BODYBAR Pilates - Sarasota

I have been going to Pilates at BodyBar Sarasota since the grand opening when I signed up. Veronika’s intro class was only 20 mins long and it was super motivating. Since I live downtown the location is super convenient but there’s always somewhere to park (public parking lots, garage, or metered street side.) The instructors all have their own style and it shows with the music and series of movements for the classes. I have taken the reformer, classic, power tower, jump, express abs/arms, and mixed equipment. There is a class that will fit everyone and every level. I love the reformer machine. It is so unique and can be used so many different ways! As for the classes, I mix it up so some days I have a less intense day because you do get sore from the classes. I have been working on my strength (body weight + resistance from the spring) and balance with a focus on core. As a gym girly, I never really focused on these type of movements. This studio/class style Pilates was a lot more active than my memory of any other Pilates I have done. I definitely recommend the BodyBar in downtown Sarasota. It is mostly women, which is a nice change from the normal gyms. You will notice that everyone is focusing on themselves in the mirror and not judging you. I really enjoy the class and feel great afterward. Come check it out! Photo was my first class when I brought my friend from out of town. She loved it, too!

I joined as a founding member and I have ZERO regrets.  I was a member of another studio for quite some but the workouts seemed limited. BODYBAR is not like that at all. I love how challenged I feel and how I started with shaking legs feeling like I would not be able to keep up to going 4-5 times a week and feeling energized after each workout. I am able to change it up even more by having the ability to go to Sarasota or Lakewood Ranch Studio which is an awesome perk. The instructors are all amazing and are always watching to make sure you have the correct form. I would highly recommend joining

I had been wanting to try Pilates classes for a while and I was so excited to have BODYBAR open in Sarasota. I love that they many different classes everyday. That alone is very convenient and keeps me motivated to get to class often. I’m having so much fun trying the different classes and instructors. Every one has been fun and challenging. I love the instructors. They have been so helpful, welcoming and friendly. During class they are motivating, clear and supportive. I really love this studio and community.

Truly one of the most welcoming pilates studios I’ve ever been to. I have been doing Pilates for 3 years and only saw minor results and improvements. Since I switched to BODYBAR I can honestly say I’ve never felt stronger and more confident. Plus the classes are a blast and the instructors keep you in your toes with a new workout every week. Definitely check it out if you’re looking for an effective 50minute class downtown!!

If you’re looking for great trainers who care about you and listen to your needs to make sure you’re on the right path to success in Pilates then BodyBar is it!!! Amazing trainers and great staff.  The owners go above and beyond focused on their customers.  This is the best Pilates studio that I have been to and other Pilates studios should learn from them!

Great department store and friendly service. Would be nice if they carried men’s clothing that was a little less trendy and more practical, like permanent press stuff with easier home washing.

Im not a big fan of this place. Prices are high and most of the things you buy here you can find them cheaper else where. Service is not a big deal, you will get better service also in other places. I will visit again and will inform.

-I like to think that im honest dude.. although; in spite of the fact that when you are at the coffeehouse and order a coffee (cappuccino) w/ Bailey's on it and get just hot light-coffe whit foam and w/a small piece of hair on it?! And top of that order a biscuits and red fruit and get a Burger bun w/ smucker's really? I don't even remember the name of that place but is the one next to the bank (banorte's building) wack AF!  The only upstanding of that secund-rate place was the pianist! No mames!

Village Shoes

Best shoe store I have ever gone to. Let me just qualify…they specialize in comfort. But,  there is nothing frumpy about their inventory. Great sales people and an all around excellent retail experience.

My family always has a great experience here. The owner is so friendly and helpful.  We initially came for dance clothing and shoes and my children now go for their shoes.  They are patient and always have great recommendations.  My kids always look forward to a trip to Village Shoes!

Went to Village Shoes for the first time today to get snow boots for my 7 year old son.  Great experience.  Frank, the owner, was welcoming and very nice/kind to my son.  Beautiful store with large selection.  With Frank’s expertise, we found exactly what we wanted at a very reasonable price.  I highly recommend this place and we will be returning in the future.

Very nice little store! My brother and I will usually buy new shoes here every year and we've been coming for quite a while now. The guy who works here is very knowledgeable and also remembers us whenever we shop here, which is great! The welcoming environment is what makes us keep coming back here (instead of simply just getting shoes at a chain store or the mall).

Journeys

Hi my name is Gregorio, I really enjoyed  the store the staff was wonderful and reasonable prices and the it was clean cool music playing in the store 5stars from me. Journeys is so nice from when someone name Greg greeted me to when Last month Genna help me out  to buy a pair of sneakers that I now love they have everything kind brand but Nike. I love there Uggs boots  that I bought yesterday from Linda and the store manager. Tyler was able help me out and as well I bought nice warm and comfortable soft socks and shirts for a gift for a friend . I bought a store gift card from him to give someone for Christmas.

Genna, the store manager was very helpful & gave great customer service! Will most definitely be back!!

I was sent the wrong sneakers. I went to the Journeys in Bridgewater Mall Nj to return them. I ended up speaking to the manager Genna, and was AMAZING! She went above and beyond for me. I appreciate her work ethic and kindness. I pick up the right sneakers on Monday! Highly recommend this store!

Shopped at Journeys Bridgewater tonight and had a great shopping experience with an amazing sales associate named Dev. She was very sweet and totally new her inventory. She could sell anything in fact ended up with not only tge gift I needed nut also a Xmas gift too

BODYBAR Pilates - Lakewood Ranch

so happy I choose to join BODYBAR! after my foot surgery in January, I knew I needed to find something better suited for my healing process. I feel stronger, my balance is better, and the daily classes have become a favorite part of my weekly routine. The studio is always clean and I cant say enough great things about all of the wonderful instructors. thank you BODYBAR for opening my eyes to all the wonderful things pilates has to offer!

I absolutely love BODYBAR Pilates!!! The changes in my body over the past year have been so positive in my fitness journey. I am a runner and have tight hamstrings and hip flexors. Pilates has diminished any pain and increased my flexibility to take almost a whole minute of my mile pace. The staff is so kind and knowledgeable!! Studio is beautiful!! I love BodyBar! All of the instructors are great but I have to give extra credit to Veronika. She is knowledgeable in using the reformer to its fullest and incorporates all different movements to target muscles the best.

Minuteman Press Fremont

I can't say enough good things about my team's experience with Minuteman Press! I've lost count of the number of last-minute/complicated requests we've gone to them with and they always bring calm and competency to the chaos. Sam has even gone as far as to hand-deliver samples and finished products as well as send videos in advance to make sure we're happy with the order. Their expertise and responsiveness are truly valued. They are our go-to print shop.

I worked with Sam on a last minute project for a memorial service, and the team at Minuteman Press went above and beyond to help. They were patient with me while I figured out file sizes and had quick turnaround with proofs. From my initial message to final delivery of the project, they were professional, helpful, and friendly. I absolutely recommend working with them.

I have been working with Minuteman Press Fremont for years and they always manage to produce excellent results with exceptional customer service at a competitive price. My go-to for anything print, large or small.

Took care of business asap. Many time last min requests. Sam, Edgar and the Team is able to process and deliver super quick. They don’t mess up because they do make sure to ask the right questions before printing, eg paper size, type, etc. they printed Christmas cards, plans, cups, flyers, banners and anything you think of; so far done a very satisfactory job, every time. Thank you 🙏🏻

Sam had such quick responses and really took the time to make the label and hats that we wanted for our company. Very good details and fast shipment made this process super easy and actually enjoyable!

Walmart Supercenter

Very clean. Some shelves were empty on grocery side. Which made absolutely no sense as they have deliveries daily. Too many self checkouts for my taste. Many were down to start with.

Was a decent store until they closed off the self checkout in favor of herding everyone is into self checkout lanes. It's drastically slower now. All it takes is one person with an overflowing cart to force you to wait an extra 30 mins. My style of shopping is short trips with a small handful of items so this is far from expedient. It's limited my trips to this walmart.
Hopefully it'll go back to normal after the holidays.

This walmart went from bad to pathetic. I mean did the store manager tell the toothless hick running costumer service to close 10 minutes early or did she just decide to do it on here own? Also, offer your employees a damn dental plan and stop being as cheap as the Chinese made garbage you sell.

By far the WORST store I've entered. Employees stocking and order takers are rude. They don't move when I'm shopping to get a product. I must ask them POLITELY to move. I should never have to ask,  they should automatically move out of the way for customers. The customer service line is a mile long with one cashier. It's the holiday season. Management really needs an upgrade here. Poor management all the way around

I arrived at 11:00 for a standard oil change. The wait time was estimated 1-1.5 hours. It actually took 2 hours and 20 minutes. Might have taken even longer if I didn’t inquire about my vehicle after waiting for 2 hours in their waiting area. Very inefficient.
Do not take your car here if your time is important.

Target

The most disorganized target i’ve ever been to. Looks as if the store was ransacked, there are products all over the floors and knocked out of shelves, missing items, inventory online doesn’t match what’s in store. Very low inventory of items in general. Trash all over the sales floor. Expired food items on the shelves, and in the cold sections!! employees are scarce and it takes forever to get any help!

This is my regular target- or at least it used to be! They remodeled the store which I was excited about thinking it’d end up looking like the Beaverton location (super nice!!). But no. Now everything and I mean EVERYTHING is locked in cabinets and must be accessed by employees. So we all need a personal Target employee assistant to shop here now (no, they are not staffed to be able to actually do that). What should’ve been a 15 minute shop took well over an hour and I couldn’t even get everything I needed even though it was all there in the store. You just can’t reasonably shop the way they’re trying to make us now. Driving out of my way to a different store would have saved me time and frustration so I guess that’s what I’ll do now. Bummer.

I google a product online sale a decent price went to store to grab and go only to realize in-store price was DOUBLE. So I had to place an online order to get the reasonable price. Needless to say 40mins later walking around store waiting order still isn't ready for a simple item, so I purchased some makeup and left only to find that would have been cheaper online as well. Still waiting for my online order... Won't be coming here anymore after

Ordered 2 items that showed available for store pickup. Got an email saying my order was ready for pick up...both items. Get there and am told only 1 item was available and that I would get refunded in 3-5 business days. The clerks were all rude. Asked for a supervisor. Asked him why it let me order if out of stock. He said sometimes the system makes a mistake. Asked why I got an email saying BOTH  items were ready for pickup.  He said it wouldn't have said that. I said
so you are calling me a liar? He said no, but it wouldn't show that. I showed him the email. He said hmm, well that was a mistake. I said a lot of mistakes and you are saying I have to wait 3-5 business days for my refund? On top of that, the email that says I will be getting a refund says I will be getting it for the order "I canceled "!
Horrible service. I admit I was rude by the end of this exchange but there was not one iota of customer service and they did not care at all about the inconvenience to me. I will never be back! And recommend anyone who is thinking of going there try another store. Their shelves are bare anyway!

Target sucks now. Expensive with little selection. Store remodel is bizarre looking simultaneously sparse and overstuffed. Annoying display carts in the middle of isles making them hard to navigate. Seems like half the store under lock and key needing an employee to fetch products.
Movie selection constantly shrinking.
