Absolutely recommend these folks for roof repair and replacement. John came out last year and repaired some areas on my roof that were leaking. They gave me a quote for a new roof which they honored more than a year later even though material and labor prices have gone up. They replaced my roof and installed a new skylight in half a day; cleaned up beautifully afterwards. Completely satisfied and highly recommend!!

My neighbor got their roofing done. Their roof looks great. However, I have had the pleasure of picking up 20-30 pieces of trash that flew into my property, and they did not pick up after completing the job. See attached photos.

This business is a trusting company, they take pride in their work, very professional, licensed, insured, family owned (three generations), honest and reasonable. We had them replace our roof about 10 years ago and did such an excellent job and made no mess. I used PJ Fitzpatrick because they put in my neighbors door and it is beautiful. I’m my experience I learned that they are prompt, and the provide a great customer service. My door is beautiful and their workers are skilled in their craft. This was a smooth process from start to finish. The staff are so nice and understand their work product and they can answer all questions. This was a pleasant experience and there wasn’t  a long wait time. Now I have a beautiful and efficient door for the holidays!  I will be using them for all my home projects.

HomeStar Remodeling

I had new windows installed in my home by HomeStar Remodeling.   The installation was totally completed in one day. Installers were polite and cleaned up after themselves.  Will recommend them to anyone.  Great service and quality workmanship

We reached out to HomeStar for our roof and gutter replacement. They were very thorough explaining what the job entailed and were very responsive to any questions we had throughout the process. The crew did a great job! We definitely will recommend to our family and friends!

Update#2 (7/25/2023) Well here we are again. Another window leaking, more of the same treatment even though I was promised a different experience if this ever happened again, and just nonstop headaches. They have had over a month to address this new leak and still nothing. Now it has managed to get worse. Originally it was just drywall damage. Now the leak has gotten worse and cause the trim to separate from the wall. I can't believe we are living through this again. Do not waste your time with this company. My biggest regret as a homeowner is hiring them to do anything to my house. If I could have my old, dated, non-leaking windows back without ever having dealt with these folks I would in a heartbeat.

Update. I feel somewhat better about my experience, listed below if you care to read, they have sent a team out to address the water leaking in from the windows. So far so good and have reached out quite a few times to ensure we are satisfied and have apologized for the absurd experience we had. They informed us they reviewed all the calls and even hired more staff to quickly address problems like this in the future. I feel a bit more at ease and hope if there are anymore issues with the windows they will follow through. Summer was one of the people handling the case after being dismissed a few times and did a great job making us feel like a priority. I hope she has a huge part in the training of the new staff!  ***Absolutely horrible customer service, I am just baffled by the lack of professionalism and care they provide. I am a previous customer and had 6 windows installed by this company in April 2022. From the start, they were never on time. Delayed the installation the day of due to damaged windows from the manufacturer, which they had in their possession for at least a month. Never thought to inspect upon receiving them? Also, they did not come with screens, so we had to wait weeks after they finally installed the windows for our screens. The caulking and quality of work was much to be desired. I can go on and on about the rest of the installation. However, the most recent nightmare I am dealing with now is two of the windows they installed are leaking into the house. Not even a year later! One evening, during a typical rainy night, the windows started dripping water all from the frame and seal on the inside of the house! I attempted to contact Homestar for two days with no response other than an email asking me to fill out a service request. No one was answering my calls unless I selected a new customer looking for an installation quote. How is that standing by your customers who are part of the Homestar "family" as I've seen in responses from the company on other bad reviews? After multiple failed attempts to speak with someone who works in the correct department they called my wife's number only to offer that they are working on fitting us into the schedule and do not want to inconvenience other customers who are scheduled for installations this week.... I'm sorry, but water leaking into your house when it rains in kind of an emergency when you live in this part of the country. No sympathy or solution was offered by them other than we will contact you when we can fit you in... just mind-blowing. I hope I save someone the headache I am experiencing and hope this reaches someone in that company who can make any bit of improvement with their quality of work and customer service. HomeStar Remolding replaced out windows and our French doors. The quality is amazing and we’ve had both 4 and 2 years respectively. What’s even better than the quality of the product are the thoroughness of the process up until installation, but more so the check of satisfaction after. Their customer service is top notch. James Davis, a sales rep for Morgan came to evaluate out outdated kitchen. He gave us a lot of information and showed us many samples. After negotiations, we settled on the cabinets and counters we liked at a price we could afford. The contracted was completed quicker than he'd estimated and the work was excellent. When you own your own handyman company, there’s not much you can’t/don’t do. In our situation, one of those few things involves roofing. When we recently discovered that our own roof was in dire need of replacement, we called in Grand Exteriors LLC to do the work. Kyle came in and looked at our work scope, gave a very fair price, and completed the job in about six hours. With their very friendly workers, great work ethic and customer service, we have no hesitation with recommending them for anyone we know seeking roofing assistance.

When you price roofing the cost is very similar  from one company to the next. Rob and Kyle provide a professional  service . Their  helpful  and personal demeanor  exceded my expectations  . When I told them my roof was leaking they were here that morning to correct the leak. A week later they were  here with there crew and completed the roof in one day.  There recommendations  were helpful and there knowledge was beneficial  esthetically and structurally.

I cannot say enough about Kyle, Robert and their team. They came in and very efficiently completed the demolition, repairs, installation of the new roof and all clean-up in less than 6 hours. Back in May 2023, I contacted Grand Exteriors for cosmetic window shutters. Kyle was out to our home the very next day, taking measurements. Shutters installed soon after. Look great!

Who has a 5 star rating? These guys.  I couldn’t have been more impressed with Steve and Cameron with the job performed.  I had a front, rear and garage door replaced, as well as a new sliding patio door installed.  They were professional, timely, and the work looks amazing.  From the time I called to the time the work was completed they took time to listen, addressed any concerns, and worked with me.  The pricing was better than I could have asked for as well.  If I could give a higher rating I would.  I will recommend to anyone looking to have work done.

Recently had some siding patch work done at my house. They had the best quoted rate by $500 to the next closest quote, and they were able to work me into their schedule within a week of me reaching out for their quote. The work was done really well with great craftsmanship! HERE'S WHAT SETS THEM APART!! The week after they did their work there was a wind storm that blew through the Virginia Beach area which unfortunately damaged the area they had done work on. They were fast to send out an evaluation team to set up a plan of action. Their plan of action was to reinstall the entire side of the house. The patch work was approximately 3-5 panels of siding. The work they completed after the wind storm was closer to 30-40 panels which they completed as part of their own warranty and promise of satisfaction. PLEASE do not pass up the opportunity to reach out to this company!! The work they did prior to the storm was 5 stars worthy. The follow up work they did after the storm is just not something other companies will deliver on!!

Rob and Kevin did a phenomenal job building a back deck for my house. They kept me informed every step of the way and didn't hesitate to make any corrections or adjustments that I requested. The results speak for themselves, and I can't recommend them enough!

MRHunter Exteriors

We hired MR Hunter to replace our metal roof, replace our vinyl siding with Hardie Board siding, and build a trash can enclosure. The crew did an outstanding job. They showed up on time,  worked hard, and left the site cleaned up every night.  The finished product is beautiful! Our metal roof has lots of angles and we were a little nervous about having it replaced but they did a great job.  The roof looks amazing and so far we have had no leaking. We had a little issue with the trash can enclosure but they responded quickly and came out to address and fix the problem. -  even after being paid in full for the job. We would highly recommend this company to family and friends.

We had a very good experience with MR Hunter.   Communication was very easy throughout our project.  Work crew was always on time, friendly, and worked hard all day.  Their attention to detail was incredible.  And they efficiently figured out how to rectify some underlying water-damaged areas.  We are so happy with the finished product- new roof, new siding, new soffits , and new gutters.  We would highly recommend MR Hunter LLC !

MRHunter Exteriors responded so quickly when I had a leak in my skylight.  They put me on the schedule so fast and managed to get the new roof and new skylight in just before the long week of rain! Mike and his crew were great to work with.  Mike listened to what we wanted and talked about all the possibilities.  We decided on insulated vinyl siding and it turned out perfectly. MR Hunter is my new favorite business.  We needed to have two items repaired on our roof. I contacted them and got a quick response which included an up front estimate. In two days from start to finish I called, received a quote, and the job is now complete. This was the best experience I have had with a contractor. We will be using them next time!

Noland's Roofing Inc.

Approximately 6-8 years ago, Noland’s Roofing Company was recommended to me by a close friend.  After Noland roofing installed a new roof, I always questioned why Noland’s Roofing did not install a new skylight. The original skylight when my home was built in 1999 remained.  In addition, the left hand corner of my garage ceiling began to leak and cause water stains every time it rained. In  2022: still under warranty, Noland’s roofing had to repair the shingles and the leaking section of the roof above my garage 3 times in less than 2 weeks- the repairs were not done properly. They sent a contractor to repair and paint the damaged dry wall in my garage. That job was well done!  In 2020, a squirrel gained access into my attic through an improperly sealed section of my roof by Noland’s Roofing.  I received confirmation of this after I hired the Animal Wildlife Company to seal all the openings in the corner edges of windows, roof over garage and skylight areas on my roof.  An employee from  Animal Wildlife removed the deceased squirrel.  April. 25, 2023,  a historic Hail Storm damaged my skylight and roof.  Brain from Noland’s roofing failed to put in a prompt work order to have a tarp installed on my broken skylight to prevent any leaking from the rain.  Brian stated, “You have to pay $2,500.00 if you want your skylight replaced and $740.00 if you want a tarp installed on your broken skylight until the roofing repairs begin(s)..”  Shockingly, I am still under warranty contract.  Unfortunately, this did not prevent Brain from creating new contract for $25,,000.00 which I did not sign because my roof was still under warranty. I called to speak to the owner.  The Manager, Destiny, was unprofessional and refused to allow me to speak to the owner.  In addition, she hung up the telephone on me. Destiny was uncooperative, unprofessional and she did not address any of my concerns regarding the warranty and incomplete/improper roof repair that was done approximately 6-8 years ago. I do not recommend anyone to use this roofing company for roof repairs/projects. I believe this is not a customer friendly business.  Based upon my experience, they were not honest and they over charged me with low quality materials and services.  It’s unfortunate, it took me several years to discover all the roofing errors Noland’s Roofing have made while still under warranty.

Outstanding company to handle your roof replacement!  I had some some intensive interior damage that was due to some unknown roof issues.  Brian came out and gave me a quote and walked me through the whole process on what they can do to help with all of the required repairs.  Super friendly guy and very informative!  Noland's handle everything for me and was able to get my roof replaced as well as repair all of the damage inside my home.  The roofing crew was very fast and professional.  They did an awesome job cleaning up afterwards around the yard.  All of the staff working in the home office are super friendly and helpful as well.  The sub contractors they used for the interior work (Paint and Drywall) were awesome too.  Highly recommended!

Noland’s Roofing went above and beyond the norm to help us file our insurance claim.  Ben did a great job documenting the storm damage on our roof resulting in insurance company approval of our claim.  The actual replacement work done by Josh and his team was amazing.  From first light to sun down they removed the old shingles, installed the new roof and did a full cleanup.  Noland’s Roofing team did a great job.  I can and will recommend them to any homeowner in need of quality roof work.

After hurricane IAN, still with no insurance money yet, we contacted 3 roofing contractors from our homeowners insurance preferred vendors list. Noland's Roofing was the only one to call back and they gave us an appointment within 2 days. A very experienced and knowledgeable Johnathan Hunter inspected the roof then gave us a great deal plus a bunch of payment options. The next morning Rene Burton was available to take our down payment prior to the contract being entered into their system which meant extra work for her. Now that is customer service from both employees! I will add a review of the roof replacement and cleanup once it's completed.

Mike Erb's team came on the Thanksgiving holiday week to repair and install the new roof. They worked from 730 am to dark both days and the roof is now completed! They did a tremendous job with a meticulous clean-up after! See the in progress and final pics:

Grant & Sons Roofing & Siding

Called a few roofing companies, Grant & Sons what the most professional. They are an established company in Milford De. They other companies seemed to just be a guy and a truck. They have some impressive equipment to help get the job done quickly. The crew is local and all speak English, this is very helpful to make sure the job gets done correctly!

We started having an issue with water spots showing up on the ceiling of our master bedroom after multiple days of heavy rains. From what I could see, it looked like the collar around the vent pipe had cracked. I called and Robert came out to check it out, and said he could repair everything while he was there. That was fantastic, since we have never had a company do same day work. The work he did was fantastic and even explained exactly what he was going to do. Our roof is starting to get up there in age, and know when we go to have it replaced, Grant and Sons is the first one we are going to call. Stellar job!

Grant and Sons did an amazing job putting on my new roof. The office staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The roofers were on time and did a fantastic job. No wonder they've been around for so long. Would certainly recommend to friends and family.

This company is a joke, their receptionist could not even call me back. After four days and countless phone calls, I had to go with another company. Would not recommend them for any roofing repairs. The worst customer service I have experienced.

Grant and Sons has done any work I've needed done to my roof over the past 10 years.  I've also recommended them to all of my friends and family and had nothing but positive feedback.  They're timely, have extremely competitive prices, do great work and are very friendly.

If these winds keep up, I'm sure I'll be seeing a lot more of them this year, until I finally get them to replace the whole roof (the house is only 10 years old, and they didn't put the original roof on unfortunately...or else I wouldn't be having these problems).
