  so not busy) 3 HOURS LATER they finally finished. I had requested the new tires to go on the front and they put them on the back. Went back into have them correct it, ANOTHER HOUR before they were done with that, and they forgot to put the hubcaps back on. Beyond frustrating!! Don’t recommend

Had to get a new battery for our Jeep. Called service at 7am and was told I battery and price for my Jeep and told to come down there showed up and Gabe wa there new nothing about the call and said person probably didn’t work in service. He found the correct battery and it was double the price. Was not able to schedule a time today to have it installed advised him would attempt to see if I had the tools for it. I got home and didn’t and called him he told me to come back and would get me in I waited an hour as he was swamped and had no help in his area especially after Black Friday. Needs more help. He took care of me and deserves help. Thank you Gabe. You are the best!

This store totally simplified a move from Cincinnati to Des Moines for my daughter, and me (helping her set up the apartment in less than 3 days). They had practically everything we needed (curtains, rods, shower curtain and rod, step-stool, shelves, extra towels and bed linens, mop/broom/vacuum, extra hangers, laundry basket and things we forgot in Cincinnati) and it was less expensive than I anticipated. The store was well stocked, especially with back-to-school/dorm/apartment items. It was very organized and neat (for a Wal-Mart). Check out was quick and efficient...because we did self check-out. My daughter has been back a few times since I left and has always found what she needed.

So I’ve been shopping at this Walmart almost since they opened……
The ice cream in the freezer section every time I go in is covered in thick frost, so I don’t think the freezers have ever really worked correctly.
The meat section always smells like something has rotted and never got cleaned. The pic I attached to this was of a ham sitting in the meat area.
I’ve had the oil changed and tires rotated at the automotive section….  they destroyed the lug nuts at my most recent visit, so I hope they didn’t do anything else to my vehicle……
I have complained to corporate, but nothing ever got done.

Dec 24, 5:51 pm:  I and a handful of other were stopped/denied access at the entrance of Walmart by Gage and and older man ( bald, glass, mustache). I asked for the manager: A TEam Lead came out , and seem agitated and overly assertive while addressing me the entire time.  I was surprised,  looking for the voice of reason, he was not looking to have any understanding or empathy.

I asked why he was denying access to customers. He said " I want the employees to be ready to leave by 6pm and go home"..     I told him that's fine but why not make the closing time 530pm?  He countered by saying " because you'd be having the same conversation".    I told him "this is a disservice to the customers who came here, relying on  Walmart to have enough integrity to honor the open-close time.

He then says " looks, we're closed". I replied " no you're not:look".   I showed him my cell phone, that showed Walmarts closing time (6pm) and pointing to the current time (5:55pm after 5 minutes of talking). " you are open Nathan but you're denying us access".  And I left it at that.

To the walmart leadership,  Please consider this hypothetical scenario:

Nathan needs get at the airline gate by 6pm, and he arrived with his family at 5:50pm, ( like everyone did today), and they told him they're closing the doors early.  Nathan and his family miss their flightdue to employee making executive decisions,  underminingthe integrityand poloce ofnthe company. .  I'm sure that wouldn't be acceptable....

let's say he goes to rent a car right after that. He arrives to the rental car desk at 5:53pm , and they deny him a car because they want to go home early.  Would that be acceptable?

The customer should have an opportunity to get their needed items based of the open/close times listed.  I told Nathan,  " all I'm asking for is empathy for these customers out here waiting". He counters again with " what about the empathy for the workers".   I say this respectfully, I have empathy,  but, it doesn't seem he has empathy for anyone that was outside.  Customers were happy tonight.

The head store manager was outside the whole time,and she didn't do anything to find a solution.

I strongly suggest there be refresher training fir the leadership regards to integrity, and not msking executive decisions that undermine the company i.e. honor the open-close imes.

Now I and other customers from Walmart are at their competitors store,  and they're keeping their doors open until the actual close time.
WALMART YOU ARE BETTER THAN THIS. .

This review is based 100% on Erin the person who greets you in WDM. She is professional, welcoming and an ideal first impression.  I will go to see her as opposed to the near by grocery opportunity.

Sick of this damn place. The delivery department lied about my items being on sock. End up talking to Mary for her to find my items to add them to chart for me to have to pay twice. Mind u I put my order in soon enough to have a free delivery. Then our conversation ends and now have no money for refund to go elsewhere or my items for the holidays. I'm a member too

I find target more expensive compared to Walmart but the quality is better.overall target has more healthy options in snacks and foods. I bought a sleeper sofa from target last time and it broke in 2 weeks. The return process was easy. Excellent sofa in comfort as it had firm seats and if it hadn't broken ,I would have brought another.losts of clearance going on right now ( Oct 15) but inflation has increased prices everywhere. Staff is polite and helpful.

They sold pride clothes for baby’s. Which is honestly In believable. They don’t even know how to talk and you are making pride stuff for them. It is not appropriate and you should never be telling your kids about being pride or encouraging it. Also. The devil made the clothes line. As a Christian I will not be shopping there because for one. The devil is a terrible person and selling clothes that support the devil is un reasonable. And for two being gay+ is a sin. I find that it is not ok to be gay but I won’t change my actions if you are. But supporting being gay at an age where they can’t even talk. And supporting the devil is not ok. I will not be shopping there anymore.

This has always been our neighborhood Target store. Overall, I usually enjoy shopping here, mostly just for fun. If I need something, it is usually stocked. There are definitely times the store seems wiped out and disorganized though, and that can be frustrating. Sometimes there aren't enough check-out lanes open, but I do self check-out when I only have a few items. I like the new Cartwheel app feature for coupons.

Store is a mess.  Employees are incredibly slow at the registers.  Takes far too long for them to scan items.  I mean 20 seconds between scans on easy things scan and  bag up.  It shouldn't take 15 minutes to scan 20 items!  Other employee are not friendly when you come across them in the store.  They ignore you when you are trying to find things.  I am very dissapointed in Target.  They have become a slightly upscale and I mean very slightly upscale Wal-Mart.

A pretty good Target. Really good selection of clothes. Staff were really knowledgeable and helpful when I needed something specific. Dressing rooms were clean, well maintained, and I'd even say felt kind of classy. They also had those cool backwards-close umbrellas that are hard to find!

At Home

Wow, this is a fantastic shop for buying household items. I am coming to this shop for the first time.  I was very surprised to see the products here and the prices are good. Lots of clearance items are also available. This is the best shop to buy gift items for housewarming. We bought rug from clearance with good deal. I love flower vases here those are very beautiful 😍. We can get variety of house decoration items. I like visit at home again another one fine day.

Super cute store! Definitely worth checking out for decor needs. I gave it 4 stars because some things are pricey and I found a sticker under another sticker....and the bottom sticker was a lower price. Wish I had taken a pic of that.

The ride on carts are always dead. Being disabled makes it impossible to walk around the store. Out of the ten times I have been there in the last year nine of those trips left me stranded in the store. Had to have stranger get me a new cart. That cart did not even make it to the check out. I left everything I was going to buy and left the store. Employees saw me struggle and did nothing.

Love the huge product selection & most prices are good. Wish they could staff a 2nd cashier to reduce long waits.

Trader Joe's uses a bell any cashier can ring so customers can tell someone cares and is calling help.  Best to come up with a way for everyone to know you are responding to the queue.  Just having a PA like Hy Vee puts everyone on notice help is coming, makes sense to wait instead of going home to order on Amazon instead.

Since almost everything in this store is made of plastic or some other cheap synthetic, the smell is overwhelming. After 10 minutes, you'll have a headache from all the off-gasing.

Most of the staff are very pleasant. Some are too talkative and spend too much time looking at products while they are scanning them, because they find them interesting. I often get double charged for an item so I always check my receipt now. And at this time stock is very low or out on a lot of items.

Just really going down hill in customer service all around. The employees are too busy chit-chatting to do their jobs correctly. the photo department can't keep orders straight and then still can't walk the photos to the front desk after "they couldn't find them". Super disappointed

The most truck-friendly Wal-Mart I've ever visited - there's even designated parking on the north side for maybe 15 trucks. I went inside to shop, and thanked several employees for giving drivers a place to park, and was told "We appreciate truck drivers", and that trucks are welcome to park overnight. I almost shed a tear. A stark contrast to many Wal-Marts across the country that are taking the opposite position, probably due to the small percentage of slob drivers that ruin it for the rest of us. This location is taking care of drivers - let's return the favor!

What I like is that it has parking for a big truck. If you park your big truck please be respectful. I don't want them to take this away from us. Great people inside. Nice selection of cheese. The baguettes are awesome. Angus beef, filet mignon, all kinds of fish. Thanks.

It's a great stop for truckers. Right next to a truck stop and they allow truck parking. They don't have Walmart's new microwave ready meals yet but the deli always has some great options

This is has to be the busiest WalMart in the state. Parking can be a difficult. It is pretty easy access off the interstate. Can be challenging to find an associate for help. They all seem to be in the self-checkout area.They have someone checking your receipt when you leave. I never stop though. They have cameras and associates watch as you check your stuff out. I never stop. I’ve used the curbside pickup and it was pretty fast. They usually have at least one option for what I’m looking for. Produce is pretty basic and not always the best selections.

I have never been treated so badly by a team lead! Was there Thursday around 530. And had a decent cart of things.  Waited in the self check outs and then after finally checking out. My bf was trying to use his 15 percent off coupon.  It wouldn't work. The cashier came over. Couldn't suspend my transaction so had to cancel it , she took me to her team lead.  All she had the audacity to say , many times,  you need to just go wait in the line. Said very rudely  I explained I already rung up everything, but it got voided , again she said you need to go wait in a checkout lane , if you don't like your job find another oe..  extremely rude!  Don't know her name but started with a C..  will not go back to that location. No reason to be disrespected, could of been more professional.. I was thinking of transferring to that location  but no thanks

my friend and i went there for a girls day prep trip and Timber was working the check out. She was amazing! usually people are sulky about self checkout workers but she made our day so much better from the amazing attitude she has! such a bright employee and it was much appreciated :)

They got me on 2 accounts! They never fix charges that they have charged the wrong card constantly!!!!! I have 1 leg and just had my big toe amputated and said I need to come into the store and they never have carts for me to use much less any one disabled!!!!

Very helpful Employees with great customer service. I’ve been to a lot of Walmarts and have not received customer service like I did at the Windsor Heights store, It also seemed pretty clean to me. I’ve seen a lot of other stores with trash all over the parking lot and trash inside the store and cluttered. That was not the case here.

I recently went in for them to replace all four of my tires, we had some problems getting the appointment set in stone and that wasn’t anyone’s fault but technology, I finally get my car in and I wonder around the store as I’m waiting for my car to be done. After the service I check my receipt and they charged me for TWO warranty’s that were NEVER discussed with me (it literally says on the back of my receipt ‘our promise to you, we won’t over charge or do anything without talking to you about it first’ more or less) causing me to pay out an extra $100 and they didn’t even use the tires I bought offline so they almost charged me for another full set, will definitely be going elsewhere for car maintenance from now on

Always have what I need here. Today I came to find some Christmas presents for my son. And got everything I wanted and more.

This store has REALLY gone downhill.  It's difficult to find anyone to help.  At least until you go to the check out.  SELF-CHECKOUT! Because there is very rarely an actual employee working a checkout lane.  Instead,  they stand around the self-checkout area in groups of 4-6, playing on their phones.  On the rare occasion that they pay any attention to the customers,  its to stand over your shoulder as you do their job for them while they get paid for doing absolutely nothing!!!

This store deserves a 0 rating. They are severely understaffed. The cashier's are so slow it seems they are trying to get the shoppers to self check out so they won't have to do anything. There is practically no one on the floor to help customers, and if you are lucky enough to find someone they act they are too busy. Wal-Mart needs to shape up and serve the customer better

This is the best Wal-Mart that we have shopped. Today, there were SO many employees stocking shells, so many employees offering assistance, so many employees appearing to actually enjoy their jobs. This is the only Wal-Mart I ever want to shop.

Run away! They carry the brand of pool we wanted and love the pool but, this Des Moines franchise is very unprofessional and don't stand behind what they say.

First of all everything we agree to in our pool proposal didn't matter if they didn't put it into the contract. So multiple things didn't get done or were at an extra cost. And somethings in the contract they refused to do. Contract said they would put back any fencing they removed, they didn't and I had to have it reinstalled after they wouldn't. No temporary safety fence was installed during project even though it was in contract.

Concrete was done very poorly and we were overcharged. We were told we would only be charged for what was installed once final layout is done at a price of $21 a sf which is $4 over other professionals in the area. First they needed extra money in advanced of the pour for thick edge to create a wall around 2 spots. They only pour a quarter of what was planned. Poured almost 100 sf less of the slab we were charged for. They were going to pour  slab on bare dirt in a lot of areas. We got them to hold off on pour so we could get it prepped properly and run drain pipe outside of slab which they had just buried half way across the patio to be poured. After we ran plumbing and worked on moving a lot of dirt and rock and sent pictures to the foreman the said they would fix the rest. Some things they did some they didn't. Patio pitches the wrong way so nothing we can do next to removing and having someone else do it.

Charged us for pool permit and then had us pay and pull the permit with city and didn't give us a refund.

Pool lights were to include electrical and transformer which we did not receive transformer had to use our own and had to supply conduit and run it our self for bubblers.

Kept being told someone would be by for chemical start up and balancing never happened till it was time to winterize the pool. So for the month and a half it was open we had to do all water treatment.

Company has very poor in-house communication one person says it will be taken care of, while another says it's not included even when it is in the contract.

Posting this I will probably not get any warranty work if needed on pool but can not believe anyone would do business this way. After all was done I have heard stories from other pool companies while seeking a service provider of other peoples problems. Really wish somebody would have posted them. To save us this heart ache.

Before you spend over $90K on a pool project talk with installed customers not service customers.

Prompt, professional swimming pool contractor!  Delivered on-time project and continue to provide excellent service after the install.  Have now opened a full-service branch that can take care of all of your pool needs.  Highly recommended!

Shawn and his team installed ours 3 summers ago and we enjoyed working with them to build our dream pool!

I give 2 stars because our pool works. Otherwise they’d get one star. They were very hard to get in contact with & when we didn’t we never got a definitive answer & it would always be changing. They never finished the job as our pool was being installed at end of season. Come 2023 opening our pool we found they put a lock on our system to where we had control over nothing. They preach customers for life but only seeing negative reviews. As a customer who wants their backyard to look beautiful & be proud of. Consider another company due to premier being unable to fix & complete their mistakes leaving us with the final repairs.

not very efficient in working through paperwork and responsive on email. I also would watch out for their sales event.

i had revised my review, to 4s it looks like they improved and installation is on going so far experience has been good
