Best shoe store I have ever gone to. Let me just qualify…they specialize in comfort. But,  there is nothing frumpy about their inventory. Great sales people and an all around excellent retail experience.

My family always has a great experience here. The owner is so friendly and helpful.  We initially came for dance clothing and shoes and my children now go for their shoes.  They are patient and always have great recommendations.  My kids always look forward to a trip to Village Shoes!

Went to Village Shoes for the first time today to get snow boots for my 7 year old son.  Great experience.  Frank, the owner, was welcoming and very nice/kind to my son.  Beautiful store with large selection.  With Frank’s expertise, we found exactly what we wanted at a very reasonable price.  I highly recommend this place and we will be returning in the future.

Very nice little store! My brother and I will usually buy new shoes here every year and we've been coming for quite a while now. The guy who works here is very knowledgeable and also remembers us whenever we shop here, which is great! The welcoming environment is what makes us keep coming back here (instead of simply just getting shoes at a chain store or the mall).

Journeys

Hi my name is Gregorio, I really enjoyed  the store the staff was wonderful and reasonable prices and the it was clean cool music playing in the store 5stars from me. Journeys is so nice from when someone name Greg greeted me to when Last month Genna help me out  to buy a pair of sneakers that I now love they have everything kind brand but Nike. I love there Uggs boots  that I bought yesterday from Linda and the store manager. Tyler was able help me out and as well I bought nice warm and comfortable soft socks and shirts for a gift for a friend . I bought a store gift card from him to give someone for Christmas.

Genna, the store manager was very helpful & gave great customer service! Will most definitely be back!!

I was sent the wrong sneakers. I went to the Journeys in Bridgewater Mall Nj to return them. I ended up speaking to the manager Genna, and was AMAZING! She went above and beyond for me. I appreciate her work ethic and kindness. I pick up the right sneakers on Monday! Highly recommend this store!

Shopped at Journeys Bridgewater tonight and had a great shopping experience with an amazing sales associate named Dev. She was very sweet and totally new her inventory. She could sell anything in fact ended up with not only tge gift I needed nut also a Xmas gift too

Jayla was a wonderful associate and very thoughtful. She went above and beyond to fulfill our needs and more. She was one of the best associates I have ever seen. She also put a smile on our faces!! 😁

Comfort Shoes Birkenstocks & More

I visited this store 3x already, the first time they didn’t have my size so they took down my information and called me when the shoes I wanted came in. Sadly I didn’t tell them the correct size and realized when I got home my new Birkenstocks were a bit too small. I thought the 38 was a size 8, it’s not it’s really a size 7-7.5, so I needed the 39. The staff said they can properly size my foot, and I did indeed need the 39. I have a narrow foot so I went for the Arizona soft bed, narrow, in suede. They added a few extra holes since my foot is really narrow and told me to come back if I ever needed extra holes after they break in. While I was there I saw the Birkenstock Madrid and decided to get those too since they’re less casual and look a little bit more dressy so I can wear them to work. They did have 10% off sale going on which was a pleasant surprise. I will continue to stop in and shop at this gem of a store because nothing beats the customer experience at a local small business!

Awesome customer service. My best friend and I came in with the giggles and a mission to buy Birkenstock’s to remember our trip to Siesta Key. We were helped when picking out sizes and sold! I highly recommend picking up some birks here!

Excellent selection of Birkenstocks!  The gentleman/owner was VERY patient with accommodating my wife's unusually narrow foot (9.5 AAAA), and friendly.  Purchased 3 pair of tropical colored Birks for her here since 2016, and she still wears them regularly!  Look forward to shopping here again on next visit.

I can’t say enough good about this shoe store! I live in Ohio but visit Siesta Key frequently, and purchased my first ever pair of Birkenstocks at this location a few years ago. I had been on the hunt recently for the Boston Clog style Birks, but seeing as they are very trendy again now, they are sold out literally everywhere in store and online. I finally remembered this amazing store and decided to call and see if they had a pair left and sure enough they had one left in my size! The woman who helped me over the phone was so kind and had them shipped out to me within 5 minutes of me calling the store. I received the pair of shoes a day and a half later with a handwritten thank you! I would 100% recommend this store to anyone. The customer service is unmatched!

The Shoe Buckle

Why not make a deal with other store owners to share parking lot because CLEARLY there is no lack of parking for Shoe Buckle customers!!! Owner told us our car will get towed unless we are going to shoe buckle. Really??? How many empty spaces are here??? Only picking up food. Cars will be towed, he says. I think he can make better use of his parking lot as I saw 4 other customers walking by and none of them were for shoe.buckle.

Beautiful women's shoes and a large selection to choose from! The salesperson was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Especially if you need a wide width shoe, they have it! Very stylish too! I will definitely shop here again!

Caveat Emptor

At the end of a long work day, standing on my feet for hours, I planned on attending a trunk show for Mephisto, advertised in the Town Topics. When I arrived the store was empty but open, and the vendor had left. I was hoping to buy comfortable shoes to wear at work, but found nothing to my taste. I was handed a pair of insoles, and proceeded to check out. I was exhausted and not paying attention. It was closing time, no one else had been shopping, and they were closing up.

The next morning I realized that I had been charged $130! Returning to the store upon opening the next morning, I attempted to return them. I was told the policy was for store credit only. I argued that I had no idea that the cost of these insoles was so expensive, since they were not prepackaged. I argued that since I was the last customer of the day, and the first customer in the morning, there was no reason to force a store policy...and explained that I felt taken advantage of. He didn't budge, and I explained that was poor customer relations. Who would want to be forced to come back and purchase from a store that had no consideration for their customer's experience?

I went to the shoe buckle for the first time, looking for comfortable walking shoes because my feet were hurting, Arnaldo The Salesperson  spent over an hour trying to find the correct shoes that will fit me comfortably, he told that he was a professional shoe fitter and not so much a salesman, so I let him show me his expertise and the results were excellent for me because I left the store with multiple pairs of shoes and very satisfied with the superior customer service that I received by Arnaldo. I recommended this store to my friends and family. I will continue to shop at the shoe buckle.

Great People! Great shoes and Jogging Running shoes,  the professionals at this family owned business know feet!  The made my orthotics and helped fit me correctly!  I recommend they highly!

Target

The most disorganized target i’ve ever been to. Looks as if the store was ransacked, there are products all over the floors and knocked out of shelves, missing items, inventory online doesn’t match what’s in store. Very low inventory of items in general. Trash all over the sales floor. Expired food items on the shelves, and in the cold sections!! employees are scarce and it takes forever to get any help!

This is my regular target- or at least it used to be! They remodeled the store which I was excited about thinking it’d end up looking like the Beaverton location (super nice!!). But no. Now everything and I mean EVERYTHING is locked in cabinets and must be accessed by employees. So we all need a personal Target employee assistant to shop here now (no, they are not staffed to be able to actually do that). What should’ve been a 15 minute shop took well over an hour and I couldn’t even get everything I needed even though it was all there in the store. You just can’t reasonably shop the way they’re trying to make us now. Driving out of my way to a different store would have saved me time and frustration so I guess that’s what I’ll do now. Bummer.

I google a product online sale a decent price went to store to grab and go only to realize in-store price was DOUBLE. So I had to place an online order to get the reasonable price. Needless to say 40mins later walking around store waiting order still isn't ready for a simple item, so I purchased some makeup and left only to find that would have been cheaper online as well. Still waiting for my online order... Won't be coming here anymore after

Ordered 2 items that showed available for store pickup. Got an email saying my order was ready for pick up...both items. Get there and am told only 1 item was available and that I would get refunded in 3-5 business days. The clerks were all rude. Asked for a supervisor. Asked him why it let me order if out of stock. He said sometimes the system makes a mistake. Asked why I got an email saying BOTH  items were ready for pickup.  He said it wouldn't have said that. I said
so you are calling me a liar? He said no, but it wouldn't show that. I showed him the email. He said hmm, well that was a mistake. I said a lot of mistakes and you are saying I have to wait 3-5 business days for my refund? On top of that, the email that says I will be getting a refund says I will be getting it for the order "I canceled "!
Horrible service. I admit I was rude by the end of this exchange but there was not one iota of customer service and they did not care at all about the inconvenience to me. I will never be back! And recommend anyone who is thinking of going there try another store. Their shelves are bare anyway!

Target sucks now. Expensive with little selection. Store remodel is bizarre looking simultaneously sparse and overstuffed. Annoying display carts in the middle of isles making them hard to navigate. Seems like half the store under lock and key needing an employee to fetch products.

Suburban Shoes

It was so wonderful working with Frank at Suburban shoes. I had scoured the Internet for a particular pair of shoes that I needed and his shop was the only one that had them in my size. He took my order over the phone, shipped them out the same day, and the price including shipping was less expensive than the shoes alone on any of the other websites where I found them. Highly recommend supporting this local shop (even if, like me, you don’t live in that area.)

This place is amazing! Not only did they have the completely sold out Birkenstock Boston clogs in my size, but they had a fair price and shipped the very next day. My order came from NJ to OR in three days!! They also sent me a personal email letting me know when my order shipped, which was so nice. I’m completely impressed with this shop! Thank you for such great service.

Amazing shop! I was able to find Birkenstock Boston’s and Ugg Ultra Minis in my size here! Purchased online and got an email with tracking info two days later. Definitely recommend purchasing at this local business.

This is a great shoe store. I've been going here every since my twins, (age 4 now), needed their first pair of shoes. Upon checkout they mentioned a twin discount and I've been going back ever since.
Today was an example of how knowledgeable and helpful their seasoned staff is. One of my daughters was in love with the rainbow colors of a shoe,  yet he heard me talk to my daughter about how she needed shoes that would support her feet as she was complaining of foot pain on long hikes. He got up and went in the back to what I thought was giving space for a mother/ child conversation. When he returned he had the perfect solution in hand of rainbow Stride Rites. He was even able to get ones that were different but equally cool for twins.
Every time I go here they take the time to measure my girls feet and explain to me the changes in my children's feet. Generally I'm happy here. Wish the store was a little bigger,  but they can always order shoes for you.

Excellent! This is where everyone should buy their shoes! Highly recommend Suburban Shoes because you will find everything that you want and need whether you are looking for a sneaker 👟 for serious exercise or a comfortable, stylish shoe for work. The owner and salespeople treat you like family! Walk in and leave in shoes that allow you to feel as if you are walking on clouds!

Famous Footwear

We went to the shops next to it to look for shoes, but when we saw this store, we went inside. we had shoes, slippers and sandals of every brand and every kind we wanted. employees were involved. The slipper we liked did not have a number, but they said they could find it from another store and bring it. Spacious and beautiful store. Definitely a must see place for shoes and alternative things.

Large store with good stock, many wide sizes available in men's footwear.   Unless something is marked down, prices are not very competitive.  We were there on Sunday and found the salesperson to be gruff and not at all helpful.

I was greeted upon entering the store but I heard a snarky remark immediately following.  Other customers were welcomed back but I received no farewell remark exiting.
The store carries very low quality products.

I like this place, but on a Sunday they open @12 pm and there’s a lot of people waiting the person supposed to open the store it’s sleeping at his house. It’s now past 12 and when one of his co-workers called him many times and said I woke him up now, he should be on his way soon, just now woke him up???

Although there weren't many shoes available, normally there's an excellent selection at great prices. The prices were excellent when I visited the store with my mother and therefore that's probably why the selection was unusually limited. Also, the staff was attentive even though the store was busy.

Extremely negative store experience yesterday.

As soon as I walk in there is a woman and her dog. It is a large dog, no leash, no service dog jacket. Nothing. Also, it is not right next to her, it is just loose In the Store. I avoid the area, walk out of my way to avoid the Loose Dog in the Store. I then call Target to tell them this, and I get the prompt to click 2 “for a list of departments” and then 2 for “customer service” AND it hangs up on me. I tried this multiple times and could not get through because when I followed the prompts it just hung up on me. So annoying! So I could not even report it right away. I got back up to the register to check out and the dog is sitting to the left of the check stands by itself! She, the woman, is at a check-stand away from her dog. Really?!

However, what really Irks me is that I see the employees at the front of the store observing this and doing NOTHING. They did see it. So I go up to one of them (after the dog has left) and ask for the manager and it is her. She is the manager and she did nothing. I voiced my complaint and she said if she sees them again she will say something. Why did she not say something the first time?

Does it take an innocent customer who expects safety and comfort in their shopping experience to get attacked, bitten or unnerved for Target to do something? A dog that is “friendly” and “does not bite” could. I am a witness to this. Absolutely unacceptable. I will be taking my business elsewhere. Target is not protecting their customers.

I made an online purchase to pick up in store. Medford store was clean and organized. Staff were busy at the 'returns/pickup' counter but cheerful and methodical. My order was ready. Staff asked and then found a cart for me. professional service. will use again.

I really like their wide range selections for their health & beauty departments. As well as their stationary/pen aisle. They're definitely thee best place to go if you want to see a variety of things. Which makes it fun. & don't be surprised when you buy more than you were expecting to. As always. Ha.

This staff is very unfriendly and has a bad attitude, she is also racist, never encountered anything like this, just because we are foreigners, she said bad things about us and kicked the door out. won't come again

If the stores phones would work, calling all departments and the system hangs up on you before a person answers, it would have been a better review.  The person at self check out didn't even realize I had clothing & the security tags were left on.  Get home, 25 miles away, and have to return to get them removed. That is not fun.

Foot Locker

Let’s begin with the in store experience.
It took a while for me to be greeted or asked if I needed help. ( There were no other customers in the store at the time). One employee appeared to be on the phone and the others aimlessly having a conversation that did not involve sneakers.

I encountered three employees -
A Caucasian male with glasses, black male with a stocky build , and Latino male that rung up my purchase. Not one of them checked to ensure the sizes matched. Which leads to a greater issue- me finding today that the shoes were - different ! I had 2 left shoes ! One shoe a size 4! Another shoe a size 2!

Moreover, I live in Philadelphia! 2 hours away! Aside from me needed the shoes tonight - when I contacted the store to share with them the problem. Justin ( Associate Manager supposedly) expressed he was unsure of the procedure when customers check out! I restated what he said to me and Justin goes on to say he is not the head manager. I asked when the head manager would be in- he proceeded to express he didn’t know !

The conversation continues and literally went no where ! I recommend training of all staff including those In management! I look forward to speaking with Ryan ( the head manager ) to resolve this issue and huge inconvenience!

Who would think that purchasing boots would be such a challenge 🤷🏾‍♀️! Either way - don’t waste your time patronizing this store. Go somewhere else!!!

i was grateful to be greeted at the front and i felt very welcomed. when it came to looking for shoes however i kept looking for an employee and the only one who approached me was the employee Jose. He was extremely helpful and even offered some suggestions and they really caught my attention. all in all i had a great experience for my first time at this location.

The store was very clean and neat. The staff was very attentive and helpful. They greeted me upon entering and were very pleasant. When I found what I was looking for the salesman helped me right away. Everything I needed was in stock and ready for me. Excellent experience!

My kids are obsessed with sneakers so I’m in a lot of sneaker stores very often. Today I went into Short Hills footlocker to pick up a reservation. I was greeted by Melissa who recognized me as a customer from another footlocker I also shop in. It was a great experience. She is so professional, energetic, kind, helpful and overall pleasant. It was really nice to have such great customer service by Melissa. I recommend that anyone that needs sneakers to ask for her!

They helped me find what I need and didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t come in looking to buy.

Ever since their “remodel”, this store has been a disaster. Low to no stock, clothing is trashed, no recovery done to clean up, OSHA hazards, ADA and tripping hazards, and the cherry on top today - no toilet paper in 50% of the stalls in the women’s restroom. No paper towels either. The flow and layout of the store is disjointed now, making it very hard to shop. Target charges a premium for their products, but presents a “Ross” shopping experience (if you know, you know). Forget about trying to navigate a cart/stroller/etc. through the aisles. I hate coming here, but unfortunately it’s one of the only stores that carries some (minimal, also understocked) maternity clothing. The maternity section always looks like a tornado tore through it.

Target had made me very happy. They told me that they will stock up on more neca toony terror figures. I have so far went and picked up leatherface the grady twins and now I have picked up ash Williams from evil dead 2 there. The people are very friendly who work there and I will stop by more when my birthday comes to see what other ones they will have.
Remember this that in 2022 target used to have toony terrors. But in 2023 the guy told me they will not have them again. But boy was he wrong about that. They do have them back in stock after all. Now I will have to hunt down the regan figure if I see here there as well but it will take time.

Great prices, but selection is limited since the remodel, and you will get charged a bag fee on order pick-ups every time even if you refuse the bag. It's super frustrating that the employees have not been trained or just do not care enough to remove the bag fee when you specifically tell them no bag and ask nicely for them to please remove the fee. Then I have to call my target red card and spend 10 minutes on the phone to get credited back the bag fee. I now no longer order for a drive-up or store pick-up due to this inconvenience. Add to that the trouble of finding the products in the store, which is currently a shambles, and I have just about stopped shopping here, which is a shame. I still go when they have a price that can't be beat, but drive up or store pick up are a no-go because of untrained or uncaring employees and fees that shouldn't be charged. Target was actually sued over these bag fees, Google it, yet they still can't get their employees to properly credit the fee back when bags are not accepted. You've lost my pick-up business Target, do better.

EDIT: I went in for shaving cream because I had a gift card, and even shaving cream is now locked behind plexiglass. No employee ever came when we used the call button, so my wife walked over to an employee who was stocking a shelf nearby and asked him to open the cage for the shaving cream. The employee seemed pretty annoyed at the situation, not necessarily annoyed with us, but annoyed at the entire situation. Then we get to checkout, and self checkout is closed, and only 2 registers are open. A third register is opened while we are waiting, and we finally get checked out. During checkout, my wife asks why self checkout is closed, and we are told it is because of theft. Well theft has made shopping at this Target a complete nightmare. What should have taken 5 minutes took nearly a half an hour and I consider myself lucky my wife was there because she is more assertive than me, I would've just walked out with nothing after waiting 5 minutes for the shaving cream to be unlocked and no one coming. Lowered my review to 2 stars.

I felt very sorry for the employees here today. So close to Xmas and only one cashier and self check out.  Most people in line where a little irritated,  but also felt bad for her. Cashier was still VERY pleasant and still smiling, like nothing was wrong.  Amazing!  Her service was over the top and beyond in this situation.  Eventually another opened, but a lot if people stayed with her to support and show her appreciation and perseverance. I would give a 5 star for her!

I was at this Target two days ago and I needed help to find something, so I asked a girl who worked there and she didn't even look at the picture I had and she sent me to some area of the store and it wasn't even close to what I was looking for! Before hiring employees please make sure that they are not racist because not all customers are the same as her and they may need help sometimes!
