Platinum Autobody of Volo

Because I have limited experience with auto body shops I wasn't sure what to expect. I leaned heavily on reviews such as this one. I made an excellent choice with Platinum Auto Body in Volo. Rob and Lillian could not have made me more comfortable with the process short of chamomile tea and a foot rub. They walked me through the steps and kept me informed the whole time. I was expecting three or four weeks, they finished the repairs and returned my car spotless and perfect in 7 days. In a perfect world I will never need an auto body shop again but that is not the world we live in and these people will be my first call and I recommend they are your first call.

Great service, great communication throughout the process, would highly recommend. It was a very nice experience especially after the difficulty of dealing with the insurance customer service- platinum auto body was the exact opposite: extremely helpful, knowledgeable and did great work!

Good service. My car looks good. Plus they gave a packet of cookies as a token of appreciation.

Crash Champions Collision Repair

State Farm referred me to this collision repair shop. I had a really good experience. They teamed up with Enterprise Car rental and I was able to drop off my car, get it fixed, and then I was able to leave my rental car at that shop and get my car back. Kyle Adams was my repair specialist, and he did a great job. Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience and would recommend this body shop for your car repairs.

I was shopping around for repairing the rear bumper on my Mercury Grand Marquis after I had clumsily backed into a wall and Crash Champions was the last shop on my list. I can confidently say that Kyle is hands down the friendliest person in the body shop business in the area. I ended up using Crash Champions not only because of Kyle's affable nature but because their quote was also the cheapest and they were able to fix my car a lot sooner than anyone around.  Kyle and Crash Champions will be my first stop for all my future auto body needs.

As a twenty-something female med student who knows very little about the car industry, I’m always weary of being taken advantage of when it comes to car service shops. Kyle and Martin at Crash Champions made me feel like I was in great hands through the entire process of getting my car repaired, helping me secure a rental, dealing with insurance and even going the extra mile to include my dad in correspondences despite him being out of state. I wouldn’t hesitate to bring business back to them or to recommend their work! Car was done sooner than anticipated, exterior repairs were stellar and vehicle interior was cleaner than I left it. I don’t know where to start… Jay and Kyle are great they possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills and without a doubt if anything was to ever happen with my car again they would be on speed dial. We brought in our 2016 Chevy Malibu after a deer hit the car while my wife was driving home. They are a preferred partner  shop through State Farm. They completed the car in less then 2 weeks despite it having over $8000 worth of damage. Looking at the car, you cannot even tell it was in a accident with a deer. My wife only has high praise for the customer service staff and repair techs. They were awesome. I went there today to pickup her work keys which she forgot in her rental vehicle thru Enterprise which is also a partner with State Farm. I have to say that everyone appeared very professional and the office and shop looked immaculately clean. I highly recommend them!

I went in for an estimate for repairs that I had to pay out pocket due to scraping a concrete cement post. I was surprised on how accommodating and reasonable the repairs would be. Throughout the whole process I was communicated with about the time frame and expectations. I am extremely satisfied and I will definitely be referring friends and family that may needs services they offer.

Had our vehicle repaired here and they did a wonderful job!  You can’t even tell the vehicle was in an accident!  Great customer service and communication throughout the process. Highly recommend using them for your collision repair needs.

My experience walking in outstanding experience at Midas Repair Shop in Lake Zurich, Illinois. The staff was very helpful and guided me through what I need for my vehicle. From the moment I walked in, their team helped me with providing a phone charge when my phone was on 2%. I highly recommend Midas to anyone in need of reliable and trustworthy automotive service. Great positive attitude, I will be coming back to this location again.

MC Body Repair

They painted my motorcycle tank and did a fantastic job. Great to deal with and a great price. I will have all my bikes painted here and recommend them highly.

Horrible, my fenders came out VERY NOTICEABLY uneven. The clear coat job was SUB-STANDARD. I had a laptop come up missing out of my car, with all my change. My brand new International brand battery was swapped out for generic brand battery. And when I went to pick up my car, the owner threatened to assault me and told me to leave.

It was fantastic the owner is bery friendly and understanding  I definitely recommended

I have been working with Jerry and his very efficient team for over 5 years and have recommended them to everyone that I/we can.  Never disappointed!  And, always received great feedback from everyone we sent them to!  Keep up the great work guy!

The prices/product are great but they cut into the rubber of my door to get a rain guard off.

I had originally set an appointment with another company to get my window fixed. Someone had vandalized my car. A coworker told me to look into glass doctor. I called for an appointment and the lady told me the estimate was $100 less than I would have paid for with the other company.

They offered to come get the car for me while at work, but due to confusion of the employee parking lot, I rescheduled two days later and was probably one of the firsts to enter. There's an energetic lady at the front desk. I gave her my keys and had the waiting room to myself where I enjoyed the remote control at my convenience. Just a little con about the waiting room; it was freezing in there. There was a little vent I tried sitting in front of to keep warm, but that barely worked. The TV is also so 1990s, an ittty-bitty TV up in the top corner of the room.

I was told the car would be ready in two hours, though they finished 30 minutes early. It's been about a week and some days and the window is fine. It cost exactly what the lady told me it would be.

The receptionist was very kind and helpful! The technicians were awesome and really fast. It only took them about an hour and they were done. The owner took the time to discuss our concerns and was such a sweetheart. It was done almost 100$ cheaper than the the other quote I received so we are 100% satisfied!!

G.D. Returned my call within a day & a half to schedule to come out. They were able to come the following day. My son was practicing his karate kicks & broke out a double pane window. They were able to put temp glass in the window while the the etched panes were being shipped. I was given options & prices to choose from. I was originally told that our panes would take 10 days for shipping but they were in within a week. GD's repair man was able to come at my desired date & time. Our repair was quick & friendly!! I'll definitely call them back with ANY other window/glass issues we have in the future!!

Auto Collision Rebuilders

The best body shop in Palatine! Originally got work done on my Subaru back around May of 2020 after a little fender bender. Carlos and his crew were super helpful and informative of any potential discoloration between body panels. Fast forward three years later, and the paint and craftsmanship is still holding up with no chipping. I highly recommend Auto Collision Rebuilders whether its from an accident or needing a respray.

Long & overdue review, but definitely needed! I went in November to have some damage repaired on my Chrysler 200 through my insurance. It ended up being more like my entire bumper had to be replaced, but Carlos & team did a great job on my baby.  He did a great job walking me through the process (me: knowing 0 about cars) and when I picked up he also thoroughly explained what was done...I could even see my old bumper on the side of the garage with the damage. They definitely go the extra mile, as my car is a specific paint - which they had to reorder to get it to match perfectly. With working from home, I'd completely forgotten about the appointment at 5pm and Carlos was nice enough to wait for me while I walked over to the shop & I'm pretty sure they cleaned my car! Awesome, awesome job! Smooth process, knowledgeable, honest, Spanish speaking ability, great people and a local shop! The process seems like talking to a family friend vs. a shop! Highly recommend for your car needs!

Carlos did a great job on a front end collision. His work on the car is fantastic and the in house paint job matches OEM perfectly which I was initially worried about. He also dealt with my insurance for weeks which was a constant issue for us. I respect his patience and that he didn't sacrifice quality because of the insurance issues. Would definitely recommend this shop

I have used ACR 2 or 3 times now for body repairs. They do impeccable work. Never fail to impress. They keep customers updated w/pics & estimate of completion. I highly recommend!

Due to getting in a car accident, I was looking for a body shop for repair, started Googling and looking up reviews and settled on bringing my car in to Auto Collision. Their customer service is outstanding; very professional, knowledgeable, empathetic to your needs, and Juan was great with explaining details and very nice/kind. Upon pick up of my car, they did a great job with the repair, informed me that they're still waiting on molding (the only part on back order), and assured me that it should be in within a couple of weeks and they'll place it on for me right away. Overall, I am very pleased with their awesome service, if you need a body shop, please use this one, you will not regret your decision.

Great people, super service. Went to two other shops, trying to figure out our issues with our car, the other shops wanted to charge an inspection fee $120.00 and up.
Midas asked to put it on the lift to take a look at it for me. Which was free, because the employees at this Midas love their jobs which is nice to see. It took only one hour to check out and repair the two issues. They are great! Thanks again, I will be back.

The team at Midas was able to get us in within an hour of our phone call and was able to look up our warranty and take care of our vehicle the same day.  Their customer service was excellent and their pricing was very reasonable.

OLIVET PARENT REVIEW

I'm a skeptic by nature. When it comes to how I view mechanic shops, I always assume they are crooks and liars until they prove otherwise.

WOW! This Midas location proved otherwise 10 times over!

We had a VERY intermittent problem with our A/C and we were 8 hours from home for a visit to Olivet. Jim (owner) and his team didn't brush the problem off just because they couldn't reproduce it. They dug in and kept going until they thought they had found the issue. We drove the car that evening and the intermittent problem happened again. I knew that when a problem is that sporadic that it is very difficult for a mechanic to diagnose, so I was not upset with them, but I expected for them to be frustrated to see me back the next morning.

There was no frustrated, but a smiling, warm welcome and immediate empathy with me that the problem was not resolved. (AJ at the front desk is simply amazing!) They spent the day digging in again and by the end of the day were confident they had figured out the problem — and they had! On top of it all, they could have charged me for a lot of labor for those two days of work, but Jim was so kind and I walked out having paid much less than would have been reasonable.

My experience here was not simply based on the service rendered, but the interactions with the owner and team convinced me that I had a shop that were dedicated to honesty and fairness; wanting to build relationships, not grab dishonest bucks.

My daughter will be beginning her freshman year at Olivet this Fall and this is where she will be taking her vehicle for maintenance and service.

Car is running better than it has in a long time. I asked a million questions and they never got frustrated with me. I recently purchased a Pride Moblity Scooter from All Mobility at a very reasonable price. It was delivered to my home and the representative showed me how to put it together and take it apart. I am able to lift the parts to put them in the back of my Subaru Forester. (I am 72 ). Therefore I will not need a lift or trailer. The scooter works well both on sidewalks and grass and gravel. I’m very pleased with this purchase. The staff was friendly and gave me good advice on which model to purchase.

From the moment I dropped my keys off I knew my truck was in good hands. Wes was attentive to the issues I was explaining with my vehicle and assured me he would have them taken care of.  From start to finish it was seamless and their website gave me updates through out the process which I appreciated! I felt like I picked up a brand new vehicle when they were done with the repairs.
