Clerk was rude even after I said hello and how are you? Then I purchased gas and need change for a 20 and she said that the store doesn’t have that type of money this late at night which was fine so I said well i will pay for gas with that and sell me a pack of gum with the 20 she had an attitude so I said hey are you having a bad night?? If so sorry would it have made a difference that I would have two transactions I just needed change but I guess the world is just on edge and that’s cool but don’t treat your customers as if they aren’t spending money to help your establishment continue!! An or don’t show up to work! Won’t go there again am glad I didn’t fill my tank up when I started to! DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Beware. After someone's problems with a pump that wasn't marked out of service. They approved someone else for prepaid gas on a pump where I was already at. I swiped my card, waited, and pumped. Nothing was said until I was pulling away that there was someone else's money on the pump and I hadn't paid. When I came in the attendant tried to charge me the amount that was already prepaid. $40 when I only pumped $27ish. It was resolved that I gave the other person $27 in cash, but I bet the attendant totally messed up the other person's transaction too after trying to double bill the $40. This was totally mishandled and the attendant was not appropriate to the customer and didn't take responsibility for her negligence. I hope they look at the camera footage, because it's all there. I've never had anything happen like this.

Stated 4.20 on Google map, but actually 4.50! Then their system froze, but the mean manager accused me of causing trouble and yelled at me while her employee quietly acknowledged it was the system’s fault.

Worst customer service i have ever experienced. 9 a.m. on a Sunday morning and I was the only customer and the clerk was rude and condescending, making it clear that she perceived this
customer as an interruption to her day. Perhaps she doesn't realize that there are 100's of other stations to choose from. I won't be back to this one.

It is my favorite place to fill up as it is easy to get in and out of and it the people are always helpful. I have had some problems with the pumps from time to time and some times it get a little crowded.

If you’re low on gas and you’d like to use their pump 10 minutes before they close, don’t even mind. They stopped my pump at $0.12 and turned off all the lights. Very rude considering it takes a few minutes to fill up.

DONT USE A CARD HERE! Prepaid for $15, the pump only let me pump $9.39 and I got charged the $15 and the $9. They said contact my bank nothing they can do. 2 card readers up front, shady as all heck.

Staff need training. Bad customer services skills. Having a conversation and not even looking at customer when checking out. Using swear words. Very improper.

This is a station in my home town. It's little but they stock a lot of different products. The bathroom is clean. The owner is an awesome person, the staff is friendly and very helpful. They even have slots machine's.

Gas is good but never buy drinks. The had 2 for 3.50 for 20oz coke and I got charged 3.98 plus 36 cent for tax.  It's not the first time but it will be the last for me.

Went there to get gas they were out of gas so I told her I would just buy my stuff somewhere else and left out but then I came back in and decided to get the other stuff anyway and she said
“I won’t sell to you”

Just extremely rude and I’ll happily never go there again simply because I value my hard earned dollars and I care who I give it too smh

Don’t waste your time or money on trying to fill up your tires here. The front desk won’t help and their air doesn’t work anyway

I prepaid twice and the pump never activated and I never got gas. Clerk was useless, just muttered unintelligible answers when I asked for a receipt showing that my prepay was refunded. Refused to provide receipt.

Very strange cashier, I dont recommend this shell station.

I politely asked the cashier on duty about a coupon and her response to the question was shocking - the cashier told me she was using her right to refuse service and I was asked to leave - I asked why I was being refused and then told she would call the police if I did not leave - very very odd behavior.

This made no sense at all - she had no nametag, no manager on site, so I went across the street to the other gas station.

They expect you to prepay or pay the pump which is fine, but wont provide you with a receipt at the pump. This has been a ongoing problem for at  least a year or so. The staff told me that corporate doesn't care and wont fix the problem and you can tell they are frustrated as well. I have called the owner gpm investments several times and no one ever replies. I stopped going there and tried it again today and it's still not fixed.

Most pumps are out of service.  My pump #2 the handle leaks gas all over me.  Station just seems dirty and not kept up.  Only one person working inside so it can take awhile if buying something.  There gas just always is a little bit more expensive than the ones across the street.

I live just outside of Springfield and have a gas card with Shell. I have to visit weekly for gas... And unfortunately this is the closest one to me. The service is terrible!!! There is never clean windshield fluid, paper towels, or receipt paper which forces me to come inside and wait on an attendant to decide when they want to come out from the back just to have an attitude and be rude. Their signs never work and the pumps areas are always dirty. I will not be returning!!

I went in to the Clearlake Shell Station in Springfield, IL to get lottery tickets, abt 6:20 pm on Wed, June 30th. The gas pumps were busy.  There was one person in front of me, the cashier (Cheyenne) had her cell phone ON SPEAKER talking to a friend while waiting on customers!  When it was my turn, she said hold on a minute (to me) and she did some calculating on her phone while the friend continued to talk to her!  I wanted tickets, so I told her what I wanted; she told her friend to " hold on a minute" and she waited on me, all the while the friend was talking non-stop.  I could not believe how UNPROFESSIONAL this cashier was!  There were 2 more customers behind me and I'm sure they heard the same things I heard and got the same bad service.  This employee needs disciplined!  If this is what goes on when there is no supervision there, I will NOT be returning to this station!

I swear, as gas prices go up, service goes down. I spend SO MUCH MONEY go gas, the least you can do is have window fluid and paper towels. NONE of the stations have this. Get it together big oil. You can steal from our pockets but at least give us window fluid.

I work here so I could admittedly give a best rating but it would be a lie.  New owners have cut hours to barebones and fight us to get our equipment running. Our registers are constantly screwing up, and the pump printers need replaced because they're out of date and not upgradeable.

My cashiers do they're best, but when you're cutting help and maintenance hours too keep the store stocked and outside clean and then blame us for sales being down it's a wonder any of us are willing to come in and get screamed and tore down from the animosity we receive regularly.

I went in to get coffee. I fell in front of the cash register. The floor was wet. No wet floor sign. The cashier looked over the desk and said be careful the floor is wet. Never asked if I was ok. My leg is hurting soo bad now. I will never go back there again.

The clerk that’s typically working when I visit is super friendly. The store always seems to be in stock. The gas station would get five stars, however, it’s location is within Peoria’s more dangerous neighborhoods and isn’t recommended for trips on foot, Bradley students, or for out-of-town travelers.

I only use the CFCU bank located  inside this gas station.  Parking spaces are line to tight to park my truck in between. So I  have to take up two spaces. Use causing if you stop. Some days its6 okay to stop in here other days it not feel safe. This station has been robbed before, FYI.

The guy at the register was nice but the place does not feel safe. A disheveled woman was begging for money, right outside the front door. Right next to her was a young man who appeared to be doing nothing of significance. He was just standing there, idle. Could he have been up to no good? I don't know, nor do I want to know. Even though Huck's is a tiny bit farther of a drive, I will be going to Huck's from this point on.

The workers are always respectful and content and happy emotional and physical. They are super busy, but always get things done

costumer service is amazing. I honestly love those guys,respectful and kind and they have everything in that station!

Great station just never is open 24 hours anymore huge disappointment for those who work early morning was only place in Lebanon we can go. Please change hours to reflect what you will have open

Love everyone who works there. They all know me and my kids as we know them all by name. Makes living in a small town even better

Very nice worker, stopped to use the restroom on a long trip and as soon as I walked in I was greeted with a smile and a nice welcome.

Gasoline is of low quality. It also cost more compared to its competitors that are closer to the highway (Philip 66 and Mobil).

STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE!!! Worker accused us of stealing and after we emptied our pockets to show that we did not steal anything, he threatens to call the cops and took the items we had paid for. Also tried to fight us and said some very inappropriate things.

The cashier Lexie blows my mind with her lack of capability. Stop asking me for tips when I buy a 99 cent soda. Embarrassing. Then refuses service after I mention it to her boss. Such a shame I can’t even go to the gas station down the road from me. Guess I’ll have to take my daily business elsewhere.

Girl working nights there regularly puts out a tip jar and begs my friends and myself for money. Super uncomfortable. Also, she needs to take a shower. Hygiene 0 stars.

Something is wrong with the pumps. I entered my Rewards number and it accepted it, but did not apply the discount.

There's a sewage problem and the station smells. You can't use the ATM while the register is in use with a credit card purchase. Very annoying. A friend had money taken from his card but was not dispensed to him due to one phn line operating both ATM and register credit card swiper

Pretty gross place with unprofessional staff. I’d just get your gas and not go inside.

Nice to have them in town but if you have to prepay be prepared that they say they only credit back to  your debit card.  They don’t do that and will not pay in cash. I’m reporting to Attorney General office.  This has happy to me twice. Phone number is out of service.

This gas station parking lot only has one entrance. It is really hard to get out of this parking lot.  Especially, when there are three or more cars here.  I typically back in from the road up to the gas pumps so, I can get out easily.

It's an ok station for a small town. It's overly cramped inside with lots of display racks. It's a small place so I understand they have to get as much stuff inside as possible, it just seems like there might just be too much. The parking is atrocious! It probably is the worst parking layout in the history of gas stations! LOL

The parking lot situation here has always been unfortunate, but the staff make up for it. Very friendly.
I've never got bad fuel here, and make it a point to stop in whenever I can.

I have gone to this station for 10 years. I won't be back. They card people that are 60+ for beer and today for a pack of cigarettes. The girl working has a personality of a slug

Unlawfully held $ on my card that i was not able to pump! And then nobody answers there phone, always a line, horrible ill run out of gas before i go back

In the process of trying to fix the situation wich has still not been resolved the way, called the police on me while i was there with my 2 yr old..... me nor my son scared of police we pay there salary! Asst manager is a liar and a horrible individual! I got banned feom store.... as if i would EVER come back!!

Don't bother using your Fuel rewards discount.. the attendants never give you the money back from your rewards card whether it be the Shell Fuel Rewards or the Kroger... in the past 2 years i've gotten just three discounts .. they either need to stop yappin with the customers so much and pay attention  or something

High staff turnover but overall a good gas station. Public restroom and handicap accessible parking and entrance but the restroom is not really to handicap accessible

Stopped to use bathroom and the guy behind the counter wouldnt let anybody use the restroom. And was very rude about it
