McDonald's

A nice remodeled McDonald's. The kiosks weren't slow, and the staff was quite friendly. The place is kept pretty clean, and the food was well prepared.

The cheese burger with extra pickles was as expected, hot and good. The fries were floppy, not fresh, so I asked for fresh fries, the staff member seemed annoyed, they said it would be 4 minutes so pull over & wait, about 8 minutes later, they brought over the fries, they apologized for the wait and said they increased it to a larger size. They were fresh and I appreciated the larger size fry, but they weren't salted and they didn't add any salt or ketchup to the bag. I don't go often, so I guess I have to ask for these items that automatically are provided at other fast foods. It wasn't a great experience.

There's not much to say about a McDonalds. I don't appreciate this location's recent change to paper straws and chicken nuggets bags instead of boxes, but the service here is quick, managers seem to care a lot about the store here, and it's rare to see mistakes happen at this location. I appreciate it for what it is, but do keep in mind it's just a McDonald's at the end of the day, and you're placing convenience ahead of cost/taste.

Accessibility: they have accessible parking directly in front of the building and plenty of other parking available. There is a ramp to get onto the sidewalk and the doors to get inside are pull doors. They also have a drive-thru with two lanes and digital screens with the menu on it.

Experience: I went through the drive-thru on a Saturday afternoon and there was no one in line in front of me. The service was super fast and the food was hot! Fresh off the grill type of hot! The fries here also tasted MUCH better than the fries at the other McDonald's I have been to in San Marcos. The Vanilla coffee here was also very good and cheap! They do have outdoor and indoor seating if you want though. Use their phone app to get lots of discounts.

Only McDonald's that still uses paper straws, and now they killed regular Fri box and nuggets box  for paper bags. The killed the mcflurry spoon also for wooden spoon with just MM drop on top so it's not even mixed anymore  While they still plastic cups for drinks.

Paris Baguette

Absolutely the cutest coffee and pastry shop. Our drinks were perfect.  The staff was super nice and the whole shop was filled with fresh made breads, donuts, pastries, cakes, pies, etc.  Very cool place to hang out for a quick coffee, tea or treat

First time to Paris baguette. Neat store with a variety of baked goods to choose from. They did have interesting selections of coffees and drinks.
I had ordered a take out. The curry croquettes was interesting with a thin layer of filling. It tasted nice though I wish it had a bit more of the filling.
The tiramisu tart wasn’t as sweet as I expected. It was just fine. Loved their cream puffs and Pain aux raisins.
Had gone here during the afternoon and it wasn’t crowded. Definitely had few open tables for seating. Finding a parking around wasn’t that difficult as well.

The cafe is cool and all. The baked goods are good but their pumpkin spice latte sucks. Tastes nothing like pumpkin. Has a very metallic taste. Please change your syrup or whatever you are using

Fantastic! Pastries are not too sweet. Coffee is always great. We tried sesame tapioca flour bun. Loved it. The tart was amazing with a ton of fresh berries and a delicate lightly sweetened cream. The crust is a bit tough but otherwise perfect and great to share. The price may seem high at 8$ but honestly given the size and the ingredients I think it’s very fair. The other pastries were much less and also fairly priced.

A wonderful spot for a swift indulgence in Korean healthy bread, pastries, and coffee. However, the popularity leads to rapid depletion of items. The bustling atmosphere could benefit from improved table cleanliness after customers depart.😉

Super quiet inside. Employees don’t even speak when you walk in. Not a huge deal, just noticiable. The pastries were delicious and so was my mocha frappe. The place was super clean and quiet.

We ordered the cappuccino cake the night before we needed it. The ordering process was fast and easy. We were able to choose the pickup time. They were also able to write Happy Birthday on the cardboard platform the cake sits on. To our surprise, even a disposable cake serving utensil and two candles were included in the box.

The cake was beautiful and looked just like the one on display. As for the taste, you can actually taste the butter in the frosting. It wasn't sickly sweet like most cakes in this country. The size may be small, but we still had leftovers after serving 6 people.
Now, I can't see myself getting a big cheap cake that's just going to sit in your fridge for weeks anyway. Quality > quantity.

I recommend Paris and would definitely order a cake from them again!

Visited for the first time today for a quick breakfast with my husband. He was skeptical when we came in, but pleasantly surprised with his meal! We got the Boston crème croissant muffin (my faaaaavorite!), the garlic sausage roll (I’d eat the garlic crème alone by the spoonful), the hash brown pastry, and another sausage roll. Can’t wait to come back!

I just have to say AMAZING! The bakery is so delicious and there cakes are unique.Great service and my new coffee shop go to. The cake I bought was just right. Not to sweet. Fluffy And creamy.( I added the Pokémon happy birthday sign from Amazon)

The coffee crème cronut is 10/10!! ☕️ Will absolutely go back here before any other donut place.

They’ve messed up my order too many times. Won’t be going back. This last time I got 1 pickles when I asked to add extra.

I come here often because they be on point, my sandwiches never complained, asked for extra pickles this is what I got, McChicken on point not to much mayo just enough lettuce, I couldn't share the fries Bec I ate em lol idk why but everytime I come here they're fries are on point, golden crispy not too salty just right and never gives the nasty after taste of old oil. On Sat Aug 13th the cook and the team members did an excellent job and need to be acknowledged for their hardwork. Great job and thanks 👍

Just okay. There was a transient in front of the entrance door sucking on a pacifier. This created for some discomfort but it is understandable that it is a public place. Food was served warm by employees that typically don't engage nor smile. However, there is not a lot of expectation from mcdonalds.

We got our food fresh and warm , but they ended up missing my moms order so she kindly went up to ask if they had her 2 cheeseburgers no onion. A guy with glasses and a bright vest  didn’t take off the onions which was cool my mom didn’t mind she just took them and she went back for ranch/ketchup and me and my whole family sitting up front eating sees he kinda of tosses it at her obviously in a annoyed way. And observing him he was being rude to not just us but everyone who came into the franchise… do better. We appreciate the fast food workers everywhere but at least how some kindness to people who obviously aren’t being rude just understanding.

Building is beautiful but service is not good. Tables were dirty. Only 4 tables being used at the time so it wasn't busy. I had to clean my own table. No front staff, had to wait like 3 minutes just to get napkins.

Poke Cafe

If you know your ramen, this place will really disappoint you. It was 🤢 some of the stuff inside tasted like freezer burn. The sushi was dry and had an off taste to it-sour/odd. Not sure what it was but Iv been sick the rest of the day after. Have been gagging and more. I should’ve read the other reviews!! Computer was glitching in and out, it took 3 times to do my order. The staff said it’s due to poor wifi. Overall, the place could use some changes.

It’s a salt bomb!!! The chicken is from a can, the girl that rang me up couldn’t tell me what what was due to a language barrier, noodles were hard, and the only thing close to a vegetable was corn. The flavor of the ramen was flavorful but the saltiness was overwhelming. Place was clean and they tried to have versatile music playing so that’s a positive but it just wasn’t like a wow experience and everything pouted to ‘please order and leave’ not a ‘sit and stay’ vibe. I probably won’t return here after knowing that the ingredients were not fresh and my blood pressure is reserved for beer.

Atmosphere in here is great. We love the anime on the walls. It is clean and light in the place.
The sushi and poke bowls are fresh. The portion of the poke bowls are huge. I would say equal to three sushi rolls worth of food but only 13 bucks. Would be great to have some spice options as well but still awesome without!
We order sushi take out from here OFTEN.
Recently, we ate in the store for some lunch (before hitting up BoxLunch at the mall) and it was so good. Love the tapioca boba. Hubby loves the dragon roll. And anytime we have questions or issues their customer service is top tier! very friendly people. This will continue to be one of our favorite places in North Charleston.

We usually do Poke Bros. but when we researched and found a place that had Ramen we decided to give this place a try. We were not disappointed. They are priced a little higher than PB but the portion sizes are much bigger so it was worth it. I had the shrimp and crab poke bowl and my husband had beef Ramen. We also had a fruit tea and a bubble milk tea. We enjoyed it all. We will be back. Oan: the place was nice and clean.

We’ve been having cakes from PB for a decade never disappointed until today.
Quality control of this cake to me is a fail😔, dry and unpleasantly sized sponges. Could they do better despite the fact that the cake is priced for $49?

For Christmas Day it was good but everything was not tasty

It's my second time buying pastries here at PB. I was blown away the first time I tasted their pastries. The level of sweetness is just so right. I love their croissants especially the chocolate one. I will keep on coming back guys....

I love this bakery and all the pastry they have. This shop is clean, organized, and delicious for sure. I got small crossiant with hot dog and it's amazing for breakfast

Located inside H-Mart. They have more variety of savory items than 85 degree bakery and the bakery inside 99 ranch. Their prices are a little higher than the other two bakeries.

Recently, there is a larger selection of mochinuts ($3.59 each).

They also have a rewards app that collects points to earn freebies.

Nice ladies work here and food is good. I recommend the red bean and cream cheese buns warmed up. I bought the nitro cold brew as well and it’s very strong but I like it. Or maybe bit too bitter for other people so you make no like it. The taste is not similar to Starbucks nitro cold brew

The red bean bread is so good and the cake is so soft and tasty,  very convenient bakery, just inside the hmart supermarket.  Will come back to try more favor.

I bought a sparking drink, and ask for a  ice in a cup with lid, the lady said they can’t do that for can drinks, Then i said can get ice tea instead, she said they don’t make drinks no more. They closed at 9, I was there at 8:03. WHAT IS GOING ON HERE!?

I will ALWAYS make a point to come here every time we’re in the area for a lacrosse tournament. Beautiful pastries, clean all around the restaurant, friendly staff, and especially delicious food! Go early for the most options of pastries.

Pastries were good. The bake shop is inside the H-Mart in Fairfax. All time faves are Almonds, Ham Cheese and Creme Cheese pastry. It’s just takes some time to pay because of long line when sometimes.

Poke Cafe - Centre Pointe Dr

I got a poke bowl and my husband got a spicy ramen bowl (the broth was heaven). My poke bowl was super fresh and well made. The staff was super calm and chill. The tapioca drinks are great! It has a nice a nice atmosphere!

Poke Cafe is the newest spot to grab some great Poke in Tanger Outlet. The outside has a vibrant orange logo and inside is just as colorful. Everyone was enthusiastic and ready to attend to me when I arrived. I was fortunate enough to be given a free poke bowl for being a Yelp elite and they really have a great product here. The ingredients were so delicious and fresh. I loved the spicy salmon and sushi rice they put in the bowl. Each bite had the perfect ratio of ingredients and it was quite filling. I had to order my husband a bowl of spicy pork ramen to compliment my dish. He loved it. The heat was just right and the pork and noodles were super flavorful. I’m ready to go back for my next poke experience.

Great poke bowls. They give you a good amount.
However not too fond of their ramen. A bit expansive for what it is, lack of protein given.

The service here was amazing, seriously.
The woman at the register was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed.

The poke was fresh and they didn't skimp us on the protein so that's always a plus.

Will definitely return.

Delicious! I got the poke bowl with spicy salmon and spicy crab. Decent portion but they’re pricey. The restaurant is very clean and a nice dine in area.

Love this place! It’s so aesthetically pleasing from the pastries, cakes, to the drinks. You can tell just by looking at everything how fresh it is. Yummy coffee too.

The cakes are a hit with co-workers. They are delicious, not too sweet and they are smooth. They are moist and creamy and depending on the oness you get, also fruity.  Their other pastries are also a huge hit.  Everyone savors them and runs to get their favorite before they run out. The service is also great, they are curteous, friendly, patient and helpful.

Fresh baked items, everything we tried was incredible.  The pistachio macaroons were the favorite.

This bakery is nice there’s something for all tastes from savory to sweet to salty. They have a regular pastry and bread selection however they offer seasonal pastries. But there’s more to this pastry cafe then sweets treats they offer coffee/lattes/ teas and smoothies.  This bakery is located in otay ranch in the same business plaza as Pizzo restaurant and Hurricane. We love their Oreo croissant, peanut butter cookies and rainbow cake slices. Prices are reasonable. Average to small portions. Everything is made fresh daily

Paris Baguette, it's a Brand New concept that came to Eastlake area just in the past couple weeks, my wife and I decided to go to be able to see what they have and enjoy a little bit of what they offer. First and foremost the service was excellent, it was all covid compliant and people will waiting line to be able to get in and once you got your turn you were able to walk through the store grab a bag or a box and start picking up the goodie you wanted to get. Everything is pretty much packed individually and it looks delicious. They have a showcase where all the man cakes are and you can either get them by a slice or actually get the full cake. You could also order them online and be able to pick him up later. they have also wonderful drinks that if you want to pair with your goodie then you'll be able to take from them. There's plenty of parking, they have handicap entrances as well as the opportunity to take your time take as much as you want and they will count it at the end and charge you for it.  Again the service was amazing the flavor of the food was good my wife and I bought some goodies for our boys which they really enjoy and we took a couple of the fruit filled pastry for my in-laws.  All in all the experience was great the price was good and the experiences of a new place is always fantastic.  One thing is if you're looking for a Baguette you have to get there early because they do run out of them very fast in the morning and you may not have a chance to get something all the way till the evening. We will go back again and I will be looking forward to taste their baguettes.

Hoke Poke

I went here for dinner with a group of friends. A few of them got the standard mix and I got my own blend. There was only one person working since it was close to closing but she was phenomenal. Helpful and patient with all of us even though we had no idea what to do. She reminded me that leftovers are not good after about 12 hours too. It was really tasty if not something for those nervous about raw fish. I plan to go back soon.

We had a great first experience and we will be back. The ingredients were fresh and delicious. They also have bubble tea!

It was slow when we went in and I have no idea why. The staff was super friendly, and the food was delicious. My wife has celiac, so having everything labeled gluten free or not was a huge plus! If you get the Cali classic, definitely try the spicy tuna.

Hoke Poke is a must go for all poke bowl enthusiasts in Central VA. The restaurant chain originated in Los Angeles and Richmond is their first east coast location (go RVA!). The space is well lit with cool LED light fixtures and has an overall industrial chic vibe.

Upon first entering the space, they have menus displayed on the wall but are also happy to give you a print out of the menu upon request (check out my pic!). They have a variety of chef signature bowls with preselected  ingredients or you can build your own bowl. Sizes offered are small or large. My recommendation would be to go with one of the signature chef bowls on your first visit as it can be a bit tricky to make sure you get the flavors just right with the different sauces as there are lots of options.

So far, I've tried both the Cali Classic and the Salmon Mango Tango bowl. I have always gotten the small size as I think it provides more than enough food for a meal so I'm a bit surprised to see some feedback on the portion sizes being too small.  The Salmon Mango Tango is my new go to and I absolutely love the balance of sweet and spicy. The fish is super fresh and all of the flavors are delicious. I can't wait to go back!! I also love the boba tea options and the lavender lemonade.

I only wish we had a location closer to near west end or downtown where I work!

This place is so yummy! Fresh and delicious! It was plenty of food for a great price and good for you! Atmosphere is very modern and clean! Recommend to all!
