SORRY EXCUSE OF A STORE...This store is an absolute joke!!! Been out of some items for months. Who knows if they'll actually have what you went in for. Employees claim they have no control over what is delivered to the store. So Dollar General  just sends random stuff to the store? WHAT A JOKE!!! Shelves are empty more times than not. Almost a waist of time going there. Better off going to a different location.

They only had 1 of 2 items that I wanted.  Told me that they would have it for Memorial Day.  It does me no good when I need it for the grave flowers, for my wife's grave for Easter.  Then they wonder why people go to Wal-Mart.  It is because they!  have what I need.  The only thing is they are a 30 mile round trip/2 gallons of gas as DG is only 6 miles.  But when they don't have what I need it is a trip and gas wasted.

The two exceptional men/clerk's were knowledgeable and very helpful. Unfortunately, the clientele were very rude to them and the clerk handled it well.  Job well done to the both of you!!

Absolutely horrible!!!! It is so messy and unorganized. Half the isles were not even shoppable because of large carts of unopened boxes. Messy, dirty, unorganized.

It is exactly what you would expect a Dollar General Store to be. Often you will find items  still in the boxes waiting to be stocked to the shelves for the most part they usually have all items in stock. The employees are friendly and helpful although on one occasion I did encounter a very rude cashier. There seems to be a high turnover rate of employees for some reason.

Shell

This is for me a neighborhood has station. It's neat and clean plus close. I dropped a club membership because this was closer and normally similar in price for gas. I also don't have to sit in line waiting for a pump. Good spot to stop.

Better now that I can use my rewards card at the pump without running inside like some caveman. Prices are higher than other stations though so not first choice.

Was pretty decent place to visit, local downtown gas station so was easy to get in and out of. Prices on gas was decent and inline with everyone else. Only bad thing in found was stopped in the morning to get gas and went in side to get a breakfast sandwich and they had nothing.

They have a nice assortment of iced tea and snacks I like for on-the-go. The employees are always kind. I like that this location is right off the interstate also.

I go here frequently and their service is always friendly and 5/5

I remember a number of years back when this gas station ceased to operate. It remained dormant for a number of years, though now it has resumed operations as a Shell Station managed by the fine people that run Q C Mart.

I'm happy that they have begun operating again. With this place closed and Azteca 2 ceasing operations, this corner of Davenport looked really sad for a while. This Shell station looks really new now, including what appear to be new pump operators and credit card payment stations at the pumps.

I didn't purchase gas at this location on my last visit - I only stopped by Q C Mart for a drink. I did peruse the pumps and it appeared all of them were in working order at the time. I saw two people pull up and pump gas while I was here, as well. They did not appear to be having any difficulty accomplishing this.

If I needed gas and couldn't make it to Costco, I'd consider stopping by here in the future. Again, glad to see the place is up and running again.

Diesel pumps have pay at pump and the diesel is $.50 a gallon less than a station a couple miles away .

Gas is cheap and the pumps were easy to use. However there is a spelling error on all the pumps. Look at photo:

"Prey-pay inside" should be "Pre-Pay Inside"

If the spelling was correct it would be 5/5 stars

Experience was fine until I got home and realized that the pack of smokes I had purchased were not in the bag and when I tried to call the number listed it says it’s not in service.

This is the worst gas station n the Q.C. ta go 2. Second time I've stopped there 2 fill up/top off. Wasnt able ta do so, I will never be back, and I'll also spread the word 2 others not 2 stop there.

The two gals who were working are amazing people.
The one she gave my dog a treat and made me smile today. She was very polite and asked permission to pet and give my dog a treat. She has yellow hair and is super awesome.
My other dog got put to sleep today at age of 16 so I was heart broken and her small act of kindness really made me feel happy and my dog was happy getting a treat. Thank you.

Usually very helpful, but one of their employees so overly courteous, it is to the point of being obnoxious. Plus he never understands how to run a gas transaction when I'm using my Hy-Vee rewards card and paying inside with gift cards.

It's an ok Shell! Bathrooms really need some work especially since its a high traffic store they are not well taken care of! Clerks are nice and friendly! It's a typical Shell just need to refresh and tlc!!!

There's gas station to get gas. Shell gas stations are known for gas so if you want to put gas and expect to pay the price for it here is where you go to know what you're getting

I stopped by the Q C Mart for a drink tonight and saw this Shell Station. It's actually kind of curious - most Q C Marts I've been to (in fact, all the other ones I've visited) have BP stations next to them. Strange, right?

Anyhow, this Shell Station both appears clean and modern. I walked up to the pumps themselves for a closer look and confirmed that, indeed, the cleanliness holds up upon closer inspection as well. The payment stations on the pumps visible to me appeared to be in working order, as well.

I did not need gas tonight, so I did not actually use this station. I would not object to getting gas here in the future if I needed to, however. Q C Mart runs a good business, and this Shell appears to be well maintained and kept up. Thanks Shell.

Price was reasonable but I arrived shortly before midnight and it was empty but all the lights inside and outside were on. I pulled up and put my car in park and took a minute to collect my things, then they turned all the outside lights off. Big safety concern, especially while traveling alone at night as a female.

Edit: pump was very slow and after only a few gallons the pump shut off too (before the tank was full, just totally lost power) and the inside was still lit.

I returned to this gas station almost one year later since I was passing through. Still a clean, well organized gas station.

Nice gas station off the interstate. Accepts Shell Fuel Rewards. Attendant was helpful in finding eyedrops since my contacts were irritating me. Bathrooms were clean.

Convenient location when our car needed some coolant on a cold day with a beautiful view of the river and friendly attendants who helped us get safely back on the road!

We were running on fumes. Pulled up to pump cleared all debit card info approved while pump was on.Turned pump off before we could get gas.They saw we were there. Told them the situation and they would not turn pump back on.

Food is absolutely FIRE! Friendly workers. BUT THE PIZZA?! WOAH, mama! BEST AROUND! Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because they frequently forget to put in a pizza that I had ordered for pick up.

Cheap gas, great location for gas.

The gas pumps chip card reader doesn't work and when you go inside to pay they don't ask you for your fuel rewards because they don't want you to save money, coffee wasn't already made

I bought $100 in Lotto tickets for Christmas stockings tonight about 5:30. When I got home I found I was short 10 of the $1 Holiday Cash Doubler tickets. I wanted to count them but the cashier was extremely rude and gave me the bum’s rush. I hope whoever got my $10 wins something.

Truck diesel available and also have 3 space parking space for trucks behind Fuel station, others around building 6 more spots. Subway shop hours from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Lousy employees, Diesel service is even worse it takes them forever to authorize pumps you have to walk in and then walk back out to fill up and then walk back into pay. Half the time the rewards don't even work because their computers are down, and their restroom facilities half the time haven't been cleaned in a day or so.

Horrible service! I'm in a wheelchair and need help pumping gas lady seemed annoyed my windshield wiper left huge streak in windshield I kindly asked if she could assist with that too. She made a lame excuse about not being good at it so wouldn't help me. Come on any help is appreciated! That will be my last visit there!!!!!!

I stopped in to use the restroom and grab a snack and right away noticed how nice and clean it was but when I got to the counter the nicest woman on the planet was on the other side. It’s about 3 hours from my hometown but after 10 minutes in there I left felling like I’d spent the day with my grandma. I will make it a regular stop on my trips to Edwardsville.

Extremely clean station and the best part is they were VERY NICE folks. I had a major vehicle issue while driving on a Sunday morning from Illinois to Mississippi. Subaru Roadside was virtually useless. The Shell attendants helped me locate a local man who helped me with my problem to help get me back on the road. Definitely stop here if you need gas. Small town hospitality goes a LONG WAY.

Places have got to quit treating people with backpacks as if they were thieves. You don't ask women to leave their purses at the front, so don't ask me to leave my pack. You don't trust me not to put things in the pack, so why would I trust you not to take my things out of it? One of us has cameras, and it's not me. It's a pointless and stupid practice. The thieves are the ones charging over 3 bucks for a candy bar! Food Mart down the street was happy to take my money, and not ask me to hand my personal property over to the store while I shop.

Just found out one of the employees is using a skimmer. Some red headed lady. Said my card was decline for a purchase but the money was still taken off of my card. SMH this used to be such a good place

The whole gas station is a circus. I wanted to buy a shell gift card and the attendant did not know how to key it in the system. At the moment, system was down for customers with credit cards which have a chip. No signs of salts or plowing in the lot. Terrible customer service.

I was waiting in line, mind you there was two lines open. I was already up at the counter and the MANGER said I could help whoever is next and pulled the girl over  from the other line. I was confused and she said "that's how we do it here" I then replied well I was in line next and she continued to argue with me and said I was not ,and that the other lady was . My mom them said that is not how you treat your customers and she wanted to speak to the manger then she replied she was the manger . She walked to the back of the store mouthing the whole time . I will never shop their again. It was my first time and defintlely my last. I work in Retail and costumers are the number one priority . I will make sure to tell all my friends what a bad experience I had . That was sicking. I will be contacting corporate tomorrow .

BEWARE!!!! DO NOT BUY Gift cards in this store. THEY CHEAT you!. I bought Amazon gift cards for 125$ and got cheated. Store manager and another employee by name 'MIKE' were very rude when i questioned. They took the receipts of my purchase and my phone number 3 months ago. They said they will verify my purchase against their records and get back to me. After that they never responded even after me visiting/calling them every week. I stopped fueling and purchasing anything thereafter from that store.
