Kirkin Exteriors

Kirkin recently installed a new roof with solar shingles on my house and I am extremely happy with the outcome! To start with, I was provided with the most thorough quote and proposal that I’ve ever gotten for a service. The team at Kirkin was able to provide support and answer any questions that came up during the loan and application process, and they worked closely with me to schedule my install. The crew came out on time (was actually a bit early) and got right to work. They were in contact with me the whole time to keep me informed of the progress and what to expect. The job was completed quickly and it looks phenomenal. I had high expectations and they were able to meet and exceed them! I will definitely be recommending Kirkin to anyone else looking for roof repairs and replacement.

Couldn't be happier with Kirkin! We started talking with Dan back in 2020 about replacing our roof, but then...COVID.

Fast forward to 2022, and when we reached back out he didn't miss a beat. Dan has the patience of a saint, with my million questions...And the solar shingles sealed the deal! They look so much nicer then traditional solar panels.

From start to finish Dan's team was proactive in their communication, professional and made sure to keep things neat. When we had an issue with a gutter, Dan & Andrew worked tirelessly to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

Great experience with Kirkin. I had solicited a few roofing companies and all were very good. Dan’s presentation just stood out, as he explained everything in great detail. The team keeps you completely informed of the process throughout the project. The end result was a high quality installation. I definitely recommend Kirkin Exteriors for any roofing project.

Kirkin has done work for two different family members, so I had Kirkin come out and assess a leak we were having below a dormer window. Their representative went into the interior of the room that the dormer was in. He determined that replacing the siding on the outside of the dormer would resolve the situation. Since he was in the interior of the room and knew that my house is very old, it seemed reasonable for me to believe they would use the proper equipment for the specific job.  After the work was completed the nails that Kirkin used came through the interior walls. See pictures.

This is the response I received from Danielle, one of the owners: "Yes, I have reviewed your project and images. I am sorry this happened to your home. We used standard materials that we use on every job. Unfortunately, we cannot be held responsible for the interior of a property as this could possibly be the framing methods being different? I understand where you are coming from as a homeowner, and this would be an unforeseen circumstance as we install all projects the same way. I hope you can understand where we are coming from."

It would seem that they only do standard work.

Kirkin did a repair job on our screened in porch roof. It blended so well, that we thought it had not been done. We were not home at the time of the repair. After receiving photos of the repairs, we were sure it was completed. Now we will wait for a rainy day/night and hope for no more leaks! Communication with the company was great, but I think the workers should leave some evidence (paperwork, perhaps?) that they came to the site, if no one is home.

Iconic Roofing and Exteriors, Inc.

Iconic’s crew did a great job installing our new door. On time, communicated throughout the process and fair pricing. Work was done in one day and they made sure we were happy before the crew left. We will be using them on future projects!

Marc and Jordan was great they understood what I wanted. Also respected my concerns with no disruption to my neighbors.  And their product is what got them the job and the price was excellent!!!!  They are first on the list for my next job!!! Thanks 😊

Awesome... awesome job! This company will be my to go to company for good. They removed and replaced my deck. My attic vents needed replacing and removed and replaced front door with sidelights as well as my back outside laundry room door. Everything came out beautiful. Cole is amazing and on point to returning all call and emails. Marc was awesome checking in on all work done to make sure I was satisfied. Andrew 100%great work and an amazing installer. He was my 5 yr old sons best friend lol. Love this company.The best part is that they are a for real company. They do not bs or give any pressure to get the job. Everyone has different experiences when it comes to contractors, however this is my first time using Iconic Roofing and I would highly recommend them and plan on using them down the road. I had to get a sliding door replaced and also an interior wall removed and they were able to do complete both jobs and both came out exactly how I envisioned it.

It started with Bryan and Mark at the intial project planning where they were able to explain to me the differences in style of sliding doors and walk me through exactly different budgeting aspects of the project all the way to when the project was getting executed with Jordan (Project Manager) and all of the subcontracts they had to come help, plumper, electrician, and drywall.

They were extremely helpful, responsive and took care of everything. I could not be happier with project went or how it turned out.

I have a porch with a deck over top of it that was leaking. Problems like this can be so hard to find and the fix can be difficult, complicated & expensive. I called Iconic and spoke with a very courteous representative. They set me up with an appointment the next day. The iconic tech that came out assessed the situation and gave me the honest truth which was that the deck would have to come up to search for the source. They gave me a fair price to lift it, and put it back, and advised the additional to fix would be determined by the problem they found. They came out a few days later. Pulled up the deck and found the problem. The next day they were back, repaired and tested to insurance the problem was solved and then restored the deck. I was thrilled with the direct, professional approach. The quality of work is excellent and the price was very reasonable. I recommend this company highly. 5 stars.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Diamond State Roofing & Restoration for the installation of a new roof on my home, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the professionalism and efficiency of Dan and his team.  Dan and team patiently guided me through the insurance claim process, providing clear explanations and ensuring that I felt confident every step of the way.

The installation team deserves special mention as well for their outstanding work ethic.  They began the roof installation early morning and completed the entire job, including clean-up, by early afternoon. The speed of their work did not compromise the quality of their craftsmanship.

Diamond State Roofing did an amazing job with my roof. Dan was there every single step of the way. He did a great job with communicating and being very patient with me. I have already recommended him to several of my neighbors. They went the extra mile and fix my door hinged and added new boards to my shed! Do not search for anyone else but Diamond State Roofing. Highly recommend!

They are FAST and got our garage roof done quickly and with no issues! Got there at 7:00 and were done and gone by 12:30. Cleaned up completely with no shingles or nails anywhere to be found. Extra bonus, I had something on the roof that I had hung and they put it back up with no problem. Great experience! Easy experience with them going through Traveler's insurance, too! Thank you!

Diamond State Roofing was very professional. They were easy to talk with and were very good with communication. They helped me get everything set up through my insurance with ease. The workers came early morning and were finished by early afternoon. They were very nice and cleaned up very well. I would highly recommend working with them.

G. Fedale Roofing and Siding

I understand that our roof was a small project and low revenue for G. Fedale, but I will not tolerate nor respect anyone treating me & our family as if we are small & unimportant.

Our project was extremely simple: house only required shingles & coverings to be replaced on the front & back roof, about 8/12 or 9/12 slope, good wood integrity, total area of about 850 sq. ft., no protrusions other than small vent pipe and the chimney on south edge (no angles, windows, dormers, etc.).

Chose G. Fedale based upon:
- competitive pricing
- expected one-day roof completion
- promised cleanup that included magnetized removal of sharps from premises
- responsiveness of salesperson to our calls

After we paid initial one-third of the quoted price, our experience changed with G. Fedale:

- much less communication, from more people unknown to us, & much slower to respond to our calls.
- G. Fedale said they were coming week of Thanksgiving, so we delayed our holiday decorating. They did not come that week, did not call.
- We were resigned to asking G. Fedale to return in Spring as temperatures were dropping, but they called & said they would do the project 12/12/23 beginning between 7:00a - 8:00a, finishing same afternoon.
- Workers arrived at 6:00a & sat in truck in our driveway until foreman arrived at 7:00a. Woke up us & our dogs.
- Roofing portion took only 1 day as promised, work completed about 4:00p. Dumpster also gone same day, was important to us.

- Workers knocked down Comcast cable coming from street into house. Never said they knocked down cable, but I saw it when I was leaving. Workers restored the cable to the eave hook, but did a poor job (2 pictures attached). Cable came down again 4 days later in rain storm. Had to go out in the rain on ladder to properly reattach cable to house.

- So far, no leaks from roof that we noticed, but haven't been able to get up to roof to fully inspect the quality of the whole work.

- Workers did just average job of cleaning lawn & house premises, removing most trash & scrap pieces. Still lots of small pieces around property, some of that to be expected.

- Workers left over 2 dozen unused nails in gutters, which I found/removed when hanging holiday lights.

- Next morning foreman returned unannounced to pick up sharps from ground, told me "...(he) forgot to bring the magnet." I told him that was important to us, it was promised in writing & an important part of our decision to hire & pay G. Fedale. He promised to return the next day with the magnet, & to call before he arrived.

- foreman never returned next day, never called in advance

Over the course of next few days I found a razor blade, 2 roofing nails, & a long wood nail on our grounds close to the house. See pictures.

- I called G. Fedale salesperson, informed him of the found sharps, told him to alert the foreman to come back to the house as promised to magnetize & remove sharps. Our dogs are at risk for cutting their foot pads, expensive veterinary treatment to stitch such injuries. Additionally, do not want to mow the lawn & shoot sharps out of the discharge & seriously injure someone.

- Neither salesman/anyone from G. Fedale returned my call.

- Called G. Fedale main office two days later, spoke live with employee, explained situation, again instructed that the foreman or someone to magnetically remove the sharps as contracted.

- Foreman came to property next day with magnet, but called me on phone to rudely antagonize me, saying there was only one nail he found so far, and that I shouldn't have called to complain because he had previously magnetically checked the premise. Even if that were true, I should never have found a razor and 3 nails (19 more today) if he used magnet as he claimed. Continued to be contentious with me on the phone, & also contentious in person with my wife who was home at the time. Finally completed his magnetic check of the grounds & left.

I give G. Fedale Roofing & Siding 2-stars out of 5, & do not recommend G. Fedale Roofing & Siding to anyone.

Addendum 12-27-23 Found 19 more nails, sharps

The team at G. Fedale was outstanding. From our first contact with the office staff to the finished job, everyone went the extra mile to make the experience easy for us. Their workers were polite and even moved our deck furniture for us, and our job was completed on time for the quoted price. Thank you, G. Fedale!

I cannot stress how impressed I have been with the professionalism and responsiveness that I received from working with G. Fedale. In particular I’d like to recognize Joey Gordon (Project Consultant) for his attention, communication, and overall success on my particular project (full roof replacement) during the planning phase and Chris Battistone (Field Project Manager) for running a tight crew during installation. After asking friends and looking through reviews, I contacted G. Fedale to look discuss replacement of my main entry door, storm door and side entry door. While waiting for the supplier to deliver the doors I also decided to have the roofing and gutters on my homes addition replaced. Dan and Joseph , walked me through the process, took measurements, offered suggestions, etc. Frank, our project manager then took over and he was great at keeping me in the loop every step of the way. Installation went well, the crew was attentive and courteous, to myself and daughter, and our pets. We truly Appreciate the door replacements done at our house. Does top notch work and great to work with. Very professional, and there to take care of my family’s biggest investment Highly recommend G. Fedale for your construction/home repair needs. P.S Purple is my favorite color and I was absolutely thrilled when told it was an option 💜

ALL UNITED Roofing and Siding, LLC

All United replaced our roof last September.   Zachary responded quickly to our request for quotation and was willing to provide everything requested.   The roof replacement was due to storm damage and the All United team scheduled the replacement within the stated time period.   There was great communication up to the date of the roof replacement.   The owner was present when the roof replacement work was being performed ensuring high quality.   The team did a great job replacing 4 skylights and installing the new roof.   In addition, two sheets of plywood were replaced without additional costs.   When the job was done, the yard was cleaned without a trace that they were here.  I highly recommend using All United Roofing and Siding.

We had our roof replaced in early November. Working with Tom and his team was a great experience. They were competitive with price, but more importantly, they did what they said they would. They explained exactly what to expect, when they would arrive and what to be prepared for.
The crew was on time and worked consistently throughout the day. Tom is very hands on and the entire crew works hard to keep the project going smoothly. Very professional and the results are beautiful.

I had a new roof installed last week by All United and am very happy with my new roof. The whole process from start to finish was great. The installation team was friendly and respectful of my property and did a beatiful job on the roof. Tom the owner came out the day of the installation then came back the following day and climbed up on the roof to inspect everything. I was very impressed by that. Overall a great experience.

I am extremely satisfied with the new roof All United Roofing installed for me. My experience from start to finish was exceptional.

To start Zack, the sales representative, was great.  He explained in detail my new roof choices, quoted me a better price for a upgraded roof based on other estimates that I've received. And he promptly answered all my questions via phone and text! Very thorough, trustworthy and confident guy. Needless to say that
I signed my contract in 24 hours which could've been timed more perfectly as they had an open spot within 5 days.

On the day prior to my project I received a confirmation call and email from the office that provided a timeline of events to expect on Installation day - from when the work crew would show up to when the dumpster and materials would arrive.

Installation day - The work crew showed up on time. They were very  professional, friendly and took the extra precautions to avoid mishaps. When they left for the day, it was like they had never been there - all the debris had been removed!

Tom, the owner came out for final expection  prior to the crew wrapping up for the day. And even he was  professional, confident, friendly,  and took the time to review our project in detail and answer any questions we had.

The next day, Tom returned for final expection and to ensure we were satisfied with the job. I was so excited,  I couldn't stop talking about how wonderful of a job his company did! Great owner = great company & crew.

Overall, I would highly recommend All United Roofing to my family and friends again and again!

I had my shed roof completely replaced by All Roofing Solutions, last month. Jack the owner was very courteous, and knowledgeable, on my roofing choices. His installers did an excellent, and professional job replacing my entire new roof. The pictures I posted are the old roof grey on left, and new brown roof on the right side. I’m very pleased with the workmanship of the installers, and quality, replacing my new roof. All Roofing Solutions did an excellent job on the installation.  The clean up was terrific!  Not a single nail was left on my driveway!  I used them on recommendation of my neighbor and I'm glad I did!

Jack of All Roofing did a superb job on our house where we needed total overhaul of the roof, skylights and gutters. The roof was dilapidated, soggy because of rain going through. All Roofing stripped the roof to the boards, replaced some of the boards that were wavy due to water damage; replaced 4 skylights with new flash kits and installed the new roof. Also they added a chimney cricket to allow water to flow away from the chimney. They finished the job by installing new gutters with leaf guard. We are very pleased by how everything turned out.
1. Jack was able to take us through all the job process; answer our numerous questions.
2. He was responsive in sending the quote and adjusting the quote when we made changes/updates before installation.
3. His quote was middle of the pack - we requested 3 quotes, one was too high, another was lower than his but we settled on his quote.
4. He was prompt on the installation date, they started and finished the whole job in 3 days and cleaned up.

Jack is super responsive and great to work with. He came for an estimate to replace all the gutters on my house on a Monday and the crew was there Friday, installing my 6k gutters in the color I needed to match my trim. Gutters are rock solid and look great. His price beat everyone too. Highly recommend.

We had roof & siding replaced. Mark was awesome, he was very knowledgeable and excellent communication. If we had any questions he was very quick and responsive. His team did fast and excellent work and great attention to detail. I would definitely recommend them for roofing and siding work. A+++

Had appt set for a roof inspection and they never showed up. Called all 3 listed numbers and none mention the company name (just a Christin) and no ability to leave a message. Very shady.

Very unprofessional, workers didn't have clue what they were doing. Absolutely did not know how properly install gutters. Left pieces of metal, screws & nails in my driveway. They just blew the that stuff up against my house & in my yard.

Brandywine Exteriors did a fantastic job on our home. We had a new roof and new siding installed. Tycos Roofing and Siding

We just had our roof replaced by Tycos Roofing and they did an amazing job!  For the size and complexity of the roof they did the work fast and left the property spotless. They were excellent with communication throughout the project. Overall, I have nothing negative to say. They gave us the best price and their work is great!  I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Recently had our roof replaced by Tycos, excellent experience. Scott came in and did initial inspection was awesome at answering my many many questions and explaining the whole process. The crew came in on time and were able to finish within 2 days, removed all debris, left my property spotless. My roof looks beautiful and received many compliments from the neighbors. Will definitely consider Tycos for other projects.

I just had a roof replaced by Tycos and I am very happy with the quality of the entire company.  The best thing is calling a company and actually talking to a person. Then having a great representative (Mark) give me a lesson on roofing. I knew that day that I would choose Tycos to do the roof. When I received a quote (including a well written contract) a few days later, I decided to go with it.  Sergio stayed one step ahead of me with phone calls for every step of the installation. The work was done on time and in one day. I did ask to have someone come back and clean up debris in the attic. (I needed 12 board replaced) and they had two men come and clean it up a few days later. I was impressed by Tycos. I would defiantly recommend this company.

We had Tycos Roofing replace my daughter’s roof.  Sergio and his guys did a beautiful job!  They were quick, efficient and kind.  And Sergio was wonderful to deal with. Afterwards, they cleaned up everything so well there wasn’t a bit of evidence that they had been there, other than a beautiful new roof!.

I can’t say enough about how good our experience has been with Tycos. We first called them to help us with Stucco removal and remediation and to replace with Hardyboard. There price was very fair. The experience was so good we also had the roof, gutters and windows done. We are so pleased with how everything came out. I would highly recommend them all.

Roofing & Siding Specialist

They replaced my entire roof on the house and garage... and by that I mean, they took it down to the bones and installed it from the plywood up! When they removed my gutters, (which were installed incorrectly), they cleaned them out and reinstalled them the right way! I was also missing a section of siding around my garage, which they installed for me as well. It was a BIG job that took them more than a few days, but they worked hard and did great work. When I got home today, everything was cleaned up and it was almost as though they hadn't even been here.  Their pricing was about half of what I was quoted by others; I'd definitely recommend them!

Joe installed a Gaf roof for us almost two years ago. He was very professional and he and his men knocked out our roof in about a day and a half. Cleaned up around the house. They were very good workers. I would recommend him and his crew if you want a very professional job.

Joe replaced my roof. He looked at it and gave me 2 choices in shingles. I went with the  premium shingle. His crew arrived at around 7am the day that we scheduled. They were finishing up by the time I got off work. Great professional crew. Lifetime GAF roof and paid half the price that some of my neighbors paid for a lesser quality roof. Highly recommend Joe.

Excel Exteriors, Inc.

As a marketeer I put a lot of faith in Google Reviews, when I researched Excel Exterior, Inc  I found a company up north with some bad reviews.  I asked Kevin to send me a list of local home owners who had used them in the last few months.  They had great things to say so we moved forward with Excel.
Now I have great things to say about Excel Exteriors, they handled the insurance claim, they protected all the plants and picked up every nail.  They completed the house and the boat house in two days.  It looks great!

Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had with a contractor. I definitely would not recommend!! Unprofessional, untrustworthy, unreliable, and I question  the product I did finally receive. Whatever you do go some where else for a roof unless you want a huge headache.

Michael Dunlavy helped me through in and outs and explained the whole insurance policiy process  I would refer him to anybody and everybody who needs a roof this company is one of the best I've ever seen and Michael is amazing!

I basically choose where my money goes based on Google reviews. I made the right choice with Adam and Excel, couldn’t have asked for a more professional experience from beginning to end. Others in my neighborhood went with lesser-known companies and got burned, but all the reviews are accurate. These folks have been around for a while and pay attention to all the details with no pressure and plenty of information. Would happily recommend to friends and family!
