Custom Blinds & Design

Not only are all the staff genuinely nice, they are VERY knowledgeable and helpful.  They did a great job in installing our plantation shutters, which we are just thrilled with.   And even when we discovered a glitch with the blinds after they were installed, they COMPLETELY resolved the issue.  Thanks to all the staff but particularly to Marcus who did such a great job in a very timely fashion.  I highly recommend Custom Blinds & Design.  We will definitely use them again.

Rhonda is very knowledgeable about the custom blinds business and was a wonderful help in deciding what to get for our windows. Greg was very professional and did a great job with installation. They are both available for any problems or questions, even after the blinds are installed.

One of these bay windows was done by Custom Blinds. The other was done by myself with off-the-shelf blinds from the local hardware store. The blinds from Custom were TEN TIMES the price. I encourage you to take a second to think about what that means. $100 vs $1000. That’s just one window in one room. Now multiply that by the number of rooms you have. Sure, their blinds are higher quality and I think about that just about zero times a day because they go up and down the same way.  Buyers remorse  for this customer.

They have a nice staff. However, they cut the blinds too small for the windows in my opinion. In the baby’s room, these black out blinds let in tons of light and it has created sleep issues for our child.

Hannah and the team did a fantastic job getting us taken care of at our shop.  Very easy to work with, kind, and professional.  Our install took less than 30 minutes and we couldn't be more pleased!

The service provided was professional and quicker than expected. We were not able to get the exact blinds we currently have in our home because the style has been discontinued. However, the new ones are very similar and of excellent quality.

Nebraska Auto Glass

I highly recommend Nebraska Auto Glass. They found a windshield for my 1986 Nissan pickup. I called a number of places around town looking for one,  and they were the only one that found me a windshield. Thank you so much! I really appreciate the work you did on my pickup.

I highly recommend Nebraska Auto Glass. I called to get a windshield put in and they got me in and had the windshield replaced within a few hours. They even cleaned up the glass shards throughout my pickup.

They took care to make sure the correct glass was obtained (they were able to get it from Omaha the next day). The two guys who owned the place and worked there were friendly. The work was completed on schedule.  No damage to the car (full replacement of the front windscreen).  Everything is still great a few weeks out.  If someone who’s fully trained and good at repairing lacing auto glass is looking for a good place to work, they should reach out to the owners.

They were priced reasonably and were able to get my car in and out in a few hours . would recommend

my new trucks windshield took a rock.Went to Ne auto glass just before closing. It was repaired in less than hour for a lot less than expected. That's customer service.

Wild Bird Habitat Store

Thank you for helping me get a feed my birds won't waste. Saving me money and the birds enjoy it.

Pretty much anything you might want for winged friends. Very helpful staff, but of course a bit pricier than a big box.

We Love the Store, and they are always willing to answer Questions and assist in anyway.  We go there multiple times a Month for Feed.

Good local option for (wild) bird related items. Not the cheapest option, but the employees are subject matter experts and it is good to support them if you can.

Food, feeders & accessories for every type of bird you want to attract! They've expanded to include so many products for dogs & cats. Katie keeps it stocked with better quality food & treats and can offer advice if your pet has allergies or specific needs -  it's where I buy my dog's food!

Pella Windows & Doors of Lincoln

Debbie Ruhlman was who I dealt with.  Super nice and knowledgeable.  Very helpful when we were deciding on windows and doors!
Ken Watson was the lead installer.  We was super friendly and knowledgeable!  He had been doing the install for more than 22 years.  One on the windows was cracked on delivery.  He explained they ordered a replacement and they would take care of it.  They scheduled 4 days for the install but were done in 2 1/2 days.  They cleaned up as they went along.  They also cleaned the windows!  The entire team was friendly and knowledgeable.
It has be a pleasure from the start of the process! My new windows, doors, and new workforce is gorgeous!  I can't say enough nice things about Pella windows and doors!  Thank you!

First contact we had with Pella was when we had a window leak - Pella's rep told us we had hail damage and he could repair the damage but we should check with our insurance agent.  Sure enough we needed all of our windows replaced.  That is when we met Debbie Ruhlam who came out to  measure and order.  The team she sent to install were top-notch as well.

Our experience was so good with the window replacements that when we built an enclosed sunroom it was a no brainer on who we wanted to install our windows!  Debbie Ruhlam had great ideas and worked well with our contractor to make our dream a reality.   Great quality windows and awesome customer service.

Ordered a Pella 250 Series Vinyl Window (23” x 38” triple pane) for a bathroom to replace a glass block window that had zero insulation value and always had condensation on it and was quite cold in the winter.
•	Ordered Pella Window on 3/16/23 – Salesman talked me into a different design than originally requested to maintain the Corian surround material.
•	Final Measurement process by salesman and company measurer on 3/23/2023.
•	Initial install – 6/9/2023. Installer said the window was too big and they would see that the correct side was reordered. Glad he measured new window before taking out the old window.
•	2nd install date 8/10/2023.
•	8/12/2023 – reported to Pella that the paint on the composite trim was unacceptable.
•	9/19/2023 – Pella touched up the trim paint. It is OK.
•	6 months to obtain and install one small window. This is an inordinate amount of time.
•	Put half the cost down at contract signing and Pella billed monthly thereafter for the balance  from the first install date although the window was not installed.

Very clean open bright showroom/office area. Big windows to the south let in gobs of light so you can see what your product is going to look like out side. Lots of space between window and door displays and an overhead roll out for product display.  Not an ounce of unorganized or even organized mass confusion anywhere. More businesses should take a look at this office. I have no doubt that my order will be processed in a timely matter. Step by step, they know when and how things are going to go.  A bunch of thumbs up.

Replaced large crack in my windshield in a fast and effective manner! Great customer service and very communicative. The solution they use to make your windshield clear is awesome! Never had a clearer windshield before, highly recommend to anyone.

Had my rear windshield randomly shatter but my tint was holding it together, Caleb crash proofed it for me on a Friday about 5 minutes before close. Prices quoted here are very good went through about four different companies and Waverly glass was a lot cheaper. I ended up getting it done by a friend who had the part over the weekend Since I wanted it done asap. But I would definitely come here if you're looking for great service and good price.

Lincoln Mobility

FIVE STARS! So thankful to have found Lincoln Mobility! Trustworthy, kind, considerate, professional and knowledgeable, all come to mind when I describe these gentlemen. Their timely response to all our needs has earned our business. We have purchased a wheelchair, a mobility scooter, and even used their repair services on a chair purchased elsewhere before we found them. We have been so pleased with every interaction and sale. If you are looking for something to make your life easier, I would encourage you to check there, they probably have it. (I love my reach extender!!) The fact Lincoln Mobility is a locally owned business means a great deal to us, just as Made in America means to them.

I recently had rotator cuff surgery and was looking for a piece of medical equipment to help post surgery.  I called a few local stores, but Lincoln Mobility stood out for sure!  They took the time to understand my situation and provided me a comfortable lift chair to help me sleep as the pain from sleeping in a bed was unbearable.  They were so nice and accommodating to my situation.  They went above and beyond my expectations to take care of me!  Great customer service!  Would strongly recommend them!  Will definitely use Lincoln Mobility in the future!

Lincoln Mobility is the BEST!!! I would give them 10 stars if I could. They treated us so well. We were traveling to Lincoln last week for our son's wedding. My husband's wheelchair need a few minor repairs. We stopped by on Friday morning. The staff were more than welcoming. They recognized our need. They promised us, if we came back in a little bit, Pat Pohlman would fix everything for us. We returned as directed, Pat was amazing. He repaired everything perfectly. They knew our situation, and told us the repair was complimentary. Their service was beyond our expectations. If you have mobility needs, I highly recommend you visit Lincoln Mobility. You will not want to go anywhere else after meeting their friendly, kind staff.

My husband has been having leg issues that have required compression stockings and his doctor recommended this place. They are absolutely wonderful here! The lady has always been the one to help him and she has been very helpful, kind, courteous and knowledgeable. I was going to order an item for him today through Amazon and he said to me, "No you don't! I'm going to Lincoln Mobility to get it!" 🤣😂 We highly recommend this place.

I was in need of a knee scooter and Nebraska Mobility was the first store I called. Tim took down my information and when I got to the store 10 minutes later, he had my agreement printed out and my scooter ready to go. It was an easy and fast process! The return process was just as easy. I would definitely recommend Nebraska Mobility!

RNR Tire Express

Passing through to Colorado we picked up a flat. Put some air in it and brought it to RNR at a local's recommendation (they do free patches).

Unfortunately, I drove on the tire too long flat and it needed replaced. However, the employees at RNR were helpful, polite, and got me the new tire I needed before it was time to checkout of our hotel and get back on the road. They even rebuilt the TPMS sensor at no extra charge!

5/5 would recommend.

Went in for a tire repair, and they were able to take care of it same day, getting my car back very quickly. The staff was very friendly, kind and helpful. Waiting area was clean and comfortable. Will definitely be going back, if you need tires look no further!

Last Thursday night I wanted to put air in my tires I ran to Casey after eating out with my family and as I was at Casey’s on 27 th street I  noticed that my tires weren’t filling up with air and I wanted to make sure I’d be okay driving the next day socks the pressure was going to drop and I didn’t want problems while driving I have never had a problem with RNR staff. I went there with my step son and was told that they would look at my tires and see what is going on and I had a nail on my rear tire and they repaired it for me and I was thankful. I week back back cause the rear tire wasn’t coming up with the air pressure and was greeted when I got there and was told that they would look at it and put more air in my car and I am grateful will come back and will let people know the great service that I received thanks again RNR tires

Mike and his crew at RNR did an amazing job. Got me hooked up with a set of 4 new tires for $30 down. If you’re looking for an honest and reasonable purchase while on a budget i recommend these guys!

American Fence Company - Lincoln

American Fence did a great job and we are very pleased with our new fence! They were great to work work with. Very responsive and did a high quality job on the fence installation. Fence is sturdy and well put together. I quoted four different fence companies and American Fence gave me the best deal. Overall, very satisfied with our decision to go through American Fence. Highly recommend!

The quality of our fence is great so far. The turn around time from the quote to construction was very reasonable. The crew also cleaned up after themselves well.

Communication was not great. We were told the product would be stained. Upon paying the deposit were told only posts would be stained. Once construction began, 1-2 days after they removed the old fence and laid the posts for the new, we then found out that the cement must cure for 7-10 days before rest of fence is completed. This is good as we would like the job done properly, but I don’t believe we were told this prior, and had to cancel plans already made to work around not having a fence to contain our dogs.

Lastly, not pleased that when my husband dropped off the final payment at the office, a small dog that was present in the building actually bit him on the leg. Luckily he wasn’t seriously hurt. Not sure whose dog, but seriously why was it inside? Unprofessional.

Our estimator was really knowledgeable. I really appreciate the time he put into this as he ran a few difference quotes given different scenarios of fences. We had a really small project and they were able to arrive about a month earlier than expected and our fence looks great!

Once scheduled, they didn't show up on the day that they said, but they did get back to us when I called to inquire. The communication during the job was not as thorough as the estimator was and I felt it was lacking. The guys on site hit a line and our power had to be repaired.

I am happy with our fence but I would have appreciated someone contacting me to let me know when they were going to be on site  and when they were completed. Once the fence was completed, I got an email to pay the invoice and no further communication. No one connected with me to ask if I was satisfied or anything.

Working with Mike Olesen made the whole process easy.  Everyone we worked with at American Fence was very friendly and helpful.  The crews were very professional and tidy.  They kept us informed every step of the way. We recommend American Fence Company.  We are very happy with the work they did.

The group of guys from American Fence did a wonderful privacy fence for us after they removed our chain-link fence. Very nice and professional!  We have received many compliments on how nice it looks!   We would recommend them to others wanting a fence!

Wild Bird Habitat Store North

Very helpful employee and great selection of bird items and a few garden/yard items.

The help is always cheerful and helpful and the store is always bright, and clean.

Picked up 2x 50lb bags because we have spoiled birds!

They REALLY know their business and ALL things about birds here in Nebraska. Will answer your questions and very helpful with ideas, suggestions and products. Totally recommend this business for ALL bird lovers everywhere.

Best Buy

Like so many other reviews, I agree the service at the Lincoln store sucks. Groups of employees standing around at the register in the computer department.  No one in the aisles to assist in getting a product out.  I eventually opened the sliders that cover the product on my own, found the item I wanted, and headed to the nearest register.  Employees wouldn't even look up or acknowledge me.  Then ended up helping two other customers who were there after me.  When they came to finally ring up the others, they stepped around me. Finally,  second employee told me one of the two registers was closed and that i could go up to the front registers.  I said i would wait.  They rang up the other customers,  and then walked away!
I left without my purchase and bought off Newegg website instead.

Shopping at Best Buy has become the most unpleasant experience. They’ve completely lost focus on the customer. I have two such examples from the past month.

First, I recently attempted to purchase two TVs. Upon bringing them out to my car, the employee told me that the TV warranties would be voided and wouldn’t be eligible for return since they didn’t fit upright in my vehicle. So, I simply canceled the online order. Then, I drove over to Target, where I purchased the same TVs. The Target employees happily loaded them into my car and didn’t hassle me.

Second, I stopped at Best Buy tonight and attempted to purchase two Ring indoor cameras. Every other Ring product was out on shelves, including the camera I wanted, but in white. For some reason, the black version of the camera was locked behind glass. I was told it would be a 20-minute wait just to have someone unlock the case. So, once again, I left and went to Target, where they don’t force their customers to stand around for 20 minutes to complete a 5-second task.

Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. I’m not giving Best Buy a third chance. They’ve lost a customer for life.

Just went there today and a skinny guy who said he was the manager of the area he was very nice and helpful but, later on when I was looking for a new phone case the next guy I was asking information, was rude and told me while laughing if we don’t have it on the shelf we don’t have it.  Didn’t feel welcomed during the 30 minutes of being there felt more along the lines of watched like I was going to steal something.

Called and the extensions lines were closed even though the store was open.  I had an item 6months not working wanted to get exchange for a new one as they have their one year warranty. According to the text conversation yes they have it but I have to work with the manufacturer. That was not what I was told at purchase. I was told they cover the first year in store and they deal with the manufacturer.  No one knows what is going on there. Have seen it on other reviews.

Was pointed in the right direction to find an item I desired and was happy in the process. Good service and friendly faces that actually smiled and didn't look bored to answer questions. That's refreshing.
