My car was totaled between Christmas and new years and I loved it so much I wanted to replace it with the same exact car. Through a few website searches I found one and Berkenkotter. I went down to look in January at it and fell in love. I was deciding between this car that I could pay in full or a new car and get on a payment so I left it to sleep on the decision. A week later the car was still there so I set up to test drive it. I had a wonderful test drive that made me decide I wanted the car. We went through steps for the purchase and left in my new vehicle. 2 days into owning it every single maintenance light came on. I took it in and it needed a master break cylinder. The sunroof is also broken and rattles while driving. Also, a bracket on the bumper broke after one drive. In April they sent me my title and paperwork needed to register this car with the state. I went to register and was turned away at the dmv because the title didn't match up with the sale. The title was from a CarMax in California. I took the title back to castle rock and they assured me they would fix it. Through the next couple months I called periodically to check in they assured me it would be very soon. I finally got the correct title July 24th. 7 months. So between the broken car I was sold to the title fiasco. I don't recommend.

I didn't buy a car from them so this is just based on my personal experience, but I hit them up to see if they could do a valuation on my mom's vehicle for probate court after she passed away and they were very helpful.  Didn't charge me anything to do the valuation and even stayed there late so I could get it to my lawyer ASAP.  And this might not mean a lot to most people but they always have these cool little custom wooden cars that they keep on the table for kids to play with and then they get to choose one to take home when they leave.  Which I get isn't a super big deal but I know it was to my stepson and I thought it was really awesome of them to give him one seeing as I wasn't buying anything and they were already doing me a favor.  So if I'm ever in the market for a used vehicle I will definitely be going back and give them a shot at earning my business. Again I didn't buy a car there so I don't know the quality of the vehicles they procure and I didn't really pay attention to what they are charging good or bad.  But I have to say when I overheard parts of the conversation that was between the finance manager and this couple who had just purchased a car while doing all the paperwork I was impressed with their professionalism and how the manager wasn't trying to jam backend products down their throat like GAP or a warranty.  He just educated them on their options and didn't push, hound, or swindle them into buying anything...which sadly is pretty rare these days.

Great car dealerships people with a good hospitality. I just purchased this Yukon from this car dealership place and they gave me a great good deal for it. I am very greatly satisfied for what they have done for me.  Good dealership! 😊 👍

My girlfriend and I bought our vehicles from Berkenkotter on the same day. Both salesman were good buuut the vehicles being sold as is with bad tires isn't a very good business practice. When you buy a vehicle with full time 4wheel drive that depends on even tire wear to make your vehicle work right then you get a vehicle with 3 good tires and 1 bald tire the goes flat every day it doesn't settle well. The vehicles are sold as is but when the car is barely road safe because 1 tire is bad then there might be a problem. The second vehicle there was nothing to complain about.

My son bought a Hummer H3 from this location and it ran great for a couple months until there was really just driver error. We couldn't figure out what happened until I called the owner and he told me to take it to their shop. My son was worried that it would cost 5000 dollars due to a blown head gasket but it wasn't that at all. Firestone was wrong. The oil was too full. My son got off easy on this one with a small fee. Dan you bailed us out. Thanks! And your mechanics too. Thanks!

Wild Birds Unlimited

Very knowledgeable staff. I was in and out with what I was looking for. Appreciated the customer service!

Each and every time I visit this store - I learn something new and exciting about birds.  I think a different staff member enlightens me each time too…love sharing our birding stories and relish in our excitement over the little things.  Great selection and high quality products and food.  Even my 7 yr old loves the greeting cards they offer - and his friends like receiving them.  Competitive pricing for high quality bird food. Always feel a bit of a lift in my spirit and a slip in my step when I walk out. Love this particular store!

I LOVE this little shop for current and aspiring Bird enthusiasts. They have a feed of the very lively Cornell University Feeding Station playing on a big screen (always interesting and entertaining) and there are plenty of feeders, bird baths, accessories and more considering this is one of the smaller individually owned stores. I have now been to all 4 in the Denver area (although not the Colorado Springs location, which i hear is huge and amazing) and I am a member both at this location and the larger store on Wadsworth. The Aurora location had the best selection of trinkets/cards/even earrings and that's where i got my "chirping" wine spout (so fun for lovers of wine and birds and makes a great gift at about $20) but I always come back to this Castle Rock store...this is where it all started for me.👍💕

Wonderful, fast service. The people are very nice and polite while keeping their store running and looking good. They'll help to carry anything out to your car if needed. It was wonderful to go there.

Staff is knowledgeable and friendly.  They have been very helpful in selecting a bird seed cylinder that the deer don't bother & the obnoxious magpies don't care for.
They also carry some beautiful & unique gift ideas!

McDonald's

The past 4 out of 5 times that I’ve ordered breakfast from here, I’ve waited 10+ mins for some pancakes. One of the workers mentioned that “we weren’t expecting a big breakfast to be made.” Other times it’s missing fork/knives and most times I’m missing butter and syrup for my pancakes. I don’t even know how they keep missing things when THERES NO ONE ELSE IN LINE! today is the last day I will ever go back to this location because guess what, don’t have butter/syrup AGAIN. The price that I pay for this, I would expect atleast 1 butter and 1 syrup. Can’t even get that right.

This is definitely a slower McDonald’s. The reason why I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 is that the manager for the lunch shift on June 21 was working really hard to keep two of the employees up front focused. It seems like these two employees towards the front are not carrying their weight for whatever reasons, but I saw the rest of the team practice patience and professionalism despite the stress.

Edited to add: the supervisors name was Katie. I also ordered this on the mobile app 10 minutes before coming and still waited 20+ minutes to get food.

HEY MR/MRS FRANCHISE OWNER, this place is falling apart at the seams! literally!!! The employees were working hard and doing the best they could, but it’s not their responsibility to tell the customer that the place is a sauna because YOU can’t get someone out there to fix it, or to fix the ice machine in the lobby or the CO2. i was there for almost an hour your still pocketing your part,  the money was still coming in, make it a more desirable place to work and hire more employees. The only complaint i had was the MOD, every table in the place was dirty the least she could have done was wipe all the tables off before she left.

Easily one of the worst McDonald’s in Colorado Springs. Service is extremely slow. On multiple occasions it takes 15-20 minutes to get one breakfast sandwich. More times than not, inside is a disaster.

Today was my last (3rd try) visit to this location. They never give you your full order. Spent $20 on 2 small breakfast combos and they forgot the hash browns, which was weird because they asked me to pull forward and wait for my order with the reasoning that they were making fresh hash browns. Very slow service and just not a good deal anymore. $$$ I was going to go inside and ask for my missing items, but they were so packed there was a line inside. I just went home frustrated and still hungry.

The UPS Store

Lena and Harrison did such an amazing job on Sunday, the store was packed with a huge line but they were extremely kind and helpful with anything we needed. I love this store and will definitely be coming back to this location over any in the future.

Nicole and her team routinely print my  real estate related marketing materials. Nicole recently helped me with print request  for a formal invitation and print materials. She did an amazing job with great communication. The location of her store is convenient with friendly staff and easy parking!

Staff is grumpy, uncommunicative, not helpful. Seems like a management issue as I've experienced this with multiple employees. I would rather drive to Castle Pines and give my business to their competitor.

They lost a package that was dropped off on November 17th. It had a manuscript in it and irreplaceable artwork from my students. There will be lots of tears at school tomorrow. I wrote an email and left a voicemail. Hoping they manage to find this package somewhere.

I sent a package from this office. The asked for my account and provided all the information. The package did not arrive. I lost the receipt but I had the exact time and date I sent it front the office. I called and they told me they are not able to locate the package without the tracking number. So, you don’t have any records?!!! I would understand if I don’t have the recipient information or date and time I sent it. However, I cannot believe they don’t have a way to track their own shipments. Be aware to keep receipts when you send something from this location.

10 stars for the buying experience. Very friendly trustworthy staff. I recommend buying anything from this dealer. Easy financing and great payment options. Best used car buying experience I’ve had yet. The car I bought has immaculate interior and was very well taken care of.

Loving my new little SUV!! Bought a 2nd vehicle here. 1st one was more than 10 years ago & I still have it. I'm looking forward to many more years with my new one too. The prices are very reasonable & the cars are reliable. You won't get a "lemon" here & you'll be treated well by their no pressure sales guys.

I refuse to buy a vehicle anywhere else. Been driving Berkenkotter cars and trucks for almost 20 years now. The transparency and follow through with this company is unparalleled. The staff and mechanics are amazing. I Absolutely love my new jeep and it's perfect for my family. I would give 10 stars if I could. 🌟 Thanks Dan and Frankie. Much love 🤩

I’ve been coming here for a couple years and Stephen always takes such good care of me! All the workers are so friendly and kind. Stephen makes it easy for a single mom to not feel like she’s taken advantage of. He is always honest and very knowledgeable about letting me know what’s wrong with my car. Thanks Stephen!

Had a crisis with a flat tire. I called and even though they were booked, Justin said he would get my car in and take care of it. Great service and great staff!

Andrew Hayes got me right in when I called at the last minute.
I needed to be able to drive my car over the weekend and he assessed my situation and sent me on my way.  So courteous and efficient.  I live in Thornton, but try to get any work done on my car down at the Castle Pines Big O - which is close to my daughter - I trust them and know that they don't try to take advantage of me.

With our sons recommendation, we have had our 3 vehicles serviced at Big O Tires, Castle Pines, for almost 2 years and are very satisfied with the consistently good service of Justin at the front desk. He listens to all the details of the existing problems, and addresses them with options for solutions when possible. We drive older Lexus, Toyota, and Nissan vehicles and want to keep them in good working condition. Justin is knowledgeable and pleasant to work with, and will check with a mechanic if there is any question over what is needed.

I’ve been a 10 plus year customer of the Castle Pines BIG O TIRES ..  Today, as always, I was greeted warmly and with a solution to my vehicles problem (today a flat tire)! Isaiah was super helpful and repaired my tire (razor blade piece) and had me back on the road within a reasonable amount of time (less than an hour). Good store, somewhat limited supply.    The cashier are always friendly and helpful.  But its hard to get anyone to help find what I'm looking for.    More than once I've walked toward personnel looking for something and they turn and walk away.

Stacey was a HUGE help in helping me locate the right parts for me to fix my luggage rack on my bike. It saved me loads of time, and she was super friendly too. Ace really lives up to its promise as the helpful place every time I go, but this was even better than usual!! Thanks again, Stacey!!!

I love this store a little too much. Since beginning my woodworking hobby a few years ago, I've spent a lot of time here. Without exception, I've found the staff members very helpful.

Ordered a new Weber natural gas  grill and was able to get free assembly and delivery, try getting that service from the big box stores.
Also, the delivery person looked at my new natural gas connection and told me what fitting i will need to connect my grill which saved me from calling a plumber and $$$.

I don't go here much, every time I do go here, it reminds me why. Their clerks are usually rude. The gas is really expensive. The cigarettes are really expensive & really old & out of date. Go to Murphys across the the highway, they're a lot better.

Pulled up around 12:45 to a 24 hour gas station. Door was locked with a sign saying “mopping”.

Guy made us sit outside on the curb and refused to let us in. Never in my life have I seen this happen.

Open 24 but worker inside will just lock the door and do whatever.  Witnessed this a few times during very busy times. It's on my way home so I would stop to get a drink. I just left everytime but this time.  After about 20 min he unlocks the door.  Grabbed a drink and paid. Ask why the door was locked and he said he had to do something.  I replied maybe you should put a sign up to say you will be right back it confused customers outside who tried to get in and left.  Said I don't need a sign and cut me off when I went to reply.  Dude is rude and obviously doesn't care about customers.  Came for years.  Won't be back.

Sign outside says open 24 hours right? So tell me why I was smoking a cigarette outside around 1am and the employee walks by me with trash I say hi, not a word from him. He throws the trash out and goes inside. I finish smoking and try to grab a drink and some munchies but the door is locked. This man is stocking chips right in front of the door and doesn't look at me when I knock. I called the shell he answer says sometimes we're closed and hangs up. I try to call again to ask when he'll open back up but he doesn't answer!! I'm standing outside in his line of sight and he doesn't acknowledge me and let's the phone ring. Straight up disrespectful!

I was on my harley heading south on 85 and it started to rain really bad so I stopped at the shell and asked if I can hide out from the rain and the clerk was nice enough to let me stay and even let me have a cup of coffee very cool about me standing around to wait

No matter what, the team of people at the front of this store make having vehicle work tolerable. Michael, Shaun and Matt have been accurate with all the work performed. No, they haven’t always been the cheapest price point. Yes, THEY HAVE ALWAYS STOOD BEHIND THEIR WORK.
So professional, supportive and competent.

Our family was on vacation with a full load in our car.  One of my tires got a screw in the tread. Relying on the spare at highway speed was not an option.

We called about 8 Tire Shops in Colorado Springs, Denver, and Castle Rock, but it was a July Saturday and everyone was booked.

I was in a "tough spot" away from home and on the road with my family.

We eventually reached this Castle Rock Big O shop. I explained my situation, and the manager said "Come on over...we'll get you in."

There were 10 men working in the shop that Saturday morning. I could tell the camaraderie was high and the morale within their team was quite healthy.

I bought 10 breakfast burritos from the nearby Taco Bell as an expression of thanks and brought them over immediately.  About an hour and 10 minutes later they handed me the keys.

We resumed our vacation with almost no delay thanks to these professionals.

Castle Rock Big O Tires FOR THE WIN!

I have lots of experience with different Big O franchises, but this one is hands down the best! Nail in my tire. No problem. Patched and back on the road in 30 minutes with no appt. Great, fast service!

Woke up to a flat tire this morning. Pulled it off and put the spare on and made my way to Big O. These guys were absolutely awesome. Helped me get checked in with a great attitude, got my truck on a jack, fixed the tire, put the spare back on, and got me back on the road in under 30 minutes. Great job, I will definitely be coming back here when I need tires or anything else. Thank you!

Friendly people. Helpful, honest, open to price matching, and quick. They did great work, and did a free check on something other shops were saying needed to be looked at. They didn’t try to take advantage of the opportunity and it ended up being a free check. I’d absolutely go back for the next check and tire change.

Way too high priced! Quoted me a cost of 480.00 dollars for one hand rail for my mother's steps. We got what we wanted online and got 2 handrails for 160.00 and it was delivered in 2 days... bear in mind that the 480.00 was just the price for 1 handrail.  I  installed it myself and got 2 of them. I  would advise you to shop around!

I have had an amazing experiencing working with Kent. He talked me through everything I needed for my huge railing order . Gave helpful advice, sent pictures. I ended up having to add on later to a large order that I placed and his response? "NO PROBLEM! We can probably get this out for you today." Do not hesitate to order from this company even if you are a homeowner as opposed to a builder. Highly recommend!
