I got my espresso machine and get all my espresso capsules from Paul. Very friendly guy and excellent espresso. The Lavazza Intenso and Carraro Puro Arabic are my favorites!

McDonald's

I like their milkshakes and burgers. I love to go here if it's past 10 and I'm wanting some food. The burgers are a reliable choice and the shakes are good. I like to get 2 double cheeseburgers and a large chocolate shake for 10 bucks

They charge $ for a simple water cup. What fast food restaurant in Boise charges for a water cup? They moved the soda machine to behind the counter so switching to charging for a water cup makes no sense.

This place is managed and run by some of the most inept people on the planet. Orders are almost never correct, and today I ordered 2 sausage and egg mcmuffin and was given both of them with no egg. Seriously? And these are the people who desperately need to make 15-20 an hour. If you can’t manage to do this job, good luck anywhere else. This place should just close down. Hang it up. You suck.

McDonald’s consistently is unprepared at lunch time to deliver a Quarter Pounder (primary food item) through the window without making me wait in a holding spot.

Otherwise great experience, but an opportunity to move into a five star experience.

Paina Cafe

Best poke & pork bowls in town, with ube mochi donuts, spam masubi (with seasoned riced) and more!

The staff is always so nice, the quality has been consistent for years and the food has great replay value!!

Staff at the front isnt very happy.

Cucumbers for poke bowls would be nice (not pickled) or a California style ahi poke would work.

The saimin was extremely greasy and very eh. The chicken pieces were sad.

We have been a lot of times but not in awhile. It’s gone down hill.

Words can not describe the pure pleasure of the poke and donuts. I was attending a conference at the Tropicana and went to Paina twice on the same day for lunch and dinner. It was worth the 2 Uber round-trips.

Incredible fresh and authentic poke. I went to Hawaii twice last year and that was primarily to eat poke in Maui, Kauai, Oahu, and Hawaii. This took me back.

We enjoyed our poke bowls today sooo much. We had the #2 with tuna and Hawaiian style. There was plenty of fresh tuna on top of perfectly cooked rice, topped with picked onions. A perfect breakfast to start the day. So ono!

Very clean, fast,and polite staff when I went in today. Order from the app. Makes things so smooth. I ordered a 20 piece for $5.00. The app specials are crazy good deals this summer.

I stopped by on a weekday for dinner with my family. I used the kioas to place my order and had it delivered to my table under 5 minutes. I was charged a weird 2 dollar fee for using the kioas. It's not about the 2 dollars, its supposed to be about the convenience. I could of walked up to the register 7 steps away for free. This McDonald's is very modern and clean. They do have highchairs for children. Overall I was very satisfied and would suggest this McDonald's to my friends. Missed a 5 star rating due to hidden fees. I cannot say whether the staff was friendly or not, my interaction was minimal. One really cool thing about this location, there is plenty of seating. I counted 4 different possibilities. They have messed up my order the last 3 times that I came here, all within the last week. I went there just last night, I asked for a burger with NO onions and got one with extra onions.  McDonald's onions totally gross me out. And it's impossible to completely remove them from a burger once they are on there. I couldn't even eat my food and was too tired to go back once I got home and realized that they had screwed up again.  I've been throwing away money by going here and won't be going back to this location.

The food is never done right.  Cheese only on halfway either too much or not enough condiments . French fries are hardly fresh. They can't even get my order done correctly,  always missing something.

ABSOLUTE TRASH! I was able to take one bite and spit it out due to raw undercooked hamburger meat. I hope I get sick so I can sue you McDicks. Do not recommend.

Review for McDonald's in Defuniak Springs, Florida

I recently visited the McDonald's in Defuniak Springs, and I must admit that I was deeply disappointed with my experience. While McDonald's has a global reputation for its standardized quality and service, this particular location significantly falls short.

Cleanliness: This is a primary concern for any establishment that serves food. The bathrooms were not in a state that I would expect from a renowned chain like McDonald's. I have attached pictures for reference which speaks for the situation better than words.

Staff Presentation & Professionalism: The staff members were not wearing name tags. This makes it difficult for patrons to identify and communicate with the employees, should there be a need to address any concerns. Proper uniform and identification are basic tenets of service professionalism.

Service Inefficiencies: Despite choosing the "Eat in" function, as seen in the attached picture, we were not served at our table. Instead, the staff would shout out the table number from the counter, expecting customers to retrieve their orders. This is not only inconvenient but also particularly distressing for individuals with disabilities.

Presentation of Food: It was surprising to see our order packed in a bag instead of being placed on a tray. The attached picture showcases this. The essence of choosing to dine in is lost when the presentation feels like it's been prepped for a takeaway.

Staff Activity: Roughly a minute after capturing these photos, an employee did begin some cleaning with a broom, but once again, she wasn't wearing a name tag. Additionally, many staff members seemed to be congregated at the front, behind the register, rather than attending to customers and ensuring the dining area was in order.
Furthermore, an attempt to mitigate negative feedback was evident from a handwritten note displayed, as seen in the attached picture. This note seemingly entices customers with the offer of free food in exchange for positive reviews. Such practices, in my opinion, are not genuine or transparent methods of addressing and rectifying genuine concerns and feedback. It's essential for businesses to prioritize authentic customer experiences over superficial ratings.
We fully understand that someone internal to MacDonald's may identify us as a customer. You can be rest assured that we will be back at this location to see if it is getting any better.
The next step is to talk to corporate if the issues remain.

In conclusion, this visit was far from the standard experience I've come to expect from McDonald's. I hope that the management takes note of these glaring issues and institutes changes swiftly. A location's cleanliness, service efficiency, and staff professionalism directly reflect on the brand, and from what I've witnessed, there is substantial room for improvement at this particular McDonald's.

Check your breakfast sandwiches for egg shell if you get egg on it. This was one that we got for my 4 year old niece and luckily she took a tiny bite and said she didn’t want it so we took it with for later, well after sitting in the car  for a couple hours we decide we were gonna throw it away. I noticed there was a couple pieces of egg shell sitting on the bun and jokingly said I usually like my egg without the shell, but I took the bun off and to my surprise find this. It was literally a whole egg shell crushed into the egg patty. Man was I glad we didn’t make that kid eat that sandwich or anyone else decide to eat it. Just an fyi to people to check your stuff I know it becomes normal to just grab and go and eat, but it opens my eyes to double check.

No idea how this guy made employee of the month. He ignored me the entire time I was in the store. I’m giving them 2 stars because the fries were fresh.

Pretty upset really can’t afford coffee but I decided I had a long drive and just go ahead and get me a cup. I’ll let it cool off for 10 minutes and then I tasted it and it was the worst five dollar cup of coffee I’ve ever had. I won’t be coming back. Pretty upset with this experience

Worst restaurant I’ve ever been to. I’ve never received a correct order and the place is always grimy. Today they forgot my fries and the bbq sauce on my McRib that came with a single pickle slice on it. Lol. Also, the truck stop it’s attached to is absolutely FILTHY and the bathrooms are disgusting.

Broadcast Coffee

I stop by my road trip. I get breakfast sandwich( egg and cheese) it is little spicy, taste good. Cappuccino is good for morning and taste is normal, good balance and little bit strong. It's good. And you must buy a can coffee. It is GOOD. I need get a box of this coffee.
Shop inside is not dog friendly but they has a good park outside. No worries if you with your buddy.
I highly recommend if you need good cafe and coffee!

If Neckar and Slow by Slow set the bar for Boise’s coffee scene in years past, Broadcast ripped it from it’s hinges and bolted it to a whole new height. The coffee has a beautiful aroma, the atmosphere is charming and eclectic, and the staff is friendly and fun to banter with. This is the best spot for coffee in Boise right now.

Love broadcast coffee in Seattle, didn’t know they opened a new cafe in Boise, great customer service and drinks as usual. The Pink tree in the park outside the cafe is beautiful!

This place is super cute! Nice area to hangout or do some work in a quiet setting. We went pretty early on Saturday so it wasn't very busy. The coffee was was good but nothing amazing. The baristas were friendly!

Get coffee HERE! Don’t let the corporate business park location fool you. This is a great espresso stop. Quality espresso and baristas that know their foam (for us latte / cappuccino drinkers).

Everything at McDonald's is the same everywhere. I recently visited a McDonald's restaurant and overall, I had a positive experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was clean and well-maintained. The food was exactly what I expected from McDonald's - fast and tasty. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the atmosphere felt a bit overwhelming. The bright lights, and bustling crowds made it feel like an Eldridge hellscape at times. However, if you're looking for a quick and convenient meal, this McDonald's location is a solid choice.

You now place your own order.... When our food was done they didn't even call our order number. The kiosk has you take a number and put it on your table so your server can find you... They don't even attempt that. They just set it on the counter. We were the only people dining in.

Big Mac was what a Big Mac ought to be: two all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions, on a sesame seed bun.  Sprite was good too.

I've gotten breakfast and lunch here multiple times. It's a very clean, quiet, and busy location. I haven't had a single issue with any of my orders. Each order has been fresh, hot, and delicious. The staff have all been great and it's been the best fast food I've had in a long time.

Drive through. Legit Saw seven cars drive past me after I was told to wait at the stop. I ordered double fries and a double cheeseburger.  Promptly requested my refund.

Big City Coffee and Cafe

Soooooooooo delicious! 10/10 we will definitely be back again. The biscuits and gravy is HUGE so bring your appetite, we didn't order the burrito but they are bigger around than my arm! You come in and wait in line to order, grab a menu up towards the register on a pole so you can look over the menu. Seating is first come first served so try to grab a seat when they are available. Also the baked goods are all amazing!!!

Lovely, spacious breakfast spot with huge, delicious portions. I ordered a breakfast sandwich with a bagel that was just the right size and a giant raspberry scone to go. If I’m ever swinging through again, I’ll definitely return.

Be patient for a table but it is worth it. Massive mugs of coffee and cinnamon rolls larger than your head. Be wary of ordering the biscuits and gravy unless you are sharing. It is HUGE.

I had never been here before. So,  I asked one of the customers what his favorite was there, when I was waiting in line,  and he said, "Everything"😁
I then ordered the biscuits with gravy. Wow! I heard about how giant the biscuits were, but seeing is believing. They even had bacon bits in the middle.  Great atmosphere. I also walked away with a mouthwatering lemon bar. Handicap  ♿️ accessibility. I took pictures of the menu and monthly special.
Update: I had to go back and show you how big our portion sized meal was for a great price.

Honestly, for a McDonald's, this is the location I have the fewest issues with. Their ice cream is always working, and they are good with mobile orders - which I know for some customers (like me) helps with your customized versions of menu items. I appreciate the customer service provided and everyone is always in a good mood and saying hi to me and my family in the drive thru!

It was pretty slow, but the food was good. I had a cheeseburger and some fries and both were Farley good. This is the perfect place to go if you are getting back from Bogus basin (the local skiing hill) and need a quick snack. I would definitely recommend

This is the second time my order has been wrong or missing food.  People order what they are wanting and when the order is typed in on the screen correctly there shouldnt be a reason when it's not busy to get an order wrong.   I would hate to see what happened during a lunch or dinner rush.  Will stop at a different one for now on.

Still enjoy McDonald's and even though customer service has changed I will est the chicken sandwiches here over a ton of other places.

Not very personable service. You give them your order and you get it.  Thats it.  I asked a young man to please wipe our table off and all he did was leave it wet for us to put our food down. They need to work on the thank you and show some appreciation for the business they get.

Nekter Juice Bar

Addy was amazing. Such an amazing spirit and she made my order extra good. She told upfront that they were light on some ingredients but accommodated the inconvenience. Just a sweet person.

I love the freshness of Nekter juices. The customer service is excellent. Plus the app makes it super easy to order ahead and pick up. I just wish there was one close to me. I just happened to be out that way and did a U turn when I saw the store front

Bathroom was gross. The toilet paper rolls had blood and brown stains on the sides. There was blood drops on the floor and no soap. Employees probably don't wash their hands. Ended up not drinking 2 smoothies which cost $21.50 plus $3.50 tip.

They never open on time. Half of the occasion where I walked in their equipment is broken and cannot make half of the items on their menu.  Every time there is a new person behind the counter, each one dumber than the last.

What is up with customer service nowadays? Lets just say that I never leave reviews but I feel like this should be addressed. I ordered a smoothie via app and when I picked up my order I was greeted with the worst attitude I have ever experienced. The guy up front handed me my smoothie without saying one word and a scowl on his face. No hello or anything. We all go to work and should treat others with respect. A simple smile or hello would of made a huge difference but instead It made me feel like my business was unwanted. That will be the last time for me. Horrible!!!
