Papa Murphy's Take 'N' Bake Pizza

Love the take and bake pizza and cookies. If you plan on going last minute you might be prepared to wait a bit as the closer to dinner time it gets the longer the wait is. But no matter the wait it’s always worth it. As long as you follow the directions they give you the pizza will fill you and your crew up.

Ummmm I paid for extra cheese and barley got any cheese at all! What’s the point in pizza if there NO CHEESE??

The only reason it is getting two stars is because the gentlemen that took my order was friendly. The pizza didn't have enough toppings. We got a stuffed pizza and it puffed up. When we called the store we were just told that we were supposed to keep an eye on it. We did and it still kept puffing up, the top ended up burnt. I've never had this issue with the one by my house. I was not happy with the food at all.

This pizza is some of the best pizzas I have had in a long time. I have to eat gluten free. Papa Murphy  has terrific Gf crust. It always comes out of the oven fresh and delicious.  The only thing that would make it better is if it would be if they delivered. You could order, and as they put it together, you could preheat the oven, get it ready for baking. So when it gets delivered, all you have to do is slip it into the heated oven and set the timer. Perfect! Maybe you could think about it.

Great place to get a $5 pizza. It taste much better than a $5 frozen pizza!  Their Chicago Style is not bad either (although as a previous Chicago-area resident, it is not truly Chicago style).  Since they make most pizzas to order, it is easy to customize (light cheese, extra sauce, no yellow cheese, all the veggies except mushrooms, etc.).  You can pick up your cookie dough or salads while you are there. Also, for people on EBT, they can use their funds there because the food is uncooked (nice for special gatherings like kids' birthday, for example).

Good pizza, good service. Pizzas are usually ready inside of 10 minutes, even when the website/app says it'll be 30.

My only problem is the price: Papa Murphy's prices are suddenly on par with places like Papa John's... where you get better crust (a pizza oven beats my own) and don't have to cook the thing yourself. It used to make sense when Papa Murphy's provided a value for those on a tight budget.

If a manager is on site order when they aren't. This is one of the saddest pizzas I've seen from the chain, and a regional / district manager was definitely up front to greet me loudly and proudly. Either they're cutting back on toppings chai wide or he was there and making sure the "correct amount" of toppings were being used instead of "what looks good"

I am always satisfied with my orders and the workers are very friendly, gets orders done fast.

The owner is always there and ready to greet me with a warm welcome. Last visit I asked how many years they had been there…can’t believe its been 7 years! Always quick, easy to get in and out and affordable, delicious pizza!

Walmart Supercenter

This wal mart had a lot of good deals. The store was clean and the staff was friendly

I've been a bit surprised with the art supplies that is available here. No not in a bad way; in a good way.  so I'll keep going here for my art supplies. Now I do have a  wish, I wish they would carry more oil oil painting supplies. ? Will they? So let's wait and see.

This Walmart has been modernized. While I don’t normally shop at this particular store, I came here because the one I normally go to is still in the process of remodeling. It was pretty easy to find what I needed, and the lady watching the self-checkouts was pretty helpful. Again, I’ve said it before, sometimes I like Walmart and sometimes I don’t.

Too many giant cart by Employees parking in he middle of isles.  Alot of large bottled water aren't brought forward. Top shelves are to high. Stock on top shelf small items need to be restocking the same lower shelves that are out.

One actual cashier that was closing their register at 7am and grumpy as hell. If I wanted to work as a cashier, I'd apply for a job! I had a full cart and one item didn't scan correctly. The lady supervising the self checkout acted like I was trying to steal something! $400+ in products and I'd try stealing a $2 item. Give me a break. Beeping everywhere so it sounded like I scanned my item too. Next time I'll just leave everything if it's just self checkout only. I'm not getting paid to do there job too! At least try not being so damn rude. Good grief.

Great staff! Super helpful and quick making our pizza! Go on tuesdays they have great deals then. Also if you sign up for the app you can get $3 off.

Chen's Kitchen

After eating a portion of sesame chicken, I found that my food had some kind of bug in it. I did not eat the rest of my food worried that if there was a bug in one dish who knows what could be in the others.

When I brought the food back to report the bug and a request a refund, I was only refunded for my chicken and told that the bug may have come from the broccoli. Which I googled, and it appears that caterpillars on broccoli is a thing.

Even if the worm did come from the broccoli, they should be cleaning or soaking it to eliminate those things prior to cooking it. I find this really gross and I will not be eating here again.

AMAZING FOOD I ordered the beef with broccoli dinner special and it did not disappoint! The beef was amazing the rice was well cooked and it was paired with delicious vegetables. The cashier's were amazing the kids there are very respectful the young kid with the large glasses was very kind and respectful and told me to have a wonderful day. Overall amazing place would 100% go again

If you are thinking of eating here, just do it! Everything we got was delicious and the sizes were huge. You will have so much food! We aren't from around here so sad we can't come back unless we are in the area. We got crab rangoons, general Tsos chicken (best general Tsos he's ever had), egg drop soup, and Shrimp Moo Shoo. Fairly priced for the insane amount of food you get. Highly recommend! 👍

The portion isn’t worth the cost. My fried rice (w/o any veggies etc.) was old and seemed to be refried from the day before. Oh and last but not least. Ask for your receipt. Lunch special was 7.49. Cashier kept looking at me weird so I asked for my receipt and lo and behold he charged me $7.99. Imagine adding .50 on to every order you get a day. He told me there was supposed to be a sign up saying prices went up because chicken prices went up, 😂. I wish I could take a picture of my food. Never going there again!

Had a horrible experience tonight which is odd it's never been like this before.
I ordered 3 dinners over the phone which was probably what caused the issue. I ordered 1 dinner moo goo gai pan. 1 dinner of orange chicken and 1 dinner of pork fried rice. The only dinner I actually received which was a full container was the pork fried rice. The moo goo gai pan was a container that had in with ,and not a full container that would normally last for a few meals.
The orange chicken wasn't orange chicken but generals chicken and this also was not a dinner portion.

I know these guys are hard people I was living in the woods 150yrds out back waiting to get a mechanic to look at my bike to find that it was dead. They knew and they helped me can't say how but they were cool to me.

New nice place, but they need a armed security officer to cut down on some of the locals that just hanging out it bad for business.  Morning it's nice the guy that works there is cool.

Just bought a vape from this gas station and it didn’t work. So went back inside to ask for a new one like they offer and they told me no they couldn’t swap it out for me. Might seem petty to some but I work hard for my money and it just got wasted

The Big Biscuit

We stopped in for breakfast on a Sunday morning. No wait at all for a table and the atmosphere is cool and chill. The food came out fast and was absolutely delicious! Will definitely dine here again!

Great place for brunch. Kitchen sink skillet is very tasty. Bacon is think and crispy. I love the pots of coffee you get individually with each order. Blueberry waffles with fresh bananas and strawberries is a hit with kids.

I went to the one on 87th and 435. It was a disappointment. Usually you feel welcome. The one I usually go to is on Shawnee mission Pkwy. The atmosphere is better and they have actual booths instead of a bunch and 2 chairs.  When we walked in they acted like they couldn't have cared less.  The food was only average. I would not go back especially since the prices have gone up.  Too bad...

Food was great as always but we had to wait 30 minutes to order our food because our waitress didn’t come to our table then she forgot to put in our food. Didn’t come back for refill and forgot our drinks we ordered. Ended up not eating until an hour later. Manager that help us was phenomenal though

First time eating here and the food is excellent! Great breakfast food as well as pretty decent prices for what you get.  You definitely won't  leave on an empty stomach. I ordered the ham steak w/ eggs,  toast, and breakfast potatoes.  It was delicious! My girlfriend got the waffle platter with red, white, and blue waffles ( strawberry, banana, and blue berry's).

An older lady with glasses working on Monday night (9/20/2021) at approximately 8:30 p.m was SUPER rude to us when we were at the gas pump for about 5 minutes because I was looking for something that was lost. She told us to leave because we weren’t getting gas at the time she walked up and there was nobody waiting in line. She disrespected us and she deserves to be fired.

Was not welcomed, never was greeted. They were too busy looking at their phones.

Great place to get a tank of gas and a few things to eat.

Great coffee everymorning. Also some good snacks.

They had gas. I put it in my car and my car worked well. What more is there to say?

Shell Truckstop

It's a okay place in my opinion. I truly only stop in to use the CAT Scales. I have not been a fan of the truck parking. Or the the truck parking fee is only for 12 hours.

Shell is the 7/11.  Poorly managed filthy washrooms that aren't cleaned in 24 hrs.   Food was the same as 18 hours ago, didnt change.    Doesn't KC have a health department.   No food standards.  Parking $10.   The good thing is amazing mex restaurant nearby, and McD's close.  I wouldn't go to Wendy's, didn't look clean.

I have to stop a minute to write this review, the manager who was working the shop today is always so professional, so nice and so efficient. I never have to wait long for my pizza. They use such great fresh ingredients. The veggie pizza is one of my favorite. Today I ordered something different. Chicken pizza with creamy sauce, green onions, tomatoes and herbs. I added mushroom because I like them. Its ALWAYS smart to get the family size. People, this pizza is just as good leftover as it is when you first cook it at home. I am a total convert. I will NEVER get pizza at any chain ever again except for PAPA MURPHYS.
Im so glad to say the new manager seems to be doing a superb job.

Same complaint as others have made, and one I’ve had happen before. If you are going to close at 7 pm instead of 9 pm, update your hours so that people don’t waste their time trying to buy from your business. Last time I’ll bother.

We really love Papa Murphy's pizza. It's always a hit with the kids; however, I will probably never purchase from this location again.

I waited for my pizza for about 20 minutes. Which isn't a big deal. But the kitchen was a mess. I was there at a really slow time. There was meat and cheese all over the counter. Two employees were making pizzas, and another wasn't doing anything. I don't know why he wasn't cleaning the counters. It was pretty gross. One of the guys making pizzas wasn't wearing a hair net and flipping his hair every 30 seconds. Pretty sure food code requires him to restrain his hair. He also scratched the side of his nose with his gloved hand and continued to make pizzas.

These issues may not seem like a big deal, but if employees can't change gloves, wash their hands, and clean the counters...  It make you wonder what they are doing when customers aren't watching.

I see that they responded so I’ll let them know.  Your employee closed at 7 PM when closing was at 9 PM. Apparently, I got there when he turned the lock.

You might as well adjust all of your hours closing at 7 PM if this is normal practice.

I'm changing my review from five stars to three. I have ordered one or two pizzas from this location every Friday night for the last 5 years. The staff here has gone from superb to marginal very quickly. I always order extra toppings, every time. Lately I only get what I order about half the time. Submitting a photo of a cheese pizza ordered with extra mozzarella and extra cheddar. If I bring up the mistake, the staff grumbles and fixes the mistake with attitude.
