Polks Discount Drugs #5

I had a busy Monday at work and then on top of that the medication I take was on back order at the pharmacy I typically use.  I had my NP call around to find out if there was another local pharmacy that had the medication in its generic form on hand. Polk’s Drugs in Richland had it.  I was charged $55 more than I paid for it last month (which is fine. I have to have it). When I asked why it was so much more expensive, the pharmacist told me that the reimbursement was not good and that they couldn’t just “eat $40.” I totally understand that.  The pharmacy tech asked me a question to which I answered. At that time, the pharmacist was extremely rude and said “could you just let me finish before you cut me off?!”
I was so caught off guard!!! I quickly responded to him that I was simply responding to the question the tech had just asked me.
I just wonder if this is typical treatment for customers in this pharmacy. I know that I typically don’t use this pharmacy but had thought that I may just switch.  This would have been a great opportunity for them to earn a new customer. After thinking more about how this situation played out, I would rather just not have the medication than ever go back there.

Great People! Friendly Staff!  Fast, courteous service.  Staff is always willing to help with any questions that you may have.  In the rare instance that they don't have a particular prescription in stock, they generally have it the next day.

They are very helpful and my medication is always ready.

This brand of stores are is so overrated, they never change. Their service as awful as always.
But my wife insisted to have dinner there, so I give it a chance and went in.
After seating for 20 minutes, finally a waitress came with the dirtiest "clean" napkins I ever seen, all spotted with coffee and salsa stains.
So, I told her, she pick them up and left for other 10 minutes. She came back to offer drinks and asked if we're ready to order... "And the menus?" I asked. She replied "You have to use the QRC from the table, because I can't find any painted menus".
So another 30 minutes while I dl/install the app using their terrible internet speed, check the menu, and wait for her to notice I'm calling back.
To resume: The soups we ordered were somewhat cold (we wouldn't wait other 20 minutes for re-heat) and tasteless.
My son ordered a burger...a McDonalds cheese burger would beat the c**p he got.
I ordered rolled tacos, they were very tiny and slim, came with something that resembled guac, but were just chunks of avocado sprinked with pieces onion, tomato and jalapeno, and some fried beans that I bet were from a can.
My wife got the lousiest, sad tiny enchiladas I have ever seen in my life. Just some drops of salsa, some threads of chicken and sprinkled with some cheese, accompanied with a salad that appeared to be made two days before.
All that s**t for the price of us$70, and the lady at the register asked me if I would leave a tip... I just laughed.
There's an Applebees next door, next time I rather go there.
I don't recommend Sanborn's to anyone.

The best bakery you can find in Ciudad Juarez,  highly recommend,  restaurant food is very good not excellent but really good quality,  nice flavor. You have to visit the place when you be in cd. juarez.

The food is decent but the service is REALLY bad. Plan to be there for two hours at least.

The place smelled like sewage. They gave us two menus then took one away because there were not enough. Two waitresses for the whole restaurant and bakery area. We walked out because of lack of serve and awful smell. Not what this restaurant used to be. It's very sad!!

I’ve been a customer ever since they opened. Good products, priced well and now they are remodeling the internal layout which makes it easier to navigate.

they intercommed over the realy loud mic for a young lady with her 2 kids to pay for the fruit they bit even though they had put it back in the bag with the rest, they still decided to keep anouncing to the whole world comments related to the bitten fruit she was already paying for untill she finaly got to the cashiers. poor mother she didnt deserve to be hummiliated like that!

This place has a lot of little stores, they have boutiques, herbs, Mexican pottery, food, plus Soriana store, I had so much fun and found everything I was looking for!!

Brain Balance Center

We have loved getting to work with Brain Balance. Our son has completely done a 180. He has Autism and ODD and has improved beyond our expectations. I would highly recommend Brain Balance to anyone who has a child in need. It is expensive, but well worth every penny. This has completely changed the dynamic of our family for the good.

I'm very skeptical of this process. We were told by brain balance that our daughter still had all her primitive reflexes, however when tested by a developmental ophthalmologist and later a psychologist they said that she did retain any of her primitive reflexes. I read the book and based on her symptoms and at home testing thought that she had a left brain deficiency, but they told us she had a right brain deficiency. Also the price is outrageous especially if you break it out per hour. We're working with a DO and PhD directly for her ADHD and dyslexia and the cost is less per hour plus Brain Balance doesn't allow partial refunds which is just a good business practice.

Brain Balance has changed our family's life for the better! Our daughter had a negative start to Kindergarten and 1st grade and suddenly became extremely anxious about everything from school, being separated from us, or trying new things.  She had difficulty learning and focusing due to her anxiety.  Our counselor at church recommended Brain Balance to us and it has changed her world! She is now back to our confident, fun and adventurous daughter! The staff in Katy (and the dietitians online) are wonderful! They genuinely care and are eager to help your child reach their fullest potential.  The child development information they base their program on has been eye-opening! Our 7 year old daughter jumped up 6 reading levels in 2 months and went from a 4-5 year old development level to a 7-8 year old development level after just 3 months in the program. Even though it was all completely overwhelming as a parent in the beginning, we chose to dive in 100% with the nutrition program. It opened our eyes to the root of a lot of stomach issues our daughter had been dealing with for over a year and she noticed a huge difference when eating much healthier.  It also expanded the palate of our 3 year-old son and has made our entire family healthier! We are very grateful for finding Brain Balance sooner than later and are eager to see how this helps positively shape our daughter's future!  We highly recommend Brain Balance !!

Brain Balance has been a blessing to our daughter and our family. It helped her tremendously to improve her speech, attention, academics and self confidence. The people working at brain balance are kind and caring and really put and effort towards the kids wellbeing. The program is designed for families to work together with the center. We had to work hard and continue to work hard for the program to give the best results to our daughter!

This is a pretty bad spot.  Sorry to give these many negative reviews, but quality and hygiene are on the low on most public places. This place is more for local shoppers.  Do not expect anything fancy. And stay away from the restrooms. Also, this is a high crime area in Juarez.

Bathroom needed cleaning asap, asked "guy who was in charge of putting gel & checking temperature" he said maintenance guy I asked maintenance guy & he said someone else would come & take care of it, then I asked another employee & she said they were short staff but someone would take care of it. Waited 30 minutes & finally maintenance guy was coming to clean it.

The people were so nice  and I feel like they truly cared about my injury. I've used them before and check in was easy, and they walked me out. Very pleased.

I held a spot through the website. I was notified they were running behind which was nice I was made notified. The wait wasn't too bad. Every single staff member from check in to the person who walked me out were extremely nice the entire time. I know that has to be hard for them this time of year seeing 80+ patients a day. I appreciated their kindness and attentiveness.

It took three hours for me to get seen but it is peak flu season and it was the Friday before New Year’s eve. They were the only urgent care open and they were doing their best. Everyone was super professional and once I got into the room, it was fast and efficient. Besides the wait time, it was excellent service.

Honestly this was the worst place I have been to in a long time. The wait is ridiculous and the run around I had to just get a physical and a TB test done was absurd. I literally went in to get a TB test and physical done for my job. Getting my TB test was good the nurse was super nice. She told me to come back and they would fill out my paper for me. I then returned two days later 8:00 AM to be told that I needed a physical for 75$. I understand needing the physical part but where in the world did 75$ come from. I had already paid 30$ for my TB test. He then told me that it was going to be a 3 hour wait. I opted to come back on Monday again at 8:00 AM. I walked in and signed in At the front desk knowing I would need a physical. I got a code sent to my phone with more paperwork. I had filled the paperwork out two days prior so I thought I was okay when it came to that stuff because it was asking for insurance and stuff again. When people started being called ahead of me when I knew I was there before them I went and asked an ETA on me going back for my simple physical. The lady the. Says I didn’t fill out the paperwork. But I already signed in at the front desk. There was then 10 people ahead of me. The front desk lady then says it’s my fault that that many people are ahead of me now. (I do take responsibility for not filling out the paperwork online) but they should have told me that I needed to AGAIN for the second time in two days. (It was my first time to this place. The lady was rude. I was there for a simple physical. Never in my life have I had this much trouble for a few physical or TB test. I will not be back!

The office and staff were very helpful friendly, and clean. There was a longer wait this time, but it's that time of the year. Everyone is sick , I have been to that clinic before and I will go back.
