This was a great place to stop while traveling through Missouri. We all enjoyed our meals and their Iced Mochas. Our server Mia was so sweet and helpful. We really appreciated her great service!!!

Nothing but amazing, portions that would make anyone worried about not being able to finish. We went normal on the ordering and left with a good amount of food. All around amazing find.

Had like a 10 min wait, but it wasn't bad.  Ordered the chicken fried chicken and eggs over easy with a side of corn beef hash. Everything was great, especially that chicken fried chicken with sausage gravy.  So good!!😋

My first time trying sausage gravy. It was amazing! Our server was the best.  She helped me with all the choices available that I wanted to try. The manager even came to check on us and how we were enjoying our food. It was our first time in St. Joseph.  So glad we chose the Big Biscuit!

Our server was wonderful! The food was not. The chicken was woody and the texture was so off-putting I couldn't eat it. The hashbrowns were swimming in grease. My husband's eggs were over hard with a broken yolk when he asked for over medium.  Toast was burnt, but had a good amount of butter. The coffee was good. I know short order cooking is hard. Maybe the cook was new or having a bad day. If we visit St. Joseph again, we will be skipping this breakfast spot.

Papa Murphy's | Take 'N' Bake Pizza

Today I drove home from work feeling defeated and not at all in any holiday cheer. So imagine my surprise when my grandbabies decide last minute they want pizza. From where?? Your store. So i call first to ask if it's too late to order online and would they mind....I got a very helpful...no ma'am as long as you pick up before 5pm. Well ... online wasn't working. So I called back and ordered pick up... once again making sure they were ok with a last minute order. Once again I received a very nice no ma'am as long as you are here before 5. Ordered 3 pizzas... super helpful staff...never a negative feeling of being put upon ... which I really anticipated being Christmas eve. I mean seriously...everyone is counting down the minutes to go home on a holiday.  Loooong story short... your staff tonight did a great job making our pizza's and I am extremely grateful for their generosity.  Way to go!

Ordered 2 XL pizzas(sausage & pepperoni) online, while shopping at Walmart across the street. My husband & I still had to wait about 15-20 mins for the pizzas to be prepared. However, it's Take N Bake and it was good.

Love this take home and bake yourself pizza.

Sadly, year after year, the food has become worse in freshness and quality, & the workers don’t seem to be happy or treated well anymore. It used to be a great go-to.

The best Pizza Ever! Everything is fresh. Once you take this pizza home to bake it you will definitely be back!

Poplar Pizza

This is a great hidden gem in Howard, KS. Friendly family staff and a welcoming community. They have simple, down home cooking, coupled with excellent pizzas that leverage their Buffalo New York roots and experience. They have a small bar area set up for after work or weekend entertaining. And a large space in the rear of the building for overflow capacity or usage by large groups. It's worth the drive to visit Poplar Pizza!

Poplar Pizza Crab Boil is one of the most prominent "which one of these things, doesn't belong here" examples EVER!
While the legs are growing smaller as time progresses...the shrimp boil is still over the top GREAT!  The steaks and chicken are a WOW as well!

MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!! The Howard restaurant was frigid! I was cold and uncomfortable the entire time. The food was overpriced, and the menu was inaccurate. We ordered the chicken fried chicken, and it stated on the menu that it came with mashed potatoes and green beans. We didn't get either. The salt and pepper shakers were covered in grime, and the wall next to our table had dried food splatter all over it. The only saving grace to this dilapidated joint was the delicious chocolate and freeze dried candy sold in the front.

UPDATE: The owners' response to my review was unprofessional and rude, to say the least. A lot like their service. To clarify my review, the service was unfriendly (no smiles) and never stopped after delivering our meal to the table to ask how our food was or offer refills on our drinks. Our appetizer was delivered with the meal as opposed to before the meal. My fiance and I were able to see the thermostat above the bar on the wall by the restrooms, and it clearly read 67, not 70. I also didn't receive an explanation for the dirty salt and pepper shakers on the table or the visible food on the walls. The excuse for it being a 120 year old building is just that, an excuse. That being the case, those are maintenance issues that need to be addressed. And to answer your inquiry directly, no, this isn't my first disappointment nor my last. Corporate, private, small business, etc. In our economy, most of us work too hard for our money, so I leave honest reviews so customers will know what they're considering spending their hard earned money on before they spend it. The biggest disappointment in this whole experience was your comments, which were obviously made by someone who isn't able to handle criticism. If you can't handle the heat, don't own the kitchen.

We had a large party and the accommodations were great.  The food was absolutely amazing and the drinks were tasty too!  We had the pizza, wings, and a variety of other foods.  Everyone was extremely satisfied.  It was also good as leftovers the next day.

Wow! What a fantastic little restaurant in quaint downtown Howard KS. An extensive menu with something for everyone. I am a vegetarian, had a lovely white pizza with tomato and onion. Others in my group had a seafood platter, hot wings, and fried chicken platters. They do feature a bar so enjoy an adult beverage if you wish, the beer is ice cold. Great dessert choices and polite servers and cooks round out this perfect stop. A+

Walmart Supercenter

Just got done with a twelve hour shift. Went to Walmart to pick up a few things and saw deals on pokemon cards. Upon getting home I found that this product is missing 2 packs out of the box. Box clearly states 8 packs and I received 6. The box looked completely intact but unfortunately it was opened and resealed. I would highly recommend purchasing products like this elsewhere.

Terrible management. 7:25pm on 12/20/23, only 2 real registers open. I stood in line over 20 minutes just for the manager to walk up and shut the line down telling me to go to another lane cause the worker needs to go to lunch. No problem, why wouldn’t YOU as a manager at least take care of me real quick? I was the only one in line (some how) What a joke of a manager tel hey have this evening. And she had to be tracked down cause she had her head up her butt unwrapping a gift out in the open 😂

This Walmart gets 1 star because they don't allow RV parking. Having signs everywhere. Sad.

Went to purchase a cooler that showed in stock on the floor. But of course it was not. Guy in the department said that online is wrong and they have none in stock when his hand held said he had two. When we point that out, he said oh yeah let me check the back. Come back faster than he left and said they don’t have any.

Went to customer service and they were just as unhelpful.

I ordered some face masks for the winter for two young boys and we received a car cover when we opened the package. I went to the Walmart shown in the picture and the lady in the service area took care of everything refunded my money including postage and refunded my credit card.

Red Lobster

We had a large group of family members that ate here this evening. We went about 5pm, they were already quite busy.  Some of us had the Ultimate Endless Shrimp, someone had a steak, another lobster and shrimp combo, salmon and a few appetizers. Our food came out quickly, hot and delicious. Every person was pleased with their food. Our server, Kelsey was wonderful. She was cheerful and patient with us all. She checked on us often, was quick with the drink orders and the endless shrimp refills. It makes a huge difference to the success of a family get together when the service is good and the server smiles the entire time.

Food was really delicious but expensive, however prices seem to be comparable to other nicer restaurants. Our server, Gracie, was very good and on top of things. She had our drinks to us quickly, communicated that everything, including saying she had fresh biscuits in the over for us, since they were out, and was a very pleasant overall. I'm assuming he was the manager, came out and greeted us, made sure that we was satisfied with everything. Would definitely consider taking someone here for a date.

I would like to say that my visit was a pleasant and delicious experience... but in reality it was not, we arrived and the place was empty, there was no one to receive us, after several minutes someone finally took us to our table and we were there waiting for 10 minutes..until someone showed up who reluctantly took our drink orders..and never came back..another young man arrived, took our drink order and left and never came back..a third arrived and finally He took the order for the drinks and brought them to us...the place is a bit run down and dirty...and even though it was empty, the food took a while and the only thing we tasted was salt and more salt...this was my experience and unfortunately I didn't It was good. I hope you can see my review and can improve.. something else... my daughter ordered lobster and it was only the shell... my shrimp were bigger... too bad .

We stopped in today for a Birthday late lunch. They were still fairly busy. Our server was very nice, the Manager was assisting with food delivery to the tables. The food came out quickly, and hot. Very good, seafarers platter and salads.
Great meal, they were out of several of their dessert items but that is probably for the betterment of my waistline.

Understanding the service industry is suffering right now, and everyone has to learn our waiter was horrible. He constantly got things wrong. Grabbed my baked potato with his bare hands ✋️ to put it on a different plate.  Interesting experience.

Hooters

Spectacular visit as most times are! This was the first time at this location and it was a success! Great waitress, atmosphere, food taste and temperatures, and drinks made to perfection! The facility was clean throughout and the seating was nicely arranged! There's nothing we would've changed with this visit!  Excellent job!

We stopped here, one night on our vacation because it was close to our hotel. They weren’t very busy, but the hostess/server mention they were shortstaffed. She seated us immediately and was super friendly. She gave us time to order and grabbed our drinks immediately. Overall, I thought we had a great experience. Our food was correct, and it tasted great. Even with a large party of nine everything went very smoothly. The restaurant was clean as well as the bathroom.

Ordered online, no one sitting at the front to greet me so I could pick up my food. Wondered over to the cooks counter and saw my order sitting there. I made sure it was mine with my name on it. Not in a bag. Had to carry it out in my arms, and I ordered 50 wings with fries. I get to my destination and 1 set of the wings has zero seasoning. Just fried wings when I ordered lemon pepper dry rub seasoning. Never have I had a good experience at this location.

The food was not very high quality for the price and the service was not good at all. Never came to check on us and I had to wave them down to order the drink I told her I would be ordering. Went for a birthday and she “forgot” to come back out with dessert.

Most recently I went in for lunch. I sat at the bar & Alex was my server. She was really great! Great service, great conversation, & great beer & wings!!

Dave & Buster's Kansas City

The burgers here are really delicious! It's a nice place to go out to. Been out there a couple of times now the first time was absolutely fantastic. The second time could not even compare to the first. I personally think going during the daytime is a way better experience than to go in the evening.UPDATE I went back  for that burger 🍔 I was hesitant because of last time 😬. But it was good this time🤩☺️, and it was the evening time!! I love this location!! I can only show half the burger because I couldn't wait to take a bite! Or three!🤗

I had never been to a Dave & Buster's but will definitely go back! For a restaurant that caters to serving/offering primarily family-friendly activities and food I was surprised about how good our food and drinks were! Of course we played some games too but went specifically for lunch while out shopping. We sat at the bar to eat and bartender was very good and quick service. We tried a couple of their specialty cocktails and they were delicious! We had fish'n chips and the grilled chicken with balsamic reduction, both were very very good. Only down side is this ended up being a pretty expensive lunch with only two mixed drinks included.

My kids said these were the best arcagames they ever played. I have to agree these were on a different level from everything else we seen. The only thing I would say is that it is pretty expensive. Everything is now a days so it's to be expected but just a warning. To get a decent amount of credits for 3-5 cards you will spend around $150+ this is before any food or drink.

The food was amazing, I had the Chicken Hawaiian burger was absolutely phenomenal. Their service was the crappiest service I ever had . They have nothing but teenagers running the whole place, ended up having to get a manager waited for 20 to 30 minutes before we finally got some assistance and I don't even think it was from a manager maybe a team leader. Some of the servers were really rude. The atmosphere was kind of cool they have a live DJ there playing music so that was kind of different, and as it being a Saturday there wasn't too many people there so it was nice it wasn't very crowded but overall experience I would give it a six or seven out of 10

I wasn't expecting the food to be as good as it is. The dinning room has lots to watch while you wait. Everyone said their meal was excellent, service was great, and we all had a great time. It has wheelchair ramps to every part of the building. The games are fun and has a large selection of all kinds of games. Def will recommend and will return when in town.

Jack in the Box

I went with my brother at 1:30 a.m. and the employees were super nice!! Since my brother and I were the only customers there we stayed behind and chatted with the employees and had a very insightful conversation!! I didn't catch their names but there was a nice black man, he's a law student and very nice. and another younger black woman. I'd go back to this location to talk to them. Food was really good too.

The food was really good. I had the new sourdough bacon burger. I think that's what it was. The atmosphere was great. They had a guy coming to fix the drink machine with a ladder in the way where you couldn't get your drink.

My bagel wasn't toasted, there was a hair iin it, and they may have been understaffed because I went through the drive-through and it' too roughly  half hour to be served. Not a do over

Not friendly, drive thru was broken. Ordered 7 value meals 4 of the same. We only ended with 6 meals... after being told to pull forward and wait. Once we waited and left thinking our food was correct. We were back on the road and realized it We were short a meal. So yes, mom did not eat  just yet... friendly staff could help.

Been so long having Jack.. this one I'm definitely coming back drove 45 minutes to it spent 65$ got what we wanted 20 tacos too.. worth the trip and money, people were great and everything was fast especially around 9pm... thank you guys sorry about the drunk lady lmao thank you again

Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory

Over $11 for a peanut butter cup and a truffle?! The truffle was good, the PB cup wasn’t very good. The best PB cups I’ve ever had are from Trader Joe’s, $5 for 16oz’s.

Their desserts were DELICIOUS!!! 🥰 They had yummy, white chocolate covered Oreos - chocolate covered TWINKIES 😍, the Carmel apples were so tasty!!!
If you LOVE chocolate, this is the place to go. Plus, I can't forget the AMAZING CHOCOLATE covered STRAWBERRIES!!! Oh my!!! Mouth-watering!!! Don't miss out on this place.
They're located very close to the theaters at the Legends. The sign should be a different color bcuz it's almost too easy to miss by blending in with its background.

Great quality chocolate treats, great crew. Cameron was absolutely amazing. She was very knowledgeable about everything in the store. She helped me find what I was looking for. They have a great variety of items to choose from. The customer service is also top notch. Cameron went above and beyond. I will come back again. This experience was phenomenal. Everyone is always super helpful.

Decadent and delicious!! Got a buck eye for the first time and I'm so sorry it didn't make it to this picture, it was soooooooo good!!! Their turtles are enormous and their java chocolate is amazing.  Definitely worth trying! Plus the ladies in there were really nice!!

Been going here for years & using the app to order - Order was over an hour late & guy working said "App isn't through us so isn't always correct." Yet we've never had this issue before. They offered nothing for the inconvenience. New wings aren't even wings, barely any sauce. Pizza was undercooked.

Put in a carry out order at 3pm to be picked up at 6pm. Wasn’t ready until 6:45. Not sure the point of ordering ahead if it’s going to be almost and hour wait.  If they can’t handle the volume they should t accept the orders. We will not be ordering from here every againS

We always get the cookie dough. Everyone in our household loves it. Funny thing is we have never cooked it, and it's gone within a day.

John was extremely helpful today. This was my first time ordering from Papa Murphy's and he made me feel at home. The pizza was also very good. I will definitely be back soon!
