Target

This is one of the nicest targets I’ve been to. The parking lot was very large and  clean. There are lots of order pickup spots on the side. The store was very clean and well stocked. There were no lines up front. This was such a beautiful store.

I want to love the fact that Auburn has its own Target, finally!   However, because they seemingly wanted to save some money on the build out.  The floors and lighting seem to be original to the K-mart, which just makes the whole store more dingy and feels rundown even though everything else is just like Target.

Taget is over-priced! I mean it always was, but this is ridiculous! A thin men's sweater was $25 and the plus size section has hardly any merchandise. They wanted $25 for a canle too! Get real. There was one cashier on the weekend, and only 1 person working the coffee shop, which had about 15 people in line. Felt sorry for the barista!

Why does this target feel so different than others I have been in? I feel the store lacks merchandise. The shelves from day 1 of opening have been pretty slim. I have been in several times and they never seem to have what I am looking for, always out of stock! Direct reflection of someone not doing their job right! Come on you can do better.

I've never had a negative experience here, other than the fact that I end up leaving with $100+ worth of stuff whenever I go for just 1 thing lmao.

DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse

Friendly and helpful staff, clean, organized, great selection all around.
Was able to find a dress shoe for a baby shower that met my strict criteria as Im currently on crutches and needed a shoe thats comfortable, functional and grips in size 10. Not focusing on my criteria the selection was vast and suited every style. Even my 8.5 month pregnant sister was able to find something comfortable.

Ordered a pair of sneakers from DSW online and they didn't fit. Online agent told me I could return them to any DSW store without a problem. I was skeptical, but went to DSW in Hyannis. Instant return, instant refund to my account, no problem at all. Found a pair that fit better at a nice discount. Great store, very pleased.

Good shoe store. It's my first time being in a DSW. I was impressed with the selection of brands and styles! The employees were very helpful in suggesting what brands would work for my needs!!

Great customer service!

Went for a sale on boots and great selection.... As it turns out I bought 3 pairs of shoes... Sneakers, Work Boots, and Casual dress up shoes

Website states Closes at 8pm. Drove almost a half hour to find out they closed 2 hours early! Weren't the only ones... If you're going to shut a store down 2 hours early, put it on your website!! Ridiculous. Will be going somewhere else to purchase shoes.

Hanlon Shoes

I have never had anything other than a wonderful experience with regard to courtesy, professionalism and knowledge. I was fitted every time I walked in, and I had a full explanation of every thing I bought, and I had all my questions answered. The people working there were wonderful and I’m so happy to have this store in my community.  I challenge everyone to find a better shoe store.

Best service I've gotten in a long time. They answered all my questions, measured my feet properly, and had a pair that fit perfectly. I certainly will be shopping here again.

I needed a new pair of sneakers for jogging. Ryan was really helpful in getting what was best for me, and he was very patient as he was also dealing with several other customers at the same time. He brought out a couple of options and checked to see if there were other colors that I might prefer, which I didn’t even mention, but I felt that he went the extra mile. I went for a walk tonight in my new sneakers and they were so comfortable!

They took the time to assess my feet and gait, and brought out 3 different pairs of running shoe for me to try, that all worked perfectly. Very knowledgeable and patient. Highly recommend.

#1 sneaker shop! Very knowledgeable staff and super patient. They are definitely not pushy about selling you something you're not sure about. We felt confident about getting the right sneakers. Will definitely go back.

Suburbia

I made an online purchase, several days later they canceled my order due to lack of stock, I called to report the situation and they told me that in a period of 5 to 7 days I would see the refund reflected in my account. It's been more than 10 days and nothing. Today I contacted them again and they told me that in order to make the refund I must personally go to a branch to get the money back in cash. I live 70 km from the nearest branch. I'm going to lose half my purchase money and hours of my life just getting there. A shame. Bad experience. First and last time.

A lot of variety of clothing at very varied prices, there is everything from very economical clothing to very good quality clothing. They undressed a mannequin to give me his shirt, so I would say the service is very good. :)

Do not take out PIF Insurance, they do not respond in customer service (it takes 15 to 20 minutes to communicate with an "advisor") and they serve in a rude manner. When you want to cancel it, they almost even offend you for canceling their Chafa insurance, I'm thinking about suspending my departmental card anyway since they must be the same in customer service at the store. Better go to Sears, it's nearby. 👍👍👍

One of the worst stores in Suburbia, the salespeople don't let go of their cell phones, super bad service and bad attitude, the store is disorganized, it seems like you are going to buy clothes from the bale (everything piled up), I needed to buy several pants but there was no tailor to make the bastille, terrible service

My purchase is 6 days late, for which they originally gave me 17 days for delivery, which was already high. I have communicated with them and they show no interest in resolving.

Clothes, medicine, fun items, basic needs.  That sums up target.  This one was clean and when doing a evening Sunday run for some quick items to start my week, I found friendly staff, a human cashier, and so many choices.  Much bigger than the target I’m used to.

Have been calling Target for several days to check on a particular Seasonal candy but the phone just keeps ringing and never gets picked up. Several times over 3 days I tried calling non-stop for about 30 minutes each time for either the Front Desk or Food Department but couldn't get anyone to answer the phone. I had checked the website and it said the candy was in-stock and listed the aisle. Finally just drove over there and the spot on the shelf is empty. Was told that they hadn't gotten around to putting that candy on the shelf. Talked to the "manager" at the Front Desk about nobody answering the phone and was told that the phone hadn't rang for her entire shift. Seriously?!? The phone didn't ring for hours and she doesn't think that's strange??? Tried calling the South Portland Target a few times today and they don't answer the phones either. Incredibly pathetic customer service...

I am completely an utterly appalled. I cannot fathom why the Starbucks employees within target are not allowed to receive tips. Not only are these corporations under paying people and literally watching them suffer. They’re also telling them they cannot accept a tip. how does this accomplish anything and who the hell is in charge?
Deliberately, tearing down our economy, stupid. Whoever decided this should be charged with the falling of the United States.

This is absolutely the worst Target I have ever been to. There is always an extremely long line to check out with self checkout and 1 or no workers working the other registers. When I place orders for pick-up they are never ready on time and they do NOT answer their phones, none of them! It is impossible to get ahold of a human being at this store.

Answer your phone Target. Horrible. South Portland Target is so much better. Too bad they didn't have what we need In stock. Have South Portland train these people in topsham. I've called 5 separate times and rang for over 5 minutes. Wonderful.

Charleston Shoe Co.

I have five pairs of Charleston shoes and by far they are my favorites. I have a narrow foot, so they fit extremely well, can walk forever in them, always get many compliments and have put my beige ones in the washing machine several times. Am in Nantucket now and can hardly wait to buy my next pair.

The quality of the shoes is really bad,  very comfortable but after a month they fall apart,
great customer service .

Wife stopped in to see what they offered. Plenty to choose from.

Native Shoes

We visit Native Nantucket annually and we have never been disappointed! This year Beth went above and beyond and ensured that we received our favorite Nantucket branded shoes for our entire family!!! I cannot say enough positive things about this store and their positive atmosphere!!!!!

I am definitely saving up for a pair of these shoes. Love the style, and everything I know about the company is really cool. I guess this is the first US location for this Canadian brand — odd choice, but apparently the owner spent time on Nantucket growing up. 2 stars comes for the store in particular. Maybe they're not getting a lot of foot traffic because the Google maps pin is WAY off from the actual location of the store. Took us forever to find and the saleswoman gave us *serious* attitude when we left without buying a pair. Literally stared at us without saying anything when we said "goodbye, thank you!" Yeesh.

The Shoes are fantastic both my wife and I both purchased multiple pairs. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. We will definitely be back next season.😎

Do NOT buy any shoes from them as a gift!!! ESPECIALLY if you live out of the area, they don't do exchanges or returns unless it's in store. Now we're stuck with a pair of shoes that can't be worn. I never leave reviews but I felt this information needs to be shared.

Canterbury Leather & Sandal

After nearly 22yrs of Not having Birks I felt the need to go get some!! And I used this cool leather gift certificate to purchase them! They have two locations and I did call in advance to see if they had the styles I was interested in but they don't and they don't do special orders. Tons and tons of goods packed into a decent space. By the rotary in Orleans. Two staff. Mostly it's just help yourself which is fine. When you figure out what you want they get it if they have it. Super excited to wear these babies in!!!

So here's the deal. They definitely have a wide array of nice high quality products. There's also no doubt about it that the prices are comparatively high and there's almost no effort to be competitive or offer deals of any kind.

The real issue here is with the assumed owner. My wife and I had an experience whereby after the holidays we simply wanted to return or exchange an item in a valid manner as you would in any other store ever. The staff member who helped us was downright aggressive defensive and hostile towards us. Sure we don't necessarily dress or fit the role of someone upper middle class spending $250 on a pair of leather footwear, but that doesn't give you any right as a customer service representative of a store to treat us any differently than someone who does. She acted almost as if we were trying to steal from her even though we brought the receipt and card used to purchase the item. She said there was an absolutely all sales final policy which is completely absurd especially around the holiday season.

Very very poor service experience with blatant disregard for customer satisfaction.

Closed Mondays in March - how about update your site so people don’t make the trip for no reason.

Went in intending to buy a pair or two of high quality sandals for my birthday, maybe in the $100-200 range. Clerk followed me the entire time, staring and hovering like she’s so proud for deterring a potential shoplifter.

So I find a good pair of Birks and I get up to look for a second pair.  “Oh, you’re all set?” she says, finally finishing her charade of pretending to dust a foot and a half away from me.

“No,” I say.

“Oh, well then I’ll just put these away for you.”

Uh... alright, guess I’m buying nothing, then.

So heads up to anyone else going there, be sure to wear your Sunday best and pearls, I guess. 🙄

Great stop in Chatham
Found my black Keens in my size.   They have Teva, Keen, Birkenstock and lots of other brands.   2 floors.

Sometimes, like today, the only place we visit in downtown Chatham is Canterbury Leather. High quality shoes, leather goods, and jewelry. Don't forget to visit the sale room upstairs.

Excellent selection of shoes & leather goods but terrible customer service. The two people working on Tuesday evening seemed so bothered by being asked for shoe sizes to try on. Not attentive to customers at all. And slow as molasses to actually help. Gave us an bad taste of Chatham as it was the first store we went into. Thankfully, all the other shops’ employees were kind & helpful.
